Harry's POV
It was around one and Luke had gotten changed into his suit. JJ and I needed to get ready, so we headed to Ethan's room.
I knocked, "Eth."
"Coming, one sec," he said. A moment later, he opened the door.
"You look snazzy," I said.
Ethan chuckled, "Got to clean up well."
"Innit."
"Well, you two better go change then."
"Yeah, see ya," JJ said.
"Hey little," Ethan said, as he took Luke into his arms.
We headed back to our bedrooms to get changed. As we got ready, JJ could sense my nervous and scared energy.
"Harry, love, it's the same as I told Luke. No one is taking anyone, anywhere."
"I am not four, I am not falling for that."
"It's no lie," he said, holding me closer.
"JJ what happens i-"
"Look, everything points in our favor. She cannot touch us, okay? Nothing, and I mean nothing, bad is going to happen. Trust me on this one."
"Fine," I said, leaning in to kiss him.
Ethan's POV
"So, am I going to be carrying you all day, little?" I teased him.
He pouted at me and started to tear up.
"No, no I don't mind, I love little cuddles."
"E-efan, I-i d-d-don't wike h-her," he said crying again. It took something big to make Lucas this clingy and upset.
"I know, I don't either."
"I-i don't w-wanna l-let go Efan."
"Nor do I, little, nor do I," I told the small boy in my arms, "Wanna watch some TV?"
"Football?" he requested.
"West Ham are playing tomorrow," I told him.
"Wolves, I know."
I smiled at the little West Ham fan I'd created.
"Liverpool are playing United, wanna watch that?"
"Yeah."
I switched on my TV and put it on the correct channel.
Lucas and I laid down in my bed. He was cuddled under my arm. It reminded me of when my dad and I used to watch the football. It was our only time together, just us. It was always perfect whether we won or lost. He was the one who gave me the label of West Ham fan. I missed those days. I did not want to lose these moments with Lucas or Harry or any of the Lewis kids. I couldn't lose Lucas, he needed me too much. What kinda older-brother guardian would I be if I let him go? I-i, there was nothing I could do, though. It'd be fine, though. It will.
My phone started ringing. The caller I.D was Joshua Bradly. I always had everyone in my contacts as just their full name.
"Hey Josh, sup?"
"Are you or Lucas hungry?"
"I'm too nervous to be hungry. I'll ask him now," I told J, "You hungry, little?"
"N-no."
"He says no, but could you pack him some chocolate milk and a sandwich for when he is hungry. He will be in a min."
"Yeah course. I was going to do that regardless," Josh chuckled, "You sure you don't need anything?"
"All good, J, promise."
"Fine, see ya downstairs in fifteen."
"Yessir."
I hung up.
