BAKUGO took a deep breath in. he immediately went straight to the balance beam, not even going to attempt the red ribbon bullshit.

bakugo had great balance since he was always training for battles and wars. he learned very well to distribute his weight to different parts of his body.

thus, why he was so great on the balance beam.

kaminari was not exactly a fan of heights. but he still attempted the red ribbon with the hoop because he liked trying new things.

plus, his 2 1/2 brain cells convinced him that it'd be a good idea for him to try to climb up the ribbon super high and do a flip.

luckily when he fell, ashido was there to catch him. twins stick together and fall together.

yaoyorozu went up next. there was the stereotype of every god being buff and every goddess being slim. but yaoyorozu was one of the few goddesses that also had a fit physique.

she had defined muscles and when she got on that balance beam and climbed up that red ribbon, she was symmetrical and graceful.

"next up is shigaraki tomura", yamada called out.

shigaraki sighed. he walked onto the mats while stretching his arms. he wasn't entirely skin and bones, but neither was he all muscle.

the last time shigaraki has really "worked out" was when he helped zeus and poseidon fight off the titans.

shigaraki then tried real hard not to embarrass himself in front of manami, who was watching intently and giving him thumbs ups.

he got on the balance beam and did three front flips, landing on the mat. shigaraki then did lifted his arms up, forming a v.

claps were heard as shigaraki walked off the mat, rolling his eyes and still wondering where his dignity went. he snapped his fingers and immediately was seen wearing his normal tux and cape.

"that was great, shiggy!!", manami smiled, clasping her hands together.

"hm". shigaraki gave the girl a small smile, patting her neatly did bun that was on top of her head.

"manami kore!", yamada yelled.

"wish me luck!!", she said as she happily pranced onto the mats and in front of everyone. shigaraki watched as he didn't know what to expect. he slightly moved his hand out his cape, giving manami a small thumbs up.

manami smiled. taking a deep breath in, she hopped onto the balance beam. doing a front flip, manami landed on her feet. she then arched her back, making a small bridge with her body.

standing back up, she then back flipped off the beam, walking over to the bar with the hoop and ribbons.

despite not being a good fighter, manami was very flexible. she climbed up the ribbon with her somewhat decent upper body strength and tangled her legs within the ribbons.

doing an aerial with the hoop just like kayama did, she smiled, waving at her papa. aizawa gave her a head nod, indicating that he was proud of her.

she then dropped the hoop onto the ground and ended her performance with the splits, stretching her arms out for everyone to see.

"ta-daaa!!!", manami laughed.

she then got herself untangled from the ribbons and slid down, dropping into another split. claps and cheers were heard as she walked off the mat.

some even cat-called, making shigaraki scowl. when manami returned beside him, he took his cape off and draped it over manami, covering her entire body except for her head.

"hm??" manami innocently looked up at shigaraki.

"nothing. oh look, it's midoriya's turn!", shigaraki pointed, diverting manami's attention.

"oh! izuku is good!!", manami said, cheering one of her best friends on.

after the rest of the contestants went, the 12 of them were lined up on the mats, in front of the audience.

"in third place...issss yaoyorozu momo!!", yamada announced.

zeus then helped yaoyorozu wear the bronze medal. he shook her hand and smiled.

"runner up for first place...we actually have TWO contestants. takami keigo and shigaraki tomura!!", yamada said.

zeus snapped his fingers and two silver medals appeared. he handed one to each of the second place winners.

takami and shigaraki both looked at each other, confused. what were they supposed to do now? and who won first place??

"and for our 245th olympics winner...drum roll please!!"

many gods and goddesses started patting their laps, zeus even snapped his fingers to make the sound of thunder.

"MANAMI KORE!!", yamada announced. the crowd went wild.

"aw yay!!", manami cheered.

her father walked towards her, placing the gold medal around her neck and a leafy wreath on her head.

"great job kore! I'm very proud of you", zeus smiled, patting her head.

"thank you father!!" manami said as she jumped onto yagi and hugged him tightly. yagi laughed, patting the girl's back. it's been a while since he's given her a hug, especially with so many children.

aizawa came down from the seats to also give manami a hug. manami loved giving her fathers hugs, as she wasn't able to do so often.

"kore, I've missed you", aizawa mumbled. manami was still wearing shigaraki's cape, making aizawa scowl.

"I missed you too papa!!"

"manami", shigaraki said, walking towards her and aizawa.

"oh! umm...". manami awkwardly waddled to shigaraki.

"kore, come back to me. don't you miss me??", aizawa asked, making manami walk back to her papa.

"manami, don't you want some more lucky charms?", shigaraki asked, with a cynical smile.

"kore, we have food at home", aizawa replied, also cynically smiling.

"u-umm I can just switch between you guys every 6 months...", manami suggested.

both men looked at her. what a genius she was.

"I suppose", aizawa said, glaring at shigaraki, who just glared back.

with manami smiling, she left with shigaraki after giving her papa a kiss to the cheek.

and thus, that's how winter begun.
