Mathias Dane awoke the next morning to see and realize he was still in his father's office. He groggily sat up, rubbing his eyes before checking the time on his watch, cursing to himself to see it was 5:00 AM. He knew his father will be awake by 5:30 and will get ready for the day and have breakfast by 7:30 with his family before heading to his office to start his Alpha duties. Mathias stood up, wavering a bit before sniffling from having a stuffy nose due to him sleeping on the hard wood floor. He stopped when his eyes rested on Alicia's stuff animal, remembering that was the main reason as to why he was there in the first place. He picked it up and began to walk out of his father's office until a scent hit him, a scent coated with cinnamon and honey. He breathed in this wonderful scent before he began to follow it, lazily holding onto Mr. Snowballs in his right hand as he trudged down the steps and through the hall, following the scent he couldn't he enough of. He following it out the door and into the night only for the scent to drift away by the wind. He sighed in disappointment, knowing full well that was the scent of his mate, only then he realized the scent of his mate was in Alpha Dylan's Office, after he fell asleep. He rushed back up to his father's office before looking around for anything missing, looking through files that he had many times reviewed over with his father only to stop once he noticed one of the documents under the letter 'R' missing

"Shit!" Mathias cursed before slamming the filing cabinet loudly. He dashed out of the pack house and headed to his home to wake his father and inform him what had happened. If only he hadn't fell asleep last night leaving the door wide opened and unattended this wouldn't have happened!

Many scenarios ran through the young soon to be Alpha's head, was it a pup who saw the opportunity to play a harmless prank? Did his father come in and take the document without noticing Mathias asleep on the floor? No. None of these scenarios made sense in Mathias' head.

He thrusted the door open before running up the stairs, throwing his parent's bedroom door open making it slam against the wall, awaking the Alpha and Luna

"Mathias, what is the matter?" Alpha Dylan asked abruptly, sitting up alert and curious as to why Mathias was even awake at this un-godly hour. Luna Isabelle also sat up, careful with her pregnant stomach

"A document was stolen, a document that hold a list that only Alphas know about." Alpha Dylan sprung up and out of the bed, fully awake now

"Dylan, what is he talking about?" Luna Isabella asked her husband/mate worriedly, confused by her son's statement. Alpha Dylan stalked towards his son, grabbing the front of his collar menacingly in anger and frustration

"Daddy, did brother do something bad?" The two suddenly heard Alicia Dane's small voice, turning around to see her tiredly rubbing her eyes as she clutched onto her baby blanket close to her. Alpha Dylan took a deep breath, calming his temper before releasing Mathias from his hold, shaking his head briefly before looking down at his beloved daughter

"No, he isn't in trouble. Go back to sleep Ali." Alicia nodded before reaching up to get her stuff animal out of her brother's hand. Mathias sent a lazy smile and watched as she hugged Mr. Snowballs close to her chest before wrapping it with her baby blanket

"Daddy, can I sleep with Mommy?" Alpha Dylan nodded and watched as Alicia walked over to the King Size Bed before climbing up with the help of Luna Isabella. Alpha Dylan placed his hand between Mathias' shoulder blades before leading him out of the room, closing the door behind him and walked down the stairs and towards the pack house in only in his sweat pants with no shirt on, exposing his muscled chest to the night

"Now, what happened?" Mathias then explained everything, from going to his office to retrieve Mr. Snowballs that Alicia had left there earlier, to fainting then waking up only to smell a delicious scent of honey and cinnamon that was not there previously. Alpha Dylan listens intently on his son's explanations before his eyes widened in realization

"Hunters, they infiltrated the pack ... But what for?" Then his thought process went immediately to KAJ, the hunter that was supposedly a Half-Breed. Mathias watched as his father thought immensely, practically being able to see wheels turning inside his brain

"Mathias, today at noon I'm calling a pack meeting, a meeting concerning about a character named 'KAJ'. Be there and explain to the other Alphas in the surrounding area of this information, understood?" Mathias nodded in confirmation, knowing not to argue with his father about this. Mathias left to go back to the house while Alpha Dylan made his way up to his office, a scent going through his nose that he didn't recognize. His son did indeed describe a scent to him of honey and cinnamon, but this scent wasn't anything of the sort. Unless...

KAJ was a woman, KAJ was indeed a Half-Breed, half human half werewolf. If Mathias was smelling something that delighted him there was only one thing that could explain it. KAJ was his son's mate.
