I sighed happily as I hummed along the music on the radio as I was stirring around the soup I was making in the pot. I looked over towards the clock in the stove and it was past six.

"hmm..he should have been here by now" I questioned. Ushijima should be here already from work. He usually comes out at 5:30. I turned off the stove and placed a top in the pot for the soup.

I wiped my hands on my apron and sighed. "I hope it isn't something bad" I said as I headed towards the sink to clean some dishes. Suddenly the door bursted open and then got shut in a quick instance.

He was sitting down against it with his head in his arms. His feet were brought up to his body and I could see his body physically shaking.

"Baby, baby what's wrong?" I asked again as I rushed over to him with worry. I sat down next to him and looked over him quickly to see if he was injured anywhere. I sighed gladly as he wasn't.

I closed the door softly and turned on the humidifier with the vanilla scenting oil that ushijima really likes. I turned off the lights as well and turned on our LED lights that were his favorite color.

I turned around and slipped out of my (it's ushijimas to be exact) shirt and sweats and just had my boxers on. I turned around and saw that he did the same but every time we did this, he would become a complete nervous mess.

I smiled at how he started to avoid eye contact and looked towards the floor. "Cmon lets get in" I said as I got in our bed and patted the space next to me. He nodded softly and climbed in. I opened my arms for him to get in and he did.

Our legs immediately intertwined and his big arms went around my torso. I smiled to myself as I could practically hear his heart beat speed up.

Like I tell you everyday we get to kiss, I won't do anything you don't like" I assured him. Ushijima is the type that needs a lot of reassurance in these type of things but I don't blame him and I'm not complaining either.

"(Y/n)?" He asked as his grip got tighter and our naked chests got even closer and are now touching. My cheeks got tainted a bit pink but kept my composure. "Yes baby?" I asked as I played with his hair for a bit waiting for his question.

"Do you...love me?" He asked seriously as he stared at me with a serious look on his face. I held my ground from kissing him right there. "If I didn't love you, my heart wouldn't be beating this fast would it?" I said as I took one of his arms and got his large hand and placed it over my chest peck where my heart was placed.

It was beating so rapidly fast as his warm hand was left there. He had a shocked expression as he looked at me in disbelief. "Why is it beating so fast?" He asked his face grew in concerned. I chuckled at how worried he was getting.
