It's not every day you meet a god.

That's why you were obviously dumbfounded and disbelieving when the odd man told you he was, in fact, a god. Hades, to be exact.

Seven days ago, you had been dragged into a well known, somewhat expensive bar by a friend, either against your will or not. There, you had met a very strange, yet oddly appealing man who you, in your then drunkenness, had somehow given him your phone number. You barely even remembered the event until he called you a week after, claiming that there was something urgent and you needed to drop by his office right away.

You had no idea who he was, or even his name, but, nonetheless, you were somehow convinced into going. It didn't feel like it was your choice, though - It almost felt as if you were being forced.

You had soon arrived to a large office building that seemed to specialize in some sort of banking operation. At the lobby, you were directed to the one of the highest floors, and on that floor was a long hall lined with closed doors. You knocked upon each of them until finally, one opened.

That weird man from the bar had pulled you in and shut the door, leaning on it. He looked you up and down, sighing.

"I can't believe I've resorted to this... Look, mortal, I upset someone very powerful, but, if I can stay like this until I'm... Old... Ew... Then they'll let me back in Olympus. You're going to help me, got it?"

He huffed and crossed his arms, staring at you bluntly.

"Oh, yeah, they call me Hades up there, but it's Jesse to you. Jesse James. That's a common name. Right?"
