Beta, Gamma and Yara took their leave and walked out of the Alpha's office. Vivaan too left after agreeing to meet near the pack entrance after ten minutes.

"Was it really necessary for you to embarrass Vivaan like that?" Luna questioned once they were the only people left.

Alpha Aarjav rolled his eyes while moving to sit on his chair.

"He made a mistake and I pointed it out. How else will he learn?" Alpha questioned back.

"You could have chastised him when you both were alone. There was no need to embarrass him in front of others. How are they going to respect him if you keep nitpicking at him?" Luna threw her hands up in frustration.

"My father did much worse to me yet everyone respects me," Alpha answered, giving Luna a victorious smile.

"One would think that after suffering so much, a person wouldn't inflict the same pain on others," Luna mumbled under her breath.

"You should stop babying Vivaan. As an Alpha, he would be expected to face much more than mere humiliation," Alpha preached.

Luna snorted. She would never let him have the last word.

"I would stop babying him the moment you start treating him like a son instead of your heir," Luna remarked and turned around to leave.

Alpha smiled painfully looking at her back. He did try to do that but that was impossible for him.

Luna stopped near the door. Turning around with raised eyebrows, she commented, "Vivaan is yet to become an Alpha and is still learning the ropes but what about you? You are the current Alpha, this situation is your responsibility yet you sounded too annoyed about having to explain everything. Let me remind you, clearing the doubts of pack members is also your duty."

Alpha chuckled after listening to her comment.

"You have too many complaints about me, don't you?" He asked with an amused expression.

"There's a whole list. If I start talking about it right now then we will lose our enemy. Let's not waste time. We will discuss your shortcomings peacefully after we capture those scent thieves," Luna glowered at the mention of them.

"Scent thieves?" Alpha inquired with an raised eyebrow, a small smile playing on his lips.

Luna shrugged. "They stole your and my pup's scent. So they are scent thieves. If you are done being amused then let's leave and capture those who tried to scare and endanger our pack."

Shaking his head, Alpha followed her. Meeting Vivaan at the entrance as they had first decided, they all shifted to their wolves.

Alpha Aarjav and Vivaan's wolves looked almost the same because of the same jet black coat they had. The only difference in them was the white ears Joy got from Luna.

Luna's wolf stood proud in between the two Alpha wolves, with her shiny black and white coat.

Nodding their wolf heads to each other, they set off towards the town.

Reaching towards the clearing they found the Omega representative already waiting for them.

Shifting back to their human form, they quickly wore their clothes and joined the representative.

The Omega representative bowed his head in respect.

"Alpha, Luna, what do we do? Everyone has hid themselves in their homes due to fear. We knew that the man wasn't our Alpha yet we couldn't stop ourselves from bowing down to him. What if he commands us to do something evil? We won't be able to live with this guilt," he spoke while continuously wiping his sweat.

Fear was clear in his eyes. He too wanted to hide in the safety of their home yet he was here to represent everyone. He was performing his duties even though his whole being was trembling with fear.

"That fraud has Alpha's scent but we have the real Alpha. Now that we are here, you don't have to fear anything," Luna comforted them.

Her tone was soft yet firm showing that she was confident. What happened next surely seemed like a miracle. Luna's confidence brought courage to the Omega. He was still worried yet he wasn't afraid.

"What should we do if we are given commands from the fraud?" He questioned.

Luna hummed and looked like she was deep in thought.

"Give everyone an Alpha command that cannot be refused at any cost. Tell them that except this command, no other command from Alpha or future Alpha should be followed until the situation gets better. Till then, ask them to follow Luna's command," Luna mind-linked Alpha.

Alpha raised his eyebrow at Luna as her idea circled his mind.

"What if there are other fraudsters? The one who smells like Luna," Alpha queried, not wanting to give out any command before thinking it through.

Luna huffed in frustration internally, not showing any emotion outside so that the Omega didn't get worried.

"Only Alpha's scent is reported. And in case something like that happens, we would come up with something else. This is not a permanent solution. Until we come up with something solid, let's use this," Luna explained her point.

Alpha Aarjav knew this wasn't the best solution but this would have to do until they could come up with something better.

He did as he was told and commanded every pack member through mind-link to only follow Luna's order.

Pack members were in a frenzy thinking about the new order as only Omegas were aware of the problem.

"Don't worry everyone. This is just a couple fight and Alpha has been punished," Luna announced, turning this problematic situation into a funny couples spat so that the pack wouldn't go into panic.

Alpha looked at his Luna with pride. They weren't the ideal mates but they were the best co-leaders ever lived in history.
