"Everyone come together!" Ukai yelled as he cleared his throat as the team stopped practicing and came forward. They all got together confused as to why he had called them.

"We have finally found another coach to be with us for the rest of the year" ukai said as he proudly smiled. "Wah! Really?!" The whole team erupted with questions as to who this person might look like.

"I wonder how she looks like?" Nishinoya said with a hand on his chin. Tanaka joined in and they began to theorize together.

A sudden slide of a door scared the team as a tall young man walked in wearing a plain white shirt with some tight trackpants and a clipboard under his armpit.

"Who said I was a she?" The man said as he walked up over to them with a smile. Nishinoya suddenly walked over and bowed apologetically. "I'm so sorry sir!" He said as Tanaka followed as well.

The man laughed and patted both of their heads. "Don't worry about it" he said as they both looked up and blushed at the man.

"This is Mr. (l/n)-" ukai began but the man brought his hand with a smile. "Please call me coach (y/n)" he said and ukai cleared his throat. "I-okay. He'll be here with us as long as he wants so you better treat him with respect!" Ukai said and the team yelled in unison in agreement.

The man smiled and nodded. "Now resume with practice" ukai said. The coaches moved to the sides and ukai explained the team and their stats.

"The first years are something huh?" The man said as he looked over to their statistics.

"As you have heard, we'll be having a practice match with Nekoma. Please do the best you all can do" Coach ukai said and the team yelled with smiles.

"Where's (y/n)?" Hinata asked as he saw the tall male was nowhere to be seen. Ukai cleared his throat and looked around nervously. "He had to run an errand" he said and ordered the team to clean up.

The team nodded with no question. They were all done and changed from their uniforms until a tall male walked in exhausted. "Hello, I brought you all treats for your hard work and to ease your nerves!" (Y/n) yelled as he had bags around his hands.

"Alright!" Tanaka exclaimed as the team gathered around. (Y/n) handed them out to everyone and even to ukai, kiyoko and yachi. "Where's yours?" Coach ukai said as he unwrapped his own popsicle.

"They ran out of my favorite so I didn't get another one" he said as he nervously looked down to his feet. It was quite something seeing him being nervous since he's so big.

"Wanna try mine?" Ukai said as he moved his popsicle towards him. (Y/n) stared at it and looked over to him. He was looking away as his ear was beat red. (Y/n) flashed him a big smile as he wrapped his hand around ukais offering hand and moved his hand towards his mouth.

He licked it a few times and pulled away. "Wahh! That tastes really good!" He said as he gushed over how good it tasted to yachi who had the same flavor.

Ukai looked over to his popsicle and blushed at the spot where he licked it. He slowly brought it to his mouth and bit it. He was furiously blushing inside as he ate it.

The team were minutes to finishing their match with Nekoma and (y/n) was very worked up. He really enjoys volleyball and seeing how Karasuno was holding up with Nekoma was impressive.

The setter from Nekoma set the ball and their spiker was running to aim directly to Hinata who was very weak in receiving. (Y/n) shot up from the bench as he yelled sternly. "Keep your feet on the ground Hinata!". Hinata tensed up as the ball came and he brought his arms up as the ball hit his forearms and it turned to the left right at the coaches.

The ball was coming in contact with Coach ukais face that didn't even notice. (Y/n) threw his arm and blocked the ball from harming Ukai.

A loud slap was heard as (y/n) hand began to turn red by the intensity of the impact. The ball was turned to Nekoma and both teams were in a stand still.

"Are you okay Ukai?" (Y/n) asked as he brought his hand down and placed them on the mans face. He turned his face around to examine it but sighed happily as there was nothing wrong.

"oh thank go-" he began until he looked over to Ukai. His face had a shocked expression. (Y/n) noticed the situation and pulled his hands away and sat back down on the bench. "Sorry sorry!" He apologized as he laughed to himself.

Coach ukai didn't say anything until the match was finished as Nekoma won. The team didn't mind the defeat since it kept them more motivated to keep on training hard.

The team were loading up the travel bus. (Y/n) felt a soft tug on his sleeve as he turned around. It was the small Hinata and he looked like something was on his mind. "Hey Hinata, are you okay?" He asked as he softly knelt over to be on the same level as him.

"I'm sorry for that receive I did!" He apologized as he bowed very low. (Y/n) threw his hands up and pulled him up from his bow. "It's okay! Tomorrow I'll practice with you extra hard!" He said as he motivationally patted his back and moved him to enter the bus. "Yes sir!" He said as he loaded the bus.

(Y/n) entered the bus as he sighed exhausted from the day and he lazily went to go sit in the back but he felt his wrist being pulled. He didn't even care who it was but he was pulled into a seat next to a person.

"(Y/n)?" The person said and he lazily looked up to meet the persons eyes. "Huh what?" He said as he looked over and it was Ukai. "Oh hey, sorry I'm just so tired" (y/n) said as he yawned and smiled.

"Why don't you nap for a bit?" Ukai asked and (y/n) nodded as he moved his body against him and laid his head on his shoulder. "Thanks Ukai" he said as he nuzzled closer and started to drift to sleep.

Ukai covered his mouth as his face flushed in heat of having him so close to him. "Damn it (y/n)" he said to himself as he moved a little so (y/n) felt a little more comfortable.

"Get home safely! I'll see you all tomorrow" (y/n) said as smiled. Karasuno nodded and walked their own ways home while talking about their match they had a few hours ago.

"Well I'll go on my way" (y/n) said as he turned and bowed to Coach Ukai and started to walk off. Ukai stood there for a few seconds until he ran after him. "Wait! I have something to..confess" ukai said as he turned over (y/n).

"Oh? Okay" (y/n) said confused but stopped in his tracks to hear him thoughtfully. "I think I...uh..I don't know I've never felt this way before..from a guy" he said as he messed around with his headband.

"How do I make you feel?" (Y/n) said as he walked a little closer with a confused face. Ukai pursed his lips as he continued. "Like..my heart beats for you and I don't know why" he said as he cleared his throat. "Even though I'm too old for getting embarrassed like this" he said laughing at himself.

(Y/n) laughed loudly with him as he covered his laugh. "Well that makes us two" he said as he got closer to him. "What did you say?" Ukai said as he stood there shocked as to what he said.

(Y/n) smiled, took ukais hand with his and brought it up. He kissed the top of it while having eye contact with him. "I like you Ukai".

Ukai pulled away as he covered his face with both of his hands embarrassingly. "How could you say it so calmly?".

(Y/n) pulled at his hands to uncover his face. Ukai smiled nervously as (y/n) leaned close and pecked his warm cheek.

"Who said I was even calm?" He said as he placed Ukais hand on his chest. His heart was beating rapidly even though it didn't show in his face or actions.

Ukai lowly chuckled at the foreign feeling. "Well, now I'm even more embarrassed than before" he admitted. (Y/n) still held his rough hand between his as he got lost in thought while admiring ukai.

"(Y-Y/n)?" Ukai asked as he threw his eyes around on the floor due to huge amounts of nervousness that overcame him. (Y/n) finally snapped out of his day dreaming and apologetically smiled.

"Sorry I was thinking of how perfect you are" he said with a smirk. Ukai couldn't take it anymore as he held onto (y/n)'s shoulders for support. He was dying out of embarrassment.

"(Y/n)! This is too much for my fragile heart" he stated as his body emitted heat from his face and neck.

(Y/n) laughed quietly but spared him from embarrassing him even more. "Well, I have to go home but text me yeah?" (Y/n) said as he kissed the top of Ukais hand one last time and threw him a wink.

He walked away towards the way of his home while wearing a big smile across his reddened face. Ukai stared at the back of the tall man as he also walked away.

His mind was blank but his face was pure red. His hands felt tingly and rather lonely from the contact he just had a few moments ago.

He slapped his cheeks to pull himself together but how can he when the man he liked admitted to liking him back. "Man, I'm too old to be acting like a school girl!" He lectured himself as he mentally noted to text (y/n) later.
