Recap~

"I did nothing," Kuroo said defensively. "You asked her to play Volleyball" Kai glared, "What's so wrong with that?" He questioned, "She can't handle that yet! She still hasn't gotten over it!" Odishi yelled.

It was silence, they hadn't seen his angry before, "Over what?" Daichi questioned. "You don't know?" Kai questioned. they shook their heads. They all looked at each other thoughtful "It happens 1 year ago...

(Y/n) never used to be an only child, she had an older sister by 1 year, she was strong and confident, she would visit the band room and hang out with the band matching them play and sing. She played the Violin but she had a real passion for sport.

Her name was Harper.

She would play sports all day, swimming, soccer, tennis and especially Volleyball. (Y/n) and Harper was like the unbeatable duo, they did everything together, (Y/n) was inspired by her sister and wanted to be better than her.

It wasn't until one-day during practices that changed their lives for ever...

"I'm Open!" (Y/n) called, the ball was tossed to her and she set it up into the air, "Harp!" She called, Harper leaped into the air and swung her arm. the ball smashed into the ground gaining a point.

Suddenly there was a thud and a yelp as the crowd went silent. "Harper!" (Y/N) cried. When her sister landed she landed on her ankle wrong and she twisted it.

She was soon rushed to a hospital to try and get it fixed. After 3 hours the doctor came into the room, Their father came in with him with a sad face.

(Y/N) got up from Harper's bed which she was laying her head on and ran to the 2 men "What happen? Is she ok? She'll be able to play right?" She said hopefully, she looked to her father who looked away with a hurt expression "R-Right?" She repeated lookign at the doctor.

"I think you should go outside," Her father said. "N-No! I want to know!" She yelled she has pulled out the room. All she could see was the shadowed silhouette of her family.

She pressed her ear onto the door to listen better "I'm sorry Miss (L/N) but..." the doctor paused "Due to major damage to your ankles you will no longer be able to play sports or run".

(Y/N)'s eyes widened as she heard the crying of her sister, she leaned on the wall and slid down in, she dug her face into her hands, feeling the wet tears trickle down her face at a fast pace.

After a week Harper had gotten sick of laying around, every night she would sneak out and try and play and every time (Y/n) would follow watching as her sister tripping and tumbled just trying to get the ball over the net.

This lasted for 2 months until her sister had had enough, she gave up on it all, she thought if she couldn't do sport or run what was the point? So one night when everyone was asleep she left to the city.

The next morning new articles claimed that a girl from a rich sports family had committed suicide. From that moment everything reminded (Y/n) of her sister.

She refused to eat or come out of her room when she did she didn't play sports, she was fine with music yet she didn't have the passion when she did performing with her sister.

She would cry herself to sleep looking at the picture of her sister and her of that tragic match before her ankle broke.

She started to calm down after 4 months, she started to warm up to different sports, with her friends help she re-start some of her favorite sports.

Haru and the others helped her with swimming, Kai would bring her to his soccer practices, some of her other friends from out of high school helping her with ice skating and she went back to dancing and machine arts.

But still she never went back to Volleyball, even if she desperately wanted to play, to jump, to feel the sting of the ball after hitting it, she couldn't bring herself to do the one thing she could only enjoy with her sister.

"And That's what happened to her' Levi said, he looked to Kai with a saddened look "SHe refused to play, only last month has she gotten used to seeing Volleyball being played before she would scream or cry but secretly I think she still breaks" Kai explained.

kai looked at the boys "She's a strong girl, she puts on fake smiles so she doesn't hurt the people around her but she can't be strong all the time" He said.

Suddenly Tsukishima understood why she was crying before and what she meant.

'Yeah It's dumb, But... There having fun'

Seeing the people around her, the friends around her happy was the only thing she wanted, she cried remembering feeling the exact joy she felt when she was with her sister.

"I need to tell her I'm sorry," Kuroo said and ran up the hill.

The boys went back to playing while (Y/n) sat up in her room because she had been to Kai's beach house before she has her own room.

She sat on the balcony looking out to the beach, she watched as the waves smashed onto the sand. there was a knock at the door "If you don't have ice cream leave now!" She yelled.

Kuroo came in with 2 spoons and (F/F) ice cream. She walked out and placed the tub of ice cream on the railing. "I'm sorry," he said handing her a spoon, she took it and stabbed it into the tub "It's fine" She sighed "You had no idea" She shoved the spoon into her mouth.

"I assume they boys told you about my sister" She spoke, saying 'sister' a little quietly. "Yeah," He said, There was a silence drifting between them. "How did you know this was my favorite?" She questioned.

"I've seen you twice now taking a tub of ice cream to the spars" he laughed, she let out a laugh "Don't judge me" She giggled. She looked up to him and a calm smile.

She leaned her head onto his shoulder and closed her eyes listening tot eh eyes, he brushing lightly looking down to her. he placed his hand on her shoulder and pulled her closer feeling the cold breeze on their skin.

They stayed like this until (Y/n) got up, "Let's go swimming" She smiled, He stood up and she pulled him back to the beach but she didn't follow the track, she went up towards the cliff "Where are we going?" "You'll see!" She yelled back.

They ran up the cliff, Kuroo stopped because they were getting pretty close to the end "We should stop here" he said, "Common!" She laughed, "Wait! it's dangerous! It's about 5 meters high! You'll die if you fall!" "Just watch!" She yelled back.

Still running at full speed she reached the edge of the cliff "Look up there!!!" Hinata yelled everyone, looked up in time to see (Y/n).

~(Y/n)'s POV~

One step

Two step

Three step!

I close my eyes, all I've wanted to do was to fly, to soar away from all my problems.

"Hey, sis?" Harper turned around "Yeah (Y/n)?" She questioned, "Why do you want to be a Decoy?" I questioned, she paused placing down her water and placing her hand on her knee.

"An Ace breaks the defense and blocks, a Libro will always have your back, a setter with pushing the ball to the sky but all I want to do is fly. Fly into the sky, knocking down all obstacles in my path with a single flap of a wing, but seeming as I don't have wings being a Decoy is the next best thing" She smiled

All I want is to FLY!

With my final step, I launched myself off the cliff edge, the rush of wind blew my hair as I flew through the air. I was flying, I look to see the sky and the water, I flip through the air and land in the water with a splash.

I stay under the water, it's like the shell, I hear the yells and cries of the people on the cliff but I stay under, I hear a splash then another then another, I come out of the water to see Tsukishima, Aone, and Oikawa all searching around.

"You guys jumped in too! Cool!" I exclaimed, they looked over to me and a wave of relief and confusion filled their faces "Don't do that!? We thought you died!!" Tsukishima yelled swimming over "Oh! don't' worry I always do this" I smiled. "That's what we were trying to say" Sighed a voice, over ran Kai, Levi, Odishi followed by the others, "She always does things like this when she wants to reflect or have fun" Kai explained.

He helped me out of the water and then they helped the others, "I can't believe you boys did that, your cloud of gotten hurt" Kai and Daichi sighed crossing their arms and shaking their head "Us!? What about (Y/n)?!" Oikawa and Tsukishima cried, "She always does that, you guys haven't" Levi sighed.

It was later, The boys watched as Levi, Odishi, and Kai rushed around while (Y/n) was in the middle of the room yelling instruction "What are they doing?" Hinata whispered to Kenma, Kenma just shrugged.

"Boys!" She called gaining the others attention. She jumped off the table she was standing on and handed everyone dark (F/C) bracelets "Once you get dressed go down the road to a concert, their wrist bands will take you to the VIP entrance where you can stand at the very front, we'll meet you there" She said.

Before the boys could ask any more questions they all ran out the room talking about what they had to do. "Ok! Everyone get dressed so we can go" Daichi said.
