Yuichiro frowned while occasionally moving his sore jaw around. As for me that punch did damage to my body. Why is that? If I'm a hybrid how could such a simple action do harm to me? Remember, I have the body of a human but the hunger of a vampire. That is, unless I transform to the supernatural side of myself. Even now my cheek hurts like hell.

I held a bag filled with drinks and snacks, as for Yuichiro he carried drinks and the boy who I had learned was named Yoichi carried a bag of bread and snacks. I should be ashamed at the state I'm in but its actually amusing. A half-breed now an errand girl? Charming.. "I-I'm so sorry, its my fault.." Yoichi said sadly.

Yuichiro ignored him and turned to Shinoa. "Hey, Shinoa. Help us with these bags." he said. She smirked as she only held her school-bag and looked away. "That's a funny joke." she commented. "You little.." Yuichiro growled. "I-I'm so sorry.." Yuichi said again. I frowned at the poor innocent boy. "Its fine, honestly. You don't have to apologize so many times. It gets you nowhere." I said and that somewhat made him feel a little better judging my his expression. That wasn't my goal though.

"He needs to stop apologizing every time! Gah, besides what's the deal? Why are you being bullied by them?" Yuichiro said, his voice filled with frustration. "I-I'm not being bullied.." Yuichi said. "That was definitely bullying. Don't try to hide it." I said with bored eyes. "N-No its true! I'm not being bullied." he said softly. "Huh?" Yuichiro said. "I-I had a favor to ask Yamanaka, so I asked him to add me into his circle of friends." he said.

"Who was Yamanaka?" Yuichiro asked. I sighed and rolled my eyes and since he saw he narrowed his at me. "What is it?!" he yelled. "I see, so you have a monkeys brain." Shinoa said. He was about to go towards her when I spoke up. "Monkeys are actually smarter then him..." I muttered and he turned his target to me, now holding a soda can over my head as if he would smack me with it.

"I dare you.." I grumbled at him. "He's the one who punched you two. The funny duo." Yuichi said and smiled. "We're not a duo!" we both yelled at him making him jump. Idiot! "R-Right!" he stuttered and Shinoa giggled. "Hmph, so it was that jerk." Yuichiro said and started back walking with us all following behind him.

"So, what did you want from him?" Yuichiro asked and glanced back. "I, um, failed the Demon Army entrance exam, but I really want to join, and Yamanaka is a potential recruit for the Moon Demon Company of the vampire extermination Unit." he said. Why does everyone want to join that team? Are we vampires that bad? I'm not surprised but..

"The Moon Demon Company? Him!?" Yuichiro said, shocked. "Even I couldn't get in! I-I'm going to kill Guren!" he yelled yet he was so bewildered by the words that had left Yoichi's mouth that he dropped his cans on the ground. Damn dummy. "S-So I was hoping Yamanaka had some contact and get me another chance at the entrance exam." he continued.

"I know its odd for a weakling like me to join the army but.." he trailed off. So humans identify themselves as something without even clearly looking deeply at their true nature. Hm.. Yuichiro softened his face and walked closer to Yoshi until their heads almost bumped. "But?" he said. Yoichi gripped the bag he held tighter against his chest. "I want revenge of my little sister." he said.

"Revenge?" I said. "To protect me, my sister was killed by a vampire. At that moment I couldn't go help her so.." he stopped talking. Revenge. Revenge. Revenge. It's going to drive the world mad. Now looking at it its us vampires who cause it. That sickening word, revenge. So..are we the real disgusting creatures here? Yuichiro sighed and picked up one of the soda cans that he dropped and bumped Yoichi on the head with it.

"Huh? Ow!" he whimpered. "Idiot , I don't believe you were in the wrong." he said. I smirked. "True, if you did try to save her you would've ended up dead too right? She wouldn't have wanted that." I said. My family wouldn't have wanted that, right? Yuichiro for once smiled at me a little and I got a bit flustered for an unknown reason. Yochi frowned and rubbed his head. "--But--" he was cut off. "No buts. Angel and I are right." Yuichiro said.

"I'm telling you this for your own good. Don't join the army." he said. "I didn't say all of that.." I whispered. "Most importantly,  your sister wouldn't want revenge right?" he said. Neither would your family, Yuichiro. He sighed and threw the can successfully into Yochis bag earning a gasp from him. "A little wimpy boy like you will get in the way of the vampire extermination group." he said.

I take back what I said earlier, humans are far more worse then vampires. We are only trying to live, nothing more. Yoichi started to grow tears in his eyes apparently hurt by the harsh words of Yuichiro. "Don't' listen to him." I said and stood alongside him. Yoichi looked at me intensely. "He doesnt know what he's talking about." I said. "A-Angel...do you believe in me? D-Do you think I could do it? Join the extermination unit?" he asked.

I looked at him for a minute or two as he dropped a single soda can on the ground. But I didn't get to answer due to the fact that suddenly Shinoa turned around quickly and a loud explosion was followed. The shockwaves, light-blinding vision, muffled roars, and debris flying in the air appeared so fast it was like a movie in slow-motion.

I widened my eyes as we all stood in the middle of the situation though still keeping my usual calm face down. "Emergency alert! This is a message for all students and faculty members! A vampire from the nearby biological research facility has escaped. All students.." but the alerting message was drowned out by Shinoa.

"Why is a vampire in a place like this!?" she said. "For food.." I said and carelessly released my food-filed bag,. "There's a vampire in this school!?" Yoichi shrieked and dropped his bag also. "hey, shut up for a second!" Yuichiro said seriously. "Vampires regain their strength when they drink blood. Please fo not approach the vampire even if you see it!" the message said.

"--You three please evacuate! I'll call the Moon Demon Company for--"

"We don't need them!" Yuichiro stopped her sentence. "I'll kill the vampire!" he said. "Are you insane!" I yelled. Whats with these dumb minded humans! Can't they understand that even a scratch could send them over the edge? Yet they will do anything to kill a simple vampire! "What!" Shinoa said.

"I'm actually going to kill one and force Guren to recognize me!" he said over confidently and didn't think for a second before running off towards the commotion. "H-Hey!" Shinoa yelled but he didn't listen. "Hyakuya!" Yoichi yelled. I grunted in anger. That damn idiot! God dammit!

I started up the steps until a hand grabbed my wrist. "What the hell do you think you're doing! Are you also trying to get yourself killed!" Shinoa yelled. I looked at her worried orbs and Yoichi's frightened ones.

"If I don't go up there he's going to get himself killed! He can't do it alone!" I yelled and snatched my arm away from her.
