Third Person POV

By now both Hayden and Mal had drawn in their lockers, Mal had made green flames with 'long live evil!' written on it with Maleficent's shadow and Hayden had a skull with blue flames (Pic up top). Jazlyn, Ben, Chad and Audrey walked out of the school with Chad and Audrey laughing before they noticed Mal, Hayden was behind them.

"Those kids are trouble." Chad says pointing at Mal after patting Ben's chest.

"Come on Chad. Give them a chance." Ben says making Jazlyn smirk.

"No, he's way too salty about Hayden beating his butt on practice to give them a chance." She says before Audrey rolled her eyes at Jazlyn and gave Ben a smile taking his hands.

"No offense, Bennybear, you're just too trusting. Look, I know your mom fell in love with a big nasty beast who turned out to be a prince. But with my mom, the evil fairy was just the evil fairy. That girls mother." Audrey says.

"He's not stupid Audrey, you don't need to talk to him as if he was a kid. And besides, I know you're wrong about them. They may cause trouble now but I have a feeling that in the future they will be a big part of Auradon." Jazlyn says suddenly noticing Hayden who smirked at her having heard what she said.

"Later Ben." She says before making her way towards Hayden.

"See you later." Ben says to everyone before making his way towards Mal.

"Hey." Jazlyn says as Hayden turns his head still looking at her.

"Hi." He says making her smile.

"How was your first day? I mean school wise after practice." Jazlyn says making Hayden chuckle finding himself comfortable enough to talk to her.

"Interesting." He says making her nod biting her lip before looking at the painting.

"I wish I could draw like that." She says while looking at it.

"I could teach you." He says leaning on the locker next to his smirking down at her as she blushes.

"I could go to your room later?" She says while looking into his eyes.

"Sure." He says making her smile.

"Cool." Jazlyn says still looking into his eyes.

"Are you ok?" Hayden says while looking at her and she shakes her head.

"Yeah, yes, uh, sorry you just have very beautiful eyes." She blurs out before blushing again and looking away and Hayden chuckles.

"Thanks, I'll see you later Jazlyn." He says before walking away leaving her behind surprised, that was the first time he called her by her name. She smiles before walking away as well, she had never felt like this before but she was certainly accepting the feelings that come with only the thought of him. 

Later Jazlyn found herself in front of his room taking a deep breath before knocking. Hayden looked at the door from his bed before getting up and opening it smiling a little when he saw Jazlyn.

"Hey." She says smiling as he opened the door for her and she walks in.

"So where do we start?" She asked as Hayden closed the door and looked at her tilting his head.

"I didn't actually think you'd come." He says making her raise a brow.

"Why not?" She asked and he chuckles.

"A beautiful girl coming into a boy's dorm, alone. Let's not forget I'm a VK." He says making Jazlyn chuckle but blush when she realized he called her beautiful.

"Being a VK is what sets you aside from the rest of the boys here. And well even though I probably shouldn't I do trust you Hayden." Jazlyn answers as Hayden shook his head before walking to his bed patting it for her to take a seat with him.

"Why did you decide to talk to me?" She suddenly asked making him look at her confused.

"Well you just don't talk much but you still talk to me, why?" She asked taking a seat where he signaled her before. He stayed quiet for a minute before answering.

"You're right I don't talk much, but with you I feel comfortable enough to talk. Don't ask me why because I really don't know." He says as she nods with a small smile.

"I really hope that doesn't mean I'm completely in the friend zone." She says causing Hayden to laugh.

"No, I do like you Jazlyn, just.. I don't know how to act about it. We don't date much in the isle just.. gang activity? I don't really know how to-" Jazlyn cuts him off by placing her hand over his lips with a smile on her lips before giggling, he looked adorable while rambling but he looked like he was struggling so she decided to help him out.

"I get it ok? You don't need to explain it." She says before pulling her hand away and smiling while looking into his eyes.

"That being said.. will you let me help you?.. I really like you Hayden and I just get so nervous and flushed when I see you but I really like you." She says causing Hayden to smile and caress her cheek.

"I'd like that." He says making her smile and they just stayed there for a bit just admiring each other before Hayden asked a question that he was dying to know.

"Who are your parents Jazlyn?" He asks looking into her eyes and she bite her lip.

"Jasmine and Aladdin." She answered as Hayden widen his eyes.

"Wait you're.." He started and she nodded.

"Yeah.." She said.

"I would've expected you to treat Jay much like Audrey did Mal." He answers and Jazlyn looked down.

"Audrey and me don't get along, it's probably because I'm closer to Ben than her but I like to think it's because our personality's are very different. I don't blame Jay for what his father did so there's no reason for me to treat him badly for it." She answered and Hayden nodded.

"Oh yeah, I wanted to ask you if you wanted to go to the Coronation with me?" Jazlyn asked.

"Coronation?" Hayden asked.

"Yeah, Ben's Coronation. That's were the Fairy Godmother blesses Ben with her wand and he becomes the new king." Jazlyn explained making Hayden raise a brow at the mention of the wand.

"That would be amazing, where would we sit?" He asked and Jazlyn smiled.

"In front with Ben, his parents and girlfriend." Jazlyn answered and he smirks before nodding.

"So about those drawing lessons." Jazlyn continued making Hayden chuckle before starting the lesson and they spent some time just getting to know each other and Jazlyn learning how to draw.

After school the next day Hayden found himself sitting next to Jay as the coach talked to them about the team and explaining that they needed to work together before giving them their jerseys, Jay being number 8 while Hayden being number 6. After that both of them headed to the girls dorm where Mal, Evie, and Carlos were. When they go in Jay starts showing off his jersey and Carlos whistles congratulating them.

"Did your plan work with Jane? Are you going over to see the wand?" Jay asks as Mal is looking through her spell book.

"Do you think that I would be going through every single spell in this book if I hadn't completely struck out?" Mal says rudely as Hayden takes a seat.

"Lucky for you Ben's coronation is coming around and we all get to go." Hayden says making Mal look at him.

"What does that have to do with the wand?" Mal asks him.

"Oh yeah, I found out that fairy Godmother blesses Ben with the wand at coronation and we all get to go. I have nothing to wear of course." Evie says remembering her conversation with Doug when Hayden mentioned the coronation and Mal looks at her then at Hayden who smirked at her. And then a knock was heard.

"What?" Evie asks not getting why Mal was looking at Hayden the way she did.

"Hold that thought." Mal says before going to the door and open it revealing Ben and Jazlyn who smile when she opens the door.

"Hey Mal. I didn't see you guys today. I was just wondering if you had any questions or anything that you needed." Ben says.

"Not that I know of." Mal says looking at the others and Jazlyn caught eyes with Hayden who smirked at her.

"Ok. Alright. Well if you need anything, just.." Ben says while starting to leave.

"Oh wait!" Mal calls causing him to stop.

"Um, is it true that we all get to go to your coronation?" Mal asked.

"Yeah, the whole school goes." Ben answers.

"Wow. That is beyond exciting. Do you think that it's a possibility that the five of us could stand in the front row next to the Fairy Godmother, just so we could soak up all that goodness?" Mal asked.

"I wish you could. Up front it's just me, my folks, my girlfriend, along with Lyn and her date." Ben says.

"Your girlfriend and Jazlyn's date?" Mal says an idea coming to her head.

"Yeah. I'm sorry." Ben says as Hayden gets up from the bed and waves at Jazlyn knowing what was coming next.

"Ok, thanks, bye." Mal says slamming the door shut before either of them could say anything.

"I think it's time that Bennyboo and Jazlyn got new partners." Mal says as Hayden smirked.

"Already done, she asked me yesterday." Hayden says.

"She asked you? You've been hanging out with her?" Jay asks and Hayden nodded.

"Surprisingly yes, she's.. entertaining to hang around with." Hayden answers taking a seat again.

"Well I still need a love spell." Mal says and Hayden passes her book to her.
