Groudon arrived at the encounter, the Pokemon known for making new continents appearing faster than Team Shadow had expected and they instantly began their work, the antenna's beam turning red, this time, causing Groudon to change, Primal Groudon appearing before Team Shadow. The energy from Groudon was taken and as soon as this occurred, Jeremy brought out the mind control machine that they had used during the tournament one year ago. Within moments, Primal Groudon and Kyogre's eyes changed, both of them clearly under the control of Team Shadow. 

Meanwhile, Parker was in the middle of a conversation with Ash.

"Pikachu still hasn't woken up yet and everyone is all over the place, we might still take a long time" Ash replied to Parker after Parker had explained the situation.

"Okay then, I will hold them off on my own," Parker said, before disconnecting the call. 

"Wai-" Ash was cut off by the call suddenly ending and sighed, before rushing to contact everyone else.

Parker clutched two Pokeballs in his hands and threw them both, Umbreon and Bisharp coming out of their respective balls.

"Umbreon, Bisharp, it's time to put your power to the test" Parker watched both Pokemon as they nodded and then jumped over the rocks, onto the path that was next to the sea, the water lapping up onto the stones. Parker pulled out another Pokeball and put it into the water, his Gyarados coming out, rising from the water with a menacing look. "Long time no see"

Gyarados grunted at Parker who just hopped onto his water-Pokemon, mega stone in hand. 

"Gyarados, mega evolve" Parker spoke casually, while Team Shadow was still busy contemplating their own handiwork. Gyarados and Parker still had a bond strong enough to allow the mega evolution and Gyarados became even more menacing, a Pokemon with fighting on its mind. Umbreon and Bisharp hopped onto Gyarados also and they made their way towards the boat.

"What's that?" Elizabeth spotted the Gyarados almost instantly and then realised who it was after asking the question. "Parker!"

"Absol-" Jake was about to throw out his Pokeball, but The Boss threw out an arm.

"Let our new toys handle this, we should retreat for now" he advised, before nodding to the captain of the boat, who started to  move backwards, retreating from the rapidly approaching Gyarados. 

Suddenly, a large blast of fire hit Gyarados, causing Parker's Pokemon to rock. Parker forced himself around Gyarados, keeping a steady grip. Umbreon clawed onto Parker's back, ripping up his jacket in the process. Bisharp managed to keep his balance with ease, not being phased by the attacked. 

"Huh?" Parker turned to Groudon, who was staring hard at the intruders. Parker knew that the mind control machine had been used and threw out an arm. "Umbreon, shadow ball, Gyarados, hydro pump!" 

Gyarados and Umbreon merged their two moves together, the hydro pump becoming surrounded by a dark energy, the shadow ball mixing into the water-type move. The move slammed hard into Primal Groudon, sending the legendary Pokemon back, but not much damage was done.

"Bisharp, focus blast on Kyogre!" Parker wasn't about to forget the other Elephant-sized problem and Bisharp put everything into generating the huge yellow orb of energy, firing it off like a laser at the Primal Kyogre, who took the hit with ease. 

"Kyogre, Groudon, destroy him!" The Boss called from a megaphone, the boat still slowly retreating back. The two legendary Pokemon, despite their long rivalry, turned to Parker and a flurry of attacks immediately followed, bombarding Parker and his Pokemon. 

"Bisharp, focus blast on the water!" Parker had to shout over the impact of the fiery and water-based attacks. Bisharp leapt into the air, firing a focus blast at the water, causing the water to splash up, large waves shielding Parker and his Pokemon from view. "Perfect, Gyarados, take these waves and cook us up a surf!"

"Make them all suffer!" The Boss continued to shout, his voice fading as the boat still continued to retreat.

Gyarados used the waves rising up from the focus blast and sent them flying over Groudon and Kyogre. Groudon was distracted by the water, but Kyogre wasn't affected at all.

"Just as I thought, Gyarados, earthquake!" Parker grinned as Gyarados splashed the water with its incredibly large tail, causing the earth around them to rumble and shake. The water level began to shift, the waves being forced upwards around everyone. Even the boat struggled, the waves being too big and strong, sending it up and down constantly. The ground stopped shaking and Parker decided on a new strategy. "Umbreon, shadow ball and Gyarados, fire blast!"

Umbreon fired the shadow ball at Kyogre and then the fire blast came from behind the explosion, encasing Kyogre in flames, the fire exploding around Kyogre, who still seemed unaffected by Parker's attacks, as did Groudon, who had shaken off the surf attack.

"We need to retreat, quick" Parker tapped Gyarados and then hopped off his mega-evolved Pokemon, who changed back to his normal evolution and Parker returned him, before returning his other Pokemon, a fatal mistake. Groudon attacked Parker with a flamethrower, the flames ripping up the stones and narrowly missing Parker, who fell back from the force. Parker landed hard against the rocks, cutting up his hands. All he could do was run back to the original spot he was at, which forced Team Shadow to return so their plan could continue. 

"Groudon, Kyogre, let's go" The Boss used the opportunity to escape with the legendary Pokemon, something Parker couldn't let them do, but he had no choice. Before he could realise, both Groudon and Kyogre started to glow white, several white orbs forming from this light. Each orb was simultaneously shot at Parker, each one exploding around his hiding place. Parker fell back from the explosion, hurting himself in the process. The dust cleared and Parker poked his head up. No one was in sight, only the leftovers from the battle. Rocks were destroyed, the new land created by Groudon, who had walked across the water, creating rocky-surfaces made from his own body temperature.

"Argh" Parker groaned, holding his arm and moving away from the scene, towards a Pokemon Center. He sat down inside and spent the next few moments recovering. However, he became restless really easy and headed out again, wondering what to do next. He contacted Ash, but no reply came. With Team Shadow retreating, he had to make sure he knew where they were going to be next. 

"Are you okay?" a stranger asked Parker. The stranger was wearing a sailor's uniform, seemingly one that represented a captain of a ship.

"I'm fine" Parker shrugged off the man and walked past him, despite having scratches on his back and arms, his jacket completely ruined.

"You don't look fine...Parker" the stranger grinned as Parker stopped, turning to him.

"How do you know me and what do you want?" Parker asked, with violence in his voice. The stranger lifted his hands up and gestured for Parker to calm down.

"We have the same enemy, me and you. Almost a week ago, a team known as Team Shadow froze and captured all of the Pokemon Champions. I am the founding father of the new Pokemon Master Alliance, the name is Captain" Captain tipped his hat, but his face was serious. There was no time for messing around.

"Are you here to help or just to tell me who you are?" Parker asked Captain, who couldn't help but grin even more. 

"You see, we possess lots of technology and...I can pull a few strings and have a team track Team Shadow every single day of every single week until you and your friends can stop them" Captain made an offer that intrigued Parker. Right when he needed something to help him, the one person who was quiet about the current affairs decided to come into the scene and offer his assistance. Parker nodded and Captain forcefully shook his hand, making it official. "We will set everything up right away if you don't mind coming with us"

"Where to? I need to meet with Ash and his friends as soon as possible" Parker wondered what might happen if Ash arrived with no knowledge and everyone had gone.

"Well to the Pokemon Master Alliance headquarters of course!" Captain hooked an arm around Parker's shoulder. "Don't worry, we will get your friends there too"

"Okay then," Parker walked on with Captain, whose grin turned into a menacing evil face, his eyes flashing red as they headed towards the port.
