Gotcha! {Miya Atsumu}

As one of the best spies in the area, it's your job to teach all the new recruits for your prestigious program

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Weaving skillfully in amongst the crowds of people moving along the sidewalks of the busy, city streets, you kept your head down and your gaze ahead. When the opportunity presented itself, you walked in front of a tall man who was strolling slowly, using him as cover so that your pursuer wouldn't see you duck into the dimly lit entrance of a nearby parking structure. You climbed up the metal stairs, taking two steps at a time, until you reached the fourth floor, which you figured was a safe bet, since he would be too lazy to thoroughly scan every level of the structure if he did decide to search there. Letting out a small sigh of content, you marched over to the side of the building and perched on the edge of the cement supports separating the cars from the sheer drop outside.
Your (e/c) eyes scanned the environment, searching for your little student, whom you expected to appear in your line of sight at any moment, tailing a random person he thought was you. Sure enough, his head of blonde hair stuck out like a sore thumb across the street as it moved from side to side to pinpoint your location.
Pressing on the small device in your ear, you teased, "Someone looks a little lost. Can't find me?"
"Thought I had ya," his voice echoed a few moments later, "It's a bit too hopeful to ask if you've disguised yourself as one of the women workin' in that topless bar, ain't it?" Even though he was relatively far away, you could still tell he was gazing forlornly at the glowing sign nearest him that had a silhouette of a woman's body on it.
"Think with the head that's on top of your shoulders, darling."
He snickered and crossed his arms in front of his chest, leaning back against the wall behind him. He turned to look in the direction from whence he came and appeared to visually retrace his steps in his head to see where he could've gone wrong. When you saw the puzzle pieces start to come together in his mind, you moved behind a wall so you were out of his sight once again. After waiting about thirty seconds, you peered around the corner to find that he had disappeared.
You weren't fazed, however. While your student had proven that he was a force to be reckoned with on the grounds of your school, this city soaked in neon lights and heaving with people was your playground. You knew it like the back of your hand, and, while you were going easier on him since it was his first time tailing you through a location as intricate as this one, you had still lost him. However, you had to give him credit for keeping up with you as long as he had. He was intelligent, but you could tell he liked to watch spy movies, since he was always expecting you to pull crazy stunts in ridiculously short amounts of time.
Moving over to the elevator and hugging the wall surrounding it, you awaited his arrival. He had never taken you entirely seriously during your lessons with him, so you already knew his plan of attack. A few minutes later, you heard the clicking of dress shoes against the metal staircase nearby that stopped instead of continuing upwards to the next level. When his footsteps approached, and you saw his tall figure appear a few feet away as he inspected the side of one of the parked cars, you emerged from your hiding place.
"What have I told you about examining your surroundings, Atsumu?" you questioned, taking a small step back with your dominant foot once you were standing behind him.
"We're just playin' a friendly game of hide n' seek, here, ain't--"
He cut himself off when he saw your leg swinging up towards his head as you directed a roundhouse kick at him. Right before it made contact with his face, he managed to move his hands up and block you, but you quickly recovered and sent your other leg towards him in a front kick that pushed him backwards against a pillar.
"Pay attention!" you warned as you ran over to him and began throwing punches at him.
Now that he was more alert, he was able to defend himself against your kicks and punches more skillfully, deflecting your attacks and trying to restrain you. It was rare to see his brown eyes so focused and his face so serious, but you were glad that he was heeding your advice now. If any of your attacks connected, he would surely be hurting for the rest of the evening and the following day.
Despite his valiant effort at stopping you, he let his guard slip in an instant that you were able to capitalize on by catching him off guard and moving behind him. Yanking his arms down behind him to pull his head closer to you allowed you to wrap your arms around his neck. Now that he was locked in your strong choke hold, which your hand behind his head was pushing him further into, he was forced to admit defeat. When he tapped your arm, you released your crushing grip on him and stepped away, allowing him a moment to regain his breath.
"Damn, you're one helluva fighter, (f/n)," he commented, brushing his blonde undercut away from his face and regarding you with his unwavering gaze. Even though he had just been beaten, he was quick to adopt his laidback demeanor once again, which frustrated you.
"We're just playing a friendly game of hide and seek, you said?" Your narrowed eyes didn't appear to move him, even when you walked closer to him and put your hands on your hips. "This is training for the world you're going to be living in, Atsumu. This is not a game. If I was truly your enemy, I could've killed you in that instant. You do understand that, right?" you scolded him.
The smirk across his lips clearly portrayed his feelings about the matter. "I ain't worried 'bout my skills. I made it here, to where we are right now, didn't I? 'Sides, how am I s'posed ta focus when I got the hottest teacher in the world?"
You felt your heart pound in your chest at his comment, but didn't let it or the suggestive look he was sending your way distract you. "Well," you said sternly, "if you've got the hottest teacher in the world, then you shouldn't be taking your eyes off her." He simply shrugged in response, making you let out a long sigh of irritation. "You've got to try harder or else I'll be sending you home with all the other lazy wannabes."
Turning on your heels, you began walking towards the stairs to exit the parking lot. With a loud huff followed by some self-serving comment made under his breath, your scorned student followed you on your way back to the academy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You weren't quite sure why Atsumu didn't respect your teachings, but you had a few theories. One was that there wasn't an age gap between the two of you that, in a way, merited obedience on his end. The two of you were around the same age, but you had more years of experience under your belt at the academy than he did. Because of this, you were often tasked with preparing the new recruits for what was to come and whipping the more seasoned ones of the bunch into tip top shape.

Students like Atsumu who knew they were the cream of the crop came in with unbearably large egos that it was your job to keep in check. While he had a right to be haughty, since he was better than the other recruits he had entered with, he still wasn't worthy of being a formidable challenger to you. This was another possible explanation for his disobedience. He had made it crystal clear he didn't like being told what to do, since he already thought his methods were superior.

However, despite his lack of cooperation, he had explicitly stated his attraction to you many times before through his shameless flirting. Even though you thought he was a handsome man, you knew that giving in to him would make you lose all credibility as his instructor. So, instead of letting him have his way, which you were sure he was used to getting with how he acted, you simply kept him at arm's length away from you. By doing this, you hoped he would realize that keeping up his atrocious behavior wasn't going to win him any favors.

After your last training session, when you'd threatened to expel him and implied that he was a wannabe, Atsumu had seemed to be taking things a bit more seriously. Maybe it was because you'd insulted his precious self-esteem, or maybe his behavior had changed in an attempt to impress you. Regardless of the reason, you saw that he was no longer treating your relationship so casually or giving a half-assed effort in your training sessions. Knowing that you'd somehow flipped a switch inside him made your feelings of animosity and disdain towards him lessen, and the time you spent together became more tolerable.

Now, a little over a month after your last, city-based lesson in tailing a target, you found yourself in the same situation once again. This time, though, he was proving himself more of a challenge to evade. Sneaking around in the shadows and clusters of people was your specialty, and you were eventually able to slip out of his sight to start down an alley shrouded in darkness, save for the lights spilling out of people's apartment windows. You couldn't shake the odd feeling of unease inside of you as you walked closely to the walls to avoid detection until you reached a ladder that you climbed up to reach the roof of the shortest building in the area.

You made sure to constantly check your surroundings as you crawled from one rooftop to the next until you had scaled the taller apartment complex you had passed by earlier. As you glanced around for your student and any other witnesses, your instincts guided you to the doorway that led inside the complex. When you walked around the other side of it, you were quick to throw a powerful kick at Atsumu, who tried to grab onto you from where he had been waiting, ready to pounce.

"You're gettin' predictable, love," he commented as he grabbed your ankle, tossed your leg aside, and deflected the flurry of attacks you sent his way. As annoying as his comment was to a seasoned spy such as yourself, you tried not to let it get to you as you dodged his own offensive maneuvers and attempted to overpower him.

The two of you were engaged in heated combat for what seemed like a long time until he managed to side-step one of your punches and wrap his hand around your wrist. Despite your attempts at elbowing him or using your legs to fend him off, he overwhelmed you and shoved you back against the wall on the side of the doorway. One of his hands pinned both of your wrists above your head while the fingers of his other squeezed your throat gently. He had eliminated the possibility of you kicking him by trapping your legs with his. You were completely at his mercy.

The two of you were breathing heavily as you gazed at each other. While your eyes held a more serious and irritated look, his watched you with amusement, further fueling your frustration at being beaten. "Well, would ya look at that! I win this round," he sang triumphantly.

"You shouldn't have waited until I attacked you first. I could've had a gun pointed at your head for all you knew," you told him sternly, still fixated on coaching him rather than letting him bask in his victory.

He lowered his head, putting it mere centimeters away from your own. You could feel his breath tickling your skin as he taunted, "Is someone mad 'cause they lost?" Your heart thumped erratically in your chest, but it wasn't just as a result of you exerting yourself moments earlier. "Y'know..." he began, his honey-colored eyes moving to where one of his hands was placed against your throat, "I'm surprised ya haven't told me to let go of you, yet. I'd be happy to do this to ya in a different settin', if ya like."

His comment made you blush profusely, but you kept your mouth shut, refusing to let anything slip that might encourage him. However, much to your dismay, your silent, emotional response was enough to make a smirk break out across his lips. The way he was inspecting you so closely and moving his fingers slowly across the tender skin on your neck was weakening the defenses you'd built up against him.

"I think ya want me to keep holdin' onto ya 'cause you secretly like me. That's why you're not resistin' me, ain't it?" he suggested, moving his face closer to yours until your noses were nearly touching.

"Damn it, 'Tsumu," you groaned, turning your head away in a futile attempt to hide your flushed cheeks.

He chuckled as he slid a few of his fingers up to your jaw to turn your face back towards his. "Gotcha, babe."

You didn't bother resisting when he closed the gap between the two of you by pressing a kiss against your lips. It would be stupid of you to act like you didn't want him, since he could clearly see through you. He released his grip on your hands so you could bring them to the sides of his face while his came to rest on your waist. All the building tension from having to withhold the emotions you felt towards each other was apparent in your passionate kisses that you only broke away from every now and then for precious breaths of air.

Upon feeling his hands move to the hem of your sweater to search underneath, you pushed him away, much to his agitation. Before he could complain, you told him, "Hey, can't get everything you want all at once."

"Why's that?" he grumbled, raising a thick eyebrow at you as he pressed his palm into the wall beside your head and leaned on his arm.

With a chuckle, you brushed a strand of (h/l) hair that had fallen in your face behind your ear and stated, "Well, I wouldn't be a great spy if I let you in on all my secrets, would I? Gotta keep a sense of mystery about me somehow." The apparent aggravation he felt was etched into his handsome features, making you send a playful wink his way before stepping away from the wall and grabbing his arm so the two of you could start your journey back together. Placing a kiss against his cheek, you whispered, "Gotcha."
