Pale hands flailed in the water, cries of help were drowned out by the currents of the river. A cold body just waiting for the pain to end. But it seemed it wouldn't. He sucked in his last breath, his last piece of life, and let himself be consumed by the water. Coldness reached every inch of his body, bringing him closer to death, but no memories had yet rushed back. He was alive , yet he was dying.
He reached a muddy bank after what seemed like hours, and he felt like he was so close to death. He wanted to die in the winter's rain. Everything pointed to death. He closed his eyes, he believed they were never going to open again.
He woke up to voices, and he opened his eyes. He felt, he knew, that he was alive. He looked up to the ceiling and blinked back tears. He then began to cry silently, because he didn't want to disturb the owner of the house with his sobs. The door opened and Ennoshita stopped breathing. He didn't want to even move. Footsteps approached and Ennoshita needed to breathe. And once he started breathing, the footsteps stopped and he heard a sigh of relief. "Thank god, you're still breathing." the voice whispered. But before the voice's holder left, Ennoshita let out a pained cry. Another pair of footsteps came into the room. A hand touched Ennoshita's back and pain shot through him. He cried out.  "Why did you do that, Daichi?" the first voice growled. The second voice growled back," Tanaka, he is in pain. Now help me move him onto his stomach."
Daichi and Tanaka carefully moved Ennoshita onto stomach and Daichi felt guilty when Ennoshita had started to cry when he was put onto his stomach. Tanaka was just anxious and angry. Daichi lifted Ennoshita's shirt carefully, revealing old and fresh scars. Ennoshita gasped as the cold air his back. A silver-haired male entered the room. "Are you feeling okay?" the male asked.  Ennoshita gave him an thumbs up and thumbs down. "And your name?" Tanaka asked politely. 
"Ennoshita Chikara." he said with a raspy voice. The male responded, saying his name was Sugawara Koushi,  but wished to be called Suga. Ennoshita was about to speak when all the sudden, he had fainted.
