Vivaan and Yara slept off for the rest of the night in the hotel rooms they had already booked.

One look at their face was enough to tell that their night was anything but good.

Being the future Alpha and Beta, they had the strongest wolves which made them highly sensitive to the noises that humans could easily ignore.

"This is so suffocating. Hopefully we won't have to stay here longer and we will be able to get back to our peaceful forest today itself," Vivaan mumbled to himself, clutching his head.

"Stop mumbling. This pain should be nothing for us. We need to build up our immunity against this, for us to be able to take care of our Omegas," Yara lectured as she came out of her room.

Vivaan raised an eyebrow at her as she sat beside him on the couch.

"You seem fine to me. How are you not affected by all this?" He questioned, looking shocked.

Yara rolled her eyes. "My head is on the verge of bursting. I was practicing not to show it outside. I guess it worked. We cannot look like this in front of our pack members. We need to show strength and confidence for them to have hope in their leaders," Yara explained, making Vivaan smile.

"You are right. That's why I need you. You are the only person who guides and corrects me without any fear," Vivaan praised.

"Well, it's not anyone's fault. There's a natural hesitance while trying to correct your superior. Even my dad has to gather a huge amount of effort if he wants to contradict our Alpha. I am not even sure why Sachi or I don't feel that fear," Yara replied with a little shrug.

"Who cares about the reason? I am just glad that you don't fear me," Vivaan commented.

Smiling at each other, both of them started practicing to hide their unrest.

Vivaan and Yara were ready to meet each of the Omega at their place but knowing the situation of high power wolves, all the Omegas in the town collectively decided to meet in the park.

Althoughbit wasn't exactly calming like a forest, still being in a park was far better than the other loud areas of the town. Such consideration from their people brought a sense of pride to the future Alpha. Vivaan was glad that he was going to become an Alpha to such wonderful members.

Everyone bowed in the presence of their Alpha's son and requested him to accept their gifts.

"What was the need for this? Your happiness is all that matters," Vivaan spoke, feeling overwhelmed.

An elderly Omega came forward and spoke for all the members present in the park.

"Please accept this. There are also gifts for Alpha and Luna. Make sure to give them our love. These small gifts are nothing in comparison to what they have done for us. We, the weakest werewolves, have gotten such respect because of our Alpha and Luna."

Another pack member came forward. This time it was a middle aged lady.

"If not for the new policies and ideas by our Alpha, we wouldn't have lived this life. Like our ancestors, we would have been treated as slaves. Plus our Luna has also done so much work for us. She was the one who made sure that we weren't bullied or mistreated and also gave us the confidence for starting work here. Please accept our gratitude."

"Yes yes. Please accept our gifts," everyone cheered, which made Vivaan accept those gifts with a huge smile.

"I promise to work just as hard. Please help me if I fall behind," Vivaan spoke in his usual charming tone.

Even though Omegas didn't get to have daily interaction with their future Alpha like other pack members, they had heard lots of stories and praises about him and now seeing him here, they knew that all the praises weren't just rumors.

"Is this our future luna?" A little girl asked, pointing towards Yara curiously.

Everyone's attention turned towards the girl who was silently standing behind their future Alpha.

"No no. I am actually the future Beta," Yara denied, waving her hands.

To say everyone was shocked was an understatement. Yara looked at Vivaan nervously, hoping that she didn't make a blunder by announcing it.

Giving her a comforting smile, Vivaan moved backwards to stand beside her. Turning towards the now silent crowd, he smiled.

"I hope you accept my Beta, just as you have accepted me. Trust me that my Beta is fully capable of the position and it's totally fine if you don't trust my mere words. In upcoming years, you will see for yourself that she is the perfect choice for our pack.

"I know this has not happened before but our pack is known for doing new and different things that have always benefitted the pack. I am sure you all know this better than me," he ended his speech in a knowing tone making everyone smile.

Who better than the Omegas would know the changing ways of this pack. Everyone agreed and greeted Yara warmly, making her sigh in relief.

Although she didn't show it, she was really afraid of their reaction. Vivaan took care of everything today but she had to buckle up now. It wasn't Vivaan's job to prove her ability. She had to prove herself so that no one could ever question Vivaan's decision.

She would never let Vivaan regret his decision.
