While Hritika and Nihal were having a peaceful heart to heart talk, on the other side- Alpha's office was in total frenzy.

"Beta, go and inform all the Alphas of nearby packs about this fiasco and also ask them if they have any idea about this," Alpha commanded.

"Don't you think that it is too early for informing other packs?" Vivaan questioned, feeling that they should first handle it on their own.

"It's our duty to inform the other packs. If these humans- heck I don't even know if they are actually humans. If they have come near our pack then there's a chance that might have infiltrated in other packs too.

"We don't know about their capabilities nor the amount of such people. It's for the best that everyone is on high alert," Alpha explained.

"Alpha is right. If our pack members are compelled to bow down at their sight then there's a chance that they would also be forced to accept their commands," Yara added thoughtfully.

"Even if our human side could distinguish between Alpha and a fraud, it would be practically impossible for our wolves to neglect an Alpha's command. Even if that had been given by a fraud," Beta spoke, his eyes full of tension.

"Let's not waste time. Beta- call the Alphas and make sure that other pack members don't get its whiff or else everyone would start panicking, worsening the situation. After that, start searching the library, in case something like this must have happened in the past.

"Gamma- Go and arrange some warriors to come with us and also tighten the patrol. Make sure no one enters or exits the pack after we leave.

"Yara- I need you to check each and every nook of our pack. Don't leave any single corner."

Everyone was baffled upon hearing Alpha's command for Yara.

"Alpha?" Beta called out unsurely.

Alpha Aarjav gave his Beta a small smile knowing that his best friend was worried for his daughter and had already made up a thousand assumptions behind this command.

Looking at Yara with a soft comforting smile, Alpha explained, "This is not a punishment or anything. Our tracking wolves would be useless this time as these humans smell just like us. Only Yara was the one who smelled something different, something unique. Thus, I want her to check the whole pack in case they have already infiltrated the pack."

Beta and Yara looked visibly calm while Luna caressed Yara's head affectionately.

"Gamma, send a warrior with Yara as she patrols the pack," Vivaan spoke. It was neither a command nor a request.

"Why? Is your female Beta incapable of fighting for herself?" Gamma asked with a raised eyebrow.

Alpha was going to step up but Vivaan beat him to it. Walking towards the Gamma, he looked at him with stern cold eyes and asked him a simple question.

"Do you want Yara to waste time by constantly looking over her shoulders for a surprise attack? Or would it be more advisable for someone to have her back so that she can fully concentrate on finding that particular scent?"

Gamma was left speechless. Coughing a little, he backed off. Sighing, Vivaan turned his face to look towards Yara who blinked her eyes indicating him to calm down.

"If all is clear, everyone, get going with your assigned work. Vivaan you will be accompanying me," Alpha ordered.

"I will be joining you two", Luna spoke up.

"We don't know the level of danger. I think it's best if you stay here," Alpha rejected her idea.

"You don't know the level of danger yet you are going, right? Then why can't I? Pack and its members are my responsibility too. Omegas are scared and they would need me to calm them down. You know that you can fight and protect but comforting is something you cannot do," Luna retorted.

Alpha Aarjav sighed, knowing that his stubborn mate wouldn't take no for an answer and agreed to tag her along in a resigned tone.
