~Prologue~ 

Third Person POV

Once upon a time, 20 years ago, Belle married her Beast in front of 6,000 of their closest personal friends. For a honey moon Beast united all of the kingdoms and got himself elected King of the United States of Auradon. He rounded up all the Villains and sidekicks, basically all everyone who made the stories entertaining, and he booted them off to the Isle of the Lost with a magical barrier to keep them there. No magic, no wi-fi, no way out.. until this story takes a turn for.. the better.

"Hey Ben." A smiling Jazlyn says as she walks into her best friend's room. The two of them had just clicked as kids, no one had to force them, no one had to make dates, they just did it themselves and up till this day the two continue to be as close as they were when they were kids.

"Hey Lyn." Ben says smiling back at her before his eyes wandered back to the Isle of the Lost.

"You're still hooked up on that huh?" Jazlyn asked taking a seat on his bed as the man taking Ben's measurements turned his head to get his head measurements.

"Yes, are you still going to help me?" Ben asked glancing at her as she smiled.

"Of course." She said just as Ben's parents walked into the room.

"How is it possible that you're going to be crowned king next month? You're just a baby." Beast says as he and his wife walk closer to their son.

"He's turning 16, dear." Belle answered him letting go of his hand to fix some clothing.

"16? That's far too young to be crowned king. I didn't make a good decision until I was at least 42." Beast says causing his wife to scoff.

"Uh, you decided to marry me at 28." Belle says.

"Well it was either you or a teapot." Beast says winking at the two children as they chuckle.

"Kidding." Beast says before Jazlyn placed her hand on Ben's shoulder's reassuring him and he nods.

"Mom, dad.." He starts before he's stopped by the man taking his feet measurements.

"I've chosen my first official proclamation." Ben says as Jazlyn stands next to him and his parents look at each other before looking back at him.

"I've decided that the children of the Isle of the Lost be given a chance to live here in Auradon. Every time I look out to the Isle I feel like they've been abandoned." Ben says stepping towards his parents this time without interruption.

"The children of our sworn enemies? Living among us?" Beast says.

"We start out with a few at first, only ones who need our help most. I've already chosen them." Ben says.

"Have you?" Beast asks looking rather angry and taking steps towards his son.

"I gave you a second chance." Belle says stopping him before looking at her so.

"Who are they're parents?" She asks.

"Cruella de Vil, Jafar, Evil Queen, Maleficent." Ben says causing panic on the man who was taking his measurements.

"Maleficent! She's the worst villain in the land!" Beast yells.

"Dad just hear me out here.." Ben tried but Beast interrupted him.

"I won't hear it. They are guilty of unspeakable crimes." Beast says.

"He wasn't done." Jazlyn says taking Ben's hand in an assuring way telling him that everything will be ok.

"There's one more kid we'd like to bring and that is Hades." Jazlyn says causing Beast to almost roar but she raised her hand.

"You will really hold the children responsible for the crimes of their parents? You will really deny help to those who need it, you will deny being good by giving a chance to kids who have never known kindness? Are you willing to become the kind of king who punishes the innocent for something they didn't choose?" Jazlyn says calm shutting the King.

"Dad their children are innocent. Don't you think they deserve a shot at a normal life? Dad?" Ben continued making Beast hesitate before looking at his wife and sighing.

"I suppose the children are innocent." Beast says before walking away and Belle goes to her son fixing his cloth.

"Well.. well done." She says before turning and walking to her husband and they left.

"I almost thought your dad would kill us." Jazlyn says laying on his bed as he looks at her before looking out the window to the Isle.

As Mal steals candy from a baby Hayden rolls his eyes as everyone laughed before everyone started running causing Hayden's eyes to look at the two people walking signalling their mother was here.

"Well there goes our fun." Hayden mumbles before Mal turns around.

"Hey mom." Mal says.

"Stealing candy, Mal? I'm so disappointed." Maleficent says.

"It was from a baby." Mal says causing a smile to come to Maleficent.

"That's my nasty little girl." Maleficent says before taking the candy, spitting on it, placing it under her armpit for a second or so before handing it over to one of the bodyguards.

"Give it back to the dreadful creature." She says as Mal whines.

"Mom.." She says before Maleficent looked ta her daughter.

"It's the deets, Mal, that make the difference between mean and truly evil. When I was your age I was cursing entire kingdoms, you.. walk with me. See I'm just trying to teach you the thing that really counts, how to be me." Hayden raised a brow before shaking his head as he heard that.

"I know that. And I'll do better." Mal answers before Maleficent remembered something.

"Oh. There's news! I buried the lead. You five have been chosen to go to a different school, in Auradon." Maleficent said causing Hayden to raise a brow as Evie, Jay, and Carlos tried to run but were stopped from doing so.

"What? I'm not going to some boarding school filled to the brim with prissy pink princesses!" Mal says.

"And perfect princes." Evie says causing Hayden to roll his eyes.

"Yeah, and I don't do uniforms. Unless it's leather. You feel me?" Jay says as Hayden nod his head to agree with him.

"I read somewhere that they allow dogs in Auradon. Mom said they're rabid pack animals who eat boys who don'd behave." Carlos says as Hayden rolled his eyes smirking when Jay scared him.

"Yeah mom, we're not going." Mal says.

"Oh, you thinking small pumpkin. It's all about world domination. Knuckleheads." Maleficent called before looking at her daughter and Mal looked at Hayden who shrugged and turned around to go to his dad's hide out.

"I'm guessing you found out?" Hades asks as soon as he saw his son. Hades wasn't a bad father, yes he wasn't always there but he wasn't trying to push his ideals into Hayden either. He complained about him being a god and not a villain but all in all he wasn't so bad.

"Yes." Hayden said simply.

"Are you going?" Hayden stopped before looking at his father.

"Maleficent is making Mal and the other's go. I may as well join them." He answers as Hades nodded walking to his son and giving him a hug.

"I'll miss you kiddo." Hayden froze before hugging his father back.

"Bye dad." He says before going to his room to pack and leave making it to the place where Mal lived to see the limo and getting on.
