Chapter ~ 1
Sunlight. The warm, illuminating rays of sun shine through the windows of the large, rusty vehicle and creep into your skin fighting off the cold feeling that's made a home in your body as the engine roars to life.
You feel edgy, as if every noisy sound, every little movement is the voice of someone, or something trying to get you. You had to leave, you just had to and there isn't any other way you'd have it. Something tells you otherwise.
After a few minutes or so however, the bus ride comes to an abrupt halt as another passenger enters. The luminous light follows him in, it's warmth radiant on his face as you narrow your eyes to get a better look.
A glimpse. One glimpse is all it takes for you to know trouble is headed your way. The suspicious doe eyed man makes his way to the middle where you're seated. He approaches you cautiously with a sense of warning as you flinch a little.
"Is this seat taken?" The raven haired male questions with a polite grin, you can only gawk for a little while before shaking your head as a no. The other in turn chuckles cutely before seating himself next to you as you smile at the thought of even the simplest form of freedom.
He looks around your age, with soft brown hair framing his face the taller male smiles towards you as you return the gesture only releasing yourself from his gaze when you reach for your phone. Plugging in your earphones you drop your shoulders unwinding your sore muscles as you nod along to the music.
A sense of unwavering guilt settles into your stomach as you ponder over your bold actions. Running away wouldn't have been so easy without the people you love encouraging you and that's why you're so pressured to do your best.
You grab your phone only to realise that the security alert on your laptop's been triggered. Someone's trying to access your files and there's not much you can do about it unless you somehow remain unsuspected by the male seated next to you.
You angle yourself to the side and pull out your device only to see a series of annoying viruses popping up. A string of curses leave your mouth as you begin clacking at the keys of your keyboard, counteracting your opposer as you grin flatly when you delete whoever it is from your server.
A smirk tugs at the corner of your lip as you crack your fingers and rest your head on the seat, relaxing before you look around to find who it was. From the people on the bus you begin to pick out your suspects.
No one seems to catch your eye or seem suspicious until your eyes land on him. At the back corner, you make out the image of a young male, his bright red hair shines from underneath his dark cap as he meets your sight.
His familiar eyes pierce into you as he stares aimlessly into yours. You look away to break the bone chilling feeling he sends you and forget about him when the male next to you sighs frustratedly. When you look over you're certain you can cross him off the list.
A large frown paints his face as he glares sourly at the 'so close' sign on his candy crush app. The thought of him hacking you seems absurd and it comforts you that he isn't a threat.
"Are you new here?" He questions tilting his head slightly, you raise a brow at the sudden interest. "Only asking because you look different" he says. You glance around the bus curiously to see how 'different' you really look and he's right.
You are distinguishable from the rest. In an odd sense, you somehow manage to look completely Korean but some part of you makes you foreign. And for you it's normal because your mother's from Spain, there's a rare chance for you to know if you resemble her or your father as the ancient photos on your bedside do their appearances no justice.
A pair of fingers snap you out of your thoughts as you blink back into reality and face the raven haired male. "Thought I lost you for a while" he chuckles "I'm Jungkook" he informs whilst waiting for a reply. You hesitate.
"y/n."
