Your reputation at Aoba Josai was that third wheel best friend amongst your group of friends.

You could have never wished for any other reputation; you loved yourself because of that.

You were the only one in your group of friends who wasn't dating.

Your third wheel skills were the top of the top.

You had a slight crush on someone, but you hid your feelings deep in your heart because he was already dating someone else.

It wasn't much of a big deal anyways.

Besides, to you, being that awesome third wheel seemed almost better than dating someone.

You didn't have to risk heartbreak or rejection, and you were the trustable friend who'd always lend a shoulder to cry on.

That was your reputation.

And you were very proud of it.

You kept a three foot distance from Oikawa, Iwaizumi, and their girlfriends.

Correction: Oikawa's girlfriend. Iwaizumi's girl ran off somewhere earlier.

Seeing as they were enjoying themselves oh so much, you smirked to yourself and decided to play what you liked to call The Third Wheel Game.

You plastered a big, cheery grin on your face and skipped right in between the three.

"Hmm~" you hummed happily, turning a bit and into your classroom.

Your three friends stopped their talk and looked at you curiously.

"(F/N)-chan!" Aiko, Oikawa's girlfriend called.

You mumbled a little "Oh?" and walked towards them.

"Yes, what do you need~?" you chirped.

"What's with that cheeky grin?" Iwaizumi pointed.

"Oh nothing~" you smile even wider.

"(F/N)-chan! What's up? Tell us!" Oikawa pleaded.

"I was just thinking of someone~" you tease.

"Who?" he begs.

You opened your mouth to say something, but the bell rang at the perfect time.

Your acting skills exceeded the ordinary.

Not to mention, you little game was going ever so well, and you loved it so much.

~Time Skip~

You hold out your bento in your hands and look around.

Acting like you needed a place to sit, was also part of your game.

"(F/N)-chaaan! Over here~!" Oikawa waved.

You turn in their direction, and mentally laugh a good laugh, seeing as your plan was going very very well.

"May I sit?" you asked.

"Of course. You're our best friend, duh." Aiko replies.

"Where's Remi?" you open your bento.

"Oh, she had an errand to do," Iwaizumi sighed. "She's been running off a lot lately,"

"Is that so?" you say, taking a bite of your food.

Iwaizumi nodded sadly and continued eating.

"By the way, you never got to tell us who or what you were thinking of," Oikawa remembers.

"Oh? Who was I thinking of? Did I ever say that?" you ask in one of those purposely fake tones.

"(F/N)!" Aiko playfully punches you.

"Oh, it was no one," you answer, wiping your mouth. "Anyways, I need to use the bathroom~"
You hop out of your seat and head towards the bathroom.

You bump into someone acidentally, and they quickly apologize.

"I am so sorry please forgive me! Oh! (F/N)?" Remi asks.

"Remi! Iwa-chan was looking for you!" you smile a fake smile.

For some reason, you've been suspicious about Remi ever since her and Iwaizumi had started dating.

She was too friendly for your liking.

"Hajime-kun? Oh! I see! I'll go head to him now. See you later and take care, (F/N)-chan!" she bows and continues.

That Remi. Where has she been? you wonder to yourself.

You head to the bathroom moodily.

Seeing that girl wasn't exactly your cup of tea.

"Ha-ji-me-kun~! Let's walk home together along with Oikawa, Aiko, and (F/N)~!" Remi tugs on Iwaizumi's sleeve.

"Okay, cupcake. Let's go then!" Iwaizumi smiled.

Veins pop on your forehead.

Cup. Freaking. Cake.

What the freaking hell was that?

You shrug it off eventually because you see this as an amazing opportunity to continue on with The Third Wheel Game.

You guys were on your way to Remi's home, because you were gonna drop her off.

Halfway there, you see that the two couples had intertwined fingers, so you smirked to yourself.

"Hajime~ I love you~!" Remi squeaks.

"Remi-chan, I love you too," Iwaizumi huffs.

You steal the opportunity to interrupt them and hum loudly.

You start to skip and smile your famous smile.

"Hmmmm~! Hmmmm~!" you hum and skip right ahead of them.

That truly caught their eyes.

You twirl around and continue on, acting like a happy little girl who had received just what she wanted.

"There she goes again! Her thoughts have taken over!" Oikawa yelped and pointed at you.

You turn around, tilt your head to the side a bit, and giggle cutely.

Everyone was shocked by your sudden cuteness.

You even shocked yourself, which left you blushing a bit.

"Gyah! Kawaii-desu!" Aiko shouts and points at you too.

"Ehh? I was just thinking again!" you state.

"Who is this mystery person? Spit it out already!" Oikawa yells impatiently.

"You noisy brat!" Iwaizumi hits Oikawa's head.

"Oww! That hurt Iwa-chan!" the brunette whines.

"It's your own damn fault that hurt, Trashikawa!" Iwaizumi continues and hits the poor guy again.

~Time Skip Again! It's a week later~

You guys were walking home together again.

You could sense the awkward tension between you, Aiko, Iwaizumi, and Oikawa.

Remi wasn't with you. She hadn't been for a few days.

Aiko and Oikawa looked at the floor avoidingly, and Iwaizumi looked plain terrible.

You were tired of this; this was going on for days now.

Sometimes, you couldn't help but feel left out too.

"I'm going ahead. Bye." you snap and head towards the direction of your home.

"(F-F/N)?" Aiko asks cautiously.

"Just leave me alone! Am I not your friend anymore?!" you shout.

"What are you saying? Of course you're our friend! We don't know what you're talking abo-" she continues but is cut off.

"Don't say a word! You guys are hiding something from me, and I know it! I knew I wasn't a good enough friend for you guys anyways!" you yell and start to run. "I can't help but feel left out between the four of you sometimes! It's always Remi, You, Oikawa, and Iwaizumi all the time! We haven't even been sitting together lately!"

"(F/N)!" Iwaizumi yells.

"No!" was all you could say.

Tears spilled out from your eyes, but you wiped them away.

Being a third wheel had its limits too.

You ran twice as fast as you usually did because Oikawa was basically filled with Nitrogen.

You couldn't bear it anymore.

Though you loved being an interruptor and a third wheel, there were also times that you wished people would also recognize you as something else.

You sometimes secretly wished that you'd have some other friends who were single so you wouldn't feel so left out in all the conversations, whatnot.

They were gaining on you, but you saw your house up ahead.

You got in, slammed the door shut, and dropped to your knees.

You whimpered and hugged your knees tightly.

"(F/N)!" Oikawa yelled.

"Open up!" Iwaizumi shouted.

"We're sorry!" Aiko added.

They thought of climbing in through the window, but realized that talking to you from outside was better.

"Remi and I... we broke up," Iwaizumi said, pain could be heard from the tone of his voice.

That broke some of the strings inside of you.

How dare that woman.

It hit you harder than usual.

Maybe it was because Iwaizumi was that guy you liked, but had to shut your feelings away because he liked someone else.

"We're sorry for leaving you out... we didn't want you to kill Remi," he explained. "I'm sorry,"

"You were that one friend I could always trust. That one friend who distanced herself, not wanting to be a bother, but bothered us in the most unbothering way possible."

"You went unnoticed. You were always in the shadows. We got all the recognition, but you, you were the one that truly lifted our hearts and supported us."

"And we'd never notice how left out you were because you are damn good at hiding your feelings."

"You were so good that we started to believe you loved being the third wheel."

"And to be honest, I don't know if you still love it. Being the third wheel can also develop unknown lonliness."

"But in the end, I realized that we are like people in a TV show. Me, Oikawa, Aiko, and even Remi, we were like the stars. And you, you're the most underrated character in the whole damn series."

"And the thing about underrated characters, is that when people finally notice them, they realize how good of a character that character is, and put them where they should be."

"And I believe, (F/N), that you don't deserve to be lonely. You don't deserve to be left out. You deserve to have a lot of happy friends who will support you just like you do to them. You deserve much more than you get. And we're sorry that we couldn't do that. I'm sorry,"

"Forgive us. Forgive me,"

You start to cry even more.

But they weren't tears of sadness- they were tears of joy and relief.

You opened the door a tiny bit to see a very sad Iwaizumi, a guilty Aiko, and a very emotional Oikawa.

"F-Forgiven," you sniffle.

Iwaizumi engulfs you in a big hug.

"You deserve much better, (F/N)-chan. I was going to to tell you that I loved you way more than I had known, but I realized that I am not enough for someone like you," he cries.

"But what if I told you I liked you from the very beginning?" you squeak.

Iwaizumi stands in shock.

You give him a small smile.

"I love you. Dammit, I love you. I love you and I should have right from the time we met,"

"That's okay. I love you even so,"

"THAT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL IWA-CHAN!" Oikawa sheds tears, but receives a slap on the head instead of a thank you.

"YOU ARE THE MOST FORGIVING PERSON I KNOW," Aiko claps.

"Come here you two," you laugh and hug them as well.

After a while, you guys settle in inside your home.

After sipping a bit of tea, a fantastic idea pops up inside of your brain.

"Wait! So does that mean-" you excitedly grin and stand up on the table.

Everyone turns to you, curiously.

"I HAVE THIRD WHEEL BUDDIES AND WE CAN ALL INTERRUPT PEOPLE'S LOVE STORIES TOGETHER!"
