"Um! Can I ask for some advice?" Goshiki asked his teammates as they were resting from their hard practice this warm evening.

The warm summer was finally setting down on the gym as it became extremely warm and heavy as the days progressed. The slight chirps of the birds snapped goshiki back to the present as he slightly bowed.

"Oh!~ Goshiki. What do you need help with?~" Tendō asked as he stood up from the bench he was currently sitting on and smiled brightly. His other friends nodded as they waited for Goshiki to continue.

"I-it's- about how I have..feelings for someone" He muttered softly. The sudden comment made most of them perk up with either a smirk or a surprised expression. Even ushijima tensed up at his words.

"Woah! Who's this person?" Semi asked as he smiled and goshiki blushed and looked down at his hands nervously. "It-it doesn't matter! I just need help with confessing..".

They saved their jokes and teases for another time since Goshiki really looked serious about all this despite his nervousness. They made him sit down and explain his situation. They carefully registered everything and smiled.

"Just go for it, geez" Shirabu said annoyed as he walked off while heading towards the locker room. Goshiki stood there with a thin line pressed on his lips as he slowly rocked on his feet not knowing why he stormed off rudely.

Of course he's like that but why right now? Goshiki turned back to his friends who jumped up and started to encourage him with words and slight pats on his shoulders. "Just like Shirabu said, go for it goshiki" Ōhira said with a smile.

Goshiki smiled brightly and bowed once again. "Thank you so much!" He said as he stood once again and headed to the locker room to change. His friends followed him after a few seconds of teasing Goshiki without him knowing.

Shirabu growled to himself as he slammed his locker shut and left his hand against it with an angry expression. He heard the door open and he quickly wiped his face with his towel and began to change from his clothes.

"Hey, Shirabu. You okay?" He heard the familiar friend of him say as he walked up to him with a concern look. "I'm all good, just a little stressed ahaha!" Shirabu tried to lie but Semi knew him too well.

He leaned against the locker with his arms crossed and waited for him to tell him. Shirabu gripped the hem of his shirt and dropped down to his knees and gripped himself to a ball and shouted loud enough for only both of them to hear, "I LOVE HIM SEMI! I...love..goshiki.." he finally said it.

Semi dropped down to comfort his friend as he softly weeped on his shoulder rubbing slight circles on his back. "It's okay Shirabu. You're okay" semi said in order to comfort his sad friend.

The day ended quite fast seeing that the sun was not even fazed at all and was still shining brightly despite it being past five in the afternoon. Goshiki walked home by himself as he thought of ways to reveal his feelings for this other person.

He made it home just in time for his mom's cooking. He quickly dashed around to drop his things off and run to her side to help with anything she needed help with at the moment.

"It's okay dear. Go call your father down" she said with her wrinkled smile. Goshiki nodded and softly walked up the stairs to his fathers study room. He tapped it hard but quietly to alert the man in the other side.

"Yes?"

"Mom said to come and eat" goshiki said. He heard his father move around and opened the door quietly. He looked down at his son and ruffled his dark black hair with his big hand. "Thanks kiddo".

Goshiki sat on his desk with a pencil on his hand while the other gripped his sheet of paper. He was struggling to come up with words to perfectly express his feelings towards his crush.

"Ugh! Just write them down who cares at this point!" He said to himself as he jotted them down quickly to avoid thinking too much and overthink.

He pulled his pencil away as he sighed in relief. He then got back to it and made very minimal changes and smiled brightly. It was perfect as he closed off the letter and placed it in an envelope and quickly set it close by so he could get his well much needed sleep.

-the next day-

I hurried to my shoe locker since it was the end of the day. I brushed a strand of hair behind my red ears as I opened my locker and a note fluttered out and I caught it before it fell.

To (Y/n). It read in big words in the front of the letter. I looked around among the other students but none of them payed attention to me. I looked back to it and quickly changed my shoes and walked to the side to open it.

I softly picked at the seal and opened the letter. I gasped nervously as I slapped a hand over my mouth. Someone wrote down their intense feelings about me without a second thought. I blushed as my face grew red as I looked down to see if someone signed their name but it only read, 'meet me behind the school at the end of the day'.

I jumped at the sudden request but quickly gripped my bag and quickly made my way feeling a little guilty for holding them up for a while.

I rushed over and turned the corner. I made contact with Goshiki. I smiled brightly and waved over at him, startling him. "H-hey!" I said as I walked up to him and leaned against the wall trying to stop my beating heart.

He didn't say anything and I shyly side glanced over at him but he moved around and stood in front of me. "Wh-" I began but he cut me off as he threw his hand out and bowed lightly.

His free hand that was down his side gripped his pant leg as he shouted quite loud for both of us to hear clearly. "I like you, (y/n)! Please go out with me?" He said. His face was towards the floor to avoid rejection.

I blushed as I gripped the letter in my hands. "A-aH! Was this y-you?" I asked him as I rattled the letter in my hands frantically. Goshiki lifted his head and shook his head , yes.

The tips of his ears were tinted pink as he tried his best to keep his eyes on me. My face became extremely red as I didn't know how to properly say anything. My chest wouldn't stop beating so fast.

"I-it's okay. You can say no (y/n). You probably don't even swing that way so I'm sorry!-" goshiki tried to apologize but I threw my hands up to prevent him from bowing once again.

"N-no! I...like you too!" I said fighting through my shyness as I averted his eyes. The tension between us was quite heavy as I started to play with his letter to calm down my nerves.

"F-for real? You serious?!" He yelled excitedly as he stepped closer to me. I jumped up and gulped nervously. "Y-yeah!" I said with the same tone to match him.

A big wide smile made its way onto his red face as he clenched his hand tightly and threw it up like he would do when he would score a point in volleyball all by himself.

"Yes! C-can I walk you home?" He asked as the sun slightly started to set. I nodded as I placed the letter back in its envelope and put it in my front pocket.

We walked home slightly talking with topics that came up in our heads as the sun finally started to set. It looked very pretty beside it being bright for my liking.

My street was coming up over this corner and Goshiki pulled on my sleeve making me stop walking and turn to him with an eyebrow raised.

"I-um! Can..I..Uh.." goshiki began as he stumbled over his words. I nervously stood there looking up at him slightly with confusion until his eyes moved from the floor towards me, more accurately at my lips.

I flinched slightly as my body began to shake in nervousness. I knew what he wanted to do but my lips still trembled from how loud the ringing in my ear was being. 'Calm down! It's just goshiki! He wouldn't hurt you' i thought and I managed to calm down for a few seconds.

"I...if you want to.. then I'm okay with it" I said after Goshiki struggled with his words for the second time. Goshiki widened his eyes but then smiled brightly. We both blushed when our eyes met.

"I haven't kissed..anyone though" I informed him as he placed his trembling hands on both sides of my cheeks as his right thumb and pointer finger slightly rugged at my ear. He lightly laughed as he smiled down at me. "I haven't either.."

I smiled as the nervousness lightly went away knowing it was both our first kiss so we wouldn't feel awkward or embarrassed if we messed up that much.

I placed my hands around his waist and pulled him closer as he cupped my face. The warm breeze made this feel ten times better.

The whole scenery felt just right that it made my stomach feel all queasy. It made my knees weak. "Tell me I-if you want to stop" Goshiki said as our faces shyly inches closer as I nodded knowing fully well I wasn't going to.

Our eyes fluttered shut as our faces were drawn together and our lips smashed together. Our lips stayed together very still for a few seconds, just admiring the other's lips and how they felt until Goshiki moved his lips and tilted his face to the side.

It made my stomach flutter in butterflies as my hands gripped his waist tighter as our lips moved slowly but passionately under the warm weather. His hands grew warm as the sound of our lips smacking was vividly heard over the other many sounds in our surroundings.

It felt quite nice. Despite it being awkward in such silence. It didn't really matter since it was just Goshiki and I with no other care in the world. We breathed through our noses not wanting to pull away despite knowing we needed to breathe.
