Your eyes narrowed from your bench seat as you peered up from your bento to see a horde of girls clustered around a certain light haired setter.

'Sugaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,' you groaned inwardly as your bottom right eyelid twitched, envy gurgling in the pit of your stomach.

As far as you should tell, the strawberry pink haired girl was trying to ask Suga-San out, her girl friends cheering (see: squealing) her on in a not-so-unnoticeable manner. You could tell by the way she was overly fluttering her eyelashes and putting on a forced cute face, as she flushed red, twirling her hair at the tall volleyball player.

Or maybe it was her purposely loud and sickly sweet voice, made audible enough for everyone within a three mile radius to hear: "Suga-kuuuuunnnn~" You grind your teeth so hard, you swear you hear them breaking. "Go out with meeee?"

You deadpanned at the plastered look on her face, as she inches closer to Sugawara, forcing a terrible puppy dog face. The third year, to your relief, is unfazed. He bows hastily. "Gomen, Nikishima-san. I refuse."

You snicker in triumph at her whines and exaggerated sobs, only to realize that the tall setter is now walking towards you. Immediately, you stop, and avert your eyes to your rice and hotdog octopi. Hastily, you get up and seal your bento, walking briskly away.

"Ne, [Last]-san!" he calls, from across the courtyard. You freeze at the sound of his voice, and you stiffly turn to face him, a light blush on your cheeks. He lifts his hand to the side of his mouth, to amplify his voice. "Go out with me this weekend?"

When he's grinning like that, with that little spark of amusement in his eye, how could you say no?
