There was silence for a moment, until Miryanna fairly exploded, "Then whatever am I to do?"

Iphnis just looked at her, a slightly puzzled expression on his face. "Whatever are you to do?" He repeated.

"Yes! My worst enemy is roaming at will through my home, I have no way of getting news to the erglis of him, there's this new and higher power he's told me of that I have no idea how to fight, and I'm practically losing my mind!" Miryanna exclaimed as loudly as she dared.

Iphnis didn't say anything for a few more seconds, studying her. Finally, he took a deep breath. "Since when did this become all about you?" He asked steadily.

His words surprised Miryanna. "I-It's no... not?" She started out as a statement, but as his words were made more clear to her, it changed to a question.

Iphnis smiled and waited for her to figure it out.

Miryanna's face fell as the full clarity of his words came to her. "Oh, I--I guess I see what you mean," She said slowly, then quickly, "It's not all about me, it's just, I'm the only one who knows what's going on and

another thing I should have thought out more comprehensively before falling back on generic message to insert in story. A good one, but not the best placed. It serves fine, but I should have actually thought about it. Even if you're going to write the same thing whether you think about it or not, it can make a slight, but tangible difference when you actually know what you're doing. And now that I don't have a deadline or anything i have little excuse.
