After waiting several hours in the hospitals waiting room the doctor finally comes out. It was a girl doctor she kind of looked like Meredith from Grey's anatomy.
The doctor taps her pen on the clipboard and shakes her head. It was unclear of what she was going to say.

" Arthur has three stomach ulcers on his liver.
They should heal promptly as long as he takes it easy and rests."

" Is he awake?"
My voice interrupts the lady.  She turns to face me and says

" Yes"

Without hesitation or permission I enter arthurs hospital room. He's on his phone again. Clearly this isn't effecting him the way I see it. He's been distant from all of us. He won't look me in the eyes anymore. He refuses to go on fun adventures with mat. Let's not forget he refused to do any more tiktoks with becks.
To her that was like a death threat.

" Give me that!"
Arthur growls at me as I yank the phone out of his hand.

" Absolutely not!"
I continue to scold him
" Your neglecting your health! I won't sit here and allow my fiance to neglect his well-being.
Do you know how much time you spend on this phone? I mean there's so much stuff to do other then playing games all day on your phone!"

Arthur rolls his eyes at me as he gives me the death stare

" I don't see the big deal mari stop being overdramatic."

" How about you take care of yourself for once and maybe we'll talk"

Arthur looks away clearly I'm pissing him the hell off. But you know what? My blood was boiling I could care less.
Finally I manage to keep my cool . Arthur breaks the silence as he snaps at me

"WHATEVER" he responds back

Hold up!
I'm sorry did Arthur really just tell me whatever? Oh fuck no.

" Whatever? WHATEVER!!!"
I was practically screaming at this point . My face was turning red as I clenches up my fists.
Becks Was standing in the  doorway a smug look on her face . She loves it when I yell at Arthur for some reason

" How dare you speak to me like I'm your friend from the hood! I am your future wife and I won't condone of any of this behavior is that clear Arthur Lorenzo Lynn!!!"

Arthur rolls his eyes but then he pauses as he stares at me intensely. His eyes widen as he bites his lip. Clearly he had just figured out I'm actually pissed.

" Becks!"
With a snap of my fingers becks stands next to me. Handing her the phone I demand

" Destroy it"

Before Arthur can say a word becks grabs both sides of arthurs phone. Then she cracks the whole thing in half. She bows at me with a sinister grin and hands it back to me.

Becks the exits the room. Arthur Frozen in  shock that becks actually listened to me. Becks never in her life time took commands from neither of us. But lately what I say goes .

" When you start taking care of yourself I'll buy you a new phone. "

Arthur nods as I hand him the crushed remains of his iPhone 16.

Then I exit the room still anxious about arthurs behavior. How dare he snap back at me like that. I'm his future wife. I'm head of the table as well. I just wish Arthur would respect me more-

" Mari?"
I stop walking as I hear a deep manly voice call my name. My eyes widen as I turn around.
There he stood.....
