Chapter 69
Sameer stepped out of the washroom after bathing and looked at the bed hoping that his dresses would be there but there was nothing. He disappointed to see the empty room and took out the gray shirt.
A voice came from behind him. "Kya Sameer aap phir se ye gray shirt pahan rahe hai kitni baar kaha hai aap na white ya phir navy blue shirt pahna kariye usme jyada handsome lagte hai... Chodiye ise aur ye shirt pahaniye." Naina handed him a white shirt.
"Haa to tumhe pahle se nikalne chahiye the na mere dress, aaj to mai yahi shirt pahnuga." He replied making a face and he was amandant to wear the gray shirt.
Naina tried to snach the shirt and rolled her eyes at him. "Aap nahi pahnege ye shirt."
"Mai yahi pahnuga." Sameer tightly clutched the shirt in his hands.
Seeing his stubbornness Naina raised her hands, cupped his face, leaned down his face to her height and kissed his one cheek. Sameer was stunned from this unexpected act of his wife and he stared at her in disbelief, that time his hold on the shirt loosened. Seeing this opportunity Naina snatched the shirt from his grip. After a while he realised his wife had fooled him by taking advantage of his weak point.
"Naina mujhe ye shirt do." Sameer growled at Naina who was running away taking his shirt.
"Naina shirt do." He yelled again. And he turned the back but no one was there and his gaze fell on his own hand, he held the gray shirt.
"Nahi hai wo yahan, sirf uski yadein hai... Kyon use yaad kar raha hai...jise tumhari jara bhi fikar nahi hai agar hoti to inn teen dino me ek baar to call zarur karti." His mind rebuked his heart which recalled her.
He was dress up for office sadly after that he looked Naina photo in his wallet and complained. "Naina kya tumhe meri ek baar bhi yaad nahi aati, kya tumhare liye mai itna praya ho gaya ki haal chal bhi nahi pucha sakti.... tumhare liye sach me mere pyaar ki koi importance nahi hai ." He was fumed and looked his mobile on the bed then said to her photo. "bina bataye gayi ho tum...to sabse pahle tum call karogi mai nahi karne wala aur na hi tumhe lene jane wala hun suna tumne... agar mann karega to aa jana... nahi to padi rahna wahan."
He closed his wallet out of rage and stormed out of the room slamming the door behind him.
On the other hand, Naina was sitting on the dining table for breakfast but she did not feel like eating anything.
"Naina itni chup kyo hai aur kha kyo nahi rahi... sab teri pasand ka hai." Preeti asked in a concern voice.
"Kha to rahi hun." Naina replied putting a spoon of kheer in her mouth.
"Teri jijaji se baat to hui hai na." She worried to see her dejected face.
"Haa kal raat hui thi." After sometime she got up and said. "Mai room me jaa rahi hun."
"Ajeeb hai thoda sa khaya aur chali gayi." Preeti surprised.
In the room, Naina wiped her tear and apologized for lying to Preeti in alone. "Sorry Preeti tujhse jhuth bola... meri Sameer se koi baat nahi hun, infact unhone bhi teen din ho gaye phir bhi call nahi kiya hai...Lagta hai bahut naraz hai... mujhe laga tha mere bina nahi rah payenge aur kal lene aa jayenge par na to lene aaye aur na hi call kiya...aisi bhi kya narazgi hai Sameer." Her voice choked thinking about his anger.
"Mai har raat ko phone ke paas baithati hun iss ummeed me ki aap call karenge Sameer par nahi aata call aur meri himmat nahi ho rahi call karne ki... aapka number to laga leti hun par dial ka button nahi daba pati...ab aur ye dard bardasht nahi hota Sameer." And gathering the courage to face his anger, she came out of the room and dialed his number.
Unfortuntely his number was busy, she again dialed after 10 minutes but it was out of network. She was feared and said to herself. "Inka number out of network kyo ho gaya... ye delhi me hai bhi ki nahi."
She instantly dialed the home number, after the third ring telephone picked up by Vishakha and she asked her directly. "Mummy Sameer kahi gaye hai kya?."
"Kyo beta?... usne kuch bataya tha." Vishakha asked.
"Nahi mummy... unka call nahi lag raha hai." Naina replied in a sad voice.
"Sameer severe office jaldi chala gaya tha par kahi aur jane ki baat to nahi ki thi, office ja raha hun itna hi bola tha... Network me kuch problem hogi beta .. isliye nahi lag raha hoga, tension mat lo baad me laga lena." Vishakha said normally hoping that its would only network issue.
After that Vishakha inquired about her well being and both of them kept talking for a long time.

Preeti entered Naina's room after lunch, she ordered her to be ready. Naina looked her in shock and stood from the bed.
"Ready kyo hona hai?." Naina questioned.
"Kyonki tu aur mai bahar ghumne jaa rahe hai." Preeti replied with a bright smile, approaching to her.
"Mujhe kahi nahi jana." Naina denied quickly.
"Kyo?... aur tera mood kyo kharab hai subah se.. jijaji ne kuch kaha." Preeti concerned.
"Nahi...Sameer ka phone out of network hai... pata nahi kaha honge." Naina replied with a tense face.
"Tu bhi na Naina koi network issue hoga...ghar me call kar puch leti." Preeti suggested her to call home.
"Puchha tha ghar pe, mummy ne bataya office gaye hai." Naina replied with a sulk face.
"To tension kiss baat ki le rahi hai...Chal kahi bahar jayenge to tera mood bhi fresh ho jaayega." Preeti replied with a reassuring smile.
"Preeti nahi." Naina refused to go out side and again sat on the bed.
"Tune promise kiya tha meri koi baat nahi talegi aur agar tune ek baar aur mana kiya na to mai tujse baat nahi karungi... ab chal jaldi." Preeti blackmailed her as it had always worked out.
Later Naina and Preeti went to many tourist places and had a lot of fun. Lastly they visited a famous temple Laxminarayan temple and Naina prayed to God make everything right between her and Sameer and apologized to hurt Sameer.
When she was walking down of the temple stairs with Preeti, her gaze fell on a couple, they were climbing up the stairs holding each other's hand and lost in their loving world. Seeing them her heart instantly pricked to destroy her loving world by her own hands. She looked back at them once again and tears pooled from her eyes at her own misery. But she wiped away the tears before looking back at Preeti, who gave her a sweet smile.
"Kya dekh rahi hai." Preeti quivered her brow.
She gestured to the couple. "Us couple ko dekh, un dono me kitna pyaar hai na."
"Haan bilkul tere aur jijaji ki tarah ...par tum dono jitna pyaar nahi hoga...tum dono ka pyaar hi sabse alag hai aur itna gahra hai jise salon ki duriya bhi kam nahi kar payi Naina... Tum dono mere liye world ke best couple ho...jo bas pyaar karna jante ho, tum dono ke beech ladai jhagda ka koi naam hi nahi hai...aur jijaji to tujhe palko par bitha kar rakhate hai koi bhi gam tere pass aane hi nahi denge." Preeti admired their relationship and happiness reflected in her eyes for her.
After knowing Preeti's believe in their relationship and love her face turned pale, her heart ached and she lost somewhere. Her desire to see any place disappeared. Now she wanted to reach home soon and cry over her fate. But Preeti dragged her to roadside vendor to show some things. She looked at things half-heartedly. Suddenly a beautiful thing caught her attention.
She spotted a vendor who was selling different types of tea or coffee mugs on which he was engraving whatever the buyer wanted to write. She was impressed by the idea of selling him and it took away her bad mood. She thought why not buy a coffee mug for her Sameer with a special message engraved on it.
She approached the seller and asked him to write I love you Sameer with some love sign on a coffee mug. Later the seller gave her a beautiful decorative mug with her message written on it. She kissed it and mumbled. "Ab dekhati hun kaise nahi mante hai aap...ghar wapas jate hi ye mug aapko dungi as a gift for forgive me."
Preeti praised her selection and she even bought a mug for the Pandit. Later they both returned home reminiscing their old days enjoying their favorite pani puri and ice cream at the roadside vendor.

In the evening when Vivek came from office, he enjoyed tea with Vishakha and felt relax as his head was aching badly the whole day.
"Vishakha tumhari hathon ki chai pee kar maza aa gaya...pure din ki thakan chali jati hai...aur aaj to tumhare iss chai ki sabse jyada zarurat thi." Vishakha looked him dazely who sipping the tea.
"Are...aaj bahut headache ho raha tha." He cleared her perplexity.
"Mai balm laga dun." She worried knowing about his pain.
"Uski zarurat nahi hai.... tumhari chai hi kafi hai." Vivek assured her that his headache had gone.
Vishakha bit satisfied to see his smile. Then she listened his business matter half-heartedly.
"Aaj Rohan aapke saath nahi aaya." Vishakha asked suddenly.
"Ek presentation taiyar kar raha hai ... lekin maine bol diya hai dinner se pahle aa jayega." Vivek replied.
"To phir mai Rohan ko kah deti hun, apne saath Sameer ko bhi le aaye...nahi to roj ki tarah dinner ke baad aayega." Vishakha displeased to think Sameer late arrival.
Hearing Sameer's name, Vivek's expression changed. He looked at his wife with a tense look.
"Vishakha tumse kuch baat karni hai...Sameer ke baare me." Vishakha was stunned hearing his serious voice and asked immediately as recalled about Naina's call in the morning. "Kya hua Sameer ko, aur kaha hai... Bataiye please."
"Relax Vishakha... use kuch nahi hua hai." Vivek calmed down her pressing her hand.
"To phir kya baat hai." She worried.
"Mai sautela hi sahi par uska papa hun Vishakha aur uska chehara padhana mujhe bhi aata hai." Vivek replied with a sympathetic look glancing into her scared eyes.
"Aise kyo kah rahe hai... aap hai uske papa... wo bhale hi na kahe par manta to hai...ab bataiye kya baat hai." Vishakha supported him as she was terrified.
"Vishakha... Sameer mujhe pichhle kuch dino se bujha bujha lag raha hai sab theek hai uske aur Naina ke beech." He asked giving a questioning look and added more. "Rohan bata raha tha wo dono Shimala jane wale hai, gaye kyo nahi abhi tak.?" Vivek expressed his doubt in a serious voice and his expression was firm.
"Aisa kuch nahi hai wo Naina nahi hai na isliye udas hoga... aur Shimala nahi jaane ka reason Naina ki health hai abhi abhi fever gaya hai.... vahan ki thandi me phir se beemar ho gai to isliye nahi gaye." Vishakha replied simply.
"Phir bhi Vishakha...Kuch dino se uska behavior kuch change lag raha hai, usne pahle jaise hi khud ko kaam me dubo diya hai ghar bhi der raat se aata hai, savere jaldi chala jata hai, na theek se breakfast karta hai na hi dinner... kal mai returning me uske office gaya tha, wahan par receptionist ne bataya wo office se chala gaya hai...Koi meeting nahi thi uski aur na hi ghar aaya tha... to batao kaha tha?" He stared at her to want the answer but he continued seeing Vishakha unaffected face. "kyonki kal raat 12 baje ghar aaya hai... aur sidhe sone chala gaya bina kuch khaye.... puchho usse kaha tha itni der raat tak." Vivek forced her to think about Sameer seriously. As he was worried of Sameer change behaviour last few days and today he was alerting to Vishakha.
"Aap na kuch jyada hi sochate hai...Naina se milne Preeti ke ghar gaya hoga aur wahi khana kha liya hoga... aap bhi na dara dete hai." Vishakha rolled her eyes at him.
"Sirf yahi baat hogi to theek hai... agar kuch aur hua hai to.." He left his sentence with a sharp tone which made her scare for her son.
"Theek hai aaj raat ko baat karti hun." Vishakha too worried as the way Vivek concern for him and tension brewed up in her heart. She decided today she would know the reason for his unsual behaviour.
**********
"Naina tujhe yaad hai... jab bhi society me kisi ladki ko dekhane ladke wale aate the...taiji hame kaise instruction diya karti thi." Preeti asked chopping vegetables as they both were preparing the dinner with fun and remembering their old days.
"Ladke wale dekhane unhe aate the aur taiji hamari pared karwa deti thi." Naina agreed with her making a sulked face.
"Mai to bindass rahti thi ...par tu aur Pooja didi unki baaton ko kitne dhyan se sunte the." Preeti shrugged her shoulder.
"Haa to kya karte, teri tarah maar khate." Naina replied giving her a stern look.
"Kya kahti thi taiji...ne waa... ladkiyon thoda to sharm karo bas din bhar khi khi karti rahti ho...kaun ladka byaah karega tum ladkiyon se... Pooja tu to badi hai kuch dhang ke kaam kar...o bai..itna achha ghar parivaar mila hai uska to shukra manao...nahi to abhi gaon me uple thop rahi hoti tum sab." Preeti mimicked her taiji's action.
Naina laughed to see her antics and clutched her stomach.
"Seriously Preeti hum uple bana rahe hote." Naina asked controlling her laugh.
"Uple...chhi...kabhi nahi." Preeti scrunched her nose and refused making a disgusting face.
Suddenly the doorbell rang interrupting their lovely moments and Preeti approached the door to open it. As soon as door opned she was shock to see the person whom she was not expected at this moment. She was staring him intently but soon his voice brought her back to her senses.
"Namste bhabhi... Pahchana nahi." The person greeted her standing at the door step and he bent to touch her feet.
"Kaise nahi pahchanungi Sharad...aao andar." Preeti replied but there was sarcasm in her tone.
She made Sharad sit on the sofa in the living and asked him. "Aaj achanak kaise hamari yaad aa gayi."
Before he could answer doorbell again rang and she went to open the door and seeing the person at the door, a soft smile appeared on her face.
"Pandit aap aa gaye." She became delighted.
"Haa aur dekho saath me kaun aaya hai." He gestured beside him where Sameer stood. Preeti's smile widened and she wishpered in low voice. "Jijaji."
"Haa tumhare jijaji hai...par abhi andar to aane do." Pandit made her realised that she had blocked the door. She became embarassed and immediately welcomed Sameer.
Pandit and Sameer followed Preeti to the living room where Sharad was already present. Pandit hugged Sharad as soon as they both see each other. After that Pandit introduced Sameer and Sharad.
"Sameer ye mere mausi ka beta Sharad hai." And Pandit said looking at Sharad. "Aur Sharad ye mera dost Sameer hai."
Pandit asked the same question to the Sharad that asked Preeti earlier and Sharad replied with a cheerful smile. "Ek meeting ke liye aaya tha...Bahut dino se apse aur bhabhi se mulakat nahi hui thi aur aap dono ki bahut yaad aa rahi thi, to aa gaya."
"Theek kiya aur bata ghar pe sab theek hai, masi aur mausa ji kaise hai." Pandit asked with same exciting voice.
As soon as Pandit's gaze fell on Sameer next to him, he was sitting as if he was not interested in all this and was there only for his pleasure. Understanding his situation, he demanded Preeti.
"Are Naina ko bulao... dekho us se milne kaun aaya hai." Pandit said looking towards Sameer.
Hearing Naina's name, two faces lit up, first was Sameer who was eager to see his Naina and second was Sharad who was thinking that Pandit had called her to meet him. He was glad inside, to see her after a long time.
"Naina dekh tujhse milne kaun aaya hai." Preeti called out Naina, who was lost in Sameer's thoughts while cooking. She had no idea who had come and what was happening in the living room.
Naina came out of the kitchen and was shocked to see Sameer and the very next second her eyes fell on Sharad which made her scare. Before anyone could say anything, Sharad spoke in a hurry.
"What a pleasnt surprise.... kitne salon baad tumhe dekh raha hun Naina... aaj bhi vaise hi ho jaise teen saal pahle thi... suna hai tumhari shaadi ho gai hai... phir tum yahan kya kar rahi ho, tumhe to apne pati ke saath hona chahiye tha... lagta hai tumhara attitude dekh kar tumhare pati ne tumhe ghar se nikal diya... jis attitude se tumne mujhe reject kiya tha... mai sure tha tumhara rishta kisi ke bhi saath jyada din nahi chalega." Sharad was continuously taunting her without care anyony and everyone was staring him with a fury.
As soon as Sharad started speaking, it didn't take long time for Sameer to understand that this was the same Sharad who was going to be in a relationship with Naina. He stiffned, his blood boiled and his nostril flared in rage after hearing his comment for Naina and about their relationship. His palms curled into fist and he was ready to burst out on him.
Pandit and Preeti gaze turned at Sameer quickly and Pandit sensed his inner turmoil and his anger. He rubbed his hand squeezing to calm down him.
Naina too sensed his anger and ignoring Sharad comment, she aproached him. "Aap chai lenge ya coffee."
"Kuch nahi chahiye." Sameer retorted looking towards Naina fuming then calmed down himself seeing her frightened face and said in a controlled voice. "One glass water."
Naina immediately dashed to the kitchen for bringing the water. Preeti changed the topic speaking to Sameer. "Aaj hamari yaad kaise aa gayi... lagta hai Naina ke bina dil nahi lagta aapka."
Pandit said keeping his hands on Sameer's shoulder. "Ye to hamare ghar ka rasta hi bhul gaya hai Preeti.... Wo to maine ise road kinare khade dekha aur zid karke le aaya..warna ye aaj bhi nahi aata."
Hearing their conversation Sharad was perplexed why they were giving him so much importance as he was just a friend's of Pandit and why Preeti refer to Naina with him, why Naina acted like she is his wife. Why she was staying here leaving her husband house. And Why Sameer looked at him so much furious. He lost in this thought without giving attention to their conversation but soon he came to his senses to hear Preeti voice.
"To phir aaj aap dinner karke hi jayenge aur Naina ko le jaane ke baare me mat sochiyega, abhi kuch din aur rahegi meri bahan mere saath." Preeti said in a authoritative tone.
"Tumhari bahen hai jitne din chahe rakh lo, par abhi mujhe fresh hona hai." Sameer replied giving a serious look.
Preeti gestured towards a room. "Jijaji aap udhar Naina ke room me fresh ho jaiye."
Sameer went towards the room glaring at Sharad. Sharad was stunned because now all his confusion were cleared that Sameer is Naina's husband.
After a while Naina came in the living room and asked with a sad face not seeing Sameer. "Preeti...Sameer chale gaye."
"Nahi gaye hai, tere room me hai... Jaa pani vahi de dena." Preeti assured her.
When Naina out of his sight, Sharad asked hesitantly looking at Pandit. "Sameer hi Naina ka husband hai."
"Haa Sameer hi Naina ka husband hai aur mera dost bhi... par jara sambhal ke baat karna, tune jo Naina ke baare me bakwaas ki hai usse wo gusse me hai." Pandit adviced him in a sharp tone as he was also angry with him saying bad about Naina.
"Bhaiya aapne to sirf mera dost hi kaha tha...to mujhe laga aapka koi dost hai jo ghumne aaya hoga... isliye itna bol gaya... uske liye sorry." Sharad apologised.
"Tumne apni galti mani wo to theek hai par tumne jo Naina ko kaha uske liye mai bhi tumse naraz hun. Naina meri choti behan hai aur koi bhi uske baare me galat kahe mujhse bardasht nahi hoga... phir chahe wo mera bhai hi kyo na ho...do you understand Sharad." Pandit warned him in a stern voice and turned his face towards Preeti ordering to prepare dinner for everyone.
As Naina entered the room, Sameer was sitting on the bed. She went up to him and handed him the glass with trembling hands. "Sameer...pani."
He took the glass from her hand and stared at her, placing the glass on the table.
Naina frightened seeing the fire in his eyes and wanted to escape his wrath so she gave an excuse. "Jaldi aa jaiye, dinner ke liye sab wait kar rahe hai."
She immediately turned about to leave the room but Sameer held her wrist tightly and got up from the bed. He turned her towards him saying. "Lagta hai mere aane se tumhe khushi nahi hui."
She raised her eyes to look at him and shuddered to face his angry look. No answer came out of her mouth. Seeing her silence, he lost his temper but controlling his rage, he watched her angrily.
"Ab tumhe mere saath nahi rahna hai?." He questioned her again looking straight into her eyes.
Naina flinched by his tone and question. "Nahi aisa nahi hai... wo to." But he cut her in mid.
"To phir mujhe ek baar batana bhi tumhe zaruri nahi laga... Naina... ya phir ab mai tumhare liye koi mayne nahi rakhata.?" Sameer questioned her and looked at her with blood shot eyes.
"Sameer... suniye to." But He left her hands and strode to the bathroom.
Naina stood there numb thinking about his question. She wanted to out of the room but didn't go out.
He emerged out of the bathroom after a while and glanced her frightened figure. He approached the bed, drank the whole glass water and turned to Naina. "Tell me answer Naina... Kya mera hona tumhare liye koi mayne nahi rakhata?."
"Sa...Sameer...ai... aisa kuch nahi hai, aap... galat... samajh rahe hai..." She stuttered.
He clapped.
"Dekha sachchai juban par aa gayi ...mai galat hun, hai na." He gritted his teeth.
"Sameer maine aisa kab kaha." Naina protested looking him helplessly.
"Kaha nahi par tumhara intention wahi tha, tabhi to tumne... hamara pyaar galat hai aisa kaha tha na... Miss Naina Agarwal ufff... Sorry sorry Mrs. Naina Sameer Maheshwari... tumhari sabse badi galti mujhse shaadi karna hai... hai na." Sameer snapped her furiously but his voice sounded fill with pain and helplessness.
She trembled like a delicate plant in thanderous storm and pain arose in the core of her heart. She knew that due to his anger, he was not in his senses and this was not the right place to clear the misunderstanding, so she just mum. Seeing her quiet, he went near her and stood behind her. He wrapped his hands around her stomach, dipped his face in her hair. He traced his nose from her ear to her neck and rested his head crook of her neck.
Naina was shuddered by his touch and heart fluttered as his breath was fanning on her soft skin of neck. He asked while creating a havoc inside her. " Answer me Naina."
"Sorry Sameer." She whispered after calming down her heart.
He jerked away her from his embrace, placed his both hands on her shoulders and turned her around to face him roughly. "What sorry Naina... Pehle dil tod do phir just a sorry... you think it can mend our relationship and our love."
Naina was stunned listening his cracked voice and saw immense pain in his dark orbs. She felt how her words hurt him and made him like this rude.
She hissed in pain as he pressed her shoulder tightly. "Sameer dard ho raha hai."
He left her and turned his face other side giving her a helpless look. Naina touched his back to say something. But the same time Preeti called them. "Naina jaldi aao khana lag gaya hai."
Sameer once looked at her with pain filled eyes before left the room. It pricked her heart. Naina wiped her tears and plastered a fake smile on her face for sake of her sister. She sat beside Sameer on the dinning table. Sharad was sitting opposite to Naina but he avoided to look her and didn't say anything to Naina.
Dinner was delighted for Preeti and Pandit except the three person. Sameer and Naina were lost in their indifference and Sharad was unhappy to know that Naina is married to a famous businessman.
As soon as dinner was over, Sharad said. "Pandit bhaiya mujhe chalna chahiye.
"Itni jaldi kya hai thodi der aur ruk jao." Pandit offered him to stay more time.
"Nahi bhaiya agar abhi nahi nikla to late ho jaunga aur phir station pahuchne me bhi time lagega." Sharad replied ignoring Sameer whose fiery gaze fixed on him.
"Sameer mai aur Preeti Sharad ko gate tak chhod kar aate hai..." Pandit said making him sit on the living room and Naina stood near the dinning table looking Sameer.
Preeti and Pandit went to the society gate to sent him off, leaving Sameer and Naina in the house.
"Mere saath jana hai... ya abhi aur rukne ka irada hai." Sameer asked Naina hoping she would say yes. But his disappointment she did not answer.
He glanced at her downcast face and said to himself. "Bhale hi tunse baat nahi karta tha par tum samne hoti ho to sukun rahta hai... please ghar chalo tumhare bina kuch achha nahi lagta."
Other side Naina said to herself as understanding his pleading. "Mujhe bhi aapke bina kuch achha nahi lagta, mera mann bhi hai aapke saath jaane ko karta hai" Then looked up at him and mumbled." ...kash aap thoda pyaar se kah sakte...Naina ghar chalo... lekin nahi kahenge gussa jo ho rakhe hai."
She started keeping plates near the wash besin in the kitchen without reply him and Sameer looked at her every action that made him confused and raised his temper.
"Jana hai ya nahi... agar tumhari na hai to mai abhi ghar ke liye nikal raha hun." He said in a loud voice sitting in the living room so that he could hear.
Listening his threate, she rushed to living room and at the same time Pandit and Preeti came.
"Preeti mai Sameer ke saath ghar jaa rahi hun." Naina said before Sameer leave the house.
Preeti reached to her and asked with a sad face holding her hand. "Naina kyo jaa rahi hai... tujhe aaye sirf do din to huye hai. Jijaji ne kaha hai chalane je liye... mai baat karungi unse par please tu do din aur ruk ja." She pleaded in a heavy voice.
Preeti turned to Sameer but Naina stopped her saying. "Sameer ne nahi kaha hai... Mera mann kar raha hai jaane ka." And she rushed towards the room.
This time Pandit held Preeti hands who was going to behind Naina and he took her in their room.
"Preeti...Naina ko jaane do isi me dono ki bhalai hai." Pandit requested.
"Matlab." Preeti confused.
"Tumne shayad notice kiya ya nahi par mujhe unke beech sab theek nahi lag raha hai...Yaad hai jab pichhali baar dono yahan aaye the kaise khul kar baatein kar rahe the... aaj kuch missing hai... Isliye kah raha hun abhi abhi shaadi hui hai kyo dono ke beech duriyon bada rahi ho.. kya pata dono ek dusre ko miss kar rahe ho.... jaane do Naina ko... tum dukhi hougi to wo bhi dukhi ho jayegi...use pyaar se jaane do aise rote huye nahi." Pandit made her understand to let her go with happiness. Preeti nodded her head as Naina's happiness was more important than any thing else.
Sameer entered the room and said looking at Naina who was packing her luggage. "Ye baat direct mujhe nahi bata sakti thi..."
Naina did not reply while doing her work, Sameer turned her face to look him and shocked seeing tears in her eyes. He wiped it by his thumbs as his anger melted seeing her tears.
"Agar tumhara rukne ka mann hai to mujhe koi problem nahi hai... jab aane ka mann kare call kar dena lene aa jaunga." This time Sameer said in a soft voice and he started to leave the room.
But Naina's voice stopped him and he heard her chocked voice. "Mujhe aapke saath jana hai..." She said to herself. "Aapki narazgi mujhe yahan do pal chain se nahi rahne degi Sameer."
He left the room saying that he is waiting her outside.
Their journey was completed in silence, no one could say anything. They were just silent and staring at each other sometimes.
When they both reached home, Vishakha was awake to ask Vivek's doubts. But she didn't ask anything as Naina was with him, she thought she would ask the next morning. She greeted Naina with a happy face and ordered them go to sleep after knowing that they had dinner.
"Naina i am important for you." Naina eyes shot up to him as Sameer voice fell in her ears.
As soon as they both entered the room, Sameer kept her bag on the table, grabbed her hand and turned her to him asking this question to her looking her with fiery eyes.
Naina stumbled over his unexpected question and froze her place. Only words slipped out from her mouth as she regained her senses. "Aap aise kyon kah rahe hai...you are my life."
"To phir mujhe bataya kyo nahi...tum Preeti ke ghar jaa rahi ho." He roared at her and his grip tightened on her delicate wrist.
She whined in pain but not woosed any sound from her mouth and nipped her lower lip to restrain any sound. She stared him helplessly controlling her tears.
"Maine aapko phone kiya tha par aapka mobile band tha, phir maine office me bhi call kiya tha par aap meeting me the... mai aapki permission ke bina nahi jana chahati thi Preeti ko mana kar diya tha par wo maan hi nahi rahi thi, tab mummy ne kaha ki wo aapko bata dengi...mai apni khushi se nahi gayi thi Sameer... Preeti ke khushi ke liye gayi thi." Naina explained bearing the pain that he was giving her unknowingly but this time she loose her control and tears welled up in her eyes.
Seeing her mournful face, he left her wrist without any reply and strode the bathroom taking his night suit. She sat on the bed and caressed her wrist lightly as it was burning sharply and a groan sound escaped from her mouth.
Sameer heard this sound as he came out of the bathroom at the same time. His eyes fell on her wrist which had turned red. He shut his eyes thinking of her pain and became angry on himself for not controlling his anger. His eyes met her on as she lifted her face and he walked out of the room without saying any consoling word. His cold behaviour made her cry and her precious tears brimmed down from her deep eyes.
After just few minutes he returned and sat infront of her while ordering her. "Haath aage karo."
She looked at him with a puzzled face. Seeing her freeze, he took her hand over his. He gently applied the ointment to her wrist. He had shut his eyes when she whimpered in pain while rubbing the ointment. She glanced at him with immense love and she had forgotten her pain by his care.
"Dard ho raha hai." He asked in a low voice.
"Nahi...nahi ho raha...aapne chua aur dard gayab." She replied with a glad smile.
"Ok...ab so jao." He ordered while getting up.
Seeing him going away from her, her twinkling eyes turned again dull and blank. She went to the bathroom for changing.
Sameer tried to sleep but Sharad's comment about Naina echoed in his mind and he became angry to Naina why she had come in front of Sharad. He turned towards her to scold her. But a smile crept on his face as she was sleeping peacefully.
He shrugged off this thought of his mind thinking, Sharad was not important to him that he would scold Naina. He was also thinking he would not make the same mistake that she had done.
