Virgil

I quickly stuffed my headphones in my bag, throwing on my sweater and speeding down the steps and towards the kitchen. Ma was there reading a book, she smiled at me, "Hello Virgil."

I grunted and grabbed an apple, taking a bite and turning towards the stairs, "HURRY UP VIV WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!" Soon after my shout Vivian descended, "Jeez you're loud, I was touching up my lipstick."

I rolled my eyes, pulling my hood over my head and walking out the door, "Bye Ma." We both said in unison. About a few yards away from our house, Vivan handed me my makeup and a mirror.

I sighed, pulling down my hood, "Thanks, Viv." She chuckled, "No prob." We sat at the bus stop, waiting for the city bus to arrive. We're always early, I just say we're gonna be late so Ma wouldn't get suspicious.

As we waited I put on foundation and eyeshadow, along with glossy black lipstick. "How do I look?" I asked. Vivian nodded, "Like a true emo."

I snorted, "That's what I was going for." I quickly put my makeup away when the bus arrived. Viv and I climbed on, sitting in the back like we usually do.

Viv was scrolling through Instagram again, drooling over girls. "Come on Virge, she's a solid 10." She gushed, showing me a picture. I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, she's cute, but I think you're forgetting the fact that I'm gay."

She clicked her tongue, "Bitch, me too. Why do you think I'm showing you otherwise?" I snorted into my hand. Soon the bus arrived at our stop.

We hopped off and continued our trek to our highschool. On our way there, I spotted Patton and his boyfriend, Logan. Patton waved at us, dragging Logan behind him as he crossed the street.

"Virgie! Vivi!" Patton yelled, we waved back. "Hey Pat, how's it going?" Patton smiled.

"I'm doing good!" Logan sighed, fixing his glasses, "Love, you caught me off-guard." He stated, patting down his dress shirt.

Patton blushed, sheepishly smiling, "Sorry honeybee." Logan just smirked, "It's fine," He kissed Patton's head.

I fake gagged, "Ew, romance." Viv chuckled, "Uh-huh, you won't be saying that when you got a boyfriend."

I laughed, "Like I'll get a boyfriend." Viv shrugged, "You'll never know." We started walking to school, Lo and Pat trailing next to us. "I know for a fact that I'm never getting a boyfriend."

Third

Virgil groaned into his fist, math was so boring to him, he'd finished both sheets of work in under ten minutes and now he's got nothing to do.

He looked over to the door briefly, wondering if his sister was this bored as well. He shook his head, taking his eyes off the door when he heard the room's phone ring.

The teacher got up, walking over to answer it. Her heels clicked as she walked, her jacket swishing with each step. When she answered the phone her face fell before putting on a tight smile.

She walked back over to her desk, sighing, "We have a new student attending this class." The class cheered at an opportunity to brainwashing another student into their clique, at least, that's what Virgil thought they were planning.

Virgil groaned, great, someone else to look at him weirdly. about three minutes later, a knock sounded on the door. Virgil grumbled, setting his head in his arms. The teacher opened the door, smiling as the new student walked in.

"Hi, I'm Roman Kingsley, nice to meet you all."

Virgil looked up, he gasped. The most beautiful boy he's ever seen was standing in front of the teacher's desk.

He wore a white shirt and what looked like a spray-painted gold crown in the middle of it. He had a red sweater with a stitched in "P" into it hanging from his frame. His brown hair styled perfectly, his smile blinding.

Virgil may have started for too long, but Roman didn't notice. Roman took a seat in the middle row, a few seats away from Virgil. A blush formed on Virgil's cheeks as he ripped his gaze away from the male.

Viv is totally gonna tease me for this.
