'Rosetta' smirked and wrapped her thin hands onto mine. "You're a smart one, huh? Maybe I was a little too easy on you." her beautiful sweet voice had slowly changed into a more low and sinister one which almost sounded like a male's voice had it not had that slight high tone. She immediately disappeared into a fury of ash, same with 'dad' and 'Coroline'.
The scene then started to form and change before me, transforming into the recognizable room that never leaves my head. The living room in our mansion back underground. I knew what was coming next. I could feel it. I took a deep breath and slowly looked in the middle of the room, soon piercing my fang into my lip to contain myself from screaming out.
Seeing their dead corpse and knowing it wasn't them didn't stop the quick pain inside of me to appear. It didn't stop me from feeling hurt and alone instead of the strong figure I look on the outside. It also didn't stop myself from feeling guilty all over again. "Do you like seeing them like this?" that deep voice whispered in my ear.
I scrunched my face up and turned around only to find nothing but air in place. "You know, dead and useless?" it asked again only this time the voice brushed against my neck. "Damn you demon...show yourself to me!" I barked and stomped my foot. "Oh? Showing emotion? How rare..." it hissed.
"Shut up.." I said. The voice chuckled as a mass of demonic ash gathered together and hovered itself over my family's dead bodies and facing me. "This is truly interesting.." the voice that was now coming from the ash said. "What is?" I asked, blinking a couple of times. "When you arrived here your heart was as weak as a feather. You had no determination to kill anything." it said.
"You're right...I didn't." I said. "But that changed in a short matter of time. You show no sign of it one your face but inside you're burning up with hatred and vengeance. Why at such a time?" the voice asked, now intrigued. I turned my hands into fist and clenched them tightly at my sides. "Because...I've realized that a vampire murdered my family. A vampire betrayed their own kind and their probably still out there." I grumbled.
"I want to find out who did it. I need to find out who did. No, I must find out who did it. If I don't then I don't see the point in continuing my life honestly. They were the only reason I strived forward and defended myself. They were my strength and now their gone because of a vampire. A vampire that I'm going to track down and kill with or without your help." I said and glared at the ash.
The voice chuckled for the second time. "I see, such a beautiful speech. Now then....close your eyes." it said. I didn't think for a moment when I obeyed and shut my eyes closed. A large breeze blew directly at my face causing my pigtails to fly like birds in the sky. That for some reason felt like the cue to open my eyes and when I did I was almost enchanted by what I saw.
The ground was made out of water except you could walk on it so, it was more beautiful then the regular sea or river you'd see. Above was like a void of the sky we live under naturally. But there was no sun but just clouds. It seemed peaceful to be here if I was being honest. "How long are you going to stand around like an idiot?" that voice said only this time it seemed much closer.
I turned around and widened my eyes when I finally saw who was speaking. It was a boy who looked around to be sixteen or so then again I'm not counting demon years. His scarlet hair was parted so that his bangs covered his left eye, though letting his other piercing green eyes free. "Y-You..your the damn demon..." I grumbled.
He smiled widely and brought his hands together. "Now! Now! There's no need to be mad! You should be happy I'm lending my power to you!" he said brightly. I frowned and folded my arms. His happy laughter came to a rather unsettling stop and his smile turned wicked. "Don't make me regret this decision. Or I'll make you regret yours.." he said.
"What's with you..." I mumbled. He regained back his childish smile and looked me up and down. "But I'm really happy I got an hybrid! Are you the only one out there?" he asked as he walked closer towards me. I forgot that I was still in my vampire form, dammit. "I'm pretty sure." I said.
He nodded and reached out to touch my cheek when he froze. "Are you trying to kill me?" he asked. "What are you talking about?" I asked. He pulled back and pointed to my bows that held up my pigtails. "Those things...do you know what they are?" he asked. "Of course I do. My mother bought them for me when I was young." I said.
He laughed at my answer and shook his head. "Is that what your mom told you? You fell for it? Honestly.." he laughed. "H-Huh!? Hey don't laugh at me!" I yelled at him. He giggled and met my eyes when he was done. "Those are an enchanted item. They protect any human, vampire, and even hybrids from a demons touch." he said. "No way.." I muttered and looked up at the bows.
"You're going to have to get rid of them." he said and huffed. "Those things could kill a demon. But that's only for real dumb ones." he said. These bows are the last things I have from my parents. Their the last things that ever gave me. But... I sighed and undid the silky bows that held my hair in place, freeing my long hair that flowed down to my waist.
The demon boy blushed when I did this and tried averting his eyes to anywhere but on me. "So, I just let them go?" I said. He nodded his head, still looking away from me. I hesitated but dropped the bows that then unnaturally caught on fire and disappeared into flames. Goodbye, mom..dad...Coroline... "There it's done." I said.
"U-Um anyways...I--" "Wait, I want to make a deal with you." I interrupted him. He blinked a couple of times and smirked. "Oh really?" he said. I took a deep breath. "I want to use you for the time being. I want to use you to find and kill the vampire that murdered my family. Once that's been done....you can have me." I said.
He widened his eyes. "W-What?" he said. "When I kill the vampire that killed my family you can posses me. Do whatever you want to me. Kill me if you want. That's my deal in exchange for helping me." I said. His smile grew bigger which made him look even more menacing. "You're such an interesting hybrid!" he said and giggled.
"Do we have a deal?" I asked. "Eh?" he said and instantly appeared behind me in a matter of seconds. "Of course." he whispered in my ear that sent a gentle shiver down my spine. He chuckled and took a step back, turning on his heel and smiling. "I get your body in return for your foolish revenge? That's fine with me.." he said.
"I wouldn't call it foolish.." I hissed. He smirked and put his hands behind his back, staring daggers at me. "I never did tell you my name did I?" he said. I shook my head. "I'm Sebastian Charles. Your new cursed gear weapon." he said. I smiled. "Glad to hear that." I said and snickered.
He nodded as black smoke began to circle us heavily. "Looks like it's time for you to wake up Angel Lionel." he said. "I believe so." I said and my skirt started flying a bit along with my now free hair. I closed my eyes and leaned my head back. "By the way Angel before you go can I ask you something?" Sebastian said. "Sure.." I mumbled.
"Why is there another demon inside of you?" he snarled. I opened my eyes quickly and moved my head down to face him. "What are you talking about?" I asked. He narrowed his eyes at me and puffed his cheeks. "Nothing..." he grumbled and then looked at me again.
"Now then....wake up.."
