Soulmate AU where the first tattoo you/your soulmate gets will show up on their/your body!

You pouted as you examined your body, searching for any sort of tattoo that your soulmate could've gotten, but to no avail. Your soulmate hadn't gotten any tattoos and you'd been too terrified to get one yourself. You hated needles with a burning passion, and even if you did get a tattoo, what would it be of?

Sliding on a shirt and a pair of pants, you quickly got ready and left the house before you could change your mind. You were going to take life by the reins and get your own tattoo instead of waiting around for your soulmate to do it.

By the time you'd arrived at the tattoo shop, however, you were practically quivering with fear and it was a miracle that you managed to walk inside without passing out. Once you'd made it inside, you waited nervously until an artist was ready to see you.

You were only brave enough to get a small tattoo of a crow on the back of your shoulder, but it had some meaning to you since you'd graduated from Karasuno years ago.

This had better be worth it!

After what felt like an eternity of pain—but actually turned out to be about twenty minutes—you were released from your chair, and you thanked and paid the tattoo artist. You then asked them to take a picture of your tattoo so that you could show your friends.

Once you'd gotten home again, you took proper care of your new tattoo and followed the artist's directions before sitting down on your couch and trying to deal with the pain. You posted the picture of your tattoo on social media and watched as the likes and comments started to pile up.

Soon enough, you'd gotten a message from one of your friends, saying, "Hey, cool tattoo but look at this!"

She'd sent a picture to you of someone else's post. Some guy named Nishinoya had taken a picture of a tattoo that looked exactly the same as yours and was on exactly the same place as yours was. The caption read, "Just had this tattoo magically appear on the back of my shoulder! Shoutout to my soulmate for getting an awesome tattoo!"

Your eyes widened as you tried to process what was happening. My soulmate... is this guy? Wait... didn't we go to high school together? Oh, I remember him! you thought as your mind reeled with possibilities.

You looked him up on social media and you were about to send him a message about the tattoo, but he beat you to it. A message appeared with the picture you'd posted of your tattoo. "Hey, you just got this tattoo, didn't you?"

You sent him the picture of his that your friend had messaged to you. "And you just had this appear on your shoulder, didn't you?"

"Yeah! So we must be soulmates!"

You couldn't help but smile, even though he obviously couldn't see you. "I guess so! I'm glad I picked a good design."

"It's awesome! Anyway, I want to meet you! Do you have time to go out for coffee or something? I think we live in the same area."

"I would love to!"

"Cool! I'll meet you at (cafe name)."

You practically jumped with joy as you got off your bed and hustled to find a cute outfit to wear. As soon as you were ready, you rushed out of your house and over to the cafe nearby, excited to finally get the chance to meet your soulmate.

When you arrived at the cafe, you saw a young man wave to you from a table that had an empty seat across from him. You approached him, and he leapt out of his chair to give you a big hug. For being so small, you were surprised at how big of a hugger he was. You smiled and blushed as you hugged him back, holding him closely to you.

When you pulled away, he gave you a bright smile. "I'm Nishinoya Yuu, but call me Yuu!" he introduced himself with a small bow, "Let me just say that it is a pleasure to be the soulmate of such a beautiful young lady."

He took your hand in his and kissed it, making your blush deepen. "I'm (l/n) (f/n), but please call me (f/n)," you replied, holding your other hand up to your face in an attempt to hide your blushing. He was really handsome with those big brown eyes of his and his youthful features. His smile warmed your heart.

"Let me see your tattoo!" he exclaimed with excitement. You pulled back the collar of your shirt slightly and he peered at the tattoo on your shoulder. "Oh, it's so cool! Thanks for letting me have it too!"

"Hey, did yours even hurt?!" you asked as he moved his shirt so you could see his as well.

"Nope. And it didn't cost a penny!"

"You little freeloader! That's not even fair! I'm terrified of needles but I got a tattoo anyway because I wanted to know who my soulmate was!"

Nishinoya's eyes grew wide with amazement and love as he gazed into your own (e/c) ones. "You did that for me?"

"Yes!"

He hugged you again, keeping a nearly suffocating grip on you. "That's so romantic! Thank you so much, (f/n)! I promise I'll make it up to you by getting a tattoo of my own!"

"O-Okay."

"But you'll have to come with me to keep me company, okay?"

You nodded and rested your head on his shoulder.
