"See me after class (y/n)" my teacher said as he handed my test results in a folded way to cover up my score. I groaned as I slowly opened the paper and noticed the big 20 out of 100 in the middle of the paper.

"At least it was better than last time" I said as I turned around to Hinata and kageyama. "How did you guys do?" I said miserably as I showed them my paper. "(Y/n) this is the first time Hinata does better than you" kageyama pointed out towards hinatas score. He had a big 50 while kageyama had a 55.

"How?!" I shouted as I groaned and threw my paper back onto my desk with a pout. "I'm smarter than (y/n)!" Hinata said excitedly as he smiled towards his paper.

The class ended and I walked over to my teachers desk while hanging my head low in shame. "I wouldn't say I'm disappointed in you but more of I was expecting more from you. Last semester you were doing great and now since you joined that volleyball club now your grades have gone down-" I clenched my fists as I threw my head up at the sound of volleyball being mentioned.

"This has nothing to do with volleyball sir! I'll get to studying hard to bring them up! Goodbye!" I shouted at him with a stern look as I bowed and bolted out of the classroom. I sighed as I looked over to my paper one last time.

I shook my head as I shoved the paper in my bag and headed to my other class as fast as possible.

-time skip-

"Please make sure you go home safely!" My teacher said as she wiped down the board as the bell rung. I stood up and headed my way towards the gym. I usually end up going late since my class is in the highest floor.

I scrolled through my phone to spend time as I made my way down the school stairs without bumping to people.

"Man, I need to start studying or else I'll get kicked out for my bad marks" I said to myself but then groaned. "But I hate studying so much! But then volleyball is life! But!-" I began to argue to myself as I made it to the boys locker room and changed.

I opened the door to the gym and heard loud laughing. I opened the door and saw tsukishima laughing at Hinata and kageyama along with yamaguchi.

"What's so funny?" I asked as I walked over and sat down as I tied my loose shoelaces. "Hinata really thinks scoring a 50 is good enough" tsukishima said as he covered his laugh. Hinata jumped up in his feet in anger.

"Well at least I didn't score a 20!" He said as he pointed to me. I gasped loudly as I stood up above him. "It was better than last time! This was the only time you scored a 50" I stated and he groaned and sat back down.

"Why are you all yelling?" I heard a soft voice ask. I turned around and saw that it was Sugawara with Daichi. "(Y/n) says scoring a 20 is better than hinatas 50" kageyama simply stated as he took a sip from his milk box.

"I did not!" I said as I crossed my arms madly. "You should consider studying (y/n)" Daichi said as he scratched his chin in thinking. I shook my head in disagreement. "I hate studying!" I pouted as Hinata shot up and agreed with me.

"Yeah! I'll rather read a book then study!" He said and I nodded with him. "They obviously share one brain cell which is dead" tsukishima said with a smirk as yamaguchi tried to shush him but laughed at his statement.

"Hmm why don't you get a tutor! I know someone who likes to tutor" Daichi said as he snapped his fingers with a smile. I tilted my head in confusion until he patted Sugawaras shoulder.

I sensed him tense up and throw his hands up in defense. "What? No I don't think it's-" he began but I fell on my knees and clasped my hands together in a pleading manner.

"Please please! Just this once so I can bring my marks up!" I pleaded with no shame. "Look! (Y/n)'s on his knees. This isn't new!" Nishinoya joked as he and Tanaka walked over physically drawn to the noise.

"I-uh" Sugawara stuttered as he looked around for support or something to get him out of this situation until he felt pressure on his shoes.

I laid my hands on his shoes as I looked up at him with my big puppy eyes. "Just this once!" I whined loudly and he groaned and nodded.

"Yayyy! Thank you senpai!" I yelled as I stood from my knees and threw myself against his arms. "Oh~~ (y/n) just called suga senpai~" Tanaka started but Daichi smacked his head hard to prevent him from continuing his sentence.

I pulled away and smiled but dropped. Sugawara looked like he was about to faint. His face was so red I can feel his heat radiating towards me. "Are you okay Sugawara?" I asked as I leaned over and placed my hand on his forehead.

"Yep! Totally fine! I'll go get a drink of water!" He said as he quickly pulled away from me and basically ran towards the gym doors and slammed them open and shut.

I shrugged as Daichi ordered us to begin practice with spiking first.

Practice was really fun for some reason. I got better at receiving and spiking in just one day. I knew it wasn't about volleyball.

I wiped my face with my number Jersey as I headed towards the locker room and quickly changed.

"Get home safe!" I yelled over to Hinata and the others. They nodded and said the same until I caught up with Sugawara, Daichi and asahi.

"So Sugawara when are you free?" I asked as they all yelled in fear. "Don't scare us like that!" Asahi said as he gripped his heart with a frown. I automatically apologized with a smile.

"Oh! Today or probably next week?" He said as he thought for a second about his off days. I frowned. I wanted to study as fast as possible but I didn't want to disturb him as well.

"Wait, did you say today?" I asked as I looked over to my phone and looked at the time. It was still pretty early. He nodded. I jumped up excitedly and pulled on his sleeve. "Then let's do it today! Let's go now!" I suggested as I said goodbye to Daichi and asahi as I pulled Sugawara with me softly.

"Sorry for making you study with me Sugawara" I apologetically looked over to him with a sad smile. He laughed and shook his hand. "I don't mind it. Until you start to give me a hard time" he said seriously as he glared me down.

I laughed nervously and looked away. "We made it lets go before my mom starts to put the food away!" I said as I took his hand with mine and ran to my house.

I exhaled loudly as I looked over and saw Sugawara holding onto his knees as he catches his breath. "You know..I don't run much" he said as he stood up and smiled. I laughed too as I opened my door to my house and took off my shoes.

"You can slip on the guest slippers" I said as I slipped mine on. I turned around and saw him staring towards the multiple slippers. "Which ones?" He asked as he looked over the multicolored slippers.

"Oh! The white ones!" I said as I pointed them out and headed to the stairs. He followed me as we quickly went over to my room. "Sorry! It's a mess! I didn't expect to have you over so soon" I said as I threw my bag on my bed as I ran around and threw stuff around.

"Wow! You really like music and volleyball" Sugawara said as he moved around and looked over my room. I blushed and scratched my cheek. "Yeah! I play a little bit of guitar" I said as I motioned to my music sheets and guitar.

"Ohh you should play me a song next time" he said as he swiftly winked at me and continued to look over my room. My face flushed in embarrassment as I hung my head low and continued to clean my room.

"Okay let's go eat and say hi to my mom" I said as we left my room and towards the kitchen. "Hey ma! I brought a friend over!" I said as I ran towards my mom and hugged her. "Oh! Hey sweetie. Oh what a cute boy you have here. Why didn't you introduce me to your boyfriend?" She said as she hugged me back and dropped whatever she was doing and hugged Sugawara.

I shot my eyes wide open and threw my hands around. "No! He's my friend ma didn't you hear me?" I said as I looked over and Sugawara did the same gesture I was doing. "Yep just a friend!" Sugawara said nervously. She smirked and nodded. "Uh-huh. Well go sit I'll bring your plates out" she said as she shoved us out the kitchen.

I sighed and walked over to the table. "Sorry about that!" I said as I bend over but Sugawara stopped me. "You have a habit of apologizing so much" he said as he patted my shoulder and sat next to me. I pursed my lips and sat down as well.

"Didn't know your mom could cook something so good on a weekday" Sugawara said as he patted to his tummy that was forming. "Yep I didn't know either" I told him as I looked over to my full stomach as well.

We headed to my room as I jumped over to my bed and scrolled through my phone until I heard him clear his throat loudly. I looked over and looked at him with a confused face.

He had a hand on his hip as he pointed to my backpack that was next to me. "ughhh can we relax for a few minutes?" I said as I looked back onto my phone.

He walked over and snatched my phone and dropped it towards his bag. "Those minutes will turn to hours in a few seconds. Now come over here and study" he said with a devilish smile. I shuddered as I grabbed my bag and went to go sit next to him.

"And we're done! See it wasn't so bad was it?" He asked as he packed up his bag and sighed. "Yeah! You made it sound easier than how my teacher said it" I said as I smiled up at him. He nervously chuckled and cleared his throat.

"Oh! Can I use your bathroom?" He asked as he stood up and adjusted his pants. "Down this hall, last door" I said. He nodded and left my room. I packed up my bag and getting ready to go back on my phone.

I looked over to Sugawara's bag and nervously looked around. I then started to dig through it and found my phone. I saw his English notebook and started to wonder.

"Let's see how hard third year literature is" I said as I opened the notebook and began to scan around. I immediately noticed that I couldn't recognize a single thing. I threw the pages around until a tiny piece of paper fell through one of the pages.

"Whoops, let me put that back" I said as I picked it up. It looked like a note for something. I turned it over and my heart started to thump loudly.

I kept re-reading the note as I let it fall out of my hands. I looked once again and dropped the notebook from my hands and covered my face in embarrassment.

The note had a bunch of ways that Sugawara was going to confess his feelings towards me. "Ahhhh!!!!" I yelled at my hands as my face felt really hot.

I sighed in relief as I scrambled around to hide his stuff back to avoid him seeing me go through his things without his permission.

I moved to my bed and cleared my throat as I heard the bathroom flush. "Fuck~~~!" I mentally yelled at myself as I went on YouTube and played a random game video to not look suspicious at all.

I heard his footsteps come closer and I got super nervous. I pulled at my clothes since they got extremely warm against my body all at once.

"Sorry I took long-ouuu what are you watching?" Sugawara said as he walked in and walked over towards me. His face was right next to my cheek as he looked on my phone screen. I pulled away and laughed.

"A horror game! Ahahaha so, what should we do?" I asked as I threw my phone down and looked over at him with a nervous smile.

He was going to question my behavior but passed the chance. "Hmm, well I wanted to uhm tell you something" he said with a soft laugh as he scratched his cheek.

I blushed at his comment knowing damn well what he wanted to tell me. I cleared my throat as I moved around on my bed and patted the spot next to me to have him sit there.

"Sure! What is it Sugawara?" I asked him physically nervous just like he is. He sat next to me and began to play with his fingers. It's not everyday that you see suga be nervous to the max.

"I know I'm your older classmate and all and I uhhh fuck! Never mind I can't do this!" He began but stopped himself from saying anything more. He stood abruptly and went to go get his bag.

"Huh? What's wrong suga? Weren't you going to-?" I began asking him as I didn't think he was going to coward out of this. I know how it might be hard to confess but he looked pretty prepared to me.

"Never mind (y/n)! Forget I said anything. It was fun studying with you but I'll go home for the day" he said as he hurriedly swung his bag on his back and opened the door and headed down the stairs.

I quickly jumped on my feet and chased after him. "Tell your mom her cooking was good. See ya tomorrow then!" Suga said as he already slipped on his shoes and went out the door when I reached the bottom of my stairs.

"Hey! Wait Sugawara!" I yelled after him but he closed the door tightly behind him. I stood there really confused but I didn't want him to not confess to me. I want him to tell me his feelings for me so I can gradually return them.

I opened my door and ran after him but slipping and tripping while wearing my home slippers. "Sugawara wait!-aH! Fuck" I screamed after his figure until my body fell. I scraped my knee badly and it instantly started to bleed. I winced in pain as I tried to stand back up but couldn't.

"(Y/n)!? Are you okay? Why did you run after me?" Suga asked as he fell next to me and examined my knee. I became impatient and grabbed his shirt with force. "I want you to tell me you like me. Tell me so I can like you back!" I begged him with soft tears forming on the corners of my eyes.

His body physically tensed as he quickly picked me up with one hand on my back and the other beneath my thighs. He brought us back at my home and quickly walked over to my bathroom. He let me sit on the bathtub as he took some toilet paper and softly cleaned my wound.

"Sorry if I hurt you" he apologized as I softly cried at the pain. He then placed a bandaid over my knee and patted it with a smile. "There you go!" He said as he placed his hands on my knees. His lips quivered as if he wanted to say something.

I sighed as I placed my hands on top of his and it made him look up at me. "Suga, please tell me" I said with a comforting smile. He stared for a while but then nodded. He looked down as he began to confess to me while gripping my knees but watching for my bad one.

I gripped his hands back as he finished his speech. I took one hand and brought his face back up and smiled brightly. "I obviously like you back suga! Why were so worked up for?" I asked him as he moved my hand to his cheek as he nuzzled to it.

"I didn't want to lose you (y/n). Things like this are scary" he said with a chuckle. I laughed and sighed. "Not to me!" I said as he shook his head and got up.

"Well I'll go home. I'll see you tomorrow okay?" He said. I nodded as I tried to stand but clinged to his arm for some support. We made his way to the door. Before he could leave I pulled his arm and softly kissed his cheek.

He blushed madly as he looked at me for an answer. "I'll give you a real one tomorrow!" I said as I closed the door. I blushed furiously at what I just did and walked slowly to my room.

Extra:

"Hey (y/n)! Oh why are you holding onto Sugawara?" Tanaka exclaimed as I entered the gym tightly holding onto sugas arm for support.

"Are you finally dating? Congrats" Daichi said as he walked and got a ball from the side of the gym. I blushed as I covered my face as I shoved it to his arm.

"Woah!! Go (y/n)!" Hinata exclaimed as he came over and gave me a high five. "But also because I scrapped my knee chasing after him" I said but I regretted after since Daichi and asahi started to lecture him on how I got hurt because of him.
