Chapter 15 - Dreams, Plans, Action!

With another day over, one of peace, the gang decided together that a full plan was needed. With the necessary information, they were all ready to move forward and stop Team Shadow once and for all. However, some information was still missing, but they had one person in mind to help them with that.

Ash and his friends had packed up everything and made their way to a Pokemon Center, where Ash called Parker, the others waiting in the main hall.

"I had a weird feeling that you might be contacting me" Parker almost instantly replied to the call, staring at the screen with a casual grin.

"We need your help" Ash started, before telling Parker everything that had happened since he had left the region. Parker's expression changed throughout the story until Ash mentioned Team Shadow's full plan.

"They just went and told you the plan? I suppose they never change" Parker chuckled to himself like he had remembered something, before straightening up and staring seriously at the screen. "Without the champions to help us, we have no choice but to go in blind. I know how we can find them"

"How?" Ash wondered, also thinking about the possible answers Parker could give.

"Just give me another day and I will meet you in Kanto. I will have their location by then, I promise" Parker had a serious look, something Ash had rarely seen, so he assumed Parker was going to stick to his promise.

"We'll leave it in your hands for now, but we will establish a plan while you're not here and change it if anything needs changing. See you later" Ash waved at the camera and Parker nodded before the call was disconnected.

"What did he say?" Serena wondered as Ash sat down. She rested her head on his shoulder and yawned lazily.

"He will meet us tomorrow and promised he would have the location of Team Shadow" Ash replied, before glancing down at Serena. "You okay?"

"Tired" she replied, sticking to that position.

"He promised it?" Cilan asked, rubbing his chin firmly.

"I think he will have it, he knows them well" Misty nodded to herself and stood up. "We should get going"

"Where?" May asked, before receiving a look from Misty that said 'duh'

"I don't want to keep carrying my stuff everywhere, so I am going to go home and unpack it all" Misty picked up her bag and hauled it onto her back.

"You're right" Serena moved from Ash and hopped onto her feet, before turning to him. "Plus, I bet your Mom will have plenty of questions"

"Should we tell her about the possible danger?" Ash wondered as everyone followed suit, taking their things and heading to their various hotels and homes.

"Of course, I mean, after the fires, she should know something is up. We sort of drifted away to the camp without saying much" Serena pointed this out.

Ash barely reacted to Serena, the thought of the fires brought back the dreams he had been having, causing a great pain to throb in his head. Ash stopped walking and clenched his head tightly, wincing at the pain.

"I'm okay" Ash put his other hand up to Serena, who had a concerned look on her face. Ash stood up straight and smiled. "Let's go"

"Are you sure?" Serena looked at Ash, who still seemed to be in pain, but he forced another smile.

"Yes," Ash said, the images from his dreams still pooling into his head. At that moment, the image of Serena, with the red eyes, the eyes that told Ash she wasn't the same anymore, flashed through his head. Ash felt a jolt of pain and collapsed onto the floor instantly.

"Ash!" Serena yelled, dropping onto her knees to check on him, shaking him violently.

"Wakey Wakeyyyy" Serena's voice sung in Ash's head. This was the first thing Ash heard upon waking up. However, looking around, he could see that he was in the same dream he had been trapped in for a long time.

"Why am I here and why are you here?" Ash asked the Serena that he never wanted to see, but knew he would eventual see, again.

"What a stupid question. Does this not suggest anything?" Serena's cold voice replied.

"I think I know. This means that Serena is struggling, just as I am, right?" Ash was on his knees, looking up at Serena, who was smirking from her standing position, looking down at Ash.

"Of course. You better start embracing me, because that's what she will be doing soon"

"That won't happen, just leave me and her alone" Ash stared hard at the Serena before him, but she shrugged him off and walked off towards the darkness.

"When you 'saved' her, part of me was still dormant inside her body. You can't stop me from awakening. Just give it time" Serena walked away and the dream faded.

Ash was brought back to reality and awoke with a harsh jolt into a sitting position, Serena staring at him from the end of his own bed, back home. Ash looked around, puzzled, and then sighed.

"Are you okay?" Serena's worried voice asked Ash. Her eyes were red, Ash could tell she had been crying.

"I'm fine, nothing you should cry over" Ash's voice was calm and soft, to keep Serena from getting emotional. She smiled and then let out a nervous laugh.

"I know, I am a big softy" she got up from her seat and turned around to Pikachu. "I can't believe he is still asleep"

"I wonder if he is okay. I gave him to Bonnie while we were in the Pokemon Center and totally forgot. He has been asleep for almost two days now" Ash sighed, wondering if Pikachu could ever recover from the explosive power he had been given. Ash remembered the anger he had from that moment.

"He'll wake up soon, don't worry about it. What we need to be doing is working on another plan" Serena sat down next to Ash on the bed.

"Do we need a plan B?" Ash thought about the fact that Serena could change at any moment and the plans Team Shadow had.

"Of course, I think you know why and there is also a little more that we need to consider" Serena looked at Ash, who was staring back in a momentary daze. He had never seen Serena put so much thought into something, so he had to listen.

"Like what?" Ash prompted her and she began.

"Well, we haven't based our plan off of anything. Will Team Shadow already have the legendary Pokemon's power? Or, do we plan on stopping them before that happens? Also, what about..." Serena hesitated, but Ash knew what she was going to say, so he stopped her from saying it.

"When that time comes, I will do anything to keep you safe" Ash replied with a serious voice.

"Anyway," Serena said, moving on. "We need to make a plan around those factors"

"I think, if we can stop them before they gain this experimental power, then we should try our best. Before that plan can be worked out, we need Parker" Ash rubbed his chin and thought for a moment, giving Serena room to butt in.

"What about the first point?" she asked Ash, who stopped rubbing his chin.

"If we consider the first point, then we would have to fight the power they obtain or the legendary Pokemon and then try to stop them by destroying whatever they have obtained. There is so much we need to find out, but I guess that's the hard part because we can't find it all out until Team Shadow show it to our faces" Ash took a breather from speaking, lying down on his bed.

"By then, we won't have time to plan" Serena let out a sigh, realising their chances were pretty slim.

"Let's just rest for today. Everything will start when Parker arrives" Ash looked up at the ceiling and Serena lay down next to him. They fell asleep right after that, even though the sun was just setting.

Ash's words were wrong. Things had already started without them realising. In the middle of the deep blue Hoenn sea, the group known as Team Shadow were beginning their experiments. By awakening the legendary Pokemon known as Kyogre, they were sure enough that Groudon would also appear, allowing them to make their experiments twice as effective. With everything in place, The Boss couldn't help but smirk with excitement. Kyogre rose from the sea and into the air, splashing back into it, clearly angered by the people on the boat, Team Shadow.

"Jeremy, hit the switch" The Boss called and Jeremy nodded, before flicking a switch. Suddenly, the whole back-end of the boat opened up and a large machine came out, with an antenna. The antenna began to glow blue in colour and a beam shot out, connecting to Kyogre. The antenna suddenly caused Kyogre to undergo primal reversion, becoming Primal Kyogre.

"The blue orb worked!" Elizabeth jumped for joy. Team Shadow had stolen the blue orb, which had awoken Kyogre, who was now Primal Kyogre.

However, Jeremy increased the antennas signal and Primal Kyogre started to screech, clearly in pain. The wave changed direction, coming back into the antenna.

"And so it begins," The Boss said to himself, grinning maniacally.

With Kyogre awakened, it was Groudon's turn to put Team Shadow's plan one step closer to success, while Ash and his friends were none the wiser that Team Shadow's plan was already going down. Except for Parker.

"Bingo" Parker grinned to himself, watching from a distance. His experience and past with Team Shadow had allowed him to find them. He turned away and decided to contact Ash, a certain level of urgency rushing into his body as he realised that they all had to head to him as soon as possible.

Everything was beginning.

The destruction that Team Shadow promised was near.

-----------

Just to note, this will in no way be as long as Going For Glory, probably just under half of the amount.

You will find out EVERYTHING in the coming weeks, so hold on tight. The story is only beginning and should make more sense soon (I don't know if it is confusing, but I have tried to incorporate everything I have used up to now and it seems fine to me)

Have a good day 'Mericans and a good night everyone in Europe.

(Good whatever time it is in AU too, I can't forget about dem Aussies tho)
