93- Two wonderful women
Vivaan was pacing in the living room of the Midnight Pack's packhouse as he conversed with Nihal. Rehyaa was there with Vivaan when the call started but as the call took too long, she went to ready their room in the meantime Vivaan completed his conversation.
"No problem Nihal, I am sure you will make a right decision," Vivaan said, as he ended the call with Nihal.
Luna Mahira, who was already fuming from the information she got from the guards, totally lost it upon hearing Vivaan.
"Right decision?" She screeched, making Vivaan wince and rub his ears.
"Do you really think that taking in Moonstone pack's warrior was the right decision?" She asked, throwing her arms up in the air, before venting out to no one in particular, "What the hell was he thinking? Does he even know the repercussions if something goes wrong? He doesn't even know about our feud with Moonstone Pack's Alpha, and he just allowed that man inside. Even went as far as to take the whole responsibility."
"He is well aware of what a tool, Alpha of Moonstone pack is," Alpha Aarjav spoke, coming from behind, "Did you forget that Hritika injured the Alpha with her silver chain during the council meeting? There's no way Nihal would have dismissed that fact. I am sure there must a reason why he has allowed that man inside. I trust Nihal's capabilities."
"Of course you do," Luna Mahira muttered under her breath.
"However, I am confused about one thing. Why did he called you?" Alpha Aarjav asked Vivaan with furrowed eyebrows.
"To ask me whether it was alright for him to use Alpha's command if everything went wrong and a situation of life and death occurred."
"At least he has the brain to know that things can go wrong because of his absurd decision," Luna Mahira said.
While at the same time, Alpha Aarjav asked with a scoff, "Why does he need your permission to make an Alpha's Command?"
Luna's eyes narrowed at Alpha Aarjav, her palms itching to punch him straight at his face.
"Because he doesn't want to break his promise he made to us," Vivaan said. Although he was answering Alpha Aarjav's question, Vivaan was looking at Luna Mahira, wordlessly letting her know that her worries about Nihal betraying him were pointless.
It didn't take the Alpha couple more than a second to understand what promise Vivaan was talking about. Luna nodded slowly at Vivaan, remorse clear in her eyes.
"Will he always seek permission before using the Alpha's command? What if there's an emergency? The boy has to still learn how to not be such a pushover." Alpha Aarjav huffed, already making plans to start training Nihal.
"Nihal clearly got his traits from his mother. There's no way he turned out to be such a nice person with this man's DNA," Luna Mahira taunted, glaring at her mate.
Vivaan let out a laugh, before covering his mouth when he saw Alpha looking at him with narrowed eyes.
"Yeah, Kavya was a wonderful person. Thanks for acknowledging that," Alpha Aarjav replied in spite, hurting Luna Mahira where it hurt the most.
Luna Mahira schooled her expressions. She didn't want to give him satisfaction by reacting to his words. But Rewa, her wolf, cried loudly. Being inside Mahira, she had the sanctuary of showing her emotions out loud without anyone finding out.
"True. She must have been a wonderful person," Vivaan said, making a crack on Luna Mahira's stone wall. However, before she could break down, Vivaan squeezed her shoulder, giving her support, before speaking again, "It's funny how you got two wonderful women in your lives, yet you couldn't be a decent partner to even one."
"Let's go Mom," Vivaan said, before taking her away from Alpha Aarjav. "This man doesn't deserve you."

Rewa sprinted through the forest, leaving behind all the guards and Alpha Aarjav. Making a considerable distance between them, she let out a painful howl.
Her efforts were unsuccessful as everyone heard her howl. While Alpha Aarjav felt guilty, Aarav was furious.
"Having known your grieving heart, I have always kept quiet when you neglected our mate and pup. But I won't stay silent if you cross your limits. Aarjav, make my mate cry once more and see what I do," Aarav threatened.
"Aarav, I know you are angry, but—"
"My patience has run thin, Aarjav. Get better or I will completely take over."
"You should know your position before making threats. Because of the level of silver you have consumed, there's no way you will be able to over power me."
"If ungratefulness was a person then it would be you. For whom did I consume silver...if only I hadn't given into your pleadings, I would have saved so many heartbreaks.
"You might have been a victim at the start, but not now. You are slowly turning from being wronged to becoming wrong. Come back to your senses Aarjav before you lose everything else," saying that Aarav shifted back in the middle of the forest.
"Looks like I have to walk the whole way." Alpha Aarjav sighed, shaking his head at his wolf's pettiness.
Throughout his walk, Alpha Aarjav rewinded Aarav's words, trying to see the reason behind his abrupt reaction. Aarjav knew he had made many mistakes, but never had his wolf ever threatened him. Alpha Aarjav wondered what had changed.
While Alpha contemplated over his fight with Aarav, Luna Mahira and Rewa fought together as a team to get rid of their pain. They stopped near the borders, howling loudly, letting go of everything. The moment Rewa put her paw inside the Aberrant pack, Luna's composure was back.
Rewa and Mahira both were back to their elegance, not showing even a speck of grief their heart contained.
