Simon’s POV

We were seated in the front row. Ethan had Lucas placed on his lap, and Henry was sat beside Vikk. Rosie was holding my arm. Harry was cuddled up into JJ, as usual. Josh was sat beside me and Josh next to him. Tobi was sitting on the other side of me. The kids’ dad was sitting in the very front. 

“You are all gathered here to hear the ruling on the Lewis children: Harry Lewis, Rosie Lewis, Josh Lewis, Henry Lewis, and Lucas Lewis. The court has decided on the primary parent as well as visitation rights for the non-primary parent. Are there any questions before we hear the ruling?”

There were none. 

“Hey Rosie, is going to be fine. Ok,” I told her. She was sat up looking straight forward. 

“Was that for me or for you, mate?” she replied, smirking. 

“Shut up,” I teased back. 

“The primary parent is Mr. Gregory Lewis.”

I relaxed a lot. Thank fuck. 

“Once a week, Ms. Karen Dabney (totally fucking pulled that name outta my ass) will be allowed to have the children over at her residence. They shall start as supervised visits. At the request of Ms. Dabney, the court can consider unsupervised and sleep over visits at a later date. The dates can be arranged between the two of you or a lawyer can sit down with you. The parent will remain here to figure out the date. Thank you for your cooperation, dismissed.”

Rosie, Josh, and Harry just kinda sat there in shock.

“Efan, is it good?” Lucas asked. 

“Sort of little, sort of. I’ll explain it to ya later, okay?”

Lucas nodded, agreeing. 

“Hey, guys, do you all wanna stay with us tonight, it’ll be fun.”

“Sounds good,” Rosie replied. 

“I’m game.”

“Lucas ain’t letting go off me, Si,” Ethan joked. 

Vikk asked Henery if he wanted to go to his home and he said no. 

“I’ll go confirm with Greg yeah,” I told them, “we have enough space in the cars.” I walked to the front of the room where Greg was. He pulled me into a hug. 

“Oh thank you Simon, I-i’m so glad.”
“I know, I know. You did a fabulous job with this and those five kids.”

“It wasn’t all me you know that. The boys are practically older brothers to all of ‘em.”

“We are a family, family has each other's backs.”

“Yes, yes, of course.”

“I’m assuming you are asking to take the kids while we finish this up?”

“Yeah,” I smiled, “If that’s all good. Come round later for dinner later yeah?”

“Yeah, will do. I’ll keep you updated. 

“Thanks. Bye Greg.”

“Bye Simon.”
