IN CLASS

Preetha is dumbfounded.

Sensing all eyes are on her,she walks in and sits at her place beside Rishi.

The class get started but Preetha is sitting like a statute.Rishi nudges to ease her,

Rishi(whispers): He is our new lecturer for Human Resource Management.

He clarifies while Preetha's eyes widen into saucers,

Sandy(whispers): He is none other than Karan Luthra.

He says from her other side and Vicky continues from behind.

Vicky(whispers): And he was an alumnus.

Preetha is shocked knowing he was a former student.He didn't even tell her.

The gang is mumbling subtly but Karan notices it,

Karan: Any problem?

He asks regarding them they immediately sits straight and he resumes tutoring.All the while Preetha remained astonished just looking at him.

Class is over and they are in break.Everyonr is chattering about only one....

Wow! He is so handsome!

He is looking good!

How easily he explained everything!

What a style!

Sandy(surprised): Oh my god! I can't believe its him who just took our class.

Vicky: Exactly.

Preetha: What's all this?

Sandy immediately slides his chair close to her,

Sandy: When we entered he is already in the class and introduced himself and said that he is gonna take HR Management for this year.

Vicky: But I remember seeing him somewhere so immediately googled.You know it said that He is the Chief of Luthra's.I mean can you believe it?

Sandy: Oh god! I feel it like it's all my imagination.

Preetha is not at all surprised by all this but confused about one question which Rishi raised,

Rishi: But why is he doing this?

The gang looks at him as he explains further,

Rishi: I mean he is looking over his industries from somewhere.His father and brother are the people who attends the companies in India.I am sure very few people know about him.Then how come he suddenly show up here that too as a lecturer? Isn't it wierd?

They are pondering on his questions while Preetha kept her silence.It's evening her classes are over and she is on the way to parking when she gets a call from the library.

LIBRARY

She goes inside,

Preetha: Excuse me mam.

Librarian: Good Evening Preetha!

Preetha: Good Evening Mam! You said there is new stock on books?

Librarian: Yes! We received yesterday evening.You requested me to inform so I called you.

She remembered Preetha when she made a talk with her regarding books on her first visit.She immediately got in her good books,

Preetha: Thank you Mam.Where can I find them?

Librarian: In the Northern block.Go straight,take left and you will find the restricted area filled with wooden racks.There you can easily find the MBA section.

Thanking her, she puts the bag in the locker and finds her way to the North block.It's the first time she is here and she is amazed. It is like an old Mini model of the main Library but well maintained.To make it easy, Branch names are put on the boards hanging from the roof.

She is walking through the passage,her eyes up,reading each board when she is suddenly pulled aside and her back touched the book rack.

It happened in a blink of second as her voice get stopped in her throat when she sees the person.

He is standing there looking at her keenly, she is not understanding whether it is real or not as she is feeling everything unreal and impossible since morning.

Observing her for a minute,he slowly leans to her while she stands there like a statute without moving or blinking.

His face is inches away and she closes her eyes immediately.With a slight smile,he gently rubs his nose with her's,

Preetha: Karan!

She says unconsciously.

Karan: Wow! You remembered me?

She heard his voice after 15 days and that's when she opens her eyes.He moved back but his palm is resting on the rack,

Preetha: It's you who forgot me.

She complains in a low voice,

Karan: Ohh! Is that why I am here standing before you?

He sneers in a low tone,she now believes that he is really there but she dont know how,why,when.

Preetha: What are you doing here?

Karan: Why? You don't wanna see me?

Preetha sees him sharply, while he adds,

Karan: Didn't your friends told that I am your new lecturer?

Preetha: Stop answering me in questions.I am asking why are you not in your dream job?

He takes few seconds to answer,

Karan: Another dream added in my list and I am here to pursue it.

She gets conscious at his words and looks,

Preetha: W.....what?

He sees her eagerly,

Karan: Don't you know?

She glances at his eyes and quickly averts,

Preetha: No!

He slightly raises his eyebrows but seeing her nervous state decides to tease her.He steps closer,

Karan: No?

She widen her eyes but tries to compose herself,

Preetha: N... no!

Totally amused,he leans further increasing her nervousness,

Karan: Ok!

And he casually steps back and leaves.

She really didn't understand anything but seeing him walking away she hastily strides behind and stops holding his hand,

Preetha: Wait!

Karan glances at her hand and her,

Preetha: You didn't tell me what's your new dream?

He takes his hand off from her and crosses them,

Karan: Why should I tell you?

Preetha: I am...am your friend?

She says with a bit of doubt which wants to make him giggle but he stops,

Karan: Really? I don't know that.

He mocks, she glares him.

She can sense he is playing with her but she is not in the mood.Her frustration is rising,

Preetha: Ok!

Giving the same response as him,she walks past him huffing but he holds her hand.She tries to free it but fails.

Preetha: What?

She is not facing him but he is facing her,

Karan: What what?

She turns to him angrily only to see him chuckling,

Preetha: Stop laughing!

Karan: How can I when you look like a dragon?

He giggles,

Karan: See your eyes,nose and mouth.

He laughs again while she frowns,after a minute she forcefully pries her hand out and walks away.He stops laughing and runs behind and stands infront of her.

She steps left,he steps left.

She steps right,he steps right.

She is completely annoyed,

Preetha: What do you want?

Karan: You are the one who wants answers from me, now you are asking what do I want.How funny!

Preetha: I don't want anything from you.Just move I will leave.

Karan: Are you sure you want nothing from me?

Preetha huffs,she is totally annoyed, frustrated and irritated today,

Preetha: Yes.I want to know a lot.First why you didn't come to airport? Why you didn't call me for a month? How did you appear so suddenly? Why are you playing with me now?Why didn't you tell me you are a form....

He stops her by his words,

Karan: So what?

Preetha: Huh?

Karan: What if I hadn't called you? What if I hadn't come to Airport? What if I suddenly appeared?What if I am here teasing you?

She looks at him confused while he continues,

Karan: How does it matter?

Preetha: It matters to me.

Karan: Why?

He asks looking at her intently while she still looks at him frowning,

Karan: Ham Aapke Hein Kaun?

Preetha never really heard him speak in Hindi and now when she heard she felt good and somewhat intimate.

She sees that he is waiting for her answer but she is Preetha Arora,she folds her hands,

Preetha: That was also my question. Remember? We will start from that then.

She reminds him of the Bridge incident where she asked and he avoided.

Preetha: Ham Aapke Hein Kaun?

He lovingly sees her,

Karan: Meri dil ho thum!

There he said it.Neiher it's difficult nor too hard to admit.It's easy.Its always been easy with her.

Preetha's eyes widen as saucers.
She never ever expected that direct answer from him though she wanted it.

While Karan coolly rubs his both palms,

Karan: As the first question is answered we will go on with the next.I didn't come to airport because I couldn't see you leaving.I didn't call you because I want to figure out what's all this.I am here because I finally found the answer to your question.

He says every line taking a step forward making her move back.

She is understanding what he is saying but she is not able to speak except a word.She feels the the rack on her back again,

Preetha: O......oxford?

He smiles seeing her state,

Karan: It can wait.

Preetha: But....

He interrupts knowing what she is thinking,

Karan: I am not giving up anything Preetha.I will fulfill my dreams maybe a little later but I will.With you right beside me.

Though she is happy so happy but she felt bad and sad.He came here for her and that doesn't seemed right.Also it all started just 2 months before and that's so short.

Long time couples are getting seperated and their relation age is just 2 months.Then would it last?

He should just go back so that they can think about it more detailed after her studies.It gives sufficient time for both of them.

Karan could see the determined look on her face, could understand what she might be thinking as he all thought about it.But he knew what he is doing is right and he also knew it's difficult to convince her in a nice way.

One look at her eyes and he knew what to do,

Karan: That's ok if you don't like me.I understand.

She is surprised but disappointment started in her,he fishes his phone and doesn't look at her,

Karan: Someone told me I would be the hot shot lecturer and girls would be at my beck and call.Hopefully I will find one.Actually (looking at his phone) one girl even messaged me let me give her a ca.....

That word saw its death as she pulled him through collar at once and sealed his lips with her's.

He is dumbfounded.

Didn't know how but his words worked like a magic and cleared all the dubious clouds in her mind revealing him in her heart.

Satisfied and relieved,she starts moving forward until his back touches the opposite rack.

She comes out of the kiss and sees him frowning,

Preetha: You won't do that?

Karan(slowly): Why can't I?

Preetha: Because someone told me I am his heart and.....

She pauses to finish,

"I intend to be one.......The only one"

He heartily looks at her while she holds his collar tightly.He holds her through waist,

Karan: Then be the one.

Holding her through waist,he turns her on back and kisses her deeply.

LUTHRA MANSION

A woman is sitting on the dining table with Sameer when Karan hurriedly walks inside with an elated face,

Sahana: Karan......Karan.Food is waiting.C'mon.

He is already ascending the steps so he shouts,

Karan: Not now!

Happily and fastly he goes to his room while she gets confused,

Sahana: Khana bhi nai khaya.Uska favourite dishes karwaya tha meine.Pch!Kya hogaya thumhara bhai ko?

Annoyed she goes to hand wash while Sameer smirks looking at the picture Jaanu sent him,

Sameer: Pyaar hogaya!
