One year later

     I sighed, thinking about the past. My heart still ached at the thought of him and I couldn't bring myself to stop that. Even after every moment of my life, I couldn't stop thinking of him.

     It was a never-ending cycle of thoughts in my head.

     I walked out of the bakery and headed towards the elementary school that my younger brother was in. Everyone was running around in the playground as they waited for their parents to pick them up. I felt a tug on my leg and I saw my younger brother. I ruffled his head and said, "let's go home now."

"Will we get to see mommy and daddy today?"

That question struck me hard. Although he had asked this question many times, I was always surprised and didn't know how to respond. "Not today since they're busy," I smiled weakly. My brother frowned, but held my hand as we started to walk back home.

I accidentally bumped into someone and I bowed, apologizing. "It's been a long time, Mi Rae," a familiar voice said.

I immediately knew who it was. I stopped what I was doing and looked up. My heart was beating fast and I swear I was going to break up in tears when I saw the person's face.

"Hello, Jungkook."
