Listening Aadya,karan looks at them for a moment and looks away sipping his drink.

Aadya(mind): Yes.... Its correct time.

Correcting her throat she starts to speak,

Aadya: Sir.....

Karan looks at her,

Aadya: You....you are looking handsome.

Karan just smiles at her and looks at his surroundings,she frowns

Aadya(mind): yeh kya? Mujhe laga wo mujhe return compliment dega ya thank you or kuch aur bolega Lekin yeh just smile kar liya aur apna staring kaam mein busy hogaya.Come on aadya try once more.

Aadya: Karan sir......

He doesn't look at her but humms.

Aadya: How's your business going?

Karan: Good.

Aadya gets irritated by his one word answers and behaviour.She cools down and decides to try one more time,

Aadya: ka..

Before she completes,

Karan: Excuse me Miss.Sharma I need to meet them.

He signs at some people and walks away without even waiting for her response.

Aadya(mind): He just.....just walked away without even listening me.....me Aadya Sharma.Ughhh it's all because of you preetha......all because of you.I will see you.But first I have to impress karan sir I can't lose this chance.

Glaring preetha,she starts following karan.

Rishi and Preetha goes to the drinks counter,

Rishi: bolo kya chahiye?

Preetha: hmm......lime.

Rishi: Ok

He orders lime and grape to the attender there and within minutes she gets her juice.She takes a sip,

Rishi: How is it?

Preetha: mmm....not bad.

Rishi gives grape to her,

Rishi: Take this too

Preetha: yeh thumhareliye nai?

Rishi: pehle piyo yaar

Preetha takes grape and tastes it too,

Rishi: How is this?

Preetha: This is also good but Lime is better.

Rishi: Is it?

Then he takes the lime juice he ordered for her and drinks it,

Rishi: ek aur order karo thum

Preetha: What? meine lime order kiya thum mujhe grape taste karwaya ab meri juice kyun pila rahe ho?

Rishi: Actually I wanted to know which one tastes better.....you said lime and I took it.

Preetha: kya? Thum mujhpe trails kiya........You just give me my glass back.

Rishi(coolly): Ok

He drinks the whole juice in one go and places the empty glass in her hand,

Preetha: yeh kya hein?

Rishi: You asked for glass I gave it......that's it.

Preetha(angrily): Ughhhhh.......Leave before I strangle you.

Rishi: Ok ......mein jaa raha hu agar ladikiyan aake thumhe irritate karegi tho mujhe math kaho ki meine thumhe akele chodke chala gaya.

Preetha: Mein aise nai kahunga thum jaha jaana hein jaao pehle thum mere saamne se chale jaao.

Rishi : As you like......I will send some girls here have a nice time with them.....bye.

He walks away hurriedly before preetha shouts at him...

Preetha: Idiot

She huffs and orders another drink.

After a while,aadya is looking at both karan and preetha standing at a side,

Aadya(low and confused): What's happening here?

As said Karan meets his father's friends, his business friends.He converses with them formally at the same time being friendly.He is having his business time with them while preetha is having her time with Rishi and some other associates.

Aadya thought them to behave silent and look at eachother with hurt but what she observed made her think twice.

Aadya: Yeh dono sach mein saath mein hein kya?(she holds her head) Oh god.....mujhe drink chahiye abhi ke abhi.Shuu...

Huffing she goes to get a drink.

Karan sees Preetha talking with girls and  Rishi is nowhere to be seen.He smiles,excuses himself and walks towards her.By the time he reached her,the girls go away and preetha turns to see karan.She is surprised and about to speak when he takes her hand and walks towards dance floor which is dimly lit.She don't know what to speak by his sudden action,

Preetha: Karan

Karan: Shhhh.....

Many people are there on the floor and also it is dimly lit so preetha takes a breath,he goes behind her and whispers,

Karan: Everyone are in their own world so let's forget about them and have our time.

Preetha nods slightly closing her eyes,he smiles and swing their bodies and suddenly he turns her towards him making preetha open her eyes with surprise.She moves to him closely and they start dancing.

For a minute,they both look at each other and a small smile steals their lips.

Karan: Looking beautiful!

Preetha smiles,

Preetha: achaa......

Karan: hmmm

Preetha: isiliye meri taraf hi nai dekh raha tha

Karan looks at her,

Preetha: ab aise kyun dekh rahe ho? thumhari saari dhyaan sab logon ke taraf tha meri taraf hi nai tha

She complains but her eyes held amusement karan senses that and smirks,

Karan: Nai mein thumhe hi dekh raha tha

Preetha: Jhut.Thumne mujhe ek baar bhi nai dekha

Karan: Nai mein thumhe hi dekh raha tha.

Preetha: Jhut math bolo thum mujhe pata hein Thumne mujhe nai dekha

Karan: Acha thumhe kaise pata ki mein sach bol raha hu ya jhut?

Preetha: thum jhut hi bol rahe ho kyunki meine apni aankhon se dekha tha.

Karan smiles but composes,

Karan: Kab? Meine nai dekha thum mujhe dekhthe hue?

Preetha: kaise dekhoge? Mein chupke chupke se dekh rahi thi thumhe.

She realizes what she said and looks at karan widening her eyes while he smirks,he pulls her a little bit

Karan: mein bhi aise hi dekha thumhe.....chupke chupke se.

Preetha sees him with surprised eyes and blushes.

Karan: waise kya hua? Thum dono yaha kaise ayi?

Preetha: Mehra uncle ko urgent kaam aaya tha.jab ham disc pahunch rahe the achanak uncle ne phone kiya aur bathaya tha ki rishi party attend karna hein.Rishi pehle nai maana lekin uncle ne bahot insist ki aur wo mujhe insist kiya party mein aane keliye. mein mana nai kar payi aur ham dono yaha aayi......rishi is very excited and happy for our friends time but.........his bad luck.

She finishes it disappointed while karan smiles,

Karan(smiling): My good luck.

Preetha(confused): thumhara good luck?

Karan: ofcourse.....I wanted to see you badly since I heard rishi saying Beautiful to you.I thought I couldn't as I had party and you had disc to attend but see.......(seeing her fully)I am seeing you,(twirls her) twirling you,(speaking) speaking with you,(Smiling) smiling with you.

Karan says making preetha smile widely but she composes,

Preetha: kyun?

Karan frowns,

Preetha:Kyun dekhna chahte ho aap mujhe?

Karan: kyun matlab?

Raising her eyebrows and wrapping her hands around his neck,

Preetha: Ham aapke hein kaun?

Karan stops smiling and looks into her eyes.He places his both hands on her waist and pulls her a little close,

Karan: Sab kuch!

And she gets lost in him.

They move slightly with karan holding her waist preetha holding his shoulders,they may not be close now but their hearts are always close to eachother.

Preetha comes into senses,

Preetha: ham chalna chahiye

Karan: thodi der aur..... please.

She smiles and they move slightly looking into each other's eyes.

Aadya and Rishi who are searching for karan and preetha on opposite sides sees both of them on the floor.

Both(mind): What's happening here?

They get shocked seeing them.Aadya gets angry on Preetha while Rishi just doesn't like it.They keep on looking at them with different emotions while karan and preetha come out of the dance floor and stand by a side,

Karan: So?

Preetha: S....o....?

Karan: What next?

Preetha: Ghar jaaungi

Karan: disco?

Preetha: Nai....mood nai hein.I wanna go home and spend time with ma.

Karan: hmmm.....

Preetha: thum kab jaoge ghar?

Karan: abhi

Preetha: abhi? Itna jaldi kyun?

Karan: mood nai hein yaha aur rehne ka.Ghar jaake kuch kaam karunga kal se College bhi aana heina so need to wrap the work.

Preetha: haa.......mein bhul hi gayi.

Interrupting,Rishi and Aadya comes to them from opposite sides,

Rishi: Mickey

She turns to see him,

Rishi: ab ham chalna chahiye.

Preetha: abhi?

Rishi: 30 mins are over.

Preetha: hmmm.....Mr.Sharma ko bathaya na?

Rishi: Yeah........We should move now.

Preetha nods and sees karan who is busy in his mobile,

Preetha(high pitch): Let's leave Rishi

She says it in high pitch to let karan know of  their departure,

Rishi: hmm......(to karan)we will take leave sir.

He turns to aadya,

Rishi: Bye Aadya.That was a nice party.

Aadya: Thanks rishi.Thats our pleasure to have you both here.

Rishi(mind): But it's not at all our pleasure.

He nods,

Preetha: Bye aadya

Aadya(forcibly): Bye

Rishi: Come Mickey

He gives his hand,preetha about to put her hand on his when karan interrupts suddenly,

Karan: Hey Rishi I need a favor.

Rishi and preetha both turn to him,

Rishi: Sure sir tell me

Karan: Actually I don't have car can you please give me lift till my home?

It's a shock for the both.....they didn't expect this.Rishi looks at preetha who is looking at karan shocked.He knows he can't say No to him,

Rishi: Ye....yes sir.....sure!

Karan: Thank you Rishi.Shall we go now?

They are about to take a step when Aadya who is not expecting this stops them hurriedly,

Aadya: Wait.......

They look at her,

Preetha: What happened?

Aadya(mind): You happened that's why all this is happening.

Ignoring her Aadya speaks to karan,

Aadya: Sir aap ja rahe ho.....I mean party apki aur dad ki collaboration keliye rakhi hein agar aap nai hoga tho dad ko sab log puchega.aap thoda der ruk jayega tho acha hoga.

He sees her for a second,

Karan: I know Miss Sharma isiliye sirf mein ja raha hu.Mera bhai yahi rahega party khatam hone tak.Actually he was the one who dealt with your father I came just to appreciate him and meet Mr.Sharma as respect.So don't worry apko koi problem nai hoga mera bhai handle karega sab.

Aadya has nothing to say to stop him but still tries,

Aadya: Sir atleast you can inform dad before leaving......he won't be worried.

Karan(firmly): I already informed him.I know my courtesy Miss.Sharma.Good night.

She shuts her mouth seeing his firm attitude.Glancing her once,karan leaves from there followed by preetha and rishi.

Arun comes to Aadya who is looking at their way,he holds her through shoulders but she doesn't look at him,

Arun: Karan left ?

Aadya: Why did you not ask him to stay dad?

Arun: I don't have reason to make him stay Aadya.He told me he wants to leave.How can I stop him?

She doesn't respond so to lighten her mood,

Arun: Maybe he didn't like the party
After all he is Mahesh Luthra's son,Chief of Luthra industries who would have attended much more opulent parties and people.

Aadya: No dad....... it's because he likes someone else.

Arun frowns,

Aadya(without looking at him): Preetha.

Arun: What? You mean that girl who came with Rishi.

Aadya doesn't respond,

Arun: I thought she is Rishi's girlfriend.(thinking)I saw them...... they didn't even look comfortable with eachother.......I think you are mistaken aadya.

Aadya: No dad they are very comfortable.I saw fondness in their eyes.

Arun(unbelievable): I can't believe what you are saying.....maybe you are just assuming things.

Aadya(irritated): I am not assuming  I am very sure about them.You didn't saw Karan when you are speaking with Preetha.....he was staring her.He danced with her a while ago and as she was leaving he also left the party.Do you still think I am assuming?

Arun: Ok ....ok......it might be attraction also nothing much than that or do you think something else?

She thinks about them,

Aadya: You are right they are just attracted dad.I mean who is not attracted to Karan.....he is handsome,good, successful businessman.So Preetha got attracted and he is attracted to her because she is the topper.

Arun: So what are you going to do now?

Aadya(smirking): Just wait and watch.

Arun: I can't wait to expand my business aadya do whatever you want I want you in his home soon if you can't just tell me I know how to put you there.

Giving a glance to her,he leaves from there.

Aadya(mind): Very soon your wish will be fulfilled and mine too.

She smirks thinking of her plan.

IN CAR

Rishi is driving,Karan is beside him and preetha is sitting at back seat.

Karan: My address......

Rishi: No need sir.Just one word with Google anybody can get your address.

Karan smiles,Rishi drives, preetha observes.

It's a 30 minute drive which went peaceful with slow songs and silence.They entered the lane and Rishi could see the huge white mansion glowing in white lights.They are few metres away from the entrance gate where the security is standing when karan asks rishi to stop,

Karan: You can stop here Rishi I will go from here

Rishi: No sir I can drop you at gate

Karan: Actually there will be some procedure regarding security so you better stop here I can manage

Rishi: Ok sir

He stops the car,

Karan: Thank you

He says it to Rishi and looks at preetha through the rear view mirror,

Karan: Good night.

Rishi wishes,preetha nods.

He gets off the car and walks towards his home while preetha comes to the front seat.Rishi drives the car along the lane passing through Karan's house while she keeps on looking at the silver name board shining with lights at the entrance gate,

She murmurs the name with a smile on her face,  " LUTHRA MANSION" .
