Isak + Peppy
Name: Isak Robin Thornton
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Faceclaim: Mike Faist
Species: Mike Faist
Personality: Isak is certainly a little angel. Sort of. He's not too intimidating, unless it's a Saturday morning. There's a calmness around him that attracts other people. He hasn't got a centimeter of unkindness in his bones. The worst he's ever said to anyone is to tell the, to shut up.
His intelligence can often make him seem slightly cocky though, but no one has the heart to say that to his face, bless his soul. He knows he's always right, and won't hesitate to explain exactly why you or anyone else is wrong.
There is a little hole in his soul that just really wants to settle down with his slightly crazy family. He wants everything to work out and be fine, although that's a lot easier said than done.
Isak stands out, to say the least. A little oddball who learned everything he knows from self help books and stupid mistakes.
He does have his fair share of secrets though. Such as the fact that he only talks truly to certain people because he's afraid of what they might do to him. Isak knows words are easily twisted, and he doesn't exactly want himself in a bad situation. Deep water isn't great for Isak, seeing as he doesn't know how to swim.
Role: The Middle Child
Hobbies: Isak enjoys, best of all, writing. He could write for days. Fiction is his main interest but journalism draws him in as well. It's really just the thrill of people listening to him without him actually having to answer. It just feels nice.
Running is a clear passion of his. If there was ever some sort of disaster he'd be the first one out. This is more of a secret though. He only runs during early mornings.
Isak was actually teased for this back when he was in school. He was the only male in his entire section in band, playing the flute. This wasn't really that strange, but some stupid kids found it as a golden
opportunity to torment him. He's still good at it, he actually was first chair, although it's not his main focus.
Likes: Long walks with people he likes. If he were to be murdered it would be during one of these, because he takes them at night with his scapegoat friend when both of their emotions are raw.
Pears are a delicious food. He really does want a pear tree. His bedroom is scattered with little saplings in small Tupperware containers. They never live long, though that doesn't stop him from trying.
There's a special place in Isak's heart for small things. Small as in shot but extremely kind. The sort of small you don't notice until after the fact. Kind of the sort of small you get when you write someone a letter but they don't find it until years later when you're gone and they just cry over it. Yeah, that sort of thing.
Dislikes: One thing Isak really can't stand is absolute jerks, such as several people he's come into contact with. They're the kind of people who mess with your friends to piss you off. They're the only sort of people that Isak could ever consider socking in the face.
Isak has a slight allergy to Tomatoes. Or maybe he's just saying that to get out of eating them. Either was, he dislikes the fruit or vegetable and all of the stupid arguments behind it.
Isak doesn't exactly enjoy large crowds of people. Anyone who truly knows him knows this. And this isn't a lot of people. Even most of his family is unaware of this fear. Sneaking out is only acceptable in these sorts of situations, that's his personal Philosophy.
Flaws: Isak is too headstrong, Apologetic, and Bothersome. Too intent on detail and perfection. Things aren't going to be perfect, but he hasn't seemed to figure that out yet. There are a few people out there trying to spell it in his face.
Strengths: Oh Isak is very good at keeping quiet when it is absolutely necessary. That and making people feel wanted, even if he doesn't actually mean it that sincerely.
Backstory: Isak was born on a Sunday in the middle of April. It was raining. He didn't cry much, and everyone thought something was wrong with him. He lived perfectly fine though, so no one thought anything of him until he started school.
Isak was odd from the start. He worked on his schoolwork intently, never talking to anyone, never talking in class. He always got top marks though. Everyone said something was wrong with him.
In highschool he played the flute and made a friend. Sort of. More of a tag along comrade who liked to talk about the world ending and how the economy was going to crash in a couple of years. He still didn't talk much, just listened. A lot of people made him believe something was wrong with him.
When he graduated all of the professors said it was a wonder he didn't ever graduate before. The thing was, they didn't pay enough attention to put him forward. Isak didn't care all too much though, he knew something was wrong with him, and sort of embraced it.
Quotes:
"I'll never make you wonder if the things I tell you ain't the honest truth."
"Lend me your hand and we'll conquer them all, lend me your heart and I'll just let you fall."
"Wouldn't change it if I could"

Activity: 6.5 to 10.00
RP Example: Isak was dead intent on convincing Peppy to walk with him this time, even if the foreseeable future was bleak. Heck, even if they'd both end up dead he needed a walk. It might take time, and a few stones thrown at her window. Hey, maybe she might even hiss at him that she'd come if she stopped throwing rocks because he'd wake the neighbors and all hell would break loose. Once he reached her house Isak was glad to see her light was still on. He picked up a smooth rock from off the ground and tossed it at her window, missing. He never really had a thing for coordination. Luckily, the sound of it bouncing off the side of her house made her window fly open. She obviously knew that he was coming, she'd just been waiting for the moment. Peppy stuck her head out of the window and glared at him.
Name: Peppy Lerwitski™
Age: 18
Grade: She's a senior 12th
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Faceclaim: Nana Komatsu
(This is my favorite picture ever 🔽)
Species: Human
Personality: What a dismal little character this girl is. Her most defining trait is her utter commitment to the idea that the world is ending. Peppy says it's happening any day now.
Peppy is certainly a little pessimist. She refrains from telling people about herself because she "doesn't think they can handle the intense pain and suffering." In reality she's a bit of a hypochondriac. Her immune system is a bit frail though, come to think of it.
Peppy talks a lot. Mostly about death and things, but sometimes she can be a little more serious. Actually, most of the jokes she cracks are about the inevitability of death.
Peppy has a very matter of fact, old fashioned sort of persona. She's is certainly the smartest little cookie. She just talks with big words like she knows more than she does.
She should really stop being so defensive. Try to fight her and she will pummel you. Somewhat with her words. Peppy is good at hitting sensitive spots. She also has a way with insults. Fight her and she will certainly fight back.
Role: She's a student. A mighty fine one at that
Hobbies: Oh the wonders of Photography and cinematography. Peppy is rarely seen without her techy cameras around her neck. It depends on her mood, but her shots can stretch from videos to polaroids.
Peppy likes studying psychology a little bit more than the average Joe. In fact, she devotes a lot of her free time to studying up on the science that her AP science teacher said was fake science. She really did hate him. Peppy is actually thinking of going into forensics.
Peppy is really into music. As emo as she is, she still happens to play the viola. She does a bit of singing on the side, but has never really had a knack for songwriting.
Likes: Peppy likes when she's got people to fight for. This isn't really a broad spectrum, because on general terms people avoid her. Peppy is an angel from heaven to the outcasts, that's for sure.
Peppy is most delighted by plants. Watching them grow slowly is magical to her. Often, her camera is cluttered with seemingly identical pictures of plants day after day. She enjoys playing them together and watching the plant live and die. It's a strange habit.
Peppy really enjoys smiling, even if she doesn't do it all that often. She's more of a stony faced smirker. She believes that smiles are special and should only be shared with the most special of people.
Dislikes:One thing Peppy absolutely hates is people who are too good to be true. Those social butterflies, as they might be called. Peppy is obviously not one of them and preferred to disassociate herself with them entirely.
She is also not a fan of almonds. She once watched how they were harvested and has hated the initial idea of the nut ever since. She would rather not have her food sit on the ground for a week, please and thank you.
Peppy hates the dark. Some might say she's afraid of it. It takes guts for her to take those late night walks with Isak. She tolerates him, so that's the only reason she does it, or so she says.
Flaws: Peppy has got a shrewd look on her face just about all the time. Alongside that, she's extremely accusing and pessimistic. All for the sake of the world going up in flames.
Strengths: Peppy is extremely prepared for anything, thank the heavens above. If there ever was a disaster she'd be first person out and safe. She's also got a knack for keeping people alive.
Backstory: The only people Peppy couldn't keep alive were her parents. Not that it was her fault. Peppy isn't even sure what "it" is. Her aunt, who she lives with, just refers to it as "That unfortunate Accident, bless your soul child".
According to Aunt Matilda, her late father's sister in law, Peppy was born in late December. An only child, her parents adored the living heck out of her. Until "That unfortunate accident, bless your soul child."
From an early age Peppy showed signs of aggressiveness toward the other kids she knew. It was mostly just mumbling under her breath, but there was the occasional throw of her fists when someone got on her nerves.
She seemed to grow out of it by highschool, by that time she was top of all her classes and still going higher. This was when she met the odd boy with the flute and no friends for the life of him.
They got along well, she punched a few people for him, he listened to her talk about the end of the world and life was good.
When Isak graduated, school became a hell on earth. Still, Peppy didn't let that deter her too much, and she still worked as hard as possible, although she was a bit more upset and pessimistic.
Quotes:
"Everybody look down, it's all in your mind"
"I've just been sitting her counting ghosts"
"You look scared again."
