Philip and Enid

Name: Philip Wiserbrook

Age: Philip Just turned twenty, an age he is proud of living up to, to say the least.

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

Role: Delicate Daisy

Personality: Philip certainly has something against people helping him. The thing he says most often is probably "I'm no charity case." The trouble is, no one seems to believe him.

In spite of wanting to be, Philip is certainly not independent. He needs people with him to keep him sane. Philip tends to ask others to help him figure things out just to make sure he's doing it right.

Philip does have a bit of a dreary side to him as well though. People just get him that way sometimes. During these episodes is when he's least independent. Watch out for that.

Mostly, Philip is in denial. His philosophy is "If you believe something long enough it will come true." Bless his heart because he actually believes it with his entire soul.

Appearance: My Other Husband

Reason Why They're On The Train: Philip's stepmother, otherwise known as the woman who basically raised him, is very ill. He wants to get back to her so he isn't forced to see his father pretend to be upset at her funeral service. That, and she's basically been his best friend for years. He knows you don't get that very often.

Backstory: Philip remembers a shocking amount about his early life. The farthest his memories go was when he was three and running around outside with his biological mother. That was it. She vanished that same year under mysterious circumstances.

When Philip was four, his father remarried. Philip's stepmother adored him and vice versa. They spent ages together outside in rain or shine.

When his father and mother divorced, Philip stayed with his mother. The two of them were inseparable. His mother said he kept her sane.

When Philip started going to school, things were different for both of them. Philip had to start facing the fact that other kids were stupid and his mother had to let go a little bit. Every day though, they'd still talk about everything in perfect honesty.

Philip was gone at art school when his mother took ill. Only time will tell what happens.

Other: N/A

Name: Enid Asherthin

Age: 23, barely and respectively.

Gender: Female

Sexuality: She doesn't know, no time to think, you know.

Role: Ticking Time Bomb

Personality: Enid is way too used to hearing "Step back." That seems to be all anyone ever tells her. She listens, yes, but only because she has to. Someday they'll regret ever snapping out at Enid

Enid has a full mind that's almost bubbling over. It gets dangerous in there sometimes with all her brains and schemes and altogether madness. The nice people she knew would tell her she was ahead of her time. Others weren't so kind.

It isn't like she doesn't try to fit in; she does. Enid is just a bit odd, again, ahead of her time. Her sense of humor is too morbid to handle, especially in that little community she's from. Someday she'll come to terms with the fact that they'll never understand.

Enid has always been a woman of quick assumptions. A quick thinker, she always has some speculation about others around her. This tends to get her into a lot of trouble a lot of times.

Appearance:

Reason Why They're On The Train: Enid is running away. She has been for the past four years. Nowhere is right for her because she's always messing up, poor kid. Or maybe it's everyone else can't handle her.

Backstory: Enid was born in an obscure Norwegian town. Her mother and father were, to say it in plain terms, loaded. She grew up under a rousing chorus of "Enid, don't step there," and "For heaven's sake, Enid, where are your manners?" For a while, in her younger years she would keep her sarcastic retorts in her head.

One day, at age ten, she casually forgot. All hell literally broke loose. This was likely the first time she realized how powerful her words could be if she used them in the right place in the right time. A whole new world was opened up.

She went to a boarding school until she was fifteen, at which age she was pulled out by her parents who had learned from a professor that their daughter was "causing a stir in the other pupil's education." She sure did get a lecture on that.

At nineteen, under the cover of the stars, Enid left. She boarded the next boat overseas and was finally free. She had absolutely no intention of going back, whatsoever, and her parents couldn't make her do so anymore.

Other: Enid is fluent in both Norwegian and English
