The time was six twenty three a.m. Two Reporters were seen entering the Smith's Grove Sanitarium. The Smith's Grove Sanitarium is a facility for the criminally insane and is located in the town of Haddonfield in the state of illinois. The two reporters entered the facility as they were thinking about the case that they have been examining for a while.

Aaron Joseph Korey is his name, He is a true crime podcaster and reporter who has talked about numerous cases in the past.

Dana Haines is her name, She is a true crime podcaster and reporter who has also helped Aaron in numerous cases.

Today the duo were gonna interview a murderer who has been admitted to the psychiatric hospital for forty years.

Aaron and Dana were walking through the facility as they noticed some doctors treating some patients as they continued walking until they heard someone calling their names as they saw who it was.

Dr. Ranbir Sartain is his name. He is a psychiatrist who has been studying the murderer's case for forty years. He was also the one that agreed for the reporters to interview the murderer.

Sartain: Good morning, I'm Doctor Ranbir Sartain. I'm his psychiatrist.

Aaron: It's great to see you Doctor. Thank you for arranging this interview.

Dana: We were hoping to take this opportunity to interview him before he's transferred to another facility.

Sartain: I see.

The Trio began walking through the facility as they continued talking to each other about the case.

Aaron: We heard he hasn't spoken a word for forty years.

Sartain: Indeed. I also suppose the state has lost interest in him too.

Dana: Why wouldn't the state of Illinois give a death sentence to him after what he has done?

Sartain: They wanted to study him. They want to know what makes him tick.

Aaron: And that's why we're here.

Sartain: Alex Crowe has been my life's obsession. I have examined every single case file written on him. In fact after his arrest, I was assigned to study and look after him.

Aaron: Any progress?

Sartain: Well, he's been seen by over 50 clinical psychiatrists, and with each, many different opinions about him. However I met a visitor who has said something about him.

Dana: May we know who the visitor is?

Sartain: Her name is Margaret White And she concluded that he was nothing more than pure evil.

Dana and Aaron looked at each other as they continued walking as the two reporters continued talking to Sartain.

Aaron: We heard he has been given different names since his arrest.

Sartain: Indeed. However they have given him two names. Those name were The Shape and The Bogeyman.

Dana: May we know what else did Margaret White said about Alex?

Aaron: The fact that a visitor who has no connection with Alex seems to know more about what he is made us curious about what else she said about him.

Sartain: Other then her calling him a devil. She never visited here again.

The trio made it to the courtyard as Sartain said something to the reporter.

Sartain: And There he is. He can speak but he chooses not too.

Aaron: I like to stand closer to him if I may. Get a sense of his awareness or lack of awareness.

Sartain: Oh make no mistake. He's aware. In fact he has been watching you two arrived.

Aaron nodded as he was gonna walk until Sartain stopped him as he said something to him.

Sartain: I suggest you tie your left shoelace. Mr. Tovoli, The gentleman with the umbrella has a fixation for such things.

Aaron nodded as he tied his left shoelace and saw Lance Tovoli staring at them as Aaron continued walking as Dana was following him until he told her to stop as he noticed Alex Crowe.

Alex Crowe is his name. He is fifty nine years old and has been captive in the hospital for forty years.

Many years ago, On Halloween Night. Alex Crowe who was ten years old killed his entire family and was arrested after the neighbours heard some strange sounds coming from their houses. He was sent to Smiths Grove Sanitarium for rehabilitation.

However On October 31st 1978, Alex Crowe who was nineteen years old escaped from the hospital and went to the town of Chamberlain where he went on a killing spree before the town was destroyed by an earthquake.

He went back to his hometown Haddonfield and killed three people before he was arrested and sent back to Smith's Grove Sanitarium.

Aaron: Hello Alex, I heard a lot about you.

No response was heard from him, He was just staring at the ground. Dana was recording the interview as Sartain was looking at Aaron and Alex.

Aaron: My name is Aaron Korey. I've been following your case for years and still know very little about you. I'd like to know more. About that night. About those involved. Do you ever think about them, Alex? Feel guilt about taking their lives.

Once again no response was heard from him. He continued looking down on the ground as he didn't even look at Aaron. He sighed to himself before he spoke to Alex.

Aaron: I got something for you Crowe.

Aaron: You feel it don't you Alex? You feel the mask.

Suddenly one of the inmates began screaming in terror as Lance Tovoli was scared and began panicking as Alex continued looking at the ground.

Aaron: Say Something. I know you can feel it.

Suddenly the guards noticed the dogs were scared and began barking as they were worried as Dana and Sartain noticed the inmates around Alex began screaming in fear as the others were trying to break free from their restraints as Sartain was looking at Alex who wasn't even looking at Aaron.

Aaron: Say Something Alex! Say Something.
