"W-What are you talking about?" I asked, my voice filled with such low emotion that you couldn't tell if I was confused or just didn't give a care. "Yeah, what are you talking about?" Yuichiro asked with his right eyebrow raised. "Precisely as what I said. Lieutenant Guren has requested me to keep a sharp eye on you." she said.

Guren, I've heard of the name before from the mouths of these humans. From what I've heard he's a leader in the Japanese Imperial Moon Demon Company which is a high military group that deal with supernatural beings...like vampires. "Why?" I asked honestly curious to hear the reasoning. She shrugged sheepishly.

"Its not my job to know. Its only my job to follow his orders." she said. I grunted at that bland answer. I hated it. I hated it so much. "You're the girl that our teacher yelled at for not paying attention. Wasn't your name Angel White?" Yuichiro said trying to remember. I nodded slowly in reply. "I'm guessing you already know our names too. Considering you peaked over my shoulder when I was writing and Yuichiro repeatedly got scolded from the teacher, right?" she said.

Even though I didn't show it I was completely surprised by what she said. S-She noticed? H-How!? "R-Right." I accidently stuttered over my words. "You also probably heard my conversation with Yuichiro about his communication skills." she said. Yuichiro growled lowly and then grasped Shinoa's shoulders in a hurry. "Stop saying stupid things and tell that idiot Guren to hurry up and enlist me into the Vampire Extermination Unit!" he yelled.

God, he's annoying. Its as if revenge conquers his body and mind making him do whatever it takes to achieve his goal. "That I already have enough strength to kill them now!" he continued. "So persistent." I mumbled. "I know right!" Shinoa said with a smile and then handed a slip of paper. "H-Huh!" he said. "The LTC said you'd say that, so he told me to give you this." she said and with that he released her.

"Oh so he does get it!" he said cockily and opened it quickly. "We don't need a cherry boy that can't make a friend or girlfriend in the army. If you think this is annoying, then try making a friend and introducing him/her to me. Of course, I'm sure that's impossible for you." he said reading it aloud. "Argh!" he crumbled the piece of paper and threw it on the ground.

"It's not such a hard task. You've already met a person right here." Shinoa said and pointed to me. "Eh?" I whispered and met Yuichiros eyes. "Don't count on it." I said and he grunted in anger. He grabbed his school bag and stomped to the exit, but not before turning around. "All of you mocking me!" he yelled and slammed the door shut.

"Looks like I'll be going too." I said and only got two steps in until a hand grabbed my arm. "Not so fast Ms. White. Remember what I said? I have to watch you and Yuichiro from the orders of the Lieutenant." she said. "Let me go." I said. "Which also means that I have the ability to drag you anywhere I want." she said and sent me a cheeky smile.

"What are you two doing here? And how far are you going to follow me Shinoa? Isnt this enough?" Yuichiro said to us as we all stood in front of our lockers. "She's dragging me around. Its not like I want to come." I snarled, glaring at the purple-haired girl before me who tightened her grip on me. He frowned and made a 'tch' sound with his tongue.

"I'm afraid it isn't for the both of you actually. I'm officially both of your army surveillance officers." she said. "Tsk!" he said. She leaned in closer to him, dragging me with her. "Any army regulation will be reported to the LTC." she said. "Can you let me go?" I asked again. "Not a chance." she said and chuckled.

"P-Please stop!" a soft whimper erupted out of nowhere causing the tense atmosphere to flutter away. We stopped talking and turned around to where all of the commotion was coming from. "Huh? Stop? I'm just asking you to go buy something for me, cuz we're friends!" an eerie voice said and a hand pushed the small built boy on the floor.

Three boys then appeared from behind the lockers, staring down at their Vitim with amusement. "How peaceful. Well I'm going home." Yuichiro said fatly and swung his bag over his shoulder. Despicable.. "If that's your reaction to a scene like that then you wont be making friends anytime soon." Shinoa said and let go of my wrist.

"You want to be friends right?" the group leader of the bullies said while he smuggled his foot around in the boys short chestnut hair. You humans are truly disgusting creatures. "Hey..tough guy. Leave him the hell alone. What's your problem?" I said gently. The leader looked at me when a smirk curved up on his lips.

"Oh such a doll! What are you going to do about it, huh? Ha maybe you should become our livestock's too." he said and I widened my identical violet-white orbs. Did he just call me what the vampires address humans as? "A-Angel..." Shinoa said. "Hey, did you hear the lady? Give it a rest." Yuichiro said as he walked alongside me.

This guy..The leader hummed and stomped ramming the kid now facing his attention to us. "Who the hell are you two? Are you both trying to be damn heroes or something?" he asked. "Oh? So in reality you two are like a duo, hm?" Shinoa said but then stepped back when the group of big guys circled around us. Don't do anything stupid Angel..

"Hey! Wait I think you were right. They are trying to act as hero's." one of the boys who was chomping on gum hissed at us. "Nah, maybe they can be our errand pals instead of Yochi." another one of them said. "Errand pals?" I said. "Wow, you guys are really easy to read and understand. I love it." Yuichiro said.

He needs to shut his damn mouth or he'll get both of us crushed. I'm not going to be beaten by a bunch of humans. "It kinda makes me happy. All right you wanna fight?" he said with a confident look. "What?" another said and furrowed his eyebrows at him. "Shut up! I'm not trying to get killed!" I snarled.

"Don't worry! I'll protect you." Yuichiro said which I highly doubt. "Oh yeah I forgot to tell you Yuichiro, your suspension will be extended if you beat up a civilian." Shinoa said behind us. Dammit! I need him right now! I'm not trying to get bruised up here!

"Whaaaat!!" we both yelled at the same time and turned around to see her, but our careless actions were followed by painful forces against out cheeks.

Damn this human life...
