Nihal knocked on the door lightly and then entered the room. Yara sat up on the bed, looking at him with wide eyes as she wasn't expecting him to come so soon. Fear started to grow in her heart, thinking that he came to reject her.

Looking at her pale face, Nihal understood her train of thoughts and was quick to assure her.

"I am not going to reject you. Rejection was never an option. I just needed some time to come in terms with the situation and one encounter with Rahul was enough for that."

"May I?" Nihal gestured towards the bed and sat beside her after receiving a nod from her.

"Rahul?" Yara inquried with fear in her eyes.

She knew that nothing good came from his mouth and he had most likely worsened the situation.

"Forget him. He spoke nonsense and we all put him in place. If you are feeling okay then I would like to discuss about this mate situation," Nihal said tentatively, knowing that this was going to be a risky and awkward conversation.

Like he had predicted, Yara too looked uneasy. Giving him a small, awkward smile, she slowly nodded.

"Well, what I know about mates is next to nothing. It would be really helpful if you will inform me about everything that relates to being mates, not excluding anything even if it puts you in disadvantage." Nihal put forward his request as politely as he could, hoping that he wasn't being rude.

"Nihal, umm..see this is something that comes naturally to us and I have never listed off all the things. I will try my best to inform you about everything but there's a chance that I might miss out on few things. I promise you that if ever you find out something that I haven't informed you then it would be only because it slipped my mind and not because I wanted to hide it from you." Yara promised with all her heart.

Her sincerity showed through her eyes which made Nihal believe her in a second.

"Thank you so much for accepting us."

"Woah! Yara, Your eyes and voice. Wh...what happened?!" Nihal exclaimed, standing up in fright.

"Sorry for scaring you mate. I am Sachi; Yara's wolf," Sachi apologized with tears in her eyes, standing up as well.

Nihal clutched his heart, which was beating on an alarming rate. He took deep breathes to calm down before attending to his crying mate.

"Yara, sorry Sachi, please don't cry," Nihal requested in a soft voice.

"I am so sorry. In the excitement of you accepting the mate bond, I took over Yara to thank you. It didn't come in my mind that you have only accepted my human side and not me. I am really sorry for causing trouble." Sachi apologized in her broken voice.

This was completely a new territory for him. He wasn't even sure how to deal with wolves, neither their animal side nor the one he was facing right now.

"No no no, you are getting it all wrong. I have accepted both of you. It's just that I wasn't expecting you so I got startled. I am sorry for making you cry," Nihal tried his best to calm her down.

"You are not lying, are you?" Sachi asked after calming down a little.

She was one of the fierce wolves that could take on the world but was the most vulnerable person in front of her mate.

"No, I am not lying. I need sometime to get accustomed to all this. Till then, can you both please infrom me before changing your forms, so I won't get startled by the suddenness." Nihal requested hesitantly.

He looked so cute that Sachi wanted to give him a tight hug after squeezing his cheeks, but knowing that neither Yara nor Nihal were ready for that type of closeness, she settled for a sweet smile and muttered an 'okay' softly.
