When I wake up my shoulder is hurting so much. My wound is fixed: patched up and wrapped. Thank God mat saved me. If it wasn't for him Leon would have most likely killed me .
Leon.....
He must have been following me to my job. I was so caught up in living my life that I forgot about our Leon situation. I let my guard down: I had this coming since day one. I just wanted to be normal. Live off my dream of modeling. But I guess that's impossible isn't it.

My bedroom door opens slowly as Arthur comes in. A icepack and some Tylenol for my headache and aches.
" How are you feeling?"
I glance at Arthur still dazed a bit from all the medicine inside of me.

" The home doctor said you should take the weekend off. I know you don't want to but .....
You were attacked."
I smile weakly as arthur holds my hand.a smiles forms across his face as he kisses it.

" What are we going to do about Leon...."?

Arthur doesn't speak at first but then he grins.
" Simple: what did we do to his father?
Where going to catch Leon eventually. Obviously he must be up to something. "

Arthur kisses my forehead as he stands. He opens the door: becks and mat were both standing there. They enter the room cautiously.
Becks smiles as she crosses her arms
Trying to make the best out of the dilemma.
" My oh my what a nasty cut. At least you'll have a scar to brag about. Think of it as a tattoo."
A smile forms across my face as I sit up.
Becks hands me a lolipop as I take it. Silently eating the lolipop.
Mat stares at me then he looks away.
I feel like shit. I thought mat was a bad person.....
But if it wasn't for him I would have gotten murdered last night.
Mat smiles weakly as I speak
" I'm sorry I've been treating you badly...."

" It's okay"

Suddenly Arthur speaks cutting the both of us off.
" I got bad news....
Our road trip is cancelled."

           "What!!!!"
All three of us managed to holler at Arthur . I can't believe this!
We wasted so much money just to not go at all?

" Arthur this isn't fair -"

" Mari it's for your own safety.
No you two get out I need to talk to Mari alone "

Without asking why mat and beck's leave the room. Becks locking the door behind her. I stare at Arthur anxiously. Mad that he makes all the choices and never listens to any of us.
 
" You didn't ha e to cancell our road trip."
Sitting up I fix my hair and get dressed. Another day another headache. Arthur wraps his arms around me from behind and kisses my neck. I can smell his expensive cologne. The same one I had got him for Christmas. That's same Christmas Arthur had gotten me the sugar vanilla cookie scented perfume. The same perfume I just so happen to be wearing now.
Arthur begins to sniff me. His nose tickling my neck. But then Arthur makes a pig noise. He snorts in a low voice: knowing how to make me laugh.
We both laugh for a second. But then Arthur does the unthinkable. Arthur picks me up like a sack of potatoes and pins me on the bed.

I can feel my face grow red instantlyas he leans in whispering in my ear.

" I won't let Leon ever touch you again....".

Staring at him I smile. Arthur's smile fades as he stares deep into my eyes.  Doing the same I lean in: pulling him on top of the bed. We lay there close to each other . Just staring at each other with so much lust.

     " Let's make tonight memorable shall we?"
