Sorry for the delay.

I have tried to cover the rest of the past story in a one chapter, making the chapter too long. And I divided it into two parts so that you do not get bored and enjoy to read. First part posted today and next part posted will be tomorrow. After that the story will be back to the present track.

The next day Sameer reached college early in the morning. He was waiting for Naina in the parking and his gaze was fixed on the entrance of the college campus. He was impatient to see her. Munna also with him, he was panicked to see his distressed condition. They were stood in the parking for more than an hour. Till now, none of these three Naina, Preeti and Swati had appeared in the college. Then Swati appeared entering the college campus and Sameer's smile came back on his face just as the first drops of rain fell on the dry earth. But next second his smile faded when he saw her coming alone.

Then they both immediately hurried to her to ask about Naina. They passed a smile to her and she too smile seeing them.

Munna - Swati tum akeli...Naina aur Preeti nahi aayi... he inquired her.

Swati stared at them. They both were frightened seeing her reaction. But Swati was astonishment Sameer asked about Naina. And so she was staring Sameer as if it was a dream.

Swati - aap Naina ke baare me kyo puchh rahe hai?... she asked in a confused voice.

Munna - wo..wo... he fumbled.

Sameer - wo Naina ko kuch notes dena tha... kal bhi nahi aayi aur aaj tumhare saath dikhi nahi na...to bas puch liya... vaise Naina kyo nahi aayi?... he explained to her why he asked about Naina.

Swati - ha...wo aaj na roka hai us... then a girl called her name and she them excuse without completing her sentence. She stepped towards the girl.

Sameer hearing the word 'Roka' from Swati's mouth and he assumed Naina's roka and he went straight to the garden and sat on a bench. Seeing Sameer left the place Munna ran behind him. Munna sat near him and kept his hand on his shoulder as he assured that I am with you.

Sameer was wondered to this situation he said to his mind " to kya ab Naina ki shaadi ho jayegi, wo ab meri dost nahi rahegi, Naina mujhe se dosti tod degi.. mujhse baat nahi karegi, uski liye mai bas ek aisa ladka hi rah jaaunga jo kabhi uska dost tha. Naina ab mujhse dur chali jayegi... par mujhe ye sab achchha kyo nahi lag raha, mujhe koi itna fark pad raha hai, kyo Naina kyo...tumhara dur jana mai sahan nahi kar pa raha hu, kyo aisa lag raha hai jaise kisi ne meri saari khushiyan chheen li ho, dil udas ho gaya hai kuch achchha nahi lag raha, kyo baicheni ho rahi hai lag raha hai jaise meri zindagi mujh se dur ja rahi hai... kya ehsaas hai ye Naina... agar ye sab hi pyaar hai to mujhe tum se pyaar ho gaya hai Naina "...one side his heart rejoiced the realisation of his feeling but at the same time his heart flinching with pain as going away to Naina.

Munna - Sameerr... he called his name softly that he came out of his thought.

Sameer - Munna...Naina ka roka... he said in a shaking voice.

Munna - Abhi naina ki age hi kya hai .. aur Swati ne kahan kaha ki Naina ka roka hai... tu apne man se aise khayal nikal de...mai abhi Swati se clear karke aata hu... and he got up and started going but Sameer held his hand.

Sameer - mat ja...uski taiji uske liye rishte dekh rahi thi...ek baar bataya tha usne ...he informed him in a broken voice as he was disheartened. Munna gasped his mouth with shocked to know about her family.

Munna - par tujhe kyo itni taklif ho rahi hai... he asked as know about his real feeling.

Sameer - because I love her...mai pyaar karta hu usse...use dur jate nahi dekh paunga... Sameer shouted at him as confess his love in front of Munna.

Sameer - par kitni ajeeb baat hai na, aaj jab Naina mujh se dur ja rahi hai tab mujhe apne pyaar ka ehsaas ho raha hai. Jab wo paas thi to iss pyaar ko kabhi samjhne ki koshish hi nahi ki aur ab jab ehsaas hua to Naina dur ja rahi hai ...Nanu aapne sahi kaha tha...mujhe der nahi karni chahiye thi...maine der kar di nanu...He said on verge of crying. He punched the bench with his fist. He was hurting himself and cursed. Why he could not understand his feeling soon.

Munna saw his friend in miserable condition and he too panicked. He hugged him tightly and trying to soothe his pain. Sameer was broken inside and when he felt a warmth embraced around him, his eyes flooded with tears and it ran down his cheeks. Munna broke the embraced, when he felt some wetness on his shoulder and saw his weeping face. After sometime he noticed that his crying had subsided and now he looked a little calm than before.

Munna - wow mere bhai ko pyaar ho gaya hai... he said excitedly.

Sameer - par kya fayda... use to maine hamesha ke liye kho diya... he looked down.

Munna - tu na pagal hai... pahle apna pyaar samajh nahi raha tha, ab dukhi ho ke baith gaya, puri baat janne bhi nahi de raha...mai ja raha hu Swati se puchhne... he suggested.

Sameer - mujhse nahi hoga... mai ye baat dobara nahi sun paunga, tujhe jana hai to ja... he said as he will be unable tolerant the situation again.

Both of them sat quietly for some time. Sameer was constantly looking down at the ground and was looking at the same place without any gesture. It seemed like a lot of turbulance was going on inside him. Munna wanted to ease his pain so he sat near him and comforted him. After a while he suggested him something.

Munna - ab class chale... he asked in concern voice. But Sameer denied and quietly watching the ground.

Munna - to phir ghar chale... he asked again to break his silence. But he was still watching the ground without replying.

Munna - to aise hi baithe rahega... he irritated seeing to his stubbornness.

Finally Sameer broke the silence and uttered something seeing his frustrated and worried look.

Sameer - mai kuch der akela rahna chahata hu... he spoke only a few words in a calm tone while glancing at Munna with an expressionless face.

Munna was still stood there and watching his blank expressionless face. He did not want to leave him alone. Sameer again requested him and Munna left with a heavy heart.

Sameer was sitting on the bench and was recalling his life, that How he has always longed for his mother's love and family since childhood, every turn of his life took him to a new place, but the lack of affection was always remained. But after coming to Ahmedabad, nanaji's love and friend like Munna fulfilled that deficiency to a great extent. For the first time he had found someone so close to his heart, his heart had fallen on someone. He fell in love with someone but lost her due to his stupidity.
He remained there for a long time, lost in his thoughts after sometime he got up and left.

When the lecture was over, Munna searched for sameer everywhere. But he did not found him in the whole college. Munna got anxious when Sameer was not seen anywhere in college. He immediately went to his house and stepped directly to his room. He found Sameer sleeping on his bed and some worry lines appeared on his face. Then he left for his own house after knowing that his brother was safe and in his house.

The next day Sameer arrived college with reluctantly, the sadness was clearly visible on his face. He was sitting in class without mind. Munna was trying to lighten his mood. But none of the strategies were working. Somehow he attended the lecture before the lunch break and after that he walked to the library. Munna wanted to stop him but he thought of giving him some time.

After sometime Naina came in the library for project work. As soon as she stepped inside, her eyes fell on Sameer who rested his head on the table and looked he was sleeping. She scanned the whole library and found some students were present. She approached him and saw his charming but cute face. She noticed some worriness on his face. She thought did not disturbed his sleep, so she slowly went to the bookshelf and bring the book. She sitting opposite him and worked quietly. She was taking a glance at his sleeping figure in the middle of her work.

In the 15 minutes his sleep was disturbed by some noise then his eyes first fell on Naina who was engrossed something writing. He was surprised to see her in front of him. Naina raised up head when she felt some movement and saw him wake up. She found him, he stared her.

Naina - Sameer...aap thik to hai na... she asked in a concern.

Sameer - tum kab aayi?... he asked as ignoring her concern but his eyes still fixed on her.

Naina - bas kuch der pahle jab aap...umm.. so rahe the... aap aise to kabhi college me nahi sote aur aap ki aankhe red kyo hai?... she asked in some worried expression.

Sameer - kuch nahi... bas aise hi... he said sternly with rubbing his eyes.

At first she taken aback listening to his tone, then she sensed something bothering him.

Sameer - congratulations Naina... he said with sad smile and forwarded his hand towards her for handshake.

Naina - why?... she asked with confused face and she did not shake hands with him.

Sameer - your roka... he smirked and still forwarded his hand in front of her.

Naina - what?... only single word escaped her mouth with widened eyes. She was shocked to hear what he said.

Sameer saw her expression and wondered how she was shocked. He withdrew his hand.

Naina - matlab... she confused.

Sameer - kal roka tha na tumhara... he said simply.

Naina - kisne kaha mera roka tha... she countered him.

Sameer - Swati ne... he retorted.

Naina - ha kal roka tha... par mera nahi pooja didi ka... she said as clearing his confusion.

Sameer - kya?... he shouted with shockingly. He was stunned sometime as realising her words. His heart beat fastened as came out from heart anytime.

Naina - ye Sawti bhi na... pata nahi kisko kisko kaha hoga... she frustrated with her

Sameer - sorry...isme Swati ki nahi meri galti hai... he admitted his stupidity with held his one ear and he grinned seeing her frustrated face.

Naina - matlab kaise aapki... she asked while looking him with puzzled face.

Sameer - wo...jab usne kaha ki roka hai, to maine samajha ki tumhara roka hai... uski puri baat sune bina maine khud se anuman laga liya..he explained his misunderstanding with scratched his neck. He was delighted knew the truth.

Naina - par aapko aisa kyo laga... she chuckled looking his deep eyes.

Sameer - kuch din pahle tumne bataya tha na... tumhari taiji rishte dundh rahi hai, wahi baat yaad aa gayi thi, uss time... he said while looking her brown orbs.

They looked at each other's eyes and they drowning those beautiful sight. But their eyelock broken by Munna.

Munna - Sameer...Sameer... he shouted his name without looking Naina as he was standing behind her.

Sameer - chilla kyo raha hai... he chided.

Munna - ghar nahi jana ... time dekha hai... he said with concern.

And Naina looked at the clock and realized that she was getting late to go to her friends and they were waiting for her.

Naina - mai bhi chalati hu...Preeti aur Swati wait kar rahe honge... getting up from the chair, she said and adjusted her belongings.

Then she turned of her place as to walk out of the library, Munna saw her present here and shocked that she was sitting in front of Sameer. He glanced his face and noticed smile on his lips. And Naina left of the library without any interaction of Munna.

Munna - kya baat hai... aaj janab ke rang to badle badle lag rahe hai... he teased.

Sameer - Munna... kal Naina ka nahi, uski badi bahen ka roka tha... he informed him.

Munna - kya... he surprised while occupied a seat opposite him.

Sameer - abhi thodi der pahle Naina ne bataya... he said with a big smile.

Munna - maine to pahle hi kaha tha... par tu sune tab na, jo ek baar soch liya bas vahi sahi hai...Swati se clear karne bhi nahi diya, aur pura din pareshan raha...... he scolded him for his stupidity and took a long pause before said again.

Munna - par ek baat achchi hui kam se kam isi bahane tere dil ki baat to samne aayi. Tujhe apni feeling aur Naina ke liye tera pyaar to samajh aaya... he said with chuckling and looked at his blushed face.

He did not said anything, he wondered Munna was right. He never understood his love if this incident not happened.

Munna - to...bata di dil ki baat... he asked excitedly.

Sameer - nahi... he said in daze.

Munna - kyo?.. nahi bataya...he dejected of listening his no.

Sameer - aise sidhe use kah deta... kya samajhati wo mere bare me... mai pahle uski feeling janna chahata hu, uske man me mere liye kya hai... wo mujhe sirf ek friend hi samajhati hai ya usse badkar... tabhi mai iss rishte me aage badhunga aur apne pyaar ko confess karunga... uski comfortably meri frist priority hai ... he firmed up his words. His face was showing a different emotion. This was love, care, concern and more understanding towards her.

Munna - mahan hai, Sameer baba... aap ke pair kaha hai, mai bhi kuch aashirwad le leta hu... he said in mockingly while bending down touch his feet.

Sameer - chup kar nautanki kaha ka... ab der nahi ho rahi... he said while stood up from seat and walked out of the library with Munna.

In other side Preeti and Swati were waiting to Naina at the college gate. She was panting badly when she approached them as she rushed to the library reaching towards them.

Naina - sorry sorry... she utter while breathing hardly.

Preeti - pagal kya jaroorat thi... aise bhag ke aane ki...she scolding her carelessness.

Swati - vaise tu kaha thi... kahi apne hero ke paas to nahi... she teased.

Naina blushed. They both saw her cheeks on the red hue and they started teasing her more. After more teasing session the trio left to their respective house.

Naina was roaming her balcony after dinner, she held a book but her mind was not in the book. She wondered today Sameer reaction why he shocked hearing her roka and at first why he was behave rudely, then he said politely. Why he was behave strangely. But in the whole matter one things strange why he was sleep in the library today. Did his health detorious. Why he was looking at sad and why his eyes looked at blank.

In the other hand Sameer was standing in front of Nanaji's room and mustered courage to go inside. After much courage, he stepped inside and saw Nanaji sitting in the chair. Who was unaware of Sameer's arrival as engaged reading a book. Then he called him.

Sameer - nanu... he called him in a slow voice.

Nanaji looked at him and gesturing to him come. Sameer went to Nanaji and sat on the ground in front of him with rested his head on his lap. Then Nanaji slowly caress his head, they remained sometime like this.

Nanaji - kya hua beta?... kuch pareshani hai... he asked in politely as he knew his nature when he wanted to said something he do like that.

Sameer was not spoke anything, he rested still his head in Nanaji lap. After some time he opened his mouth for say something.

Sameer - nanu...wo...But he again stopped.

Nanaji - sameeerr.... he called softly with stretching his name.

Sameer - wo...wo... he hesitated.

Nanaji - koi pareshani hai... he asked while lift up his face from his lap and saw some hesitation on his eyes.

Then Sameer straitened his body and looked at his nanu's serene face. He again looked down, he was gathering courage. But he was not understand how he told to nanu, he loves Naina. Nanaji felt his hesitation.

Nanaji - yahi na ki .... tu Naina se pyaar karta hai... he chukling to saw his widened eyes in shocked.

Sameer - nanu aap... aap ko kaise pata chala...he smiled sheepishly.

Nanaji - ye jo teri aankhen hai, mujhe sab bata deti hai... aur uss din mandir me Naina ko dekhate hi kaise tere aankhon me chamak aa gayi thi aur teri badi si smile ne sab bata diya tha, jo tu abhi bata nahi pa raha hai.... he said in a calm voice. Sameer once looked him then again buried his head in his lap.

Nanaji - tune bataya use... he asked gently.

Sameer - nahi nanu... he replied with fighting his emotion.

Nanaji - kyo Sameer?... he inquired while slowly patted his head.

Sameer - samajh nahi aa raha, nanu kaise batau...nanu... Naina dil ki bahut sachchi hai... usne to mera dil jeet liya, par kya mai uss ka dil jeet paya...dar lagta hai nanu, kahi vah bura maan gayi aur dosti tod liya to... he revealed his fear with a gloomy sigh.

Nanaji - beta ek baar baat to kar... kya pata wo bhi tujhe pasand karti ho... he suggested.

Sameer - thik hai nanu...par pahle mai Naina ke dil ki baat samajhane ki koshish karunga, mai use uncomfortable nahi karna chahata... he replied in a soft voice with affection.

Nanaji - thik hai mere sher... par jo bhi decision lo, jaldi lena, samay kisi ka intzaar nahi karta... he said with a worried look as some fear grabbed inside him.

Sameer - ji nanu, mai aap ki baat yaad rakhunga...ab aap bhi so jaiyen, bahut der ho gayi hai... he assured him while lifted his head then he stood up from the ground to going to his room, then he wished him with smile...Good Night Nanu...

Nanaji - Good Night... he also got up from the chair while wishing him.

Day by day was passing, Sameer was trying to understand Naina's feeling. He felt that Naina also had some affection towards him but he was unable to comprehend her exact emotion. He wanted to tell his feeling to her, but he was afraid that if Naina had only a friendly feeling in her heart, the friendship would also be broken, due to which he could not tell his feeling to Naina. And a month has passed in this confusion.

But Munna always forced him to propose her. But he did not wanted to make Naina feel discomfort. Whenever Naina was needed, he helped her without showed his emotions. But every time he saw her, he was drowned in her eyes.

Naina also tried understood his feeling. She always hid her love and never disclose her emotions in front of him.

In this way Samir and Naina were trying to understand each other's feelings. Sometimes they saw love in each other's eyes, sometimes respect and care for each other. When he felt that he should tell her his feelings now, the college annual exams had come close. Everyone now busy preparing for their exams and seldom they could see and meet each other. Time started running at its own pace, their exams started and then their college exams were also over.

The examination had been ended a week and now preparations were being made the farewell to the last year. The farewell program was scheduled to take place a week later.

Sameer and Naina had last time met each other's for a week. They were missing each other a lot. Earlier both of them had to see each other on some pretext, but now it was not possible. Both of them were anxious to meet each other, which was enhancing their love.

Naina, who was not telling Sameer her feeling till now, that their friendship might break up. Now the thought of moving away from Sameer was scaring her inside. These days, restlessness and fear was clearly visible on her face. Sometimes she thought that she should tell Sameer about her feeling but then she took her steps back.

Sameer's condition was also not good with Naina. He cursed himself as that why he did not reveal his feeling earlier. He went to the temple every Tuesday morning hoping that he would get Naina there and he would propose to her. But Sameer could not meet Naina, maybe Naina was not coming to the temple, or she left the temple before he reached. Now he had only one chance to meet Naina and that was the farewell.

The farewell ceremony was now only two days left. Sameer was very happy that as soon as he met Naina that day, he would talk about his feeling and propose to her. Munna was also encouraging him to propose, which reduced his hesitation. He was bringing courage to tell himself about his feeling. He was ready to propose to Naina, he did not want to miss this last chance. He felt, after that whether both of them would be able to meet each other or not, and whether everything would be good or not. All this things were scaring him from inside, but by ignoring this fear, he started making special the farewell day.

On the other hand, Naina was sitting in the balcony at night looking at the moon, with a very sad and dull face. Preeti saw her sitting in the balcony like this and went to her and placed one hand on her shoulder. She was shocked to feel someone's touch, and turned up side and saw Preeti. After that she again turned her gaze towards the moon. Preeti also settled to next her and looking the moon.

Preeti - ye dono kitne udas hai na... she said as starting the conversation.

Naina - kon dono?... she confused to hear her words.

Preeti - ye aur ye... she said with first pointed to the moon and then towards her.

Then Naina looked towards the floor and fidgeting with her fingers as controlling her emotion.

Preeti - Naina... kya baat hai, mai dekh rahi hu jab se exams khatam huye hai... tu pareshan lag rahi hai... mujhe bhi nahi batayegi... she asked her in a soft voice while she was taking her one hand and placed between her own hands.

Naina - Preeti... do din baad Sameer ko college se farewell mil jayega... aur phir wo college nahi aayenge... hum dono phir kabhi nahi mil payenge... aur tu kah rahi hai mai khush kyo nahi hu, tu hi bata mai kaise khush rahu... she said in a heavy voice and a lone tear escaped her eyes.

Preeti - to tere pareshan hone ya rone se wo nahi jayega, tu na ekadam buddhu hai... agar itna hi dar hai to bata de na... she scolded of her childishness and troubling to herself.

Naina - unki aankho me bhi mujhe pyaar dikhata hai... maine bahut baar socha ki apne dil ki baat data du... par phir dar jati ki unhone mera pyaar accept nahi kiya to, aur phir dosti bhi tut jati... she said with sadly.

Preeti - to puri zindagi aise hi baith ke roti rahegi... zindagi bhar pachhatane se achchha, at least ek baar try to kar, kya pata Sameer ha kar de aur vaise bhi college ke bad to tum dono milne se rahe... to ye last chance hai samajhi apne feeling use batane ke liye... to ab udasi chhod aur farewell ke din ka wait haste huye kar... nahi to Sameer tera bhut jaisa chehara dekh ke dur se hi bhag jayega...she said politely as gave her some sensed and cleared her confusion.

Naina - thank you Preeti... tumne mujhe bahut himmat di hai, nahi to mai to kabhi ye step le hi nahi pati... thankyou thankyou... she said in gladly while hugged her in tightly and few tears rolled down to her cheek with contented smile.

Preeti - chal ab yahi baithi rahegi kya?...Sameer ko ab propose karegi to kuch special to karna padega na...dress select kar lete hai, after all tujhe sabse sunder jo lagna hai aur Sameer ka dil bhi jeetna hai... she teased her and received a smack from Naina.

Then both of them went inside the room and selected a perfect dress for special day with lots of argument.
