The story starts when Sunju and Ustad ji were taking introduction of the cadets Infront of Karzi. "Agla jingoor kon hai?" said Sunju in an annoyed tone. A girl stepped forward, under confident she looked, nervous also. She said in a feeble voice, 'Mmmm...mmememerrrara mera nannnam  Mommmm monami Mmmmaha Mahajan hai. Mmm mai ek ddddddo docdoc docter hun' she stuttered. Some cadets started laughing, while some giggled.  

'Are ye to Hakali hai' said one of them making fun of her. She lowered her gaze, tough she knew that this was going to happen, but it hurts. She just hoped that this won't make her trainers treat her differently. Trainers felt bad for her but right now they didn't have the time to correct the cadets. Sunju asked everyone to stay quiet. Then they went in the truck to the track and the trainers gave their introduction. Karan gave them information about the track, and they all started off.

Karzi were looking at the cadets from the cameras where as Sunju and Ustad ji were with them on the track. They noticed all were talking to each other, but Monami was walking ahead alone. Suddenly one of the cadets walked up to her and said, 'Hi it's Siddharth. You can call me Sid or Sid g or Sid bro.' Monami gave him a look and again looked forward. 'Umm want to be freinds?' Said Sid forwarding his hand, but just then Monami said,' I dodo..do don't make frerre freinds' and moved ahead.

All the Cadets successfully crossed the track. The first one was Monami. Soon they all were allotted there rooms.

A month of the training passed. All the cadets mingled well with each other, but one of them was always quiet, who was none other than Monami. She never spoke more than needed, as whenever she used to speak anyone except the trainers and Sid and Koel, they used to make fun of her. 

Soon their theory classes also begin. Monami was best in both academics and practical. She was so dedicated that nothing was stopping her from being the best.

Another month passed and their tests begin, and soon the result was announced. 75% of them passed and the one who topped was none other than Monami.

Karan spoke,' Well done cadet Monami Mahajan you have rocked the result.', Sunju and Faizi also did the same. Sid and Koel came forward to congratulate her and she gave them a smile and thank you. Then, it was time for the lunch so all went to mess.

The cadets were having some other conversation. Sumanji spoke,' Sumanji keh rahi hai ki vo hakli training mein bohot acchi hai kyun na usse dosti karlen. Usse uske notes lelenge or training mein madad mang lenge.' All nodded in union. Bala asked,' toh unhe apne saath khaana khane bulalen?' Just then chitra asked, ' # par bulaega kon? or #name? # mujhe uska name nahi pata ' 

Just then Monami came and took her plate from the counter. As always, she was going to the last bench but suddenly Bala asked in a loud tone, ' arey kya naam hai? haan Hakali didi hamare saath beth ke khalo na'. This hurts Monami, even after doing so much of hard work and spending two months, no one knows her name and recognize her by her disability. Trainers and Sid and Koel were angry on the cadets for making fun of her like this. Sid was just about to scold Bala for this, but stooped as Karan already stood up for it. 

'Cadet Bala mind your language' spoke Karan in anger. He continued, ' main training ke starting se notice kar raha hun cadet Monami ko lekar app logon ka behavior. Just stop making fun of her disability. she has gained better grades than all of you .', suddenly Monami stood in front of him and said in her stuttering voice,' Sir koi baat nahi konsa woh jooth bol rahe hai mein hakali hi to hun, app please unhe mat danto.' she said so and started moving to back seat just to hear, ' ajj se tum hamare saath beth kar khaana khaogi Monami ' from Karan. she turned back shocked and said stuttering,' iski koi zaroorat nahi hai sir', but Karan shushed her replaying,' It's an order cadet.' listening so she quietly came and sat on trainers' bench near Sunju and started eating silently.

' Monu di!!!! ' was the commotion heard on the entrance of the academy. All the cadets went towards the entrance only to find a girl looking for someone. Suddenly Monami came in front and the girl ran towards her and hugged her tightly. 'Jiya tu yahan kya kar rahi hai? or bata kar kyun nahi aayi?' said Monami stuttering.



Jiya Prakash Mahajan: Monami's cousin, a positive character. 

'kya karti di appse milna tha, to agayi' said Jiya, suddenly someone tapped her shoulder. She turned and to her shock, she found an old friend here. She exclaimed,' SID!!! ' And hugged him tightly much to Sunju's dismay, which even she doesn't know why? Sid responded to the hug saying,' Woh! Jiya bro what a pleasant surprise tu yahan kya kar rahi hai?' Jiya replied,'mein toh apni di se milne aayi thi', 'kon?', ' ye rahi meri Monu di', 'what Monami teri sister hai , small world indeed '.

'accha Jiya ab training ka time ho raha hai bad mein baat karte hain' Saying so in stuttering voice Monami went from there followed  by Sid.

The trainers entered Batra sir's cabin and saluted him. Karan started,' Sir appne humen bulaya?' Suddenly they noticed a girl sitting, it was nonother than Jiya. Jiya spoke, 'app log trainers ho right, mujhe app logon se Monu di ke bare mein bat karni hai .'

'Hum log Monami ko uski disability ke karan favour nahi karenge yeh main pehle hi clear kar doon' spoke Karan. 

'main bhi to yahi chahti hoon.' spoke Jiya. 'di ka ya to sab mazak udate Hain ya sympathy dete hai. Di ko mazak banna manzoor hai par kisi ka ehsan ya sympathy nahi. Main to yahi chahati hun ki app log di bas normal cadet ki tarah treat Karo na koi favour na koi partiality. ' .Trainers nodded in anticipation.
Jiya continued, 'aur ek aur favour chahiye tha app logon se, di ko Panik attacks aa chuke Hain pehle to in case Aisa kuch ho to please mujhe inform kijiye ga yeh Mera number.'

Monami was sitting under a tree with tears in her eyes. Karan who was passing by saw her state and went to her. He puts his hand on her shoulder and she jerks. He sits besides her and asks, 'ro kyun Rahi ho? Boyfriend ne ditch kar diya?' Monami replied stuttering,'app ko lagta hai koi mere jesi ladaki ke saath timepass bhi karega Jo I love you bolne mein bhi addha ghanta leti hai? Pata hai meine ek ladake ko propose Kara tha college mein. Usne pure college ke samne Mera mazak udaya. Itna humiliate Kiya ki mujhe samajh AA Gaya ki mujhe koi pyaar nahi kar sakta, or nahi karega.' Saying so she was about to go to her room when his words stopped her which were,'usne tumhare saath Aisa is liye Kiya kyonki use Heere ki pahchan nahi hai. He didn't deserve you. Use nahi pata usne ek Jem khoya hai. Dekhna Jo tumse sach mein pyaar karega na vo tumhare flaws ko wholeheartedly accept karega and he will be the best guy in the world.'
Saying saw he went leaving behind a Monami who was looking at him lovingly.
'No monu mat kar use pyaar. Tu pyaar ke liye nahi bani hai.' thought Monami.

Asked one of the cadet to humiliate her. Sidel and trainers were angry on such a demand but soothing voice they heard, calmed them. They heard Monami singing that to without stuttering.

All were lost in her voice and were shocked that the girl who cannot speak a single sentence properly was singing the whole song so gracefully. There trans was broken by some of her stuttering words, 'good night, everyone mujhe neend aa rahi hai mein ja Rahi hoon.' saying so she went but made someone a fan of her voice which was obviously Karan.

{Note: some people stutter while speaking but don't while singing.}

'I love you Karan' said a stuttering Monami after mission Kuku's success party.
'Yeh possible nahi hai Monami. I don't love you' was the reply. 'Ek baar meri ankhon mein dekh kar yeh kehdo.'
'Monami leave.'
'tum isliye esa keh rahe ho na kyuki mein HAKALI hun. us din woh words bhi sirf mujhe cheer karne ke liye bole the na. I knew it, koi mujh jesi ladaki ko kyun hi pyaar karega? Sab meri galti hai, I have messed up everything, I should have known. I am sorry Karan.' saying so a crying Monami ran to her room without even waiting for Karan's reaction.

'Karan sir Monami apne room mein behosh ho gayi, abhi dispensary mein hai jaldi chaliye.' as soon as these words left Sid's mouth Karzi ran towards dispensary to find Sunju and Koel outside.
'Sunju status.'
'Sir ji behosh tho, chere par thakan, udasi or aasun ke nishan the. Bohot rone ke karan bhao hai. Baaki doctor dekh raho hai. '

Doctor came and said, ' She got a Panick attack. Unhe ek trauma hai. Make sure she doesn't take stress. I'll prescribe some medicines.'

Karan got tensed, listening to doc's words. He knew the reason of her condition and blamed himself for not reacting properly. He informs everything to Faizi and just then came Jiya running and enquired,' Di kesi hai?'. Karan was not able to take the guilt and tells her everything from A to Z. She remained quiet for a second or two and then replied,' It's ok Mr. Shergill. Ab app di se pyaar nahi karte hain ya unhen unke flaws ke karan dislike karte hain to bhi you are not at fault. at least apne unhe kuch bhi galat nahi kaha hai.' Before Karan could reply Sid came outside and said,' Monami ko hosh aa gaya hai.' All ran inside jiya scolded her for being careless, but Monami was lost and was paying no heed to Jiya's words.

'Mr. Shergill please ya toh app meri di se ab door rahenge ya toh app unke pyaar ko accept karenge. Meri di bolne walon mein se nahi, ghut-ghut kar marne walon mein se hain. Bachpan se di ko kisi ne pyaar nahi kiya hai. unki mumma jab woh do sal ki thi tab guzar gayi thi. Unke dad ne un par kabhi dhyaan nahi diya isiliye lack of confidence ke karan woh esi ban gayi. Har baccha mazak udata tha isliye koi dost nahi hai. Ped-poudhon aur jaanvaron se dosti karti hain vo. School se lekar college tak har jagah bas unhone partiality, humiliation, degection or hurt mila hai apne teachers se bhi. App please unhen yeh Bharosa mat dilaiyega ki app alag hai jo ek flaw wali ladki ko accept karenge. Yato haath tham lijiye ya Unhe akela chod di jiye.'

Saying so Jiya went away leaving a dumbfounded Karan. 'Kisi ki life mein itna pain kese ho sakta hai.' thought Karan

'are you sure Karan?' Replied a stuttering Monami. 

'As sure as I was while joining army.' 

'If that's the case than, I love you Karan Shergill.' Saying so Monami hugged Karan tightly and rest clapped at this union. It was the starting of a beautiful love story.
