Hailey was in her bedroom, packing a duffle bag with some clothes and essentials for her summer training camp.

She made sure that she had a pair of pajamas, two sets of clothes, lots of undergarments and a phone charger.

It would be strange to not be near her mother for a while like this, Hailey almost thought against going to the camp altogether.

But she knew in her mind that it would only push her behind her classmates and she would be farther away from her dream. Plus her mother would smack her for such a dumb idea.

"Hails." Speak of the devil, her mother called to her. Hailey looked at her mother and smiled.

"Hey mom, I'm just finishing packing for the camp. I just feel like there's more to do." Hailey told her mother.

Her mother sent her a soft smile, "Actually, I have a present for you." She said and pulled out a jewelry case from behind her back.

When Melodie opened the box, a pair of diamond earrings with a cute round design of silver surrounding the gem.

"Consider it a congratulations on passing your first year of U.A."

Hailey smiled and hugged her mother tightly.

"Aw mom! Thank you so much! I'll wear the everyday!" Hailey grinned.

Her mother smiled again, "You better, they were hella expensive." She joked.

Hailey took the earrings out of the case and placed them in the earring holes on her ears.

"I feel like you're recruiting me to be a babysitter." The man said before tilting his head back to gulp up a shot of liquor. "But I suppose that's what I get for being apart of the team for awhile, huh Shigaraki?"

"You understand full well on why you're looking over the operations on this mission, Spy." The gaseous form of the portal weirder responded formally.

"Master wants you to prove your worth by making sure this whole thing works out." The other added, as he placed another playing card onto his structure of cards balancing on one another.

"So infiltrating so many places to get all that information for you guys isn't enough, eh? Oh well, as long as I can make a request."

The two others turned and looked at him, awaiting for him to tell them what he wanted.

"I'm bringing my kid back here, to either join and hold onto my quirk or become a Nomu, doesn't matter. May as well take what's mine."

"Now that you've finished your first semester at UA High, it's time for summer vacation." Mr Aizawa told his students. "However, don't think that these will be months of rest for you in training heroes. At this camp, we'll push you to go beyond your limit. You're aiming to become .. plus ultra.

"Yessir!"

"Well, I'm looking forward to this, I hope that I can actually practice some more of attacks." Hailey smiled as she spoke to Kirishima, Bakugou and Todoroki.

"Yeah, maybe we'll have to come up with an attack for us two." Kirishima grinned, "Rock Wave?"

Hailey giggled, "Maybe Kiri! And Baku, maybe we can come up with one too!"

The blonde scoffed, "I don't need a combo attack to be stronger than everyone else here."

"You're such a party pooper." Hailey teased, then noticed Uraraka shouting about how she was excited for the camp as well and did a clapping dance. Kaminari and Mina joined in.

Hailey laughed at their antics.

Hailey then got on the bus, when seeing almost all of the other seats filled, she sat by herself in the back. Luckily, it gave her some leg room to lay down and have a nap.

Although, she would have at least liked to have sit by one of her friends. Rather than feel like the odd one out.

"Listen up, this bus ride will take about an hour, make sure you stay focused." Mr Aizawa warned his students, only to be interrupted by Kaminari.

"Hey, why aren't we blasting some music?!" He shouted, adding to the chatter on the bus.

Hailey ignored her classmates and put in her earbuds and listened to some music. Billie Eilish being her number one playlist to visit.

When the bus stopped, everyone unloaded and stretched their limbs.

"this isn't much of a rest area."

"I have a feeling that all is not what it seems." Hailey commented to Midoriya.

"Hailey, where did you sit on the bus?" Midoriya asked his friend.

"The very back, since there weren't a lot of options really." Hailey answered with a laid back shrug. "But at least I got to have a nap."

"Yeah.."

"You don't actually think that we stopped here to stretch your legs, did you?" Mr Aizawa asked the class.

"Heya, Erasure." A female voice called to him from the black car.

"Long time no see." Erasure greeted back with a polite bow.

"Your feline fantasies are here, say meow!" Winked on of the women in cat like attire.

The other followed her actions, "Purrfectly cute and cuddly like girls!"

"You can call us the Wild Wild Pussy Cats!" They introduced.

Then Hailey noticed the little boy standing awkwardly by them.

'Mood'

"These are the Pro Heroes that you'll be working with during the training camp." Mr Aizawa explained to his deadpanned students.

"The four person hero team that specializes in mountain rescues!" Midoriya exclaimed in excitement.

Hailey giggled at his enthusiasm as he continued.

"The Pussycats were founded when we were kids like forever ago!" Midoriya grinned, the two women looked at him shocked before the blonde on ran up to Midroriya "This marks their twelfth year working as-"

A paw glove hitting him in the face cut off Midoriya.

"I'm pretty sure your math must be off!" She said darkly, "I'm eighteen at heart."

"Eighteen years young I guess." Hailey muttered awkwardly.

"Exactly!" The blonde exclaimed, happily smiling at the red head.

"Everyone say hello." Mr Aizawa instructed his students, they obliged.

The brunette gestured towards the wide landscape of forest.

"We own this whole stretch of land here, everything that you can see." She explained, "The summer amp that you'll be staying at is over there." She pointed to the far distance.

"Uhh then why did we stop all the way here?" Uraraka questioned.

"We gonna run, I bet five bucks that's what's happening." Hailey said to Kaminari and Kirishima.

"I'll take that bet, no one is that cruel." Kaminari said, shaking her hand to secure the deal.

"Let's just get back on the bus." Sero nervously suggested.

The brunette woman smiled evilly, "The current time is nine thirty in the morning. If you're fast about it, you might make it there by noon."

"Holy crap, no way, guys- SAVE YOURSELVES!" Kirishima muttered, everyone tried to load back onto the bus.

"Kitties who don't make it there by twelve thirty won't get any lunch." The brunette continued.

"theres no point in getting on the bus." Hailey muttered in realization and looked to the forestry.

"You should have figured it out by now, students." Mr Aizawa piped in, "the training camp has already begun."

Then the blonde woman jumped in front of the students, blocking their way to the bus. Then she emitted a blue light from her hands, making Hailey assume that something was about to happen and she shouldn't stick around any longer.

"Looks like we're running!" She exclaimed and boosted off the platform with a running start.

As she was in the air, Hailey realized that she left in record time, to see a mudslide of her classmates not far behind her.

She was able to awkwardly run into a bunch of tree branches as she landed.

"And I thought mud runs were messy." She remarked.

(They are, But holy shit do you lose weight)

It wasn't until she heard a loud and threatening growling that Hailey realized that she was in danger. Except it was looking at her classmates, and it's back was facing her.

Hailey got herself untangled from the tree and shouted at the giant beast.

"Hey Sweetheart!" She shouted and was able to grab its attention long enough for Midoriya to grab Mineta out of the way of the beast.

Koda attempted to reason with the beast with his animal quirk, but was futile.

"Hey is that thing not an animal, why isn't his Quirk working?" Hailey asked outloud.

"I think that it's Pixie Bob's quirk!" Midoriya replied, noticing some chunks of dirt fall off of it.

"Okay, So no holding back or are we running?" Hailey questioned.

"We're allowed to use our quirks here." Midoriya told her, since she didn't hear.

"I've got this!" The green haired male declared and began to charge up his quirk.

Todoroki then entrapped the beast in an ice attack and Iida shouted his signature move as he used his jet legs to blast through the beast.

Bakugou also attacked the beast, and Midoriya used his quirk to finish off their opponent.

As the other students complimented the group on their attacks, Hailey snickered.

"Don't worry guys, we'll all get some action. Since when is there only one enemy at the beginning of a course like this?"

Just then a dragon beast formed behind them and took flight.

Hailey smirked and her Boosts visibly appeared under Hailey's feet. She bent her knees in a ready position.

"I've got this one!" She declared and boosted herself into the air after the beast and was able to release a powerful wavelength boost with a strong punching motion to destroy the mud monster.

When she landed back, she and her classmates decided that it would be more efficient to run and avoid any more of the beasts. Because lunch priorities man.

"LET'S GO CLASS A!"

The class continued to fight and destroy the beasts with many acts of teamwork.

"Todo, if you may." Hailey grinned.

Todoroki grabbed onto Hailey's wrist with one hand and with his other, created a curved ice ramp glacier (thing). He then pulled Hailey as she boosted her legs for more speed, her feet slid on the ice and then Todoroki released his grip on her. Hailey went into the air and readied a strong boosted kick. After striking, the monster crumbled into pieces on the ground.

It was 5:22 pm by the time the class showed up to the camp, all scratched up and exhausted.

"I wanna die even more than when I woke up this morning." Hailey groaned with a scratchy throat as she fell to the ground, Todoroki just grabbing her wrist and dragging her.

"You said it would only take 3 hours!" Sero exclaimed at the heroes.

"Sorry, I guess we just based the time off of how we'd do." The brunette answered.

"Meow, meow, meow, meow meow mow meow! You kids did a lot better than I thought against my dirt monsters!" Pixie Bob exclaimed happily, "You guys were seriously awesome, especially you five, it seems that you have a lot of experience." She pointed to Midoriya, Bakugou, Todoroki, Hailey and Iida. She licked her lips and lunged towards them, "I call dibs on these kittens! I'll groom them myself!"

The boys shyed away from Pixie Bob and Hailey hid behind Iida and Midoriya. Having that kind of attention was unwanted from them.

"Mandalay, has she always been like this?" Aozawa questioned the brunette (yes! I finally know her name!).

"She's been like that lately, she's at the age where she takes a mate." Mandalay explained.

"Speaking of ages-" Midoriya tried to speak, but was once again cut off by Pixie Bob.

"Choose your next words carefully."

"I was just going to ask about who that kid was and why he was here." Midoriya timidly replied and pointed at the small boy next to Mandalay and Aizawa.

"Oh this little guy? He's actually my cousin's son. He just lives with us now." Mandalay introduced, "Don't be shy, Kota, say hi to everyone else. You're going to be around them for the next week."

Kota stated at them, it was hard to read what emotion he was feeling.

Hailey and Midoriya cheerfully walked up to the kid.

"Hi there Kota, nice to meet ya!" Hailey greeted him with a smile. "My name's Hailey, only super awesome people get to call me by my first name."

"And my name's Midoriya, we're from UA High School and in the hero course. It is really nice to meet you." Midoriya introduced and extended his hand towards the young kid.

Only to receive a strong punch to the groin.

"Good Christ!" Hailey shrieked, horrified.

'So much for Midi bringing some cute kids into the world -\('-')/-'

Iida rushed to Midoriya's side and scolded Kota for punching his friend's scrotum.

(Wheeze to the fact that I had to type that sentence)

"The last thing I want is to hang out with some wannabe heroes." Kota glared back.

"That kid's got spunk." Bakugou remarked, a smile on his face.

"He's like a mini version of you." Todoroki commented, Bakugou's smile fading into a frown and glare.

"Enough playing around, go grab your stuff from the bus. Once your bags are in your rooms, we'll have dinner in the cafeteria." Mr Aizawa instructed his students. "Then you can bathe and then sleep. Tomorrow's training starts in earnest, you better get a move on."

Everyone happily dig into the food that was provided for them.

Hailey's head laid facedown on the table, next to her empty plate.

"Hailey! Don't fall asleep before you've eaten!" Iida scolded her.

Hailey groaned and slowly stuffed some rice that she mixed with some beef into her mouth.

"I'd rather just sleep." She yawned. "I heard that you guys got a room while we got a small bunk room."

"Let's go check it out later, Hails!" Mina suggested happily.

" 'Kaaay."

"Woooow! Who would have thought that all I'd need was a nice hot bath?!" Hailey exclaimed as she leaned back into the hot spring. She let out a content sigh, "Ahh~ I'm in heaven!"

"Right?"

The girls then heard Iida yelling at Mineta about his provocative comments towards the girls on the other side of the wall.

Before he could climb the wall though, Kota smacked him back down to the men's side of the wall.

"Before you become a hero, try becoming a good human being first." He scolded.

"Mineta really is the worst, isn't he?" Tsuyu exclaimed.

"Thanks so much Kota! You're our hero!" Hailey shouted happily and sunk more into the water.

"Thanks a bunch Kota-babe! We owe you one!" Mina yelled enthusiastically.

Upon seeing some of the girls who were anything but properly clothed, Kota lost his balance from the shock and fell backwards.

Luckily Midoriya was able to catch him.

Some time passed and Hailey decided to go check on Kota. This time in her fluffy pajama pants (with eggs, bacon and waffles on them ;D) and a white long sleeved shirt.

When approaching the opened door, Hailey gently knocked. Mandalay and Midoriya looked up and greeted her.

"Hailey What are you doing here?" Midoriya asked.

Hailey quickly noticed that Midoriya was just in his towel and looked at Kota, who was laying on the couch unconscious.

"Just checking on Kota, I kinda saw him fall back and heard that you caught him and brought him here. Poor kid, must have been having a rough day." She then looked to Midoriya, "And you are standing there in just a towel." She deadpanned And Midoriya blushed in embarrassment.

Midoriya turned to Mandalay, "That reminds me, Kota doesn't really like heroes that much. I just found it strange, maybe it's because I was surrounded by people who looked up to and wanted to be heroes all my life, and that includes me."

Pixie bob then entered the room with a tray of drinks. She explained how Kota's parents were heroes and that they were murdered. Kota was so little at the time that he thought that his parents had left him behind and still didn't understand or care for heroes anymore.

"That makes more sense, I'm sorry that Kota had to go through that." Hailey said apologetically.

Hailey thought it was unlike Midoriya to keep quiet, but she decided not to question it.

The second day of the training camp was, well- it had an early morning start, which didn't do well for Hailey. She enjoyed getting twelve hours of sleep, but waking up at 5 in the morning with only 6 hours of sleep was anything but enjoyable.

Mr Aizawa greeted his sleepy students who were already in their UA gym uniforms. He explained that the purpose of the training camp was to increase everyone's skills and quirks to obtain a provisional license, just so they could fight villains with their quirks.

Aizawa then called out to Bakugou and threw a softball at him. He caught it and Aizawa told him to throw it.

"Just like the fitness test huh?" Bakugou caught on.

Mr Aizawa nodded and reminded Bakugou that at the start of the year, Bakugou's throwing distance was 705.2 meters.

What differed from the beginning of the year was not only the strength of their quirks, but of Class 1-A's friendships. A lot of the students cheered on Bakugou as he warmed up his arm.

"I've got this."

As Bakugou then threw the ball and used his quirk to powerfully release the ball, he screamed, "GOTO HEEELLL!"

The throw causing a breeze to release.

"That was 709.6 meters" Mr Aizawa read, causing everyone to have shocked expressions on their faces, especially Bakugou.

"No way, I would have thought that he'd make it to 750 or 800 at least." Hailey muttered.

"You've had a single semester at UA, due to your various experiences you've definitely improved. But those improvements have mostly been limited to mental and technical skills. With a slight increase of stamina thrown in along the way." Mr Aizawa explained, "As you can see, your quirks themselves have not improved much on a fundamental level. That's why now we're going to focus on improving your powers."

Aizawa then smiled evilly, "This will be so hard that you'll feel like you're dying. Let's hope you all survive."

And thus, the gruelling training begun.

Bakugou was dunking his hands into boiling water and emitting explosions continuously.

Todoroki was sitting in a water tub and practicing his control on emitting fire and ice as well as the temperature.

Hailey had assisted Koda in his vocal exercises earlier to increase her own vocal quirk. It was to improve her ability to switch from voice to voice, as well as the emotions in said voices.

But much later, after her voice was beginning to give out, Hailey decided to work on emitting wavelengths and the different levels she could control.

Hailey crouched to the ground and emitted an echo wavelength. She could feel the vibrations that her classmates gave off with their movements when the wavelengths bounced off of them and then returned to her.

Hailey looked at her surroundings and noticed that the wavelength only reached to where Kirishima and Ojiro were sparring. She frowned.

"Guess it wasn't enough of a push off." She mumbled to herself before boosting herself into the air with a jump and emitted a larger echo wave when she landed.

This time, the wave was able to reach Sero on one of the hills. It passed Bakugou and he had a few words to say- I mean scream at Hailey about her quirk.

"HEY CARROT TOP, STOP FUCKING SENDING YOUR DAMN QUIRK AT ME! ITS FUCKING DISTRACTING!"

"He's still so loud even from far away." Hailey commented.

Hailey wouldn't have thought that Bakugou would feel the echo wave, since his quirk was distracting and could possibly move the earth.

"Hailey." Mr Aizawa called to her, as he approached her.

"Hey Mr Aizawa." She greeted.

"I want you to focus on your wavelength Boosts, mostly on how long you can use them and increase your strength." He instructed, looking at his clipboard. "Also doesn't hurt to try using both of your quirks at the same time like your final exam."

Hailey nodded, "Maybe I'll save that for when I'm more isolated from people, wouldn't  want to make my classmates deaf."

"Suit yourself." Her teacher said before noticing and waking towards Class 1-B.

Hailey then backup and and took a running start before taking off in a jump and boosting herself high over the trees. Class 1-B looked up to see her flying by. Hailey was able to land on a large branch and boost off of it. As she passed more trees, she used some Boosts to punch through and extra branches that weren't large enough to land on and support her weight.

Later on in the day, it was time to eat. Pixie Bob told the students that they had to make and serve the food themselves.

"Oh my gosh! I could go for some curry right now!" Hailey exclaimed, "C'mon everyone let's make the best ever!" She was more happy than the rest of her classmates.

Iida joined in Hailey's reassurance once realizing the logical hero side of cooking for others.

Mr Aizawa thanked the two students in his head.

Todoroki lit some of the stoves upon his students request with his fire quirk.

Sero turned to Bakugou and suggested that he could light some stones with some explosions.

"Sero!" Hailey shouted in panic, "That is a bad idea, explosions make damage - not fire-"

But it was too late, Bakugou attempted to use his quirk, only for the stone stove to be demolished.

"Good Christ." Hailey grumbled before seeing Todoroki light more stoves. The girls were enthusiastic at his quirk use, and Hailey swore that she saw him with a small smile on his face.

One gentle smile soon found its way onto her face, 'I'm glad to see you and our classmates getting along, Sho.'

In the end, the curry wasn't the best, but nonetheless the tired and hungry students dug into their dishes.

Mina turned around to talk to Yaoyarozu, commenting on quickly she was eating her food.

"Yes, well my quirk turns lipids into brand new atoms to great inorganic materials. That means the more I eat, the more I make." She explained to her classmate.

"Kinda like how poop works." Sero added, causing Yaoyarozu to feel bad and Hailey to loudly choke on her food.

Todoroki patted her back as Hailey coughed loudly.

"Holy shit dude." She wheezed.

Back at that cave that Tokoyami was training in, many began approaching.

"Ew this mask is so not cute!" One cried as she waved a knife around.

"It's from the black market, just be happy that it works." Another commented in a gas mask.

"I'm just saying that they could be a little more stylish!" The blonde grumbled

"Hello darlings, sorry to keep you waiting."

"Get to work, get to work."

"And then that makes seven of us." A man with purple charred and stapled skin noted before noticing a final member walk up to them. "Paralyzer, why are you here?"

The older man chuckled, "Shigaraki said that you'd need a babysitter. But you all can do your things, just make sure to follow the plan and get the targets. I don't care if you have to hurt them, just make sure they come breathing. The others, go nuts on them."

"Now, as predetermined, Dabi, make them suffer. You play God, their lives rest in your hands.."
