Let's start the chapter.

**********

"Naina jaldi breakfast leke aao...pet me chuhe uchal kud kar rahe hai." Sameer impatient voice echoed and his eyes darted again and again towards the terrace door.

He was sat on the terrace and decided to breakfast here. It was a winter day and every where cold air giving a chill sensation. He already dressed for office and he was impatient to see his wife as he didn't take a single glimpse of his wife after wake up.

His wait was worth, when he saw his beautiful wife who looked alluring in a pink saree. He couldn't take his eyes off her as she walked towards him carrying a gentle smile on her pretty face.

He observed her every movement when she was moving towards him with a slow pace. His lips unknowingly curled into a smile, seeing her anklets which he had gifted her a month ago and it adored her feet beautifully. Then his eyes moved up on her waist where the key bunch was hanging perfectly on her slim waist. As his eyes fell on her pretty face, he was left breathless. He was captivated by her sweet smile which was had enhanced her simplicity and natural beauty.

When Naina reached to him to find him lost and coughed to gain his attention. As he came out of his stupor, he embarrassed and rubbed his neck looking other side. She kept the tray on the table and took a seat in front of him. She had brought his favourite aalu paratha with curd.

Seeing his favourite aloo paratha which made by his beloved wife, he was tempted and he didn't control his urge to relish it and he quickly attacked on the delicious food, but he hissed in pain next second as it was hot. Seeing his fingers red, her face writhed to feel his pain and requested him, before putting his finger in her mouth to soothe the burning sensation. "Sameer... dheere...garm hai."

Then she fed him with her own hand. He also fed her and she opened her mouth.

Her little concern for him, touched his soul and he kissed her palms looking intently in her deep orbs. She blushed lowering her gaze.

He again tore a piece of paratha and hot sensation made him hiss.

"Kya hua Sameer." A female voice reached his ears and he looked around of him with a daze. He found himself sitting on the dinning table with his family.

And he realised, he was lost in those beautiful moments, which he had spent with his wife in Ahmadabad and his mother's voice brought him back to the present. His eyes turned towards his wife and he gave her a sweet smile.

But in return today she didn't even a single glance at him nor cared of his burning, it's twisted his heart and his willing to eat was died. He just played his spoon for sake of his wife that she would do her breakfast.

Later he shrugged off his sadness and he planned to visit the places where he had taken her, when they both met five years ago and confessed their love. He wanted to relive their best moment but he hesitated to ask her as she was not ready to go anywhere with him.

Before Sameer could ask her, Dadi's voice broke his reveries. "Naina..mai mandir ja rahi hun aur mai chahati hun ki tum bhi mere saath chalo...."

Naina didn't want to go anywhere and she was about to open her mouth for deny but a soft squeeze of her hand stopped her. She turned to her husband who answered behalf of her. "Dadi... Naina aapke saath jayegi." He flickered his brows at her. "Jaogi na Naina...dadi itne pyaar se kah rahi hai." He stretched his every words that she could not deny.

"Mai aur Naina akele nahi jaa rahe, tum bhi aa rahe ho hamare saath...ab jao jaldi se tum dono ready ho jao." Dadi ordered them with a soft smile.

Sameer and Naina strode towards their room and he closed the door behind them, once they entered.

"Sameer mujhe nahi jana... please." Naina pleaded making a innocent face.

Sameer face dropped and said with a resentment in his voice. "To jao...jakar dadi ko mana kar do."

Naina thud on the bed and said with helplessness. "Nahi kar sakti na mana, unhe bura lagega."

Sameer wondered and retorted her with a painful voice. "tumhe dadi ki itni chinta hai...aur har baar mujhe mana karti ho to mujhe bura nahi lagta."

Naina's face fell at his comment and her feet moved towards the closet to choose a saree.

His solemn gaze roved over her retreating figure and walked out of the room informing her. "Mai bahar hun, tum ready ho ke aa jana."

When Naina came into the living room, his jaw dropped seeing her enthralling look. She was looking gorgeous in an orange coloured silk saree.

"Badi pyari lag rahi hai....kisi ki nazar na lage." Dadi adored her and put a kala teeka behind her ears.

Sameer looked at them with moist eyes and got lost in Dadi's affection and care, which he had carved since childhood. But an affectionate voice broke his trance.

"Khada khada kya dekh raha hai...jaa jaldi se ghadi nikal hame der ho rahi hai." Dadi instructed him with a little fake anger.

A sheepish smile crept on his face and he went to parking swirling the car key in his finger. He had received an affectionate rebuke. He had waited a long time for this affection and he got this affection only due to his wife.

The whole ride of temple was pleasant and a spark twinkled in his eyes. As they prayed the God, Dadi turned to pandit ji.

"Pandit ji...ye mera pota aur ye uski patni hai." Dadi addressed them as him own grandson and her daughter-in-law, then requested to pandit ji. "Inn dono ke khushhaal grihasthi ke liye pooja karwaani hai...to aap pooja kar dijiye pandit ji, jisse mere bachcho ko bhagwan ka aashirwad mil sake aur unke jeevan ke sare dukh door ho jaye."

Sameer got emotional with the concern of Dadi for him and his wife. He was overwhelmed and unconsciously his eyes went to his wife. There were tears in her eyes and this time he knew that these were tears of joy.

As the car hit on the road to back home, Sameer smile widened as he had planned after temple, he would take her some places. He started proceeding on his plan.

"Dadi...mai Naina ko kahi le jana chahata hun...le jau." He proposed.

"Mai agar na kahungi to kya tum nahi le jaoge...puch to aise rahe ho jaise sab kuch mujhse pucha kar karto ho." Dadi scolded him for pretending to be angry.

"Sorry Dadi...but abhi aap permission dengi tabhi hum jayenge...kyo Naina." Sameer asked her while looking at the rear view mirror.

Naina was confused about what she would reply, whether she should support her husband or break his heart. She wanted to stay away from her husband to save him from further pain and heartbreaking. As she mind up, she was a manhoos and in the future Sameer would realize this truth, so she wanted to cut of all her cord with him slowly. She had already started it, by not giving importance to his words, request and his feelings and most ignored him.

"Dadi aise thode na jaa sakte hai...ghar me bhi to bahut kaam hai." She pretended of work.

Her answer made sink his heart and he dejected of her stubbornness. She was trying her best possible way to distance herself from him.

Dadi sensed his sadness and addressed Naina. "Kya kaam ke baare me soch rahi hai, wo to koi bhi kar lega...bahar jayegi to achcha lagega...aur itna pyaar karne wala pati mila hai, uski to kadra kar...bechare mere pote ka dil tod diya."

Naina smiled just thinking about how much Dadi loves Sameer now, but her smile soon vanished just thinking that she couldn't break Dadi's heart by refusing her and she replied half-heartedly. "Ok Dadi."

"Ye hui na baat...beta yahi din to hote hai ghumne phirane ke...ek baar jimmedari aa jayegi to tum dono chah kar bhi ek dusre ke liye time nahi nikal paoge...aur sabse badi baat har ladki ke naseeb me itna pyaar karne wala pati nahi hota...tu bahut lucky hai beta." Dadi tried to give some sense to Naina and praised their love.

"Dadi... lucky to mai hun jo mujhe itna pyaar karne wali wife mili.... aur Naina bahut samjhadar hai." And a proudness reflected on his eyes.

"Wo mujhse bhala kon achche se janega..." Dadi caressed her hair and said with a heavy voice. "Beta ye teri hi samjhadari hai, nahi to mai bekar me tum dono se chidhati thi...aur meri nafrat ki vajah se Sameer ne apna bachpan gawan diya...mai use pyaar dene ki jagah bas nafrat deti thi... Sameer ke dukho ka karan mai bhi hun."

"Nahi Dadi...ye to meri kismat kharab hai, jiski vajah se mujhe pariwar nahi mila." Sameer protested as he did not want his dadi to blame herself for the mistakes which no longer mattered now.

Naina felt the atmosphere became heavy and she changed the topic.

"Dadi aap beeti baaton ko chhod dijiye aur aaj ko enjoy kijiye...aur Sameer ko apna dher sara pyaar dijiye jo aaj tak aap nahi de payi." Naina requested looking at his husband through rear view mirror.

"Use hi kyo... tujhe bhi to pyaar dungi... aakhirkar tu mere iss shararati pote ki jaan hai...to tujhe usse jyada pyaar karungi." Dadi said affectionately.

"Kya dadi....sab mujhe chidhate hai." He frowned.

"Chal ab jaldi se mujhe ghar pe chod de aur apni Naina ko le jaa Jahan bhi le jana chahata hai...Haan lekin jaldi laut aana, sham hone se pahle." Dadi warned him but there was a concern for them. It's overwhelmed both heart.

"Thank you Dadi..." He thanked and his attention shifted to the dynamic change that had taken place in their relationship over the past two years.

Sameer's step grandmother never liked him and his wife but some circumstances were such that her wrong thinking about Naina had changed. Her equation changed with Sameer and Naina. Sameer easily didn't accept the fact and made a distance himself of Dadi but Naina insistence he agreed to accept her as his grandmother.

**********

Sameer was elated and he drove the car on the empty road in the outskirts of Delhi as he had changed his plan and he was taking her a new place. He had been driving for an hour and they covered three-fourths of the way to their destination. He sometime caught a glimpse of his beautiful wife and noticed a serene smile on her face. He decided that he would not disturb her good mood as he witnessed this joy after a long time.

Suddenly his eyes fell on the something and he stopped the car, that she came out of her reveries and looked at him with a perplexed look. He gestured her to come out.

"Naina...lunch ka time ho gaya hai to kyo na pahle lunch kar le... phir aage ki journey start karenge." Sameer proposed as she approached to him and she nodded her head.

It was a dhaba which situated in the Gurgaon Jhajjar highway. He offered her to seat on a bench and also settled opposite to her.

"Naina...kya order karna hai." He asked.

"Umm .... Mujhe... Mujhe..." Before she completed Sameer voice reached her ears. "Tumhe nahi khana??...to kya sare din bhukhi rahogi..." And he slammed his fist on the table. "Kyo Naina kyo...tum apne health ko lekar itni laparwah ho... meri galti ki saza apne aap ko kyo de rahi ho."

Naina snapped him in a little stern voice. "Maine kaha...mujhe nahi khana hai...aap bhi na... puri baat sune bina hi kuch bhi soch lete hai."

And she muttered in an inaudible tone but he sensed her grumble through her moving lips. "Gussa to inki naak par hota hai...bas mauke ki talash rahti hai, phat padne ko."

"Sorry... achcha batao kya order kare." He apologized his overreacting and passed the menu to her.

She ordered her favourite dishes only for her and Sameer first surprised then he understood her intention and mumbled himself. "Tum kuch bhi kar lo...mai hurt nahi hounga."

"Mera ho gaya...aap apne liye order kar lijiye." Naina passed him the menu.

He smiled before glancing the menu card and ordered the same food for him which she had ordered herself. He wanted to make her realise, they both are not different person.

As the food placed on the table, she started without waiting him and the cough sound making her halt. She noticed, which food arranged on the table, one of the dishes was the one which Sameer was allergic to and he was having that food.

She pissed off seeing him eating the dish but she did not react to it and continued eating mumbling. "Bilkul bhi dhyan nahi rakhte."

When his coughing grew more, she snatched the dish from his hands. "Sameer...aap chote bachche hai kya...jo aise harkat kar rahe hai...jab pata hai ki baigan se aapko alergy hai to kyo kha rahe hai."

"Kyonki tum kha rahi ho...aur mai tumse alag thodi hun." He replied flashing his teeth and Naina exasperated with his answer.

Once the lunch over, he ordered a cold drink bottle and he forwarded it towards her. She just sipped only one fourth and left the bottle. The next moment her eyes widened in shock as he finished the leftover bottle in one go.

Her intense gaze fixed on him as his rough lips touched the bottle mouth, and she felt something stirred in her heart and havoc created in her stomach. She suppressed her feeling and avoided to gaze towards him.

They again started their journey and an half hour later, he parked his car in the parking.
He took her in a peaceful place, it was a national park, which was famous for variety of resident and migratory birds and surrounded with a greenery. The park was centred around a lake which was surrounded by a 4-km-long circular walking trail.

On entering the park, they both rejoiced the beauty in front of them. The park beauty was exceptional, just beyond of words. The place was secluded from the hustle and bustle of the city. The place was less crowded and they got a sense of calm there.

Sameer noticed, there was a gleam in her eyes when she looked at the surrounding. Seeing it, a gleeful smile bloomed on his face and he encircled his arms around her shoulder drawing her to close him but she withdrew his hands and he entwined his fingers with hers. This time his grip was tightened that she could not remove her fingers.

Then he led her towards the lake side and they slowly marched the circuitous route that encircled the lake and passes through patches of riparian vegetation, marsh, and semi-arid scrub. After a round they climbed the watchtower along the way to see various birds past at eye level. As they both reached the top, they were mesmerized for a moment by the beauty of the entire park.

As Naina watched the birds dancing to close her for the first time in the wast sky, she was exhilarated and wrapped her hand around his arm in excitement.

"Sameer...wo dekhiye na kitni sunder chidiya (bird) hai aur uske pankh...bahut sunder hai na." Naina squealed with a jovial smile and pointed towards a bird.

Sameer looked at first the bird then his gaze drifted to her keenly and replied with a dreamy voice. "Haan... bahut sunder hai...aur apne khubsurat pankh phaila ke aasman me ud rahi hai.... mai to chahata hun ki ye aur upar ude aur hamesha udati rahe...kabhi apna hausala na khoye."

His statement brought her back from her reveries and she left his arm as she dawned the meaning of his words. She looked at flying birds and heard the chirping sounds of the birds. She admired their skills of flying and her hands unknowingly spreaded like it was her wings.

Admist in this Sameer attention was only on Naina. For him Naina was important and looking the birds were secondary things.

Spending a quality time in the watchtower, they climbed down and sat near the lake. Sameer hesitated to embrace her and unwilling looked at the birds, they fly all over the place. Some birds came to their feets, some just roamed beside them and as they stretched their hand to touch them, the birds immediately flew away.

As Naina was trying to catch the birds but her every attempt failed. She was a little dejected with her failed attempt and this was not unnoticed by his Sameer.

"Naina....wo dekho." Sameer pointed to the other side of the lake, where two ducks and some ducklings were playing in the water. The elder ducks were with them to protect their children. When the little ducks moved away from them, one of the ducks would immediately follow the baby duck. They both enjoyed to see their playing.

"Kitne pyare hai..." Sameer spoke with a joyful smile and clicked few pictures of them.

As Naina nodded with a sweet smile, Sameer spoke with a sober voice while his eyes were still on the baby ducks.

"Naina... ye jo birds hai, wo ek saath do, teen ya phir isse bhi jyada eggs dete hai aur phir unme se chote chote cute se baby birds nikalte hai...par unme se sabhi jinda nahi rahte...tab unki maa kuch din ke liye dukhi hoti hai par phir se apne kaam pe lag jati hai... afterall ye life jo bhagwan ji ne hame di hai use yun ro kar to barbaad nahi kar sakte na... haan jo chala gaya hai uski jagah koi nahi le sakta... lekin phir bhi jeena padta hai, jo hamare apne hai, jo humse bahut pyaar karte hai..unki khushi ke liye."

Naina understood his every words and she also knew, why he was giving her this lecture. She was adamant on not giving up her pain, she replied with a heavy heart. "Sameer aap ne jo kaha wo sahi hai...par kuch dard aise hote hai jiske nishan hamare dil me hamesha ke liye rah jate hai...hum chah kar bhi uss dard se alag nahi ho pate."

Her trembling voice pricked his heart and his gaze shifted toyher from the baby ducks and he requested her with a chocked voice. "I know Naina...but life me aage badhana padega na ...kab tak uss dard ko pakad kar baithogi... please inn bejuban chidiyon ki tarah apne dard ko ud jane do."

"Ye dard agar mujh tak hi rahte to, kab ka bhul chuki hoti...par iss dard se aap ki khushiyan chheen gayi...jiski responsible kahi na kahi mai hi hun...ye baat mujhe jeene nahi deti... Sameer." Naina shared her mind of state and her eyes brimmed with tears.

He enclosed her in a comforting embrace and whispered in shaky voice. "You are not responsible Naina, please do not blame yourself."

And few tears drops fell on her cheek and he felt her slender arms encircled around his back.

They both stayed sometime each other's arms. Sameer parted her away as the time for closing the park.

Watching the birds, enjoying their dancing and sitting the lake side, these were given her a happiness. She felt a little peace in her unsettled mind, her inner turmoil and conflict, with this soothing environment. She also felt herself very close to nature and a smile tugged on her angelic face.

Her smile was treasure for Sameer and he achieved it just a simple way. Which he missed badly for a long back.

**********

The next day was Sunday and Deepika shared her plan for shopping as they all settled for a breakfast on the dinning table and before anyone agree with her, Vishakha looked at Sameer.

"Sameer tum dono kal raat kitne time vapas aaye." Vishakha asked in a bit stern voice.

"Mummy...wo..wo...12 baje ke aas paas." Sameer gulped down and his voice stuttered on his mother's reaction.

"Sameer itni raat kaise ho gayi ?." Vishakha questioned him with a solemn gaze as she was hell angry and disappointed at his carelessness. She yelled at him with a worried look. "Agar kuch ho jata to?...tu akela nahi tha, Naina bhi thi tere saath." but she controlled her anger as Vivek gestured her to be quiet.

Seeing Vishakha infuriated face, everyone could not dare to say anything and Deepika postponed her shopping plan.

After calming her temper Vishakha narrowed her eyes. "Vaise gaye kaha the."

"Wo... gurgaon ke pass jo National park hai vahan." Sameer spoke with a great courage and looked at Naina who played with her spoon bowing down her head. Then his eyes met Rohan and he gave him a look, 'you are gone.'

"Itni dur wo bhi raat ko....how careless you Sameer." Vishakha voice raised just the mention of the visiting place.

"Sorry Mummy..." He mumbled and held his one ear. "Hum saat baje tak Delhi wapas aa gaye the."

"Sameer to tumhe seedhe ghar aana chahiye tha... kahan ghum rahe the." This time dadi retorted.

"Wo..wo hum movie dekhne chale gaye the..." He replied with a sheepish smile.

"Kya...aap dono movie dekhne gaye...wo bhi mere bina... this is not fair bhaiya." Deepika's eyes widened at first then she became grumpy thinking that they did not take her with them and before she could complain anymore her Dadi's voice stopped her.

"Ek baar bata deta...hum sab bahut pareshan the." Dadi concerned voice warmed his ears and he muttered in a low voice. "Isse achha to Ahmedabad tha, kuch bhi karo koi kuch nahi kahta tha...kisi ki rok tok nahi thi."

"Kya badbada raha hai." Vishakha asked with a suspicious gaze and he replied. "Mummy sorry... dimag se nikal gaya."

"Sameer aage se itni raat tak Naina ke saath bahar nahi rahoge...tum akele rahte ho tab ki baat alag hoti hai." Vishakha declared in a authoritative voice.

Deepika looked everyone face and disappointment as everyone scared and silence took place between them.

***********

"Maine pahle hi kaha tha...ghar chalte hai, lekin nahi, aapko to night adventure karna tha, movie dekhana tha....ab ho gai na mummy naraz." Naina's sarcastic voice welcomed him, when he entered the bedroom from the balcony after finishing his call.

Sameer glared her and he furiously snapped back at her. "Aachcha to tumne enjoy nahi kiya...bada mujhe lecture de rahi ho."

"Ab theatre me aankh band kar ke to nahi baith sakti thi...aur jab dekhiye aapko bahar jane ka bahana chahiye hota hai...ye bhi nahi sochate ki ghar pe mummy aur dadi kya kahenge." Naina countered him with a disinterested face and added with a annoying voice. "Isliye mai kahi nahi jana chahati....par aap ko samjha aaye tab na."

He was already in a foul mood due to his mother's scolding and Naina's taunting added fuel to the fire that his temper raised and he lashed out his anger at her.

"Okay sari galti meri hai...fine." He stormed out of the room.

Naina looked back at his retreating figure and miffed of his aggressive reaction.

"Aur aata kya hai inhe...gussa karo aur bhag jao." She muttered sitting on the bed and before she could relax her body, a grumpy voice reached in her ears.

"Haa mujhe aata hi kya hai...at least mai tumhari tarah galat baaton ko dil se laga kar apne rishte kharab nahi karta." He retorted her with a sharp voice and picked up his mobile, which he had thrown on the bed in anger. He threw a deathly glare to her and again stormed out of the room slamming the door.

Naina looked at him with a impossible look and rested her head on the headboard closing her eyes.

On the other side, in another room also two person were fighting.

"Vishakha kabhi kabhi tum overreact kar deti ho." Vivek complained when his wife entered the room and sat infront of him.

"Maine kab overreact kiya hai." Vishakha narrowed her eyes.

"Vishakha abhi breakfast ke time Sameer ko dhathane ki kya zaroorat thi... Wo koi chota bachcha nahi hai, use achche bure ki samjha hai... tumhe sab ke samne Sameer ko aise dhatana nahi chahiye tha...aur phir tum khud jaanti ho na Sameer abhi kis condition se gujar raha hai." Vivek expressed his displeasure to scold Sameer for a small thing.

Vishakha was worried for her children and replied in a serious voice. "Mai uss par gussa nahi hona chahati thi ...par jab Sameer ne jhuth kaha to mujhe gussa aa gaya...aapko pata hai jab wo dono vapas aaye tab 1 baj raha tha...mai usi time Sameer ko kahne wali thi phir dono thake honge sochkar jane diya."

"Vishakha dar gaya hoga...kahi tum gussa na ho jao..." Vivek approached her and sat next to her. He wrapped his arms around her shoulder. "Itni tension mat liya karo... Sameer samjhdar hai...wo sab sambhal lega, bas hame uske saath khade rahna hai aur bikharne nahi dena hai."

Vishakha nodded her head with a faint smile and looked at her husband.

"Vivek mai janti hun mere bachche abhi kis dard se gujar raha hai...unki mental condition ke baare me hi soch kar mai dar gayi thi...jab wo dono der tak tak nahi laute aur na hi koi phone kiya ...meri baichaini badti jaa rahi thi aur phir uska mobile out of network tha. Aapko pata hai kaise bure bure khyal aa rahe the...kahi un dono ke beech kisi baat ko lekar jhagda na ho gaya ho,...ya Naina ne kuch galat kadam na utha liya ho." Vishakha shared her reason for over concerning behaviour.

"Vishakha tum bekar me tension le rahi ho, dekhana sab theek ho jayega...vaise tumne notice kiya, aaj Naina kal se behtar lagi." Vivek observed a slight change in Naina.

"Haan maine bhi notice kiya tha.... hope aapki baat sach ho jaye, aur dono pahle jaise normal life enjoy kare." Vishakha hoped with a sad smile.

**********

When Sameer returned the home, everyone settled on the dinning table for lunch. He went to his room and appeared just few minutes later, after being fresh. Naina and Vishakha served everyone, when Naina was about to place two puri in Sameer's plate, he stopped her.

"Maine bahar kuch kha liya tha... mujhe bhukh nahi hai, bas thoda rice do." He said dryly.

"Tum gaye kaha the." Rohan narrowed his eyes.

He answered looking at Naina who now settled beside him. "Ghar me ghutan ho rahi thi to bahar gaya tha."

Vivek exchanged a look with his wife as sensing his mood was not right. Vishakha felt guilt looking Sameer and Naina's face. They seemed sad and upset.

"Bhaiya puri try karo na... bahut tasty hai, bhabhi ne banaya hai." Deepika exclaimed stuffing a piece of puri in her mouth.

Sameer glanced his wife and announced. "Mujhe khane ki ichchha nahi hai."

He got up after finished his plate and sat on the living room watching the TV. After dinner everyone joined him and they were watching a movie which played on the screen.

Vishakha sensed a tension between them and knew his mood was sour just of her scolding him for last night adventure. Her eyes darted to Rohan and Deepika, they both were watching the TV just passing the time and there expression was such they don't like it.

Vivek nudged Vishakha elbow and she diverted her children attention towards her.

"Aaj Sunday hai...to kya aise hi ghar pe baith ke time pass karna hai." Vishakha scrunched her face in displeasure.

Deepika eyes lit up and she said in a sad voice. "Wahi to Mummy...par lagta hai aaj kisi ka mood hi nahi hai."

"Aise kaise mood nahi hai...chalo aaj sabhi movie dekhne chalte hai." Vishakha offered with a soft smile.

Instantly Sameer and Naina eyes went to her and Vishakha comment flustered them. "Par hum sab night show nahi, day me jayenge." She paused to see their expression and added. "Because we are going with family and would only enjoying the movie."

She ordered to Rohan book ticket for everyone.

"Par humme to movie dekh li hai." Sameer said in a defeated voice.

Rohan suggested, they watch another movie which he had not seen and Sameer agreed with a wide smile.

Vishakha felt a calmness in her heart as she was guilty to scold his son and wanted to compensation her deed. She found it was good plan to boost his mood.

"To chalo sab thodi der rest kar lo... phir movie dekhne chalenge aur vapsi me shopping bhi kar lenge." Vishakha caressed her daughter's face. "Khush."

"I love you mummy." Deepika hugged her and she sprinted towards the stairs to tell her Dadi who was resting in her room.

As Sameer and Naina moved to go to their room Vishakha went to them. "Naina beta subah maine toda jyada hi react kar diya, uske liye sorry beta."

"Nahi mummy...ye to aapka pyaar hai." Naina said in a soft voice. "To ja jaldi se ek achchhi si dress pahan kar ready ho jana." Vishakha said and kissed her forehead.

Naina walked away but Sameer stayed there as her mother tugged his wrist. He looked at her questionably.

"Tera muh kyo latka hua hai...subah ki dantha se abhi tak gussa hai... sorry beta...jab tum dono 12 baje tak ghar nahi aaye to Naina aur tere baare me soch soch kar dil baith gaya tha...kahi usne kuch kar to nahi liya...aur jab tumhe raat 1 baje ke baad apne kamre me jate dekha to jaan me jaan aayi." Vishakha disclosed her fear for him and Naina."

Sameer shocked to know that his mother caught his lie and he apologized then embraced his mother. "Mai dar gaya tha mummy ki aap kaise react karogi..."

Sameer broke the hug and explained why they were late last night. "Mummy mera movie jane ka koi plan nahi tha... varna mai pahle hi aapko bata deta...mai to Naina ko sirf Delhi ke kuch jagah le jana chahata tha, jisse hamari achchi yadein karke uska dukh Kam ho jaye... aur jab itni long tired journey ke baad Delhi laute to kahi jane ka mann nahi hua, lekin Naina ka achcha mood dekhkar ghar wapas jane ka bhi mann nahi hua aur suddenly ek movie ki poster dekhkar movie jane ka plan bana...but vahan network issue ke karan aapko call nahi kar paya..." He held his ears. "aap hamari vajah se pareshan hui uske liye really sorry mummy ."

Vishakha twisted his ear. "Naina ko movie dekhiya wo to achha kiya...lekin agli baar aise bina bataye gayab hua to...tujhe ghar me ghusne nahi dungi...yaad rakhana....ab ja jaldi se meri beti ko sorry bol, nahi to tujhe chhod kar hum sab movie dekhne chale jayenge."

He again surprised and whispered. "Mummy...wo to mai bas..."

Vishakha interrupted him and said with a affection. "Tujhe kya laga mujhe pata nahi lagega, maa hun teri...ab jaa jaldi."

***********

Sameer stepped in the room, Naina struggled with clothes in the wardrobe. He reached to her and stood behind her fidgeting his fingers. He gulped as how to start the conversation.

"Sameer mai ye saree pahnu lun." Naina asked him to show a saree as sensed his presence but his mind occupied another thing that he just hummed and turned her towards him clutching her shoulder.

"Sorry Naina... mujhe subah tum par aise chillana nahi chahiye tha... please mujhe maaf kar do." He apologized with a guilt face.

"Mai to kab ka bhul gayi...aap bhi bhul jaiye." Naina replied with a calm voice and she picked up the saree.

And the next moment Sameer eyes fell on her hand and he frowned. "Tum saree pahen ke jaogi."

"Haan...abhi aapne hi to haan kaha tha." Naina replied with an innocent face.

He closed his eyes for his mistake and said. "Wo maine dekha nahi tha...tum koi achha sa suit pahno na."

"Par dadi aur mummy bhi hongi na." She objected.

"Wo bura nahi manenge...tum bas wo pahno jo tumhe comfortable lagta hai." Sameer eased her nervousness and encouraged her to wear whether clothes she wanted.
