Parker...

Parker's day started exactly the same as Ash's, except the beginning of his dream was even stranger than Ash's. It was even stranger for everyone that was captured by Captain. 

The Dream...

Parker awoke and immediately leapt onto his feet. Everyone was gathered, each person puzzled as to why they were waking up in the Pokemon Master Alliance's headquarters. 

"Am I dreaming?" Cilan was the first to ask, everyone still looking around with confused expressions.

Parker was the only casual person in the situation. He just shrugged and carried on as he did in the real word, almost like he wasn't dreaming.

"I was going to ask the same thing" May looked around from within her cage and something struck her mind. "I remember escaping from here already. What's going on?"

Everyone discussed the possibility that they were all dreaming at the same time, like some sort of strange phenomenon. 

"It's so hard to piece together. One thing is for sure, we need to retrace our steps from the real events" Clemont deduced and Miette took a deep breath, which made everyone turn to her.

"Will we have to witness Serena die again?" everyone could see the pain in her eyes as she asked.

"We don't know what is going to happen, so just try and stay calm, okay?" Gary was a little harsh, but his words were true. 

They all followed the same steps and got to the boats when Parker suddenly changed. He suddenly had the expression everyone else had as they set off on the boats.

Am I dreaming?... He wondered in his own head, wondering what was going on. Parker had seemingly started dreaming later than everyone else, so he was unaware that the others were feeling the same effects.

The boats continued on their journey, towards Serena and Ash, when Parker instantly stopped dreaming and woke up with a shock, rising into a sitting position.

Parker felt a little strange about the dream. He had an extra question in his mind that he replayed over and over again as he prepared to find Ash.

Why did my dream start on the boat...?

Gary's Location...

Gary was wondering around, waiting for Parker and Cilan. The dream he had was the same as everyone else's and he knew this was true since they were all sharing the same problems. It seemed as though it was possible they were not aware of it in the real world, so Gary was ready to test this.

"Have you been waiting long?" Gary turned to the sound of Cilan's voice. Cilan stepped forward and closer to Gary. "I am going to instantly assume you had 'that dream' too?"

"That's right. It's very strange. I can't understand what is going on" Gary sat down on a nearby log and Cilan joined him.

"Clemont could be a big help in finding out" Cilan suggested, but Gary's instant head shake made Cilan avoid bringing up Clemont.

"He wants time and space to think about things. The dreaming situation, if it is affecting all of us, will be making it harder for him to cope and think. The same for Miette and even possibly his sister, who have been taking the previous situation worse compared to the rest of us" Gary kicked the front of the log with his heel and rested his arms across the back of his head.

"That's true. When Parker arrives, what can we do to find out more?" Cilan wondered, but then he clicked his fingers straight away. "We sleep"

"Exactly. If we want to find more answers, we sleep. Maybe someone already has. Maybe everyone needs to be sleeping simultaneously for it to work?" Gary rubbed his chin in thought.

"It's a good thing we are all here then, isn't it?" May's voice came from behind the two and they both turned to see the whole gang, except for Ash and Parker.

"I thought no one else was going to show up..." Cilan mumbled to himself. 

"Well, after the first dream we all need answers. This may be tough but we have to carry on and find out what exactly is going on" Iris explained.

"I think we may be connected to another version of ourselves" Clemont explained his hypothesis briefly, confusing a few.

"What do you mean?" Dawn and Miette asked at the same time.

"Brother don't-" Bonnie tried to stop Clemont from talking, but he started too fast.

"Essentially, I believe there are multiple universes, like timelines that have split off from ours and have been recreated to change the events of the real universe. Where we are now, we can consider the real one. The dream we are having is our beings connecting with the ones in another universe. Alongside this, since it is a universe in which the events have been changed, Serena could be alive in this 'dream' or whatever it is we are experiencing"

"I just had to digest way too much information" Dawn knocked on her head to check if she was hollow.

"Serena could be alive? Are you serious?" Miette ignored the other pieces of information.

"Well, we don't know what kind of limiting factors there are to these 'dreams'. First of all, we could be disconnected from this world pretty quickly and not dream about it again. These dreams could be telling us something that we need to find out. It seems like we all have to be sleeping to experience them too, so everything relies on us sleeping" Clemont explained further.

"What about Serena?" Miette asked a stupid question and her face dropped. "Don't answer that"

"What about Ash?" Bonnie asked, realising Ash could be involved too. 

"I spoke with Ash, he is also the same" Parker came walking up finally and joined the group.

"That's why you're late, I imagine" Cilan shrugged.

"So now what?" Misty finally spoke.

"We sleep of course" Brock interjected with a shrug. 

Everyone had packed their sleeping gear and set up for an afternoon nap. Coincidently, Ash was just falling asleep.

The gang were all on their boats, heading towards Ash and Serena when the events occurred and their questions were answered pretty quickly.

On the shore stood Serena, being hugged by Ash, who was as shocked as ever. Everyone else masked his expression and they all shared a moment.

"Whatever happens, act normal. Do not cry or act surprised. We can't arouse suspicion. Serena should be dead and she isn't, we need to know more" Clemont said under his breath, mostly aiming at Miette and Bonnie, both of them swallowing hard.

 They reached the shore and got off of their boats.

"What happened to you guys?" Serena asked, receiving silence for a few seconds. Parker decided to take charge.

"Team Shadow took control of Captain. He is the leader of the Pokemon Master Alliance. We had to escape from him and come here. Everything seems under control now, so what's next? Where are Team Shadow hiding?" he asked, looking around and inspecting the damage. Everything looked pretty much the same, except for a few minor details. 

Ash was getting freaked out, even more, considering he did not realise they were dreaming at  the same time. His mind was playing the events of him finding Serena while his eyes were watching Parker and her converse like everything was okay. Parker dismissed Serena after a moment and she headed to the gang, while Parker took Ash to a private spot to talk.

"You okay, you seem shaken up?" Parker asked, smirking playfully

"N-no..no I am fine. Just... freaked out" Ash replied quickly.

"I bet you are, being in a 'dream' and all" Parker did air quotes and Ash turned to him.

"How...?" Ash began, but Parker raised a finger up.

"Serena might hear us" Parker began. "First of all, we are all dreaming at the same time. I am not sure how, but something strange is going on. The whole gang in the real world are currently asleep, in the Sinnoh region"

"This is a lot to digest" Ash pulled a straight face, confused and then sighed. "I was going to head over after seeing your expressions so I could talk about my findings, but it seems like you are finding out for yourself"

Parker then explained Clemont's idea to Ash, who took a few extra minutes to digest the information. Afterwards, Ash sighed. 

"So this is a parallel universe?" Ash asked.

"In essence, yes. We will most likely be in the real world during the day and this one at night...it seems weird, but the more we sleep the more answers we find. The real world seems to be very far ahead compared to this one, so we have lots of time to find answers and work with" Parker moved forward, slowly heading back to the group. 

"Let's get to work then" Ash took the information in the back of his mind, thinking about other things in the front.

"Shall we track down Team Shadow?" Serena asked. She received silence, everyone still not being used to her voice being around anymore. 

While Serena was talking and the crickets chirped, Gary stared off into the distance. He wondered about what Clemont had said and the possibility of different worlds, wondering how different his life was in the other worlds. If he was actually one of the most successful trainers in the Kanto region. Although his thoughts were filled with greed, one particular thought was stuck in his head since he had started dreaming. 

Gary wondered if Ash was going to try and somehow stay in this parallel world. 

Miette was trembling from her position on the floor, trying her best not the cry. She gripped hard onto the rocks on the floor to try and stop herself from shaking.

"I think saving the Pokemon Master's will be better first" Ash proposed this as a plan, looking at the others with a clear expression. 

Parker and Gary understood it, at least. 

They understood full well that Ash wanted to do this in the real world too. Awakening them in both worlds seemed to be a good start for the possible answers and plenty of back up for facing Team Shadow.

With so many answers needed and lots of things to do, Ash and his friends prepared for the next few weeks. The trouble lay ahead for them all and they were not prepared to take it. 

They were not prepared for the answers and the new journey that awaited them.

As you can tell, the next few chapters are going to be quite repetitive, but in different perspectives. It may seem the same, but it is because it is in third person.

The next chapter will focus on 3-4 people at once, then the rest of the group. After that, the chapters will be about their plan to save the Pokemon Master's and then the last few chapters will be the finale chapters, at which point the previous announcement will be brought up with a new announcement.

I will try to update more and more over the next week, you guys deserve it for being awesome.

This chapter was a little bad in terms of writing and general stuff, so I apologize. I can't blame me being tired or writing at almost 1am.
