Panel 1: The Halloween town fair. There are concession stands and game stands -- they are Halloween-themed. A Ferris wheel is in the background. People walk and talk to each other some of them are eating while they walk. Few little children have big plush animals in their hands. 

Cap: It was a pretty warm day for October. Thank god, I didn't take my hoodie with me.

Panel 2: Jason walks through a small crowd of people in the town fair. He's wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt, black jeans, and dark gray shoes. 

Cap: I never liked going to town fairs. I had bad memories from them.

Panel 3: This panel is a flashback, sepia-tinted. A clown makes a silly face at Jason, who's six years old, sitting in the bleachers. Jason sits between a man and a woman -- his mom and dad, thirty-five years old, burying his face in his father's arm. There are other people sitting in the bleachers. 

Cap: Bad memories.

Panel 1:  Rear-view of Jason as he walks. There are other people walking by, talking to each other and some kids accompanying their parents.

Cap: Anyway, I got what I needed to get payback.

Panel 2: Jason's hand is on his pants' pocket, kind of cradling it.

Cap: Chad wouldn't know what hit him.

Panel 3: Jason looks to the right as he walks, uninterested. There are people and concession stands in the background.

Cap: After all, Halloween is not about treats...

Panel 4: Over Jason's shoulder, he spots a purple and white game stand. This game stand has stuffed animals on the purple and white wall. A man is inside the stand and behind its tabletop, he rests his face on his hand, elbow on the tabletop, bored.

Cap: ...it's about tricks.

Panel 5: Jason raises his eyebrow, curious.

Jason: Hmmm.....

Panel 1: Jason walks over to the purple and white game stand, hands in pockets. The man is still resting his face on his hand, elbow on the tabletop. There are people walking and talking to each other, a few stand around.

Jason: I guess I can give it a try.

Panel 2: Over Jason's shoulder as he stands at the game stand, the bored man is still in the same position as before. There are bottles stacked up in the background and three blue balls on the tabletop.

Bored man: Knock down the bottles and win a prize.

Jason: How much it cost?

Bored man: Five dollars.

Panel 3: Jason holds the blue ball in his hand, he's apathetic.

Jason: Whatever... it's not like I'm going to win.

Panel 1: Jason walks by the concession stands, while holding a medium-sized white teddy bear with a heart on its stomach. Some people are walking, a couple of them look back at Jason as they walk. 

Cap: Later...

Jason: Chad and Sophia should be around here somewhere.

Panel 2: Jason gets his attention grabbed by something off-panel.

Panel 3: Over Jason's shoulder, he spots Sophia, Chad, and a couple of people at a yellow and white game stand, Chad seems to be talking to others except for his girl. There are other town fair stands in different colors and people in the background. 

Jason: There they are.

Panel 4: Zoom in on Sophia, Chad, and a couple of people at the yellow and white game stand. Chad is chatting with his pals -- probably his football teammates. Sophia is bored, looking on her phone, probably texting. 

Jason/Cap: Looking at her, how could he not see it?!

Panel 5: Jason furrows his brow, frustrated, anger is in his eyes.

Jason/Cap: This was unbelievable!

Panel 1: Jason stares at the teddy bear in his hand.

Jason/Cap: As upset I was, I decided not doing it now was for the best.

Panel 2: Over Jason's shoulder, he's looking at Chad's group with disdain.

Jason/Cap: I had to wait for the perfect moment.

Panel 3: Sophia spots Jason walking away. There are a few people around and a couple concession stands.

Panel 4: Sophia narrows her eyes, a little curious.

Panel 1: Jason walks by the concession stands and games as he slurps on his soda through a straw, in his left hand. He's carrying the teddy bear he had won in his right hand, up to his chest. [Note: people walk in the background.]

Panel 2: Profile of Jason as he looks down at his soda cup in his hand.

Jason/Cap: I needed to find a way to get him away from Sophia...

Panel 3: Jason stares upward at the sky/us, hopelessly.

Jason/Cap: But how though? He always hung around his pals.

Panel 4: Jason strokes his chin in thought, trying to formulate a plan.

Jason/Cap: Maybe if I--

Panel 5: Jason looks over his shoulder at someone/us, in shock.

Someone (off): Jason!

Panel 1: Sophia runs over to Jason/us as she waves her hand.

Jason/Cap: What the--

Jason/Cap: --she left Chad?!

Panel 2: Profile of Sophia and Jason. She happily walks up to Jason as he looks at her, bewildered. 

Sophia: Nice to see you! I didn't expect you to be here.

Panel 3: Over Sophia's shoulder, Jason shrugs his shoulders with his arms out, trying to play it cool. He's holding the teddy bear in his right hand and his drink in his left.

Jason: I was bored at home.

Panel 4: Sophia's face lights up with happiness. 

Sophia: Wait a minute, is that...

Panel 5: The white teddy bear in Jason's hand. The teddy bear has a smile on its face.

Sophia:...a teddy bear?!

Panel 1: Jason looks at the teddy bear in his right hand.

Jason: Oh this? I won it from a game.

Panel 2: Sophia's hands extend outward as Jason's hand brings the teddy bear closer.

Jason (off): You want it?

Sophia (off): Yes!

Panel 3: With her back facing Jason, Sophia embraces the white teddy bear happily with her eyes closed. Jason watches on in the background, with a small smile.

Panel 4: Profile of Sophia and Jason. Sophia looks over her shoulder at him, with a content smile. Jason drinks his drink through a straw. 

Sophia: Thank you...

Jason: You're welcome. You want to see what other things the fair has?

Sophia: Yeah, sure!

Panel 1: Jason and Sophia ride bumper cars and are having fun! There are other people riding bumper cars in the background. 

Jason/Cap: I felt like I was in a dream. 

Panel 2: Jason and Sophia are at a small pig petting zoo. Jason pets one of the pigs as Sophia watches, while holding her teddy bear.

Jason/Cap: I'm with Sophia -- the Sophia Bryce of Lafayette High!

Panel 3: Jason and Sophia are at a game stand, pointing their toy guns, shooting orange balls at something off-panel. 

Jason/Cap: We were having fun together, enjoying each other's company.

Panel 1: Jason and Sophia are walking and talking to each other as they go by the concession stands and game stands. There are other people at some stands, a few of them are walking by these teens. Jason is holding a blue stuffed elephant in his hand. 

Sophia: I never knew you're a good shot!

Jason: Well, my uncle and I used to go hunting.

Sophia: I bet it was fun.

Panel 2: Jason looks a little disappointed.

Jason: I guess you're going back to your boyfriend?

Panel 3: Sophia rolls her eyes, disgusted.

Sophia: Ugh, don't remind me.

Panel 1: Profile of Sophia being upset as Jason looks at her.

Sophia: That asshole... so sick of him.

Jason: What's wrong?

Panel 2: Rear-view of Sophia and Jason walking as she has her arms out. 

Sophia: He's an obnoxious piece of crap. He's always rude to others.

Panel 3: Jason raises his eyebrow, being confused.

Jason: Then why are you dating him? 

Panel 4: Sophia rubs her forehead, her eyes are closed -- feeling stupid.

Sophia: He was charming and sweet on our dates.

Panel 1: Sophia looks over to Jason. Jason forms a thin line on his mouth, reflecting.

Panel 2: Jason's and Sophia's legs and feet as they walk. 

Jason (off): You're too sweet for Chad, Sophia.

Panel 3: Sophia closes her eyes, being calm. 

Jason (off): You need to--

Sophia: I'm breaking up with him. 

Jason (off): Huh?

Panel 4: Profile of Jason and Sophia. Jason looks at Sophia in shock as she looks straight ahead.

Jason: When?

Sophia: After--

Panel 5: Jason is scared as his eyes are wide open. 

Someone (off): Pipsqueak!

Panel 1: Chad and his football mates looking at Jason/us with anger written on their faces. [Note: Chad's football friends are a variety of different sizes, but exudes jockiness.]

Chad: What are you doing with my girl?!

Panel 2: High angle, Chad and his gang face Jason and Sophia at quite a distance.

Jason: Ch-Chad?! How's it hanging?

Jason/Cap: Welp, my plan's screwed.

Panel 3: Profile of Chad and his gang, being pissed.

Chad: I thought I told you to stay away from her.

Panel 4: Profile of Jason as he puts his hands up to calm the situation down.

Jason: I know, I know! I'm sorry for not listening.

Panel 5: Jason's hand in pants' pocket, trying to get something.

Jason (off): I can give you my money.

Panel 1: Chad's fist slams into the palm of his other hand.

Chad (off): Money isn't gonna save you, asshole!

Panel 2: This panel and the next two are going to be diagonal. Chad and his football gang rush at Jason as Sophia moves away.

Panel 3: Jason's hand pulls out a small transparent spray bottle with yellow liquid in it.

Panel 4: Jason sprays the bottle at Chad and his friends -- directly in their faces. [Note: a yellowish cloud in their faces.]

Panel 1: Chad and his friends coughing. [Note: the yellowish cloud becomes more transparent.]

Chad's friend: It smells like piss!

Panel 2: Jason's hand grabs Sophia's hand.

Panel 3: Jason and Sophia run while he holds her hand. Chad and his friends are in the background, on the ground.

Jason/Cap: So, we ran away from them.

Panel 4: Profile of Jason and Sophia running past the concession stands and game stands. People look at them as they run.

Jason/Cap: I didn't know how long we ran for, but it was worth it.

Sophia: That was fun!

Panel 2: Sophia laughs with her eyes closed while Jason smiles.

Sophia: I didn't know you have that.

Jason: It was payback.

Panel 3: Sophia wipes her tear off her eye, still giggling.

Sophia: You're an absolute riot!

Panel 4: Jason rubs the back of his head, a small smile on his face.

Panel 5: Rear-view of Jason and Sophia as they walk.

Sophia: You want to hang out, again?

Panel 6: Jason looks at her/us, warm smile.

Jason: Sure.

Jason: So, that's about it.

Panel 2: Jason folds his hands behind his head, looking up.

Jason: We're together, if you're wondering. I got my revenge.

Panel 3: Jason shrugs her shoulders, arms out.

Jason: But, yeah. That's about it.

Sophia (off): Babe, are you coming?

Panel 4: Jason holds up a gold medal necklace with a smile.

Jason: Yeah, in a minute.

Jason: I got this from track. In your face, Chad!

[Hi guys! I hope you enjoy this. This is my first attempt in comic writing. In my opinion, I think I can do a little better by trimming the dialogue and other things. Overall, what's your thoughts on this?]
