"Class, quiet down! We have a new student joining our class" the teacher said in a harsh tone as the 3rd year middle schoolers shushed and calmed themselves down. They had their eyes glued onto the doors waiting for this new student to show up.

"What do you think it'll be this time?" A boy asked his other three best friends with a smirk. He got smacked harshly down by his neck by one with curly black hair. "Your mind always goes to the gutters".

The door slid open and a young boy walked in. He had a soft smile on his face as he closed the door behind him quietly and walked over to stand next to the teacher.

"You can introduce yourself" the teacher said as they placed their hand on the boys shoulder. His body flinched a little then he nodded softly. He stepped forward a little then bowed lightly and waved.

Then, he stood there with a soft smile. No one in the classroom said anything. Not even the boys from earlier. The teacher gasped loudly and turned towards the board. They took a marker and handed it to the boy.

He smiled and wrote his name and a few words right after and moved out of the way so his classmates could read his name clearly. Suddenly, questions started to erupt from the moment they just experienced.

"His name is (y/n). Please treat him just like everyone else" the teacher said as they pointed to the empty seat that was in front of the boys from earlier. The boy quickly made his way to his seat and smiled as the students around him asked him questions.

"Hey! He can't answer when you don't give him time to respond" oikawa suddenly said as he turned backwards from his seat to look at this new boy. "I'm oikawa. Over there, that's iwaizumi. Those two behind you are matsukawa and hanamaki". The boy nodded and waved towards them with a faint blush.

"Why are you so quiet? Can't talk or something?" Oikawa asked and a harsh slap was sent his way. "Dumbass! Don't be so rude like that..I'm sorry for my friend" iwaizumi apologized on behalf of oikawa.

The boy only smiled and then he took out his notebook. He took his pen and started to jot down a few words. He lifted the book so the four boys could read, as well for the nearby classmates.

Oikawa gasped softly as he brought his hands up to his mouth and covered it in shock. The boy only shyly looked down and lowered the book. "I'm so sorry I didn't know! Please forgive me" oikawa apologized.

The boy jumped at the words and flailed his hands and quickly wrote down on his book and showed it to oikawa. 'You didn't know so it isn't your fault !'.

"So you're mute?" Classmates asked the boy, which he answered by the only ways he can: he nodded. They gave an apologetic look and turned away towards their own business quickly uninterested in the new boy.

"Well, (y/n). You'll be our new best friend from now on so you have to hang out with us!" Oikawa said earning nods from his other three friends who agreed with him. The boy felt a warm feeling in his chest and almost jumped out of his seat out of excitement.

The boy mistakenly signed 'thank you' as he extended his fingers and lifted them from his chin towards the boys. "Hm? You giving us a kiss?" The boy with curly hair asked.

"No dumbass! He uses sign language" iwaizumi said as he signed it back to the boy, which caught him off-guard. "Iwa-Chan?! You know sign language?" Oikawa asked as iwaizumi sighed and nodded. "Yeah, I practice it since one of my neighbors is deaf"

"That's so fucking cool! We should all learn so (y/n) can feel more comfortable and not have to write so much" makki suggested and the others quickly agreed making the said boy smile so brightly his cheeks started to hurt.

"Dude get out of the way!" A boy said as he shoved the smaller one against the locker making him whimper in pain. He held onto his arm as the pain shook him softly. The boy who pushed him looked back and smiled.

"Oh, heyy!~ aren't you that mute 2nd year kid?" The boy asked as his other friends quickly huddled up around the quivering boy. All he could do was slowly nod and look towards his shoes hoping they wouldn't hurt him like the other boys would.

"Why don't you apologize to me? Since you bumped into me" the boy said half laughing throughout his sentence. (Y/n) looked up confusingly until the boy slammed his hand against the locker beside his head making him squirm in fear.

"Cmon! Use your words. We all know you can speak like here let me help you~" the boy said as he harshly gripped to the smaller boys chin. (Y/n) yelped as he tried to pull away from his grip but he knew he had nowhere to run since none of the other boys have moved an inch.

The boy was going to pry his mouth open until a sudden voice caught their attention. "Get off of him before I whoop your ass right here!" A strong third year boy said as he dropped his bag towards the floor.

The boy harshly let go of the boy and threw him against the floor as he turned his attention to the other male. "Oh if it isn't iwaizumi! Why are you defending this freak? Weren't we friends?" He asked as he took steps forward and started to take off his school blazer.

"That's none of your concern. Now, you better stop messing with him from this day moving forward" iwaizumi said with a strict tone. The other boy tried to hold his laughter but didn't help at all. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! You're just so stupid acting all brave like this!"

"(Y/n)! I came as fast as possible! Are you hurt?" Oikawa said as he rushed towards the boy on the floor and helped him get up on his feet. The boy shook his head with a soft smile.

"Cmon let's get away from here-" Oikawa said as he began to push the male away from the commotion but the boy pulled on his shirt. He pointed towards iwaizumi with a questionable look.

"Oh! Don't worry about iwa-Chan! He can totally win this! Now let's go with matsun and makki" Oikawa reassured (y/n) as they left the scene and avoided the teachers who were running towards the fight already.

"Did you hear (y/n)?!" Makki exclaimed as he sat next to the said male. He took a bite off of his sandwich and shook his head. Makki giggled as he moved his phone screen towards the males face with no warning.

It was on FaceTime and the other male was iwaizumi. (Y/n) blushed furiously and shoved the phone away as Oikawa awe'd and matsun was dying of laughter.

"Oh I didn't tell you. Iwaizumi actually won the fight with that kid so he won't bother you" Oikawa said making (y/n) smile with gratitude and turned towards the screen and signed a thank you.

"But he's suspended for a week" matsun said as he picked at his cold spaghetti. They all sighed sadly but then laughed afterwards. "Say, I know I hate (y/n)'s bullies but I wonder why iwaizumi went so far as to fight one?~" Makki said making (y/n) choke on his bite.

"Ah! That's true they could've just talked it out like the other times~" matsun said. Oikawa softly giggled as he saw his childhood best friend stutter through the screen. "Whatever, I got to go. Make sure (y/n) is safe and okay" iwaizumi said as he left the call making matsun snort.

"He doesn't even try to hide it" Makki admitted. They turned to the other male and almost felt bad. He was so flushed in embarrassment that his ears were so reddened you can feel the heat they were emitting.

"(Y/n)?" A man asked at the open air. He was only wearing sweatpants and had two mugs filled with coffee as he walked over to the large bed.

He set the mugs down by the nightstand and sighed softly. "Wake up baby, it's almost noon" he said as he sat down by the other male and the bed dipped noticeably.

The only response from the said male was a groan as he moved his head to the other side and continued to sleep. The bigger male sighed as he stood up from his spot and moved in front of the male.

He then brought his arms beneath the male and picked him up quickly making the male squeal in surprise. He quickly clung onto the male in fear of being dropped.

"Let me help you, sleepyhead" the man said as he took both of them towards the shared bathroom and helped the smaller one brush his teeth and use the bathroom.

After a few moments the other one was fully awake as he quickly walked over to the mugs and took his. His feet made little padding noises as he did so making the other man smile widely.

"Wanna go watch something before we start the day?" The man asked as he took his mug as well and took big sips from it. The smaller one nodded quickly and walked out of the room towards the living room and sat down on the couch.

The man followed and sat next to him, the smaller one snuggled closer almost instantly as the man clicked on random shows until one was interesting enough to watch.

The both males cuddled up against each other feeling the warm warmth as their lazy day started to move into function. The smaller male suddenly tapped on the other ones shoulder.

"Hm? What's up (y/n)?" He asked as he looked at the other with a smile, he practically has glued on his face whenever he's around the other.

(Y/n) signed different words slowly so the other could understand. 'I had a dream about our past' he signed. The other male nodded and waited for the other to continue. 'I want to tell you something' he slowly signed.

"Oh? What is it? You can always tell me anything baby" he said as he readjusted himself to clearly read the signs to not mistaken anything. (Y/n) was waiting, mostly because his nerves were making his hands shake softly.

His ears shot in heat and the back of his neck grew a hue of red as he brought his shaking hands up and tried his best to sign the words to his lover. 'I love you, Hajime'

He then dropped his hands and looked down. Even though, him and iwaizumi have been dating for a few years now, it still makes him extremely nervous and scared.

He then felt strong arms embrace him tightly and he flinched softly. "Fuck, if you didn't say that soon , I would've to pawn your wedding ring" iwaizumi said making (y/n) jump and pull him away and examined his face.

His eyes glanced quickly around trying to find the crack or the laughter but nothing was there except for the big smile iwaizumi was displaying. Iwaizumi then dig into his sweatpants and cleared his throat.

"Sorry this isn't so romantic as I wanted it to be when I planned this but I wanted to ask you this as soon as possible since I love you so much. So, (y/n). Will you make me the happiest fucking man on earth and marry me?" Iwaizumi said in one breath making him breathe nervously in the end of his speech.

(Y/n) wanted to shout those three special words to hajime but he knew he couldn't. Not even after these years, he still can't speak. So he cried. He cried so much his eyes became red and puffy. He gripped his lover into his chest and cried into his shoulder as he kept shaking his head yes.

"You know, you made me kind of worried. I know people cry when proposed but you seemed like you didn't-" iwaizumi began but (y/n) slapped his hand over his mouth and shook his head no.

He pointed towards his own heart and then back at him with a sincere look. Hajime chuckled and leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on his nose. "You're right. I love you and you love me".
