Chapter 57
When Sameer was almost ready to leave for airport, he heard the sound of the doorbell ringing. He left the room to see the visitor. He was surprised to see Munna coming with Munshiji.
He immediately came down the stairs and asked Munna. "Munna tu iss wakt yahan, wo bhi Munshi ji ke saath."
"Wo Sameer ek problem ho gai hai." Munna said with a tense face and looked at Munshiji.
But Sameer first said them to sit on the sofa and then asked. "Ab bata kya problem hai."
"Sameer wo maine tujhe Bangalore wale project ke baare me bataya tha.... yaad hai tujhe." Munna said in a serious voice.
"Haan yaad hai aur tu kah raha tha wo company kuch fraud kar rahi hai... ab kya kiya unhone." Sameer asked irritatedly.
"Us time jaisa tune kaha tha unhe warn kar diya tha... uske baad unke side se koi complain nahi aayi... lekin abhi do din pahle Mr. Patel ne hamari company ko legal notice bhejane ki dhamki di hai... ye kah kar ki hamne unhe defective material supply kiya hai...... Aur tu janta hai agar ye mamla court tak pahuch gaya to hamari company fraud list me aa jayegi jisse nanaji ki company jise log ek imandari ka pahchaan mante hai badnam ho jaayegi." Munna told the main problem with that company.
Knowing about the matter, Sameer became worried and asked sternly. "Pahle kyo nahi bataya... aur material defective kaise ho gaya, tune check kiya tha na."
"Haan Sameer beta maine khud check kiya tha... ye us Patel ki saazish hai, tumhare nana ji ke naam ko badnam karne ki." Munshiji said.
"Mai aur Munshiji pichhle do dino se Mr. Patel ko samjhane ki koshish me lage huye the. Unhe sab tarike se convince karne ki koshish ki, unhe settlement ka bhi offer diya lekin wo Patel sunne ko raji hi nahi hai... Wo to bas court jane ki rat lagaye huye hai..." Munna explained their effort to sort out this problem.
"To ab kya karenge... Munna tujhe pahle hi bata dena chahiye tha" And thinking his phone call last day "to isliye tune gandhi nagar ki meeting ka bahana kiya tha ... kal maine kitna puchha tha, par tune bataya hi nahi... kal bata deta to lawyer se baat karke koi option nikal lete... ab aise last moment pe kya hoga." Sameer was frustrated on Munna and felt helplessness.
"Sameer ek ummeed nazar aayi hai...Abhi karib aandhe ghante pahle Mr. Patel ke PA ka call aaya tha aur uski baaton se laga shayad wo settlement karna chahate hai... mai aur munshi ji isi ke baare me baat karne aaye hai." Munna gave him a slight hope.
"To phir problem kya hai... baat karke settlement kar lete hai." Sameer said eagerly.
"Par wo chahate hai ki hum vahan Banglore jaaye unse settlement karne aur kal sham ko milne ke liye bulaya hai...Sameer mai aur Munshiji chale jaate par wo Mr. Patel bahut hi ghatiya insaan hai... kab palti maar de... isliye mai chahata tha... ki tu... bhi..." But Munna stopped.
"Ki mai bhi kya Munna...Bol." Sameer asked impatiently.
"Tu bhi Banglore chale.... janta hun iss wakt tujhe chalne ko bolna galat hai... lekin baat nanaji ke reputation ki hai.. hume laga tha sab sort out kar lenge par... nahi ho paya yaar... mai tujhe pareshan nahi karna chahata tha, isliye kal nahi bataya." Munna was hesitant to ask Sameer to accompany him.
"Kaisi baat kar raha hai Munna... Off course mai jaunga Bangalore... nanaji ne kitni mehanat se ye company khadi ki thi aur unki imandari ke vajah se aaj unka itna naam hai aur unke naam ko koi bhi sirf apne swarth ke liye badnam kare... mai aisa kabhi nahi hone dunga..." Sameer was infuriated at the person who wanted to defame his nanaji reputation.
"Sameer lekin tumhara honeymoon... aur Naina ko kya kahega." Munna worried for their honeymoon.
"Tu chinta mat kar mai Naina ko samjha dunga...wo samjhdaar hai situation ko samajh jayegi...tu ek kaam kar kal ki teri aur meri Bangalore ki do ticket book kar de." Sameer ordered Munna and looking at Munshiji. "Aur aap Munshiji yahan Ahmedabad me hi rukenge, koi bhi important document ki zarurat padi to fax kar dijiyega."
"Jaisa tum kaho Sameer beta." Munshiji accepted his decision.
As Sameer had told Munna that he would explain to Naina but his own heart was pricked to break Naina dream and he wondered how would explain to Naina, because when she got to know about this, her heart would break.
But he immediately diverted his mind to the work which was important now and looking at them said in an authoritative voice. "Par uss se pahle mujhe pura contract paper dekhana hai aur ab tak ki ek ek details janani hai...Munna tu munshi ji ko study room me le ke jaa mai abhi thodi der me aata hun."
Munna nodded his head and they all got up from the sofa and turned to go study room but all stunned as Naina was standing there. Munna kept his hand on the Sameer shoulder and said. "Mai aur Munshiji study room me ja rahe hai." But their track halted.
"Are Munna bhaiya aur Munshiji aap dono, kaise aana hua... baithiye na... kya lenge chai ya coffee." Naina asked.
"Beta kuch nahi chahiye... bas Sameer se office ka important baat discuss karne aaye hai..." Munshiji politely denied her offer and told the reason their coming in this time.
"Theek hai aap sab baithiye mai abhi chai bhijwati hun." She strode towards the kitchen.
Sameer was shocked to see her normal behaviour and thought she would not have listened their whole conversation that she was behaving normally. He was stupefied on the spot and his eyes were staring her retreating figure.
Munna gestured Sameer to go kitchen and he went to study room with munshiji. Sameer darted to the kitchen and stopped at the threshold. He saw Naina was preparing to make tea. She was doing all work with slight smile on her face.
Sameer approached her silently and made her face to look him. "Naina wo... mujhe.... wo." He fumbled of his own words and he downed his head with deep regret.
"Ki Aapko Bangalore jana padega kal... yahi na.." She said in a flat voice.
He raised his head and looked at her with shocked face.
"Maine aapki baatein sun li thi...Ab aap jaiye Munna bhaiya aur munshi ji aapka wait kar rahe hai." She said with a smile.
Sameer hugged her tightly and mumbled. "Tum itni achhi kyo ho Naina."
"Kyonki aap itne achhe hai Sameer..." She replied still in his arms.
After a while Sameer broke the hug and kissed her forehead. "Tum gussa to nahi ho na..."
"Kis baat ke liye Sameer... aap nanaji ki company ko bachane jaa rahe hai usme mai kyo gussa karungi.. ye baatein baad me bhi ho sakti hai... abhi Munna bhaiya aur Munshi ji aap ka wait kar rahe hai... jaiye." She pushed him towards the door.
Before leaving the kitchen, he asked again as he felt guilty. "Tum sach me theek ho na."
"Haan baba mai theek hun... Ye dekhiye." And she smiled forcefully.
When he was going to out of the kitchen she asked him. "Sameer chai ke saath pakode bhi bana dun kya?."
"Huh." He just hummed and walked out of the kitchen with heavy heart.
Sameer was dilemma where on one side was nanaji's company and on the other side Naina's dream. As important for Sameer as Naina's dreams were to be fulfilled, it was equally important to save Nanaji's legacy and take it to new heights. But today he felt very helpless. Naina may have accepted his decision without saying anything, but he knew she was sad and heartbroken.
It was difficult for Sameer to choose between the two, but the demand of the situation was that he should go to Bangalore.
Ramdhari entered the kitchen and asked about help as Sameer sent him for helping her.
Naina was composed her feeling as she was sad but she had known he was not wrong at his place. And brought a smile on her face before turning towards Ramdhari.
"Bhaiya aap pyaaj kat dijiye... pakode banane hai." She ordered him.
When she was about to prepare a mixture of pakoda, Ramdhari stopped her. "Bhabhi laiye hum kar dete hai... aap ki saree kharab ho jaayegi... aur phir abhi kuch der me aap ki flight bhi to hai."
Naina replied with a faint smile. "Bhaiya koi baat nahi mai change kar lungi" After a long pause she said. "hum kahi nahi jaa rahe hai bhaiya."
"Matlab." His eyes widened in shock.
"Sameer kal office ke kaam se Bangalore jaa rahe hai." She again busy making to pakoda.
Ramdhari also became sad and noticed a sorrow on her face that she hid it by her fake smile.
Fifteen minutes later, Ramdhari placed the plates of pakora with tea in front of Sameer, Munna and Munshiji. When he was about to leave, Sameer asked to make dinner for everyone as he did not know how long it would take to understand and discuss everything. He called his lawyer friend to get their opinion on the matter and asked him how to handle this matter without any hardle. And also asked about any other option rather than settlement.
*********
After leaving Munna and Munshiji, Sameer entered the room. He looked at his wife, who was standing by the window, looking at the moon. He reached out her quietly and hugged her from behind.
She also leaned back on his chest and felt his warm breath fanning over her neck. As she closed her eyes, a freshly warm liquid flowed down on her cheeks.
They both stood like this sometime and he suddenly felt she trembling.
"Tumne dinner kiya." Sameer asked tightening his arms around her.
She nodded her head.
But Sameer couldn't convince her answer and he pulled her apart and turned her face towards him.
"Jab jhuth bola nahi jata to bolti kyo ho... hume to tumne khila diya, par khud kyo nahi khayi." He asked in a strict voice.
She downed her face.
"Kyo Naina?.. aur ye aansu...Kyo?." He dabbed her cheek by his thumb. "agar tum nahi chahati to mai Munna ko mana kar deta hun."
"Nahi maine aisa kab kahan... ye aansu to bas aise hi nikal gaye." She protested.
"Naina tumhare ye aansu mujhe kamjor kar dete hai... Please mere liye situation difficult mat banao." He pleaded to not make situation difficult for him.
She wiped her tears and gave him a wide smile. "Aap Bangalore zarur jayenge...Nanaji ke reputation se badi koi bhi baat nahi ho sakti... aapse dur rahne ke baare me soch kar mann dukhi ho gaya tha... lekin mujhe iski aadat to dalni hi padegi na... after all itne bade businessman ki wife hun... to itni duri to sahni hi padegi." She smiled.
He too smile with her and made her sit on the bed. "Tum yahan baitho mai Ramdhari se kah ke tumhare liye khana mangwata hun."
"Sameer wo sone chale gaye honge... unhe pareshan mat kijiye mai neeche jaa kar kha leti hun... phir kisi ko disturb bhi nahi hoga." Naina refused to let him disturb Ramdhari.
But Sameer stopped her and said. "Tum baitho mai le aata hun."
As he left the room, tears welled up from her eyes, that she had held back for a long time. After a while, hearing the sound of his footsteps, she immediately wiped it.
Sameer fed her with love and she ate looking to him with same love.
When they both lay down on the bed Naina shifted towards him for the first time and kept her head near his chest. Sameer heart beat accelerated to see her so close to him and immediately he wrapped his arms around her back to press her to his chest more.
They both listened each other's heart beat silently that was racing wildly.
After sometime Sameer said. "Naina tum kal chacha ji ke yahan chali jana...Mujhe kitne din lagenge kuch pata nahi hai aur tum iss ghar me akeli rahogi...to mujhe tumhari chinta lagi rahegi."
But Naina objected. "Mai kahi nahi jaungi... yahi rahungi hamare ghar me. Sameer aapka business meeting ke liye hamesha bahar jaana hota rahega, to kya har baar chacha ji ke yahan rahne jaungi... Please mujhe yahi rahna hai... aur phir Ramdhari bhaiya to rahenge hi na."
"Okay... lekin agar thodi bhi ghabrahat ho to chacha ji ya phir papa ji ko bula lena." Sameer agreed after giving her instruction.
And he started thinking that if everything was well, they both would be landing at the Delhi airport right now and Naina was thinking how happy Deepika would have been seeing them. But their happiness had turned into a bad memory.
And Sameer felt he was the responsible for all this that happened, so that they could not go to Delhi and apologized. "Sorry Naina maine tumhara sapna tod diya... Please mujhe maaf kar dena."
Naina kept her palm on his lips. "Sameer... Shimla ghumne jana mera sapna tha par itna bhi nahi ki wo aapki responsibility ke beech aaye... hum ghumne to kabhi bhi jaa sakte hai.... lekin ek baar agar Nana ji ke naam par daag lag to unki salon ki kamai hui izzat chali jaayegi... jo hum kabhi nahi hone denge... ye aapki zimmedari hai Sameer ki aap Nana ji ke naam par koi aanch na aane den... aur apki patni aur dost hone ke naate mera farj bhi hai ki mai aapke har phaisale me aapka saath du, aapka housala badhau." She tried to take away his guilt.
Sameer felt ecstacy to know how she easily understand him and made the situation easier for him. He pulled her in his tight embrace and he nuzzled in her head and murmured. "Naina you are such a pure human being.... par Naina mai tumhe kaise akela chhod kar jaa sakta hun.... aur maine jo promise kiya tha tumhare sapne pura karne ka... unka kya?."
"Sameer....ye zindagi hai jo hamare hisab se nahi chalati... yahan bahut saare faisale situation dekh kar liye jate hai... aur abhi jo problem hai uske according aapko Bangalore jana chahiye....To bas ab sab kuch bhul kar achche mann se jaiye aur meri chinta bilkul mat kijiye I am fine." Naina told him the reality of life.
She hid her face on his chest and felt secure in her safest place.
"Naina tumhe sach me bura to nahi laga na."
He asked hesitantly because he was sincerely feeling bad for break her heart.
"Nahi Sameer." She comforted him.
"Pakka na yaa phir tum sirf mera dil rakhane ke liye bol rahi ho." He asked again.
She aparted from him and lifted up her face to look at him and responded irritatedly. "Agar ek baar aur aapne ye sawal puchha na to mai sach me naraaz ho jaungi... aur phir baat bhi nahi karungi." She made a cute face.
He pulled her cheek and said with mischievously. "Achcha...baat nahi karogi."
"Haa... nahi karungi." She replied turning her puffy face to the other side.
He turned her face towards him and said dramatically. "Haye iss ada par to koi bhi fida ho jaye.... meri jaan... aur mai thahra bhola bhala."
"Ye drama chodiye aur so jaiye kal subah jaldi uthana hai..." She showed him a fake anger and muttered under her breath. "Bade aaye bhole bhale... pata hai kitne bhole hai."
Sameer looked her expression doubtfully but she gestured him to sleep.
"Wo to tab uthenge na jab hum soyenge... aur mai nahi chahata ki subah ho jo mujhe tumse dur le jaaye... tumhe bas isi tarah apne paas mahsoos karna chahata hun." He said staring at her with his love filled eyes.
Naina uttered. "Please." And he closed his eyes.
***********
When a bright sunshine broke her sweet sleep, she felt some heaviness on her stomach and the next moment her eyes fell on Sameer who was sleeping on his stomach rasting his one hand on her belly and the other was under his head.
She stared at her husband innocent face for a while and then gently removed his hand from her and went to the bathroom to freshen up.
"Sameer jaldi uthiye Munna bhaiya aate honge." Naina woke up Sameer after getting ready and stroking his hair which fell on his eyes.
"Ummm....Naina tumhe chod kar jaane ka mann nahi kar raha hai..." He said lazily opening his eyes.
"Par jana to padega na... Chaliye jaldi uthiye mai neeche jaa rahi hun, breakfast banane to aap jaldi se ready hoke aa jaiye ga." She cutely ordered his husband who was not willing to get up.
He held her wrist. "Naina suno na..." He whimpered.
But she opposed him as seeing desire oozed out of his deep eyes. "Abhi nahi Sameer." And she rushed out of the room.
She knew that if she stayed in the room, Sameer would not be able to control himself and now was not the time for the romance.
He cursed Munna. "Ye Munna to meri soutan ban gaya hai... kal phone karke disturb kiya tha aur aaj pata nahi usne kis insan se deal kar liya hai ki... uske chakkar me honeymoon cancel ho gaya aur Naina ke paas jane ka chance to gaya hi ab use dur rahna padega wo ek alag torture hai... haye re meri kismat... aur madam to aise sharmati hai jaise mai uska pati nahi koi ajanabi hun." He slapped his forehead thinking of his pitiable condition to seek his wife's attention and to get some time for romance with his wife and smiled on his misery.
Then he rushed inside bathroom seeing the time and sharp half an hour later he came downstairs for breakfast. He had breakfast with his wife, she made aalu paratha for him.
As he finished his breakfast, he requested sternly. "Naina tum time pe khana kha liya karna... mai nahi rahunga iska matlab ye nahi ki tum apni manmani karogi... mai Ramdhari ko ye jimmedari de ke jaa raha hun... so no excuses."
"Achcha mere piya ji... ab jaldi se apna bag check kar lijiye, kuch rakhana bhul to nahi gayi." She said trying to get up from the chair but sat again seeing his tense face and asked. "Kya hua.??"
"Shit bag to honeymoon ke according pack hua tha, ab phir se dusri packing karni padegi aur time bilkul nahi hai..." And he checked the time and was frustrated on himself why he forgot it last night.
Naina seeing him tensed her and comforted him. "Relax Sameer, maine already kal raat aapke dress change karke formal dresses pack kar diye hai... kuch aur chahiye, wo check karke bata dijiye."
He felt blessed as someone was with him now to take care of him and thanked her in a soft voice. "Thank you Naina..."
"Shayad aap bhul rahe hai dosti me no sorry no thank you." She smiled at him.
"Haan dosti me no sorry no thank you... par ek pati apni patni ko thank you bol sakta hai... wo bhi apne tarike se." He said in a husky voice then lifted her hand on his lips and kissed on her palm.
She blushed as his lips brushed her delicate hand. She pulled her hand from his grip and rushed towards the kitchen.
And Sameer looked at her back with a smile and ascending the stair went to his room. He checked his bag where everything was perfect. Then he called her name loudly. "Naina...Naina... jaldi aana."
"Ji aapne bulaya." She asked when reached the door step.
"Haa wo tumhe kuch dena tha." He approached to his wardrobe and took out some money, then came to her. "Naina ye kuch paise hai rakh lo... Tumhe zarurat padegi... jab mai yahan nahi rahunga."
"Iski zarurat nahi hai, Mere pass hai, shaadi ke samay chacha ji ne diye the aur kuch meri salary ke bhi hai." She denied to take the money from him.
"Wo tumhare apne paise hai Naina use apne pass rakho.... aur ye paise mai apni wife ko de raha hun taki wo apni zarurat aur ghar ke kharche inn paise se yaani apne husband ke paison se kare... Please meri khushi ke liye." He requested making sad face and she took the money from his hands and kept it in her cupboard.
When she turned to him, her face became sulked as the time for his departure drew near. She wanted to stop him but she knew it was not possible and it was not right to give any pressure on him. So she supressed her emotion.
As Sameer read her eyes, enclosed her in his tight embrace. And her heart said internally, tightened on his waist. Mat jaiye Sameer.
Aa Sameer sensed her unsaid words, he replied. "Mai kahan jaa raha hun...Meri aatma to yahi hai, tumhare pass."
"Huhh...Aise ashubh baatein nahi karte." She scolded.
"Sorry.... par sach me Naina mera dil yahi rahega... tumhare pass." He replied with a solemn face.
And she hid her face on his chest and suppressed her tears.
"Tum pakka rah logi na iss ghar me agar tum chaho to mai chacha ji se baat kar leta hun." He asked stroking her back as he felt her sadness.
"Sameer mai kar lungi...Aap pareshan mat hoiye." She replied lifted her face and he dipped his head.
After some time they both heard a knock on the door as Ramdhari had come to inform them that Muna had arrived. "Sameer bhaiya Munna bhaiya aa gaye hai."
"Tu jaa mai bas do minute me aaya." Sameer said glancing at the close door.
"Naina tumhe Bangalore se kuch chahiye." He asked.
"Nahi... bas aap jaldi se jakar vapas aa jaiye." She uttered.
"Naina I will miss you so much jaan." He rested his head top of her head and she replied. "Mai bhi Sameer."
Sameer relucantly parted her and asked in a heavy voice. "Chale neeche."
She just dipped her head and admired him as he was checking himself one last time in the mirror.
"Naina mai to chahata tha tum bhi mere saath aati but ye matter itna serious hai ki tumhe saath nahi le jaa sakta." Sameer thought looking at his wife who was coming downstairs with him. As she seemed pensive and gloomy.
And when his eyes went to Ramdhari, ordered him to bring his luggage down from his room.
"Munna sari important document rakh liye hai na." Sameer asked as he reached out to him.
"Almost sab rakha liya hai." And looking at Naina, Munna apologized. "Sorry Naina bhabhi maine aap dono ka Shimla trip cancel karwa diya."
"Munna bhaiya isme aap ki koi galti nahi hai... hamare ghumane jaane se jyada important ye problem solve karna hai." Naina said with a sad smile.
"Achcha Sameer mai bahar car me saman rakhawata hun tu jaldi aa jana." And Munna said to Ramdhari giving them privacy. "Ramdhari chalo... sare bag car me rakh do."
When only they both were in the hall, he first went to Nanaji photo and prayed for him to handle the problem successfully. "Nanu aaj mai aapki company par lage jhute ilzaam ko solve karne jaa raha hun... Please aap mera saath dijiyega... aapka Sameer aapke naam par kabhi aanch nahi aane dega." He took a blessing to touch his nanu photo.
He looked at Naina and said giving her a soft smile. "Naina tum apna khayal rakhana aur time se khana kha lena."
"Aap bhi Sameer apna khayal rakhana aur jyada stress mat lijiyega.... Dekhana sab theek hoga... aur phir Nanaji to hai hi aapke saath, kuch bura nahi hone denge." She said with an innocent face.
Sameer couldn't resist himself to kiss her and packed her forehead delicately then whispered. "Meri Naina ka khayal rakhana... wo bahut bholi hai, hamesh dusro ka khayal rakhate rakhate apna khayal rakhana bhul jati hai."
She blinked back her tears, but it escaped from her eyes and slid down her cheek and seeing it his heart pierced. He cupped her face and wiped the tears with his thumb and pleaded. "Please Naina mat ro, varna mai nahi jaa paunga... Tumhare aasun mujhe kamzoor kar rahe hai. Meri Naina to strong hai... hai na."
She nodded her head with tears in her eyes and smiled at the genuine care of his, and she wrapped her hands around his waist.
He too enclosed her in his tight warmth embrace and their trance broke by horn of the car. He parted away her and said softly. "Achcha Naina chalta hun... and don't cry." And he leaned forward and kissed her forehead then walked out of the main door wiping away of his tears that he was fighting back with it for a long time.
Just when he reached the car, ordered to Ramdhari strictly. "Apni bhabhi ka dhyaan rakhana."
"Aap chinta mat kijiye bhaiya... hum bhabhi achche se dhayan rakhenge, unhe bilkul bhi takalif nahi hone denge...aur unhe akela bhi nahi chodenge." Ramdhari reassured him and Sameer gave him some instructions.
As Sameer left her, Naina had stood dumfounded and looking at his back with a blank face. After a while she ran towards the door and found Sameer was sitting on the car and she stood there till the car disappeared from her sight.
***********
She was heartbroken and spent the time before lunch in her room, missing Sameer a lot. She lay down on his side on the bed and inhaled his fragrance to feel him.
A shrill sound of the phone broke her sleep and she picked up the telephone hoping, it would be Sameer's call but her misfortune it was Shalini.
"Naina abhi Munna ka phone aaya tha wo aur Sameer bhaiya achche se pahuch gaye hai... Unhone kaha hai ki Sameer bhaiya bahut busy hai to shayad phone na kar paye, isliye tumhe batane ko kaha hai... tum tension mat lena." Shalini asked worriedly.
Naina was dejected but not show any dejection by her voice and replied. "Koi baat nahi bhabhi mai samajh sakti hun unhe kitna kaam hoga... aur bataiye kya rahi thi, Nihal kaisa hai." Naina got busy talking to her.
Shalini had offered her she would come to her house to stay with her at night but Naina had refused saying this. "Bhabhi iski zarurat nahi hai, mai chachaji ya papa ko bula lungi agar zarurat padi to... aap pareshan mat hoiye."
After fifteen minutes she disconnected the call and wondered. "Itne bhi kya busy hai Sameer, ki ek call nahi kar sakte... mai yahan itni dukhi ho aur wahan jaate hi mujhe bhul gaye... Kam se kam achche se pahuch gaya hun batane ke liye hi phone kar dete... mai konsa unse ghante do ghante baat karne lag jaungi, bas ek baar unki aawaj sun leti to mujhe bhi chain mil jata."
She was blabbering like this just then phone rang, she picked up reluctantly and answered. "Hello...."
Sameer sensed her voice was bit angry and uttered in a soft voice. "Naina."
As she heard his voice, the receiver was about to slip from her hand but immediately hold it tight and no words came out of her mouth.
Sameer got scared, when he did not hear her voice and yelled. "Naina... are you there."
Naina realized her mistake and said in a low voice. "Haa Sameer... aap theek se pahuch gaye na."
"Sorry jaan tumhe call nahi kar paya...wo checking me busy tha isliye Munna ko kaha tha ki tumhe inform kar de... aur jab free hone ke baad call kiya phone busy aa raha tha... kisse baatein kar rahi thi." He asked casually.
"Shalini bhabhi se.... Aapne lunch kiya." She asked.
"Nahi kiya par abhi thode der me karenge... tumne kar liya..." He replied concernly.
"Bas aapke call ka wait kar rahi thi ab karungi... aap bhi fresh ho jaiye." She said in a joyous voice.
"Achcha suno ab mai sidhe raat ko call karunga... tab abhi ke jaise gussa mat ho jana." He teased her.
Naina blushed as he had understood her anger by her voice. She replied. "Mai kahan gussa thi... kuch bhi soch lete hai."
"Achcha nahi thi gussa..." He asserted her.
"Nahi thi." She opposed.
"To phir mai raat ko call nahi karunga." He said to scare her.
"Kyo nahi karenge?" She asked in a grumpy voice, then she thought something. "Theek hai phir jab aap vapas aayenge na to mai bhi aapse baat nahi karungi dekh lena, aur bilkul nahi manungi chahe aap kitna bhi manaye." She annoyed at him and complained cutely.
"Dekha... phir se gussa ho gayi... Accept your feeling my dear wife before it's too late." And purposely disconnected the call so that she deciphered the reason for saying this.
