In the previous chapter, you had known, Sameer and Naina's alliance was settled with the consent of their family and their engagement and wedding dates were fixed. So let's start the chapter.

Sameer was chasing Naina in a garden and Naina was running out of his grip. They had been playing the game of running and chasing for 10 minutes. When Sameer was about to catch her, Naina started running more faster.

The garden was very beautiful and it looked more attractive due to the gentle sunshine of the morning, and made the environment more pleasant, as the birds were twittering everywhere. The fragrance of flowers made the garden romantic. And in this romantic atmosphere, they were both playing their respective game.

Sameer look dam handsome in a black shirt paired with dark blue trouser and his eyes fixed only one person that was his Naina.

Naina wore a blue saree without make up. Her hair was open and she looked gorgeous. Her pallu was floating in the air. Her smile and glance were more dazzling and more attractive that he was mesmerised on her look.

"Naina please ruk jao...dekho mai aakhari baar kah raha hun." He said with panting heavily.

But Naina did not listen to him and continued her run. After a while Sameer collided with a tree and loudly hissed in pain with holding on his knee. Naina reached him for just a second. She caressed his knee with asking how he was feeling but he grabbed her wrist.

Naina was shocked then a few moment later she realised his lie.

"Sameer ye to cheating hai." And she showed fake annoyance.

"Pyaar me sab jayaj hai madam." And winked her.

She replied mischievously "to phir."

Before he could understand what she said, she pushed him a little, causing him to stumble. His grip loosened, and she was about to run away, but he grabbed her again and pulled her towards him with a jerk, that's her hands landed directly on his chest.

"Mujhse se dur jane ka khyal bhi apne dil me mat lana aur tum kitni bhi koshish karlo... mujhse dur jaa hi nahi sakti." He whispered while lightly grazing his fingers on her soft cheek.

She shivered of his touch and her lashes downed of shyness. He hooked his fingers under her chin and made her face to look him.

Now she was look into his deep brown eyes directly with some unknown passion that made his eyes turn dark. She held his face with her both palm as she was fascinated by his dark eyes. She raised her toe and tilted his face down. His heart raced wildly as she was getting close to his face and just an inch away remained, he closed his eyes to feel her soft touch on his lips but someone shook him and he opened his eyes. Then he looked around to surprisingly, there was no Naina, no flowers and no bench. He found himself in his room on his bed instead of a garden and Deepika was waking him up. He realised it was the dream and he was furious to break his dream then he roared loudly at Deepika. "Deepikaaa...Ye kya tarika hua uthane ka?"

"Wo mummy ne kaha tha isliye uthaya aapko ...jaldi se ready ho ke aaiye, mummy ne kaha hai aaj shopping pe jayenge... engagement ki, bas usi ke liye utha rahi thi..." She firstly answered him while ignoring his anger, then she made a pout face and turned her face.

"Awww... Deepu gussa ho gai." Sameer chuckled.

He got up from bed, went to her back and grabbed her hand, tickled her waist. She could not control her and broke down in laughter while stopping him. He took advantage of her condition "to mani meri deepu... ya abhi aur manana padega."

"Maan gai... maan gai...ab aap jaldi aaiye." She ran from the room when his grip loosened.

He ruffled his silky hair with a smirk while recalling his dream and approached the bathroom.

As a week had passed since Sameer return from Ahmedabad, he was busy with three back to back meetings and its preparations for an entire week. Today was Sunday and he was in the mood to rest all day, so he was sleeping till after 8 am. But his plan had failed by Deepika as woke up him and ruined his beautiful dream. He was angry at first but immediately melted seeing his sister's excitement and heard the about the engagement shopping.

Sameer had handed over all the arrangements for the engagement to Munna and he had even decided the place while talk to Sameer. As Aanand first wanted to get engaged in his society, then thinking about Sameer's family and relatives, he left the decision to Sameer for decided the place. Munna had booked an open marriage hall as the engagement was scheduled to take place in the evening. Everything had been settled, invitations had been given, and everyone was eagerly waiting for that auspicious day, especially Sameer and Naina. It was getting difficult for them to wait. Both used to talk for hours at night.

Ever since their relationship was fixed, Sameer used to call Naina anytime during the day, on the pretext of preparing for the engagement. Sometimes Bela would pick up the phone, sometimes Anand and teasing would give the phone to Naina and she would run away to her room in embarrassment, leaving behind her chacha ji and chachi ji. They were both very happy for Naina because for the first time it seemed that Naina was laughing openly and enjoying life.

Naina also went shopping for her engagement with Bela and taiji as today was Sunday and she was free for the whole day. They first went for clothes shopping and Naina selected a red colour saree to wear for the engagement. Taiji did not like her choice and chose for a yellow saree but this time Naina directly denied her choice. Taiji was shocked to see her such courage to refuse her choice. After selecting the outfits for everyone, they returned home in the evening.

Naina didn't take the engagement ring because Sameer had decided that they would go together to chose their engagement ring when he came at Ahmadabad. As he was supposed to come two days before the engagement.

Later in the evening she dialed to someone number and hearing her voice, she replied in a chirpy voice "hello di, kaise ho aap."

"Nainaa..., itne dinon baad yaad aayi meri." Priya complained in a sweet voice.

"Aap to hamesha yaad aati ho... aaj aapko ek good news deni hai... lekin aap pahle guess karo." Naina requested.

"Zarur tera result aaya hoga aur tune top kiya hoga." Priya guessed but Naina refused and said try again.

"Kahi tumhari marriage to nahi ho rahi." And hearing Priya guess was right, she blushed deeply.

Naina whispered slowly "yes di."

Priya was surprised, she had nonchantly guessed, whenever she tried to ask Naina about marriage, Naina always avoided the subject and she had felt that Naina was not interested in marriage right now. But hearing her yes, she was shocked, it was unexpected for her.

"Kya??.. lekin ye sab.. kaise hua aur kab?... aur ladka kaun hai?.. kya karta hai?" Priya asked her in one go.

"Abhi ek hafte pahle hi, jijaji ke friend hai." Naina answered.

"Achha...Naam kya hai ladke ka?." Priya asked cheerfully.

"Ye to aap jab engagement me aaoge tab dekhana... surprise hai aapke liye." Naina did not disclose her that the boy was Sameer.

"Kya Naina?... matlab mai janti hun?...kaun hai?." But Naina did not give her any hint and invited her for both engagement and wedding.

"Naina... mujhe tere engagement me aane ka bahut mann tha but sorry... mai nahi aa paungi kyonki Shekhar ko office ke kam se out of station jana hai next week, to possible nahi hoga, bachhe aur ghar ko bhi sambhalna hai... par wada shaadi me zarur aaungi tera surprise dekhana jo hai... tab tak bas sochate rahungi kon hoga... yaar ek hint hi de de." Priya apologized for not attending her engagement and inquired for knowing about the boy.

As Naina knew her curiosity, she once thought, to tell her Sameer's name but discarded her idea as she wanted to see her reaction when she saw Sameer.

Next day Naina told about her engagement to her school friends. They were delighted to know the good news and teased her for her marriage.

"Naina tu to badi tej nikli yaar sidhe sagai ki date bata rahi hai, hame to kuch khabar hi nahi lagne diya, kab ladke wale tujhe dekhane aaye aur rishta fix hua... vaise ladka karta kya hai." Anuradha asked in a concern voice.

"Unka textiles ka business hai... Ahmadabad aur Delhi me." Naina told in a normal voice as she did not want to show her excitement.

Everyone teased her talking about her upcoming engagement and future groom but she kept her facial expressions normal.

Similarly another week passed and Sameer came back to Ahmedabad with Deepika. Sameer had returned at night two days before the engagement. As his parents and Rohan were to come the day before the engagement. The next morning he went to see the arrangement with Munna as he insisted him on seeing the arrangement. When Sameer saw the arrangement. Sameer suggested changes in some things and decoration. He spent half a day in the marriage hall, then he quick trip to his office as he was going to be busy for the engagement the next few days.

When he returned in the evening, Deepika was angry at him that he had not fulfilled his promise to meet her to Naina. He couldn't understand why she was angry with him as he had forgotten his promise.

"Kya hua deepu?... aise kyo baithi ho?." When he found out that she had not came out of her room after lunch, and he sprinted to her room.

"Kyonki aapne apna promise pura nahi kiya... isliye aapse naraz hun." Deepika said with puffed face.

"Lekin kyo!!!...maine kaun sa promise pura nahi kiya?." He was perplexed and think what's the matter.

"Bhabhi se milwane ka... ab aap jab tak mujhe unse milane nahi le jayenge mai dinner nahi karungi." She was adamant to meet Naina.

Hearing her complain he smashed mentally himself, that how he forgot it and seeing her stubbornness, Sameer was feel helpless. As He had tried to convince her that he would take her tomorrow as it was above 6 in the evening. But she was still adamant on meeting Naina. He finally surrenders and dialed Naina's number.

"Namaste chacha ji.... wo Naina se milna tha... matlab meri bahan abhi Naina se milna chahati hai.. agar aap ki permission hogi tabhi hum aayenge." He requested to Aanand with hesitantly when phone received by Aanand.

"Sameer tumhe permission ki zarurat nahi hai, jab chahe tab tum aa sakte ho... par meri bhi ek shart hai, dinner hamare saath karna hoga." Aanand accepted his request in a politely way and put a condition.

Sameer first denied Aanand's offer for dinner but Aanand continuous insisting, he agreed his dinner request and he and Deepika left within 15 minutes for Naina's house.

"Andar aao beta " Aanand welcomed Sameer and Deepika when opened the door as heard doorbell sound.

Sameer touched his feet and Deepika did the same. As they settled at the couch, Aanand called Bela to serve them for water and juices. Sameer touched Bela feet when she came into the hall. Aanand had already told Bela to prepare dinner for them but he had not told Naina that Sameer was coming home, he wanted to surprise her. He called out Naina in the hall.

Naina came in the hall and her steps halted to see Sameer sitting with a girl. She was shocked to see Sameer as she did not expect him in her house this hours and their eyes met, they both lost each other. She came back her sense when Bela shook her shoulder to give a tray her. She hold the tray of tea and moved slowly towards the couch. At first she gave the tea to Deepika, then Sameer and Aanand.

"Naina ye Deepika hai...Sameer ki bahan." Aanand introduce Naina to Deepika.

"Kaisi ho Deepika..." Naina asked in a sweet voice and sat next to her.

Sameer smiled at her loving gestured to Deepika. He looked at her without blink as he was seeing her after a long time. He wanted to take her in his arms, but he suppressed his desire.

"Deepika ab chup kyo ho... yahi to hai tumhari Naina bhabhi jisse milne ke liye tum mujh se naraz thi" and he looked at Naina. "tum se milne ke liye ghar me muh phula ke baithi thi, jab mai hamari engagement ki arrangement dekh kar aaya, isne to dhamki bhi di ki tumse mile bina dinner nahi karegi... isliye itni sham ko aana pada." Sameer told about Deepika's anger. He spoke openly to Naina in the presence of Aanand.

Deepika rolled her eyes at Sameer "haan... Kyonki aapne bhi apna promise pura nahi kiya tha... yahan aane ke baad aapko bas kam hi dikhai de raha tha... pata hai bhabhi, kabhi kabhi Delhi me to bhaiya der raat ko office se ghar aate the, jab hum sab dinner kar ke so chuke hote the." Deepika complained about Sameer.

"Sameer ye to galat baat hai...Jab aapne Deepika se promise kiya tha to pura karna chahiye tha... iska gussa hona jayaj hai." Naina supported Deepika.

"Naina...tum bhi Deepika ka saath de rahi ho ise samjhane ki jagah." Sameer whined.

Aanand saw them talking freely and was surprised to see their progress in their relationship and smiled heartily to see their loving banter. Naina engrossed in chitchat with Deepika. Sameer looked at her the corner of his eyes as Aanand asked him about preparation for engagement.

After sometime Naina took Deepika to her room, leaving Sameer with Anand because Sameer's attention was more on her than Aanand's words and she did not want Aanand to notice all this. He was disappointed when she left but he focused his mind into Aanand talk.

As soon as their conversation was over, Sameer thought seeing the polybag, which he had brought with him.

"Chacha ji mummy ne ye saree bheji hai Naina ke liye, to aap kya use bula denge?" He asked hesitantly.

"Isme bulana kya hai?...Uske room me jakar de do... tab tak mai Rakesh bhaiya ko dekh ke aata hun." Aanand just replied simply and nodded his head when he asked the direction.

Sameer slowly approached her room. He pushed the door slightly and glad to see the Deepika and Naina laughing on something. He was happy to see their bond in this short period. Seeing her cute smile, he mesmerized on her and he felt her smile like a glimpse of heaven for him. He adored her smiling figure and observed her cute nose which scrunched and her deep eyes narrowed when she had laughed in a loud.

"Aur batao na...tumhare bhaiya ke baare..." Naina asked cheerfully.

As Sameer heard her question and he came out of her spell. He gasped when he knew they both laughed on something, that had related to him. He cleared his throat as try to attention their to him while stepping inside the room. Naina quickly got up from the bed when heard his coughing and turned her face towards the door.

"Aa.. aap kab aaye... kuch kam tha." Naina asked nervously.

"Tabhi jab tum dono meri burai kar rahi thi..." He chuckled.

"Nahi hum to aisa kuch bhi nahi kar rahe the." Naina said in a low voice while looking at Deepika as she noticed a glint into his eyes.

"Achha... to phir Deepika se kya puch rahi thi" He asked mischievously in low husky voice but immediate changed his tone normal as Deepika was present here and handed to her the polybag "Naina suno...mummy ne ye sagun ki saree di hai tumhare liye... agar tumhe pasand aaye to... kya tum... sagai me ye saree pahanogi... if only you liked it." Sameer requested looking deeply into her eyes and Naina too lost in his dark browny. But Deepika loud voice broke their eye lock and brought them back to their senses.

"Bhaiya aap ka kam ho gaya to please bahar jaiye na mujhe bhabhi se abhi bahut sari baatein karni hai." Deepika asked innocently.

"Achha...Bhabhi ke milte hi bhaiya ko bhul gayi... dalbadlu." Sameer said while hit Deepika head.

"Kya jaadu kar diya hai tumne, meri bahan pe...Jo tumse dur hi nahi jana chah rahi." Sameer whispered leaning to her ears and he left the room, leaving behind blushing Naina.

Just before dinner Rakesh entered the house. Sameer took his blessings as touched his feet. After asking well-being, everyone sat on the dinning chair for dinner. Sameer wanted Naina to sit together but she refused to say that she would to help Bela.

Naina served the meal to Sameer and Deepika. When Naina was giving chapati to Sameer, he grabbed her left hand tightly under the table. She tried to wringgle her hand from his grip but his clasp more stronger. She pleaded through her eyes but he smirked. After a while he loosened his grip and Naina quickly pulled her hand. She glared at him and Sameer gave an innocent smile to her.

After dinner when Sameer and Deepika about to leave, taiji entered with abruptly and bumped to Sameer. And he was about to fall but Naina immediately held his back as support to him and Aanand too held his one hand for preventing to fall him.

Rakesh roared at taiji "bhabhi ji dekh kar nahi chal sakti... kya rajdhani express jaise yahan se vahan phudkati rahti hai... abhi Sameer ko lag jati to."

But taiji ignored Rakesh and asked to Sameer "tum kab aaye aur ye kaun hai?."

Sameer touched her feet and replied "taiji ye meri choti bahan hai Deepika." And he gestured to Deepika for touch her feet and she touched. "taiji Deepika, Naina se milna chahati thi to bas milne aaye the."

"Haan... thik hai... tumhare mummy papa nahi aaye." She asked as ignored his reply.

"Taiji wo kal raat ko aayenge.... Achha ab hum chalate hai." But suddenly something stuck in his mind and he turned to Aanand.

"Chacha ji humne engagement ring abhi tak final nahi kiya hai... to kya mai Naina ko kal apne saath le ja sakta hun." Sameer asked looking at Naina.

Aanand agreed with a big smile to see Naina blush.

"To thik hai chacha ji mai thik 9 baje aa jaunga..." And turned to Naina "tum ready rahna." Naina nodded her head and avoided looking in his gaze.

Sameer and Deepika left the house. Taiji envious to see Naina blushed face and she thought, how to stopped the engagement.

On the way back to home, Sameer asked "to kaisi lagi tumhari bhabhi."

"Bahut pyari hai... aur bahut achhi bhi... unhone feel hi nahi hone diya ki mai unse first time mil rahi hun... " Deepika genuinely showed her feeling for Naina.

Sameer felt proud as he had loved and choose a perfect girl who knew how to respect all elders and she gave love to younger. He smiled with think she was a perfect combination of beauty with brain.

But his thought broken by her next complain.
"par mai aapse ab bhi naraz hun."

He was perplexed, why she still angry him as he fulfilled his promise. "Tumhe Naina se mila to diya phir ab kyo?."

"Because you hiding me that you both love each other's." Deepika said in a hurt tone.

Sameer was stunned to hear Deepika and wondered if Naina told her.

"Naina ne kaha" He asked as cleared his confusion.

"Nahi...aap ne khud kaha" She chuckled.

"kab kaha maine." He was shocked and instantly replied while remembered, maybe he had told her.

"Aapki aankhon ne kaha.. jis tarah se aap bhabhi ko dekh rahe the, aapki aankhen sab kuch kah rahi thi, unko dekhkar muskurana, unko dekhate hi aapke expression change ho jana aur unke liye apki aankhon me pyaar dekha aur bhabhi se openly baat karna jo shayad aaj tak aapne kisi aur ladki se ki hogi... saath hi Naina bhabhi ka aap ki baatein sunkar sharma jana... iska proof hai... mai aapko achhe se janti hun bhaiya, Delhi ki partiyon me aap hamesha ladkiyo se dur hi rahte the...mummy ke force karne par bhi kabhi attention nahi dete the...aur suddenly aapne yahan aake ek ladki pasand kar li aur to aur marriage ke liye bhi ready ho gaye... jiske liye mummy kab se aapke pichhe padi thi.... mai koi chhoti bachhi nahi hun jo mujhe kuch samjh nahi aayega.... ab aap sach sach bataiye ye sach hai na." Deepika asked with excitement.

"Haan meri maa... par ye baat tum kisi ko nahi bataogi, promise me." He admitted they both love together and took a promise from her that she would not tell anyone.

He feared if Deepika came to know that he loved Naina, then she could reveal the truth to anyone. That's why he didn't tell her about his love.

Next morning, Sameer was about to go to Naina house but Deepika insisted on accompanying him again. He took Deepika with him and on the way he stopped at Munna's house. Deepika asked why he stayed here.

"Aaj tumhe mai tumhari ek aur bhabhi se milane wala hun... aur unka ek chotu sa baby bhi hai... tumhe uske saath dekhana hai.?" Sameer asked Deepika and she smiled widely. "To chalo phir."

They both entered the house, Munna delighted to see Sameer and Deepika. First he made sit both on the sofa, then he called his mother and wife. After sometime chatting, Sameer said "Deepika tum Nihal ke saath khelo, mai jab vapas aaunga tab hum ghar chalenge... lekin tum bhabhi ko ya baby ko pareshan mat karna." Looked at Munna's wife "bhabhi iska dhyan rakhiyega."

"Aap fikr mat kijiye Sameer bhaiya... Deepika ko koi taklif nahi hogi... aap aaram se aaiye apni Naina se milke, koi disturb nahi karega." Shalini teased him.

Sameer blushed and gave some instruction to Deepika. When ensured from Munna, he left for Naina's house. As he wanted to spent some time alone with Naina. He left to Deepika at the Munna's house, so that he would not worry about her.

As Deepika was a teenage girl who studied in 11th standard. She was no longer a baby, but for Sameer she was still his little cutie Deepu.

On the other side Naina had ready and was waiting to Sameer. Then taiji came wearing a new saree. Everyone looked her with perplexed. But their confusion vanished when to listen her.

"Naina Sameer ke saath akeli nahi jayegi mai bhi jaungi dono ke saath." Taiji declared her decision.

Naina stunned and did not know how to reacted in her unexpected announcement. Aanand also shocked to hear her words.

"Bhabhi ji ye aap kya kah rahi hai...Sameer bura maan gaya to ... ki hame uspe vishwas nahi hai." Aanand tried to convince her for not go with them.

"Do din ki mulakat me itna vishwas kar liya Aanand babu aapne uss ladke par ki apni beti ko akele uske saath bhej denge, aur vaise bhi abhi us se koi rishta juda nahi hai... kal ko kuch unch neech ho gai to kaun jawab dega...Hamne biradari se bahar shaadi karne ke aapke faisale ko maana hai to kuch baatein hamari aap ko bhi manni hogi, chahe wo pasand ho ya na ho." Taiji said with a strict face and stern voice, eyeing to Naina.

Aanand was unanswered and he looked at Naina with helpless look. Naina also got disappointed as she knew Sameer mood would get spoil when he knew taiji accompanying them. But she could not object taiji.

After 9 in the morning, Sameer arrived at Naina's society with a gleeful smile as they were both going to meet alone after a long time and that too with the consent of her family. Seeing Naina standing with her taiji and Aanand, he came out of the car. He touched Aanand and taiji's feet and looked at Naina who wore a simple yellow suit with a green dupatta.

"Chale Naina." He offered her politely.

He opened the passenger seat door for her, but his smile turned into frown to see taiji sat down on the back seat with Naina. Sameer once glanced over Aanand face who gave him a small smile. Sameer too gave a smile him but it faded. He sat on the driver's seat. He was frustrated that taiji was with them. He felt as if someone had stabbed him in the back. He thought all his wishes got washed away in the water. He angrily hit a hard punch on the steering wheel.

Naina flinched as heard his hiss into pain. She wanted to soothe his pain with her touch but she was compelled to sat with her taiji and she felt helpless not to calm his raging anger. As soon as she gave him a sweet smile when he adjusted the rear view mirror focus on her and she gestured to him to cool down his anger.

Sameer felt some relax seeing her pretty smile and started the engine to reach his destination. Within 20 minutes they reached out of a jewellery shop due to his jet speed driving. Fear was clearly visible on taiji's face now as they sat at the shop, she had not recovered from her horrific journey.

"madam ke liye ek ring dikhaiye." Sameer ordered when an employee approached them and asked what they want.

"Yes sir... two minutes please, hamare shop ki latest design mangwata hun." The man said in a politely.

"Okay." Sameer smiled.

Just then a old man entered the shop and saw Sameer with a grin. He approached him.

"How are you young man." The man asked while touch his shoulder.

Sameer turned his face and beamed to see the man. "Fine Parekh uncle... aap kaise hai."

"I am always fine my son... par tumhe kitne salon baad dekh raha hun, kahan the bhai itne saal... Jaiprakash ke jane ke baad to tumne iss shahar se hi nata tod liya tha..." But Mr. Parekh stopped to see Sameer became sad. He changed the topic.

"Chodo beeti baatein... yahan meri shop pe kaise aana hua.." Mr. Parekh asked as glance at Naina who stood beside him.

"Wo... Engagement ring choose karne aaye hai." Looking at Naina he answered.

"Kya baat hai...Tum shaadi kar rahe ho." Mr. Parekh chuckled but thought something and said "Are mai bhi na...dekho to ab bhulne ki bimari ho gai hai, tumhara invitation to mila hai... Congratulations my son... by the way wo khushnasib...hai kaun."

Sameer gestured towards Naina "uncle ye hai Naina...Naina Agarwal... aur yeh Naina ki taiji Bina Agrawal." And Naina touched Mr. Parekh feet. He gave her blessing.

"Yaar tumne to ladki bahut achhi pasand ki hai... vaise sach batana arrange marriage hai ya phir...love marriage." Mr. Parekh asked with playfully.

Naina gasped to hear Mr. Parekh as taiji with them, her face turned immediate towards taiji to see her expression. Taiji stood with shocked face and her eyes widened but her face became normal to hear Sameer.

"Uncle aap bhi... Off course arrange marriage hai... family ki pasand se ho rahi hai." Sameer somehow managed himself before answer as he had too shocked but feared of how taiji would react on this matter. He knew if she had any doubt means their alliance would be end.

"Koi ring pasand aayi." Mr. Parekh asked.

"Abhi tak dekhi nahi hai." Sameer replied.

"To phir dekho tab tak mai ander dekh ke aata hun." Mr. Parekh left them.

After 15 minutes Sameer selected a ring for Naina but at the same time taiji showed Naina a ring and insisted to chose it. But Naina chose that Sameer liked. It was a simple ring and had a small diamond emabled it centre. Taiji face dropped and she was cursed her mentally to eyeing corner of her eyes. After Naina's ring selected, Naina had chosen a gold ring for him that was curved S latter with the platinum on the center. Sameer beamed to see ring, it's looked very elegant and simple.

Once the rings final Sameer requested her "Naina tum ab na ek necklace set select karlo... mummy ne kaha tha sagun me wo jo set tumhe dengi, wo tumhari pasand ka ho."

"Iss sab ki kya zarurat hai Sameer... mujhe nahi chahiye." Naina protested.

"Naina ye to sagun hota hai jab Sameer kah raha hai to pasand kar le na." Taiji scolded her.

Sameer face sulked as she was refused then Naina select a lightweight set to made him happy. Sameer eyes lit up as she finally choose a necklace set like her simple and elegant.

After coming out of the shop Sameer wanted to spend sometime with her but he couldn't get any chance while taiji was with them. He sat down in the driving seat with disappointedly. He had just reached few shop away and turned into another lane, he stopped the car at sudden. Before Naina could say anything, he asked.

"Naina wo ring dikhana jo maine tumhare liye select kiya hai." He turned his face to back.

Naina handed the packet, Sameer looked at the ring keenly and shouted "Naina isme to defect hai..." He showed ring to Naina "Ye dekho diamond thoda sahi nahi laga hai kabhi bhi nikal sakta hai, humne ise abhi change karana hoga... tum chalo mere saath, taiji aap tab tak car me hi baithiye hum abhi aate hai... wo kya hai na rasta bahut chota hai aur aapne bhi to dekha tha, kitni mushkil hui thi shop ke bahar car reverse karne me... aur aap kahan utni door chal kar jayengi aap aaram se yahan baithiye mai aur Naina abhi aate hai... chalo Naina." He ordered her while open the door.

Taiji reluctantly agreed with Sameer.

Naina followed him, once they turned into other lane and away of taiji sight. Sameer stopped and pulled Naina towards him. Naina looked at him with confusion.

"Sameer aap ruk kyo gaye jaldi chaliye phir hame vapas bhi jana hai, der hogi to taiji ko shaq ho jayega." Naina requested.

"Naina tumhe kya laga ring sach me defect hai... no chance puri tarah se dekh ke select kiya tha...ye to tumhare saath time bitane ka bahana tha...ab chalo jaldi se iss shop ke andar, nahi to kisi ne dekh liya to ho gai sagai." Sameer dragged her.

"Lekin... ye to saree ki shop hai" Naina dazed to see the shop.

"Haan isliye to kaha chalo." Sameer was pulling her inside.

Once they entered the shop, Sameer selected some saree and asked her to try it in the trial room. Naina shook her head in no but Sameer lovingly ordered her to try.

She strode near the trial room and was about to go inside, Sameer also stepped inside with her, when he saw no one around there and had found a perfect chance to spend time with her. Naina looked at him with horror. But Sameer stood silently in the corner, leaned on the wall and gazed at her fondly. She first wanted to get him out of the trial room but she melted to see the softness in his eyes. She blushed as wore the first saree over her dress and looked at Sameer. He twisted his mouth. She tried another saree but Sameer didn't like it either. And Sameer slowly came to her, picked up a saree and covered her head with that saree. He stood behind her and looked at her with his deep eyes through the mirror. She lowered her eyelashes and red hue spreaded over her cheeks. Her heart was racing and her breath came quickly. Sameer made turn her to him and he touched her face gently, the slightest smile crossing his face. Then he grazed his fingers on her cheeks and his fingers stopped at the corners of her lips, he lightly stroked her right cheek upwards then flicked her nose and turned his face to the other side. He left the room saying "tum baki sarees try kar lo mai bahar wait kar raha hun."

Naina had a shiver rundown in her spine when he had light brushed on her face but when his fingers stopped near her lips, her heart had thumped loudly in anticipation of his next move and the current had passed from her head to toe. When he left the room she shocked of his sudden exit and she thought did he get angry with me about anything?. But she tried to avoid this thought from her mind and heart. And she calmed down her heart and touched her cheeks it's was heated up.

Sameer also pacified his desire, as he wanted to feel her soft cheek on his lips. But he had stopped, as always, seeing a hesitation in her eyes and he had taken his steps back and had buried his desire in his heart and waiting for right time.

Later ten minutes, Naina came out of the trial room with select two sarees. One was what Sameer made wear her and the other was a pink saree that was his favourite colour. She observed Sameer behavior towards her and that was normal even he gave her a loving smile. She felt a calmness in her mind. When they reached counter Sameer paid the amount of the sarees.

He snatched the shopping bag from her hand when they came out of the shop. "Mujhe do taiji ne tumhare hath me dekha to sawal karegi."

As soon as they settled in the car, taiji asked why they became late...And Sameer answered that shop was crowded so they were late. Now his face shone with a glowing smile as he spent short time with her but it was precious for him.

Preet and Pandit arrived at the Ahmedabad by late night flight. Naina delighted to see Preeti but she got angry with them, why they came only one day before her engagement.

"Preeti mai na tujhse gussa hun... koi aise ek din pahle aata hai?, mujhe tujhse baat nahi karni." Naina made a pout.

"Mera bas chalata to kab ki aa jati lekin tere jijaji ko to chutti hi nahi milti." Preeti tried to convince her while hug her.

"Are meri taraf bhi dhyan de do kab se line me khada hun..." Pandit said as kept down their bags and Naina hugged him.

"Sorry Naina... aana to hum log bhi pahle hi chahate the, par last time me ek urgent project aa gaya tha... lekin shaadi me pakka ek week pahle aayenge." Pandit assured her while caress her hair.

Sameer's parents also reached the house with Rohan at night. Sameer and Deepika were elated to see them. After the refresh, everyone had dinner, with the discussion of the next day's program and preparation.

That night they both could not call each other's as Naina was busy with Preeti and Sameer with Rohan.

"Sameer mai bhi Deepika ki tarah tum se naraz hun, tumne mujhe bhabhi se abhi tak nahi milwaya hai..." Rohan said to him as pulling his leg.

"Isme milana kya hai... kal dekh lena engagement ke time, Deepika se maine promise kiya tha aur mujhse naraz bhi thi isliye use milwaya tha... Ab tum bhi uski tarah jid karne mat lag jana... wo to bachhi hai, par tum to samajhadar ho." Sameer annoyed at his sudden complaining and was going out of the room.

But Rohan made him sit again bed and smiled "Arre tum to gussa ho gaye... mai to bas mazak kar raha tha."

"To mai kon sa tumse sachchi ka naraz hun... agar tum pahle aate to tum bhi Naina se mil lete... but ab tumhe kal tak ka wait karna padega." Sameer gave him a smile.

"Thik hai...Ab tumhari pasand se milne ke liye kal sham tak ka wait karenge...I sure wo bhi tumhari tarah hogi... tabhi to tum apna dil har baithe the." Rohan teased him and Sameer face flushed as remembered the trial room incident.

Sameer came to hall after completed his morning chores, he saw Munna sat with his wife. He was surprised to see them in the morning and approached them.

"Munna itni subah kaise aur wo bhi bhabhi ke saath... Engagement to sham ko hai." Sameer asked with confused face.

"Munna aur Shalini dono ko maine bulaya hai... sham ki taiyari me help karne ke liye." Vishakha replied who sat near them.

"Kaise taiyari mummy.." Sameer asked looking towards Vishakha.

"Tere sagai ki...kya kya dena hai sagun me, isliye..." Addressed to Shalini "maine kuch preparation kar ke rakha hai... Shalini chalo tum dekh lena, koi kami to nahi hai."

"Haan...mausi ji...chaliye... lekin." Looked at her son Shalini said "pata nahi ye Nihal karne dega ki nahi."

Just then Deepika came and taking Nihal out of Shalini hands "bhabhi aap aaram se mummy ki help kariye Nihal ko mai sambhal lungi."

"Deepika tum kaise Nihal ko sambhal paogi... tumhe kahan aata hai chote bachcho ko sambhalna... tum se nahi hoga beta." Vishakha showed her concern for baby.

"Mummy aap nahi janti...Nihal mere saath kitna khush rahta hai, aur rota bhi nahi hai... hai na bhabhi." Deepika prouded herself and raised her imaginary collar for her achievement.

Vishakha was surprised and Shalini told about yesterday when Deepika visited to her home and had played with her son. Deepika delicately grabbed the baby and the child was also enjoying her company. Vishakha smiled to see her daughter with little baby and allowed Deepika to take care Nihal. Vishakha and Shalini were busy preparation for engagement.

Munna left for the marriage hall to look last time arrangement. Sameer had informed him he would come after breakfast.

Naina showed Preeti the saree that Sameer had given two days ago. She asked Preeti which one she wore.

"Naina mujhe to dono saree hi achhi lag rahi hai... ab tu hi decide kar tujhe kya pahanana hai... haan itna zarur kahungi Sameer ki pasand ko bhi dhyan rakh lena." Preeti made it easier for her to take a decision.

Naina once saw the sarees and finally choose a saree. Naina glanced at her palm to see her mehandi and sniffed her palm to assimilate it's smell. Preeti teased her to see dark coloured mehendi on her palm. " Kahte hai mehendi ka colour dark ho to husband bahut pyaar karne wala milta hai...par tere case me to jijaji pahle se hi tujhse bahut pyaar karte hai apni jaan se bhi jyada, to colour to gahra aana hi tha... vaise tere gaal bhi mehendi ke colour ko competition de rahe hai." Then Preeti left her in the room blushing and went to help her mother.

As soon as Preeti came out of the room, collided with her husband and he informed her that he was going to meet Sameer and he would come back within two hours. Preeti gladly permitted him after warn him return on the time.

Arjun had come for his sister's engagement. He was elated as finally his sister was getting engaged to someone who would at least get her out of this situation where she always listened taunt and he would bring happiness in her life which she deserved. And Arjun was eager to meet Sameer as he had heard his praise and polite nature from Aanand.

He entered Naina's room and touched her head softly and she came out of her trance as she was thinking about Sameer's immense love for her.

"Bhaiya aap... kuch chahiye tha." Naina asked.

"Tu khush to hai na iss rishtey... kahi tune kisi ke dabaw me to ye faisala nahi liya na." Arjun asked with concern to her.

"Nahi bhaiya... maine apni marzi se haan kaha hai, mai iss rishtey se khush hun." Naina replied with heavy voice and her eyes moistened to see her brother concern for her.

"Chal ab jaldi se ready ho ja...mai papa aur chacha ji ki help kar deta hun." Arjun walked out of the room.

Sameer was ready to go to venue for see the arrangement, just then Vishakha asked him to drop Shalini at her home. He agreed, then he saw Pandit entering the house. He took a few steps towards him. Pandit rushed to him and hugged him tightly.

Vishakha and Shalini saw them surprisingly and Rohan was amazed to see them while coming down the stairs. Deepika came with Nihal as Vishakha called out her.

Sameer broke the hug and introduce Pandit to everyone seeing their shocked face. "Mammy Ye Pandit hai... mera bachpan ka dost, shayad aapko Pandit ka face yaad nahi hai " He introduced everyone to Pandit. " Pandit tu to mammy ko janta hi hai, aur ye Deepika, ye Rohan " looked at Shalini "aur ye hai hamari bhabhi yani hamare dost Munna ki wife...Shalini bhabhi."

Pandit at first touched Vishakha feet and when he knew about Shalini, he bent down to touch her feet. But Shalini stopped him as said she was like his little sister. He happily accepted her request. When he glanced over Sameer who was ready to go somewhere.

"Sameer tu aaj bhi office ja raha hai...Ye kya baat hui, yaar aaj ke din to chhutti kar leta." Pandit said with a frown.

"Office nahi ja raha...Munna ne arrangement dekhne bulaya hai vahi ja raha hun...tu bhi chal Munna se mil lena... khush ho jayega." Sameer said with a warm smile.

"Mai yahan ghar pe akele baith kar kya karunga... chalo mai bhi tumhare saath chalata hun." Rohan proposed.

"Haan chal tu bhi... pahle bhabhi ko ghar chodenge phir chalenge..." Sameer added seeing Shalini "bhabhi aap hamare saath uncomfortable to nahi hongi na."

"Nahi houngi... aap sab to mere bhai jaise hai... aur Munna ne mujhe pahle hi aap longo ki dosti ke baare me bata diya tha." Shalini agreed happily with Sameer.

"Mai apni car se aaya hun...usme mai aur Rohan chalte hai ... aur tu apni car se bhabhi ko chod dena." Pandit suggested a idea.

Vishakha reminded Sameer to return home early, when they were all about to leave. Sameer assured her he would be back on the time.

The trio reached venue after dropped Shalini and Nihal. Sameer wanted to give a surprise to Munna. So he came alone to Munna and after some discussion he ordered him closed his eyes.

"Munna jab tak mai na kahu tu aankhe mat kholana." Sameer strictly ordered him and gestured Pandit and Rohan to come, as they both were hiding behind the pillers.

"Kya Sameer tujhe bhi abhi mazak sujh raha hai, dekh kitna kaam bacha hai." Munna protested him while closing eyes.

As Pandit was in front of Munna, Sameer said Munna to open his eyes. Munna was surprised to see Pandit and he could not control himself, he hugged Pandit. After a few moments Sameer also hugged them. Rohan admired their bond which was genuine and pure friendship.

"Sameer....sach me yaar tune bahut bada surprise de diya... iss ponga se mil ke bachapan ki yaadein taza ho gai." Munna said while wiped his tears.

"Aur tune jo mere liye kiya hai uske samne to ye kuch bhi nahi hai." Sameer said a bit emotional voice.

"Chal ab jyada senti mat kar aur jaa bahar garden ki decoration dekh ke aa kuch change chahiye to bata dena sab arrange karwa dunga." Munna tried to change the topic.

"Tune sab achhe se kiya hai, kahi koi kami nahi hai, par mai teri tasalli ke liye dekh leta hun." Sameer felt proud on him as he was selfless doing all the work.

Sameer and Rohan had gone to see the decoration. Munna and Pandit started talking about their family.

"Pandit mai tujhe kaise thank you kahu samajh nahi aa raha hai... aaj teri vajah se hi Sameer itna khush hai, vah phir se zindagi jeene laga hai, uske bejan duniya phir se rango se bhar gayi hai aur ye sab hua hai sirf tere vajah se... tune Sameer ko uski Naina uski zindagi de diya...Sameer Nana ji ke jane ke baad puri tarah se tut gaya tha, jaise uske liye koi nahi tha, bhale hi time ke saath usne apne aap ko sambhal liya tha par uske aankhon me ek khalipan tha jo Naina ke aate hi dur ho gai hai... bas ab yahi wish hai ki Sameer ke chehare ki ye hasi kabhi kam na ho." Munna opened his heart to him, when they both alone. Pandit wiped his tears and hugged him.

"Sameer ab kabhi udas nahi hoga jab tujh jaisa dost ho to... chal ab jaldi se tu bhi muskura de... mera chenu aise achha nahi lagta udaas aur rota hua." Pandit cheered his mood.

Then Sameer and Rohan came seeing the arrangement. They all engrossed remember their old days memories, Rohan listened them intently. Rohan too glad to see Sameer's smile.

Vivek and Vishakha were welcoming the guests while standing near the gate of marriage garden. Vishakha had invited her cousin brother, who lived in the Gandhinagar but he politely refused as his wife's health was not well. She had addmited in the hospital for some major heart problem and he had sent his son and daughter-in-law behalf of him to attained the engagement. He assured Vishakha he will definitely come to the wedding. His son Devang and his wife Poonam also welcomed the guests with them and their two years son had with Deepika. Vivek and Vishakha welcomed their relatives, friends and business associates with smiling.

Sameer was standing with Munna and Rohan on the marriage garden, he was eager to see Naina. He would smile forcefully when any business associates passed near him. He became worried, as time passed and despair was written on his face. As no member of Naina's family was visible here. He was afraid that something bad might happen to them.

Munna saw him restless and chuckled " Kya baat hai Sameer...teri nazrein to gate se hat hi nahi rahi... aa jayegi yaar, teri Naina."

"Kya aa jayegi... kitni der ho gai hai...na Naina ka pata hai aur na hi uski family ka." He panicked then immediately thought "kahi chacha ji ko hamare baare me pata to nahi chal gaya aur unhone sagai cancel kar di ho." Feared clearly visible on his face and sweats forming on his forehead.

"Kaun kahega ki tu ek successful businessman hai jo bekar ki baaton se dar gaya... late wo log nahi hai... balki hum log jaldi aa gaye hai, time dekh abhi 6 bajne me 15 minute hai... aate honge yaar thodi shanti rakh." Munna calmed down him.

"Haan Sameer tum bekar me aisi baatein soch kar tension le rahe ho, dekhana sab thik hoga... ab tumhe koi Naina bhabhi se alag nahi karega... vaise iss suit me tum kisi hero se kam nahi lag rahe ho... hai na Munna" Rohan tried to divert his mind.

"Tumhe koi shaq tha...I am always looking handsome... Hazaron ladkiyan marti hai mujh par" Sameer praised himself.

"Haan wo to hum abhi dekh hi rahe hai." Munna and Rohan said together as seeing the girls were ogling to Sameer.

Sameer was wearing a cream colour suit. He looked handsome and dashing. Some girls had drooled over him as he was looking effortlessly handsome. Seeing this Munna and Rohan had teased him, but he chided them and he annoyed at those girls that if Naina would see this then she would definitely be angry on those girls as he had witnessed her jealously in Delhi college. And just then, Sameer heard Deepika screaming and his eyes turned at the gate and he shocked to see the person.
