"I like it! I've been waiting forever for something like this." Yuu said as he stepped up to his chosen weapon, a simple sword. I gazed at the remaining weapons with Yoichi deciding on a bow-and-arrow and Kimizuki with connected twin-swords. My eyes landed on a well-sculpted and almost over-sized Halberd. It was a beautiful dark black, a green stripe going across it smoothly.

These weapons have killed hundreds of vampires and yet here I am about to obtain one. I may be human but I'm also a vampire, this doesnt seem right. "Draw, and it'll begin." Guren said. The tension between me and this weapon is odd. Would Rosetta be okay with this? Of course not. Who am I kidding. I don't have that much of a passion to kill my own kind so I'm sure I'll get possessed by this demon in a jiffy.

I chuckled before resting my hand on the handle of the weapon. But I mean being possessed wouldn't be that bad...right? "Alright demon..let's see what you've got." I whispered and pulled the halberd out from the strings, stepping inside the circle on the floor as it shone a vibrant green.

"Oh dear, Coroline it seems you really got a good meal huh?" a recognizable voice chuckled out and I felt a finger roughly rub my chin. "That voice.." I whispered and opened my eyes wearily, looking at the woman who has caused me to widen them. "Rosetta.." I said as I stared in the woman's pink orbs. One's that were always filled with kindness, care, but also hunger for blood.

She smiled and kissed my forehead as I realized we were outside in the snow. What's going on? It wasn't snowing before.."What is it darling?" she asked and laughed gorgeously. My numb lips parted a bit while staring at her. I've never realized how beautiful she is. No wonder my father fell for such a vampire.

"Rosetta.." I said again and cupped her cheeks. She looked at me confused. "Are you alright honey? You look so sad." she said and smiled like the angel she was. "Mom we're back." another voice from behind grumbled loudly and the gruff laughter of a man erupted as well.

N-No way. I let go of my mom and shifted my body around to where Coroline and dad were, heading towards us after a late-night meal. "C-C-Coroline! Dad!" I yelled and my lips began to quiver. "Ugh what do you want idiot?" Coroline said and rolled her eyes. "Coroline.." my dad said sternly.

I'm not the one to show emotion. I'm half-vampire so it's normal for me to not. But to see them all here. All of us together like they never left me in the first place. It meant something to me.. Even to a disgusting hybrid like myself. The warm hotness of sadness spilled from my usual blank orbs and slid down my trembling cheeks.

Coroline raised an eyebrow at me while my father only tilted his head. "A-Angel, what's wrong?" he asked. A wave of relief, pain, and happiness at the same time washed over me traveling itself from my heart to my guts and to my withering legs. I've never realized how useless I am without them. Without my family..."I love you." I sobbed to them all.

"Angel...you're such a dummy.." Coroline mumbled and patted my head soothingly. "That's our Angel." my dad said and engulfed me in his chest. Rosetta smiled and joined the group hug, the warmth of them all lingering in the back of my head. "I love you guys.." I choked out and continued to cry my tears out.

"We love you too." they said together and then realization hit me. Their deceased.. "Wait...." I sniffed and pulled back from them. Part of me actually wanted to stay and hug them for eternity but I'm glad I didn't. "You guys....aren't you guys dead?" I asked and wiped my tear trails away. "Yes we are." Rosetta said.

"W-What?" I said and blinked a few times. "We're long gone. You should know that, your the one who let us die." she sneered. "Huh? Let you die?" I said and wiped the last remaining tear away. "Well yes you did. You left us there and decided to live your own life without us." father said. "W-What? N-N-No...no that's not what happened at all!" I protested.

"That's what we remember. You heard our screams, ran to find us, saw our dead corpse and then left." Coroline said. "I...I....I didn't want to stay..." I croaked. "You abandoned us." father said. N-No, that's not what I did. My sickening tears returned back to overflow my eyes and run down my face.

"I-I.." I stuttered. "It's fine though. We weren't such a good family after all anyways." Coroline said and shrugged her shoulders. "That's not true..I swear to god it's not!" I yelled while ignoring my waterworks. "But everything's going to be fine now, right?" Rosetta said and held her hand out. "Come on Angel." she said.

"We're right here. Right in front of you and waiting for you to join us again. Please, don't abandon us again." Coroline said. "No...I won't abandon you.." I mumbled and felt myself moving closer and closer towards them. "That's right..you won't abandon us every again.." father said.

Rosetta's lips twisted into a motherly smile. "We love you very much." Coroline said as I now stood just in front of my mothers hand. "Come on, take my hand so we can go together. Let's go so you can kill every vampire in the whole wide world." she said.

My mouth quivered until it formed a smirk making everyone widened their eyes, confused on why I would do such an action. "Mom..Rosetta...I love you so much. I love you all so much..especially you Rosetta." I said and she chuckled. "But you know...I really hate people who pretend to be who their not." I hissed and latched my hand around her throat.

She gasped and immediately grabbed my hand trying to pry me off. "Angel what are you doing!?" Coroline shrieked. "Stop it!" my father said. "Shut up." I snarled and glared at Rosetta, licking my teeth to let my fangs pop out. My eyes turned crimson red and my ears sprouted out giving me that extra vampire adrenaline that I needed.

"My mother was sweet and considerate but also stupid. She was so stupid for falling for a human and so was he for falling for her. But they did it and made it work. She would never tell me to kill vampires, let alone kill any kind of people. She only killed to live..that is all. So tell me....." I said and took a deep breath.

"Why the hell do you like dressing up as my mother so much, demon?" I teased.
