Chapter 2; The Letters

Wednesday - "Between electrocution and the cruciatus; I can't possibly choose. What do you think Hadrian?"

The black haired, green eyed boy had already started connecting wires for the electric chair their mother was so kind to gift them. Pugsley sat in the chair ready to go as Wednesday watched in fascination. Hadrian stood next to Wednesday, watching their older brother spasm after Wednesday flipped the switch.

Morticia - "Children, it's time for breakfast."

Wednesday - "Coming Mother!"

Wednesday unstrapped Pugsley as Hadrian shut the machine down. Hadrian gave Pugsley some healing potion to ensure there was no permanent nerve damage. The three of them made their way downstairs with Hadrian hanging from his older brother's neck.

Morticia - "Did you have fun with your present children?"

Wednesday - "Yes Mother. Hadrian and I greatly enjoyed electrocuting Pugsley."

Hadrian nodded rapidly with a big smile on his face. The small ten year old didn't speak much, but he could always convey what he wanted to say through body language and the occanisional sign language.

Pugsley - "Here comes the mail!"

Hadrian's head flew to the window as the family owl, Hermes was let in. Wednesday caught the letters, their father caught the paper, and Hadrian caught the magazine he ordered. He flipped though many different pages of sweets and their recipes. Two letters, one with his name, and the other with his dead name, written in emerald ink covered a tasty looking picture of baked alaska.

Wednesday - "Brother, your Hogwarts letter is here."

Hadrian took his letter from his sister and read it carefully, giving the other to Thing to dispose of.

Hadrian - "No brooms?"

Morticia - "Apparently not dear. No matter. You always have next year for Quidditch. Gomez, I'll take Lurch and the children to Silver Moon Alley while you and Fester handle things here."

Gomez - "Very well, Tish."

Hadrian averted his gaze from his very in love parents and flipped the page in his magazine. He showed the picture of Ube Jam to Wednesday.

Morticia - "Alright children, get ready. We will be leaving for Silver Moon in fifteen minutes."

Wednesday - "Let's go prepare Hadrian."

Hadrian followed his sister to their sort of joint room. They shared the same room, by knocking a hole the roof to Wednesday's room and putting a ladder up the wall into Hadrian's room.

Wednesday - "Hadrian, I'll get dressed then help pick out your outfit."

Hadrian - "Okay."

Hadrian climbed up the ladder and sat on his bed. His room was very simple, closely resembling Wednesday's, but he had two flags on the walls and a big cushy bed for sleepovers. The first flag was a big rainbow one next to his dresser/wardrobe, and on the roof was a big transgender flag (FtM). He didn't need to take his next T. shot for another week so he sat on his bed looking through the many yummy culturally diverse sweets in his magazine.

Wednesday - "Hadrian."

Placing his magazine down, Hadrian stood up and followed Wednesday to his wardrobe. Wednesday handed him his dark green, almost black shirt, a pair of black shorts, dark grey socks, and black sneakers.

Wednesday - "I'll be in my room if you need me brother."

Hadrian - "Thank you Sister."

She gave him a rare, small, creepy grin and climbed down the ladder. Hadrian pulled the clothes on, but had a little trouble trying his shoes. He dropped them down the hole and climbed down after them.

Wednesday - "Can't tie your shoes?"

Hadrian nodded his head sheepishly.

"Alright, I'll show you how to do it again."

Despite being the same age, Wednesday and Hadrian took on a big sister little brother role for each other. The two smallest members of the Addams' household are by far the closest, going as far as sleeping in each other rooms at night.

Morticia - "Ready to go now children?"

Wednesday - "Yes Mother."

Hadrian pulled on his cloak before flooing to Silver Moon Alley. Once through, he saw Wednesday holding out her hand to him, which he gladly held onto. Pugsley already started walking to the shops to get things for his third year classes with Lurch.

Morticia - "Alright children, what shop would you like to visit first?"

Hadrian pointed to the closest Apothecary.

Wednesday - "Mother, we would like to go to Salem's Tonics and Poisons."

"Very well."

Hadrian quickly pulled Wednesday into the apothecary and quickly started putting ingredients into a provided basket.

Salem - "Hadrian, Wednesday! My two best customers! What can I help you with today?"

"Hello Salem. I would like to preorder a fresh batch of cyanide and arsenic, as well a venomous tentacula. Hadrian, would you like a new plant?"

Hadrian - "Mandrake."

Wednesday - "And two mandrakes."

Salem - "Very well Miss Wednesday. I'll get those out to you when you're attending school. Which one are you attending? Ivermorny? New Salem? Nevermore?"

Wednesday - "Hogwarts.

Salem - "Right. I'll have sent to your dorms. Hadrian, you don't need to take everything now. Just take the ones you want most right now and I'll send the rest to your house via Ginger Snap."

Hadrian - "Thank you Mr. Salem."

Hadrian paid for his ingredients and left the three baskets full of potions and ingredients by the counter. Their next stop was Bathsheba's Ancient Chronicles. Hadrian stood by helping Wednesday as she piled book after book in their tiny arms. Morticia chuckled at her children and gave her daughter a weightless, bottomless bag.

Wednesday - "Thank you Mother."

Hadrian's arms grew lighter as each book was tossed into the bag after payment.

Morticia - "Okay children, you go get measured for your robes while I get you both your first pet."

Wednesday led Hadrian by the hand to Morgana's Buttons and Pins.

Morgan - "Hello Wednesday, Hadrian. School robes?"

Wednesday - "For Hogwarts please."

Morgan - "Alright. Step up on the stool and don't interfere with the tape."

Hadrian hopped up on the stool and held his arms out. A magic measuring tape measured his height, width, his arms, and the diameter of his head. Wednesday received the same treatment.

Morgan - "Alright. Thank for your cooperation. I'll send your robes to your house tomorrow."

Wednesday - "Okay. Thank you."

Hadrian led Wednesday out and to The Wiccan's Icy Treats. Wednesday got a black cherry shaved ice while Hadrian got a lime sorbet. They got Pugsley a dark chocolate frozen yogurt with a preservation charm. They ate their frozen treats while they looked for their big brother and butler.

Pugsley - "Wednesday, Hadrian!"

Hadrian was pulled away from Pugsley's attempted tackle. He then held out the fro-yo to him.

Pugsley - "Aw, thanks squirt. What's up?"

Wednesday - "Pugsley, take us to Blair's Woodwork."

Pugsley - "Kay."

Pugsley threw his empty cup in a bin and lifted his little sister and brother on either shoulder.

Wednesday - "Brother, must you do this everytime we go someplace? It's bad enough you let Hadrian hang from your neck at home."

Pugsley - "I just like to show off how light you two are."

Wednesday - "It's not that we're light, it's because of your reserve Beater role on the Gryffindor Quidditch team."

Pugsley - "Yeah, and I just like to carry you two."

Hadrian laughed at his siblings conversation. Pugsley put his little siblings down and walked behind them into the wand shop. The shopkeep, Blair Manik, had messy frazzled hair tied in a bun on their head, a loose, stained, white shirt, brown pants, large purple eyes, and a pair of magnification goggles on their head.

Blair "Hey kids. Welcome and welcome back. Two wands I presume? Would you like a premade wand? A custom wand? A staff? A catalyst?"

Wednesday - "I will take a custom wand. Hadrian, what would you prefer?"

Hadrian started signing to his sister, not liking the excitable shopkeep.

Wednesday - "Hadrian will also have a custom wand and spell cache."

Blair - "Great, great, great! Come to the counter. I will hold out cases of wood and cores. Only take the ones that call out to you core."

True to their statement, they tapped their staff on the counter and a case on wood types zoomed in front of them. Hadrian jumped behind Wednesday, clutching her arm. He watched Wednesday close her eyes and hover her hand over the different wood until she picked one up. She did the same for the cores, but she picked up two.

Blair - "Very good, birch wood with basilisk venom and unicorn hair. Fascinating combination! Birch wood is nice and bendy and the differences in the cores! Poison and health! So awesome!"

Hadrian looked at Wednesday for support.

Wednesday - "Go ahead, it'll be okay."

Hadrian nodded his head and closed his eyes. He felt each core trying to call to him. For him to pick them up, but only one stood out to him. He lifted it up and felt it leave his tiny hand as quickly as came. He felt the second case move in front of him and he felt very different reactions than the wood. As the wood called out to him, almost none of the cores want anything to do with him. A few of them seemed to call out to him, but none really cared for him. He picked up two cores, like his sister, that really wanted him to take them.

Blair - "Perfect. Hazel wood, hawthorn flowers, and acromantula venom. Would you like the same combinations for you spell cache?"

Hadrian nodden quickly. The last thing he wanted was to spend anymore time in the shop. The irony of the wood almost made him cringe.

Blair - "Right. Your Wands and staff will be ready in roughly an hour. Feel free to leave your address and I will have my familiar deliver them to you."

A large vulture cawed at them from it's perch behind the counter. A name tag around its neck read Tiffiny.

Pugsley - "Here. Thanks for the help."

Pugsley paid the shopkeep and escorted his siblings out of the shop quickly. Hadrian quickly spotted their mother walking toward them with covered cages behind her.

Morticia - "Children. I have your new pets. Wednesday, you first."

Wednesday got her cage and uncovered a pitch black Swooping Evil.

Wednesday - "Thank you Mother. I will name him Socrates."

Pugsley - "Now you Hadrian."

Hadrian took his cage and uncovered it. A pure white, baby Thunderbird stood in the cage, gazing into Hadrian's very soul with big, crimson eyes.

Hadrian - "I love her Mother, thank you! Her name will be Hedwig!"

Hadrian reached into the cage and stroked under her beak tenderly. Hedwig affectionately nipped at is finger tips. Even in another universe and timeline, Hedwig and Hadrian will always find their way to each other.

Should I make a chapter of Hadrian coming out to his family? I'll do it, but only if people want to see it. Also, if I got anything wrong about T shots, please correct me, I don't want to get it wrong.
